Now THAT's money well spent! How about an F IN MONEY MANAGEMENT, instead of an FAA downgrade???? 8 billion wasted shekels, that could have been used to feed the hungry, educate children,or even UPGRADE BEN-GURION

Disengagement Cost NIS 8 Billion

Kislev 25, 5769, 22 December 08 10:28

( The Disengagement Authority reported to the government Sunday that the disengagement from Gaza and Northern Samaria cost the state of Israel at least 8 billion shekels. Those monies include compensation paid to the former residents of Gush Katif, but do not include costs to the Defense Ministry or the Lands Authority.

The government decided previously that the disengagement authority will continue to operate until the end of 2009. The authority is responsible for the housing and other needs of the former residents of Gush Katif who were uprooted from their homes in the disengagement in 2005.
