"WE PROTEST": Open protest letter from Jewish bloggers against the abomination parade planned for today in the holy city of Jerusalem by a shameless populace.

WE PROTEST

We, the undersigned Jewish bloggers, hereby protest – in the strongest terms possible – the parading and glorification of an “alternative lifestyle”, one that is classified in the Holy Torah as an abomination, especially through the streets of the holy city of Jerusalem.

The Torah demands that we live by a certain code of sexual morality, and as such, we are forbidden from certain relationships that a moral society cannot tolerate.  These include incest, adultery, bestiality, and homosexuality.  All these are considered grave sins in Judaism and incur the punishment of Karet, or excision from the Jewish people.  An act performed with witnesses during the time of the Sanhedrin would incur an even worse consequence – namely, capital punishment.

And this is only on an individual level.  When the sin is committed on a societal level, it is much worse.  The Torah and our sages record how these acts were catalysts for both the Great Flood during Noah’s lifetime and the destruction of the Five Cities of the Plain.

As such, we consider any attempt to glorify acts that the Torah vehemently forbids by parading any such lifestyle through the streets with horror and utter disdain.  Such parades in New York and San Francisco would be bad enough, but through the streets of the Holy Land of Israel is a thousand-fold worse.  The Torah specifically warns us not to act in sexually abominable ways lest we be vomited out of the land.  One can only imagine how it is viewed in Heaven when people brazenly display to G-d how abominable one can be.  And if the Land of Israel cannot tolerate such acts of utter gall, all the more so in the holy city of Jerusalem, a city that is overwhelmingly religious.

We in no way wish to minimize the struggles in temptation some may have in this area and view with positivity those who have such inclinations and bravely overcome them.  But those are not the people irreverently parading through the streets with rainbow flags, who show utter contempt for the Holy Torah and all we hold dear.

We therefore vehemently protest the “Pride” Parade in Jerusalem and everywhere else in the world where they may occur.  We hope and pray that those who take part in such parades do a complete Teshuva for their actions, and may we see a rebuilt Jerusalem, speedily in our days, Amen.

Oh, and by the way, if you read, by accessing the various labels below,  some of the articles I wrote in past years about the manipulations and shenanigans of the New Israel Fund, which is actually a front for the Ford Foundation, Yemach Shemam, you will see how involved they are in subverting Israel, our Divine mission and religion. Just today an article appeared on A7, which reveals the NIF's sneaky tactics, how they use the LGBT for their own means.... and to think our People falls for their dirty tricks?.... This is all so sickening! Great that at least there is now some small push back against this disgrace. Let the ball roll!

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem.....! Some good ideas coming, below

Writing to you from the Holy Land of Israel, from the mountains of Judea....

Nothing can resist the power of the soul, the power of pure Jewish music. Even this communist, Jesuit pope's soul has been stirred by it: look at him swaying! This music, the roots of which go back to the chants of the Levites in the Holy Temple of Jerusalem, the Temple built by King Solomon - whose father King David composed the words of the psalm above - , is a testament to the deep connection of the Jewish People to the Temple  and the Western Wall, the Kotel . And now here comes one foolish Trump who, to be politically correct, thinks he can change what God Himself has decreed? So Jerusalem does not belong to the Jewish People? The Western Wall is not the remnant  wall of the Temple Mount? It is not the site that Jews the world over have been praying towards for the last 2000 years?? Foolish, foolish man who thinks he can make the rules! He does not make the rules, God does! This foolish man will bury himself and America along with him if he does not, immediately, recognize that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish People, and when he comes to the Western Wall, humbly accepts as his hosts whomever the owners of Jerusalem, the Jews,  choose. He can still change his mind and save himself and his country, or he can bury himself and his country as well.

Incidentally, it doesn't mean that I agree with these rabbis going serenading this major enemy ( by definition, the Vatican IS our enemy!) of the Jewish People and groveling at his feet, asking for favors. I think they made a serious mistake and serve the cause of interfaith, G-d forbid ; none of them will dare look us in the eyes after this ( although upon listening carefully I hear one man mockingly asking Rabbi Gluck if he asked the pope about the artifacts, I think Rabbi Gluck answers yes, and another man bursts out laughing; so they are not there only to grovel after all - good move and Kol Hakavod!!). Still, this video can serve as a powerful demonstration of our eternal attachment to Har Habayit, the Kotel, Tehillim, the Psalms written by our king David, and of course to Hashem, our One and only God; it can be used as a tool to show the goyim who we are, what we are, where we come from and where we are going, and that's Jerusalem! And we, the Jews privileged to live in the Holy Land of Israel, are staying right home, and that's Jerusalem, that's Har Habayit, that's the Kotel, that's all of Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates. And nobody will take us away from here, ever, unless Hashem so decrees.

PS:  Maybe the video below could be useful in our PR predicament regarding Jerusalem; this man, Jerome Corsi, seems knowledgeable, and he can give us good advice regarding our PR battle for Jerusalem; there is a follow-up video coming tomorrow too: let's follow his model, and use our collective brains to see how we can change the narrative about Jerusalem and Israel!  

At the same time, this video is proof that if Trump causes damage to Israel, he himself will be done with: the more he hurts us, whether wittingly or unwittingly, the more he himself will be hurt! So the key to his success is doing Hashem's work here in Eretz Yisrael, and not bowing to our enemies' demands.

How about a boycott of Jerusalem that day? No one comes to work - especially not in govt offices - and no one comes to teach or to learn or to buy. 

How do you like the idea? Any way to pass it around, with CLEAR EXPLANATIONS as to why people are not showing up for work?

Not sure. Those of us working in religious institutions {like myself} may want to go to work, and "rally the troops."

Not buying in Jerusalem may also be an option. Shop for Shabbath on Wednesday, or make a point of spending the extra sheqqels to shop that day in your local stores instead of shopping after work in Jerusalem.

Like you implied above, sometimes can only feel protests in their wallets.

Years ago in Chicago, the program of "gay dollars," had a similar effect. Gays stamped the money they spent. So that after a month or so, business owners saw how much money a two income, few or no children home had to throw around. Businesses then started being more "open."

We can do the same in the opposite way, by showing the power of religious sheqqels,...or something like that.

I have to say that hiding from "the smell" is unlikely to force the stink source to disappear.
The "gay parade" is the ultimate form of unJewish life and as such it must be identified.
Harming the income of the system that supports degenerates is a good idea as well.
