If this is for real, then I owe a public apology to Danny Ayalon. Because of his non-Jewish wife, I doubted his sincerity in the negotiations with the Vatican, which he heads... but he seems sincere. Who knows where salvation will come from?

UPDATE:

Thank you, David, for reminding me of another crucial reason why the PTB want to get rid of Ayalon and Lieberman; TIPH, and "DETIPHING" Hevron. Yes, TIPH has to go!

DeTiphing Hebron

Printed in the Jerusalem Post on 27/1/10: http://goo.gl/Ub7V

The past two weeks witnessed massive attacks aimed at Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon as a result of his "infamous" meeting with Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Oguz Cellikol.
The meeting was purported to be an Israeli diplomatic scolding following airing of a Turkish television show which allegedly portrayed IDF soldiers kidnapping and shooting Arab children. The Turks denied the allegations, retorting that the soldiers in the show were not Israeli.

When the meeting commenced, Ayalon refused to shake the ambassador's hand, Cellikol was seated undiplomatically on a low sofa and the Turkish flag, customarily present as such an event, was missing. If the point wasn't readily understood, Ayalon verbally described the scene to Israeli cameramen present in the office.

What followed, which might have been expected, was a small, virtual war between Turkey and Israel, which led to an Israeli apology.

However, clearly, behind this less than diplomatic rendezvous was more than meets the eye. Only a few weeks ago, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman instructed Israeli diplomats stationed around the world to "stop turning the other cheek." At a heads of missions conference in Jerusalem he declared: "The problem with Israeli diplomacy over the years is that it does not do enough to preserve the honor of the State of Israel. Terms like 'national honor' have value in the Middle East. There is no need to provoke or exaggerate, but there must not be an attitude of obsequiousness and self-deprecation, and the need to always justify the other side. This is a wrong approach."

This is exactly the policy Ayalon represented when meeting with Cellikol. And it had little to do with a television show. For the past year, since Operation Lead Cast, Israel-Turkish relations have hit an all time low. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israel of "inhuman acts" in Gaza and demanded placement of international observers there to prevent Gaza's "self-destruction."

ERDOGAN'S SUGGESTION of "international observers" strikes a raw nerve, especially in Hebron. Turkey is one of six countries participating in the Temporary International Observer Force (TIPH) in Hebron. This organization has been actively operating in Hebron for the past 12 years, since the implementation of the "Hebron Accords" between Yasser Arafat and Israel, which divided Hebron into two, unequal parts.

According to the official TIPH mandate, its major functions include:

• providing a feeling of security to the Palestinians of Hebron with their presence;

• helping to promote stability and an appropriate environment conductive to the enhancement of the well-being of the Palestinians of Hebron and their economic development;

• observing the enhancement of peace and prosperity among Palestinians.

The allegations implicit in this mandate are clear. In spite of the fact that the Palestinian Authority now controls 80 percent of Hebron, its Arabs are "insecure" and their lives are abnormal due to the Israeli presence in the city. TIPH has no obligation to observe Arab instigation or violence against Hebron's Jewish citizens.

Unfortunately, TIPH is far from objective. The organization also partakes in activities outside of the framework of its mandate. Such activities include interference in internal Israeli affairs. For example, following the purchase of Beit Hashalom in Hebron, TIPH head of mission Karl-Henrik Sjursen, in a media release, said: "TIPH urges the IDF to evacuate the settlers from the building to avoid that new facts of the ground are being established... This action of the settlers can be seen by the Palestinians as an unnecessary provocation in an already tense environment. It might have serious consequences for the security situation in the city."

He later added, "The occupation of the house has not only led to increased violence but also further destabilized the situation in Hebron as a whole. In this respect TIPH again urges the Israeli authorities on all levels to take necessary measures to evict the occupants. In the light of the ongoing violence and the continuing violation of both Israeli and international law, we also encourage the Israeli authorities to evict the settlers occupying the house on Patriarchs' Hill with no further delay."

This type of intervention by a foreign body is blatantly negative toward Israel and certainly produces negative impressions in countries around the world, most definitely in the other countries participating in TIPH and the "host countries" - the US and Russia.

IN FEBRUARY 2004, outgoing head of mission Jan Kristensen, in a media interview, accused both Israeli civilians and the IDF of ethnic cleansing in Hebron: "The activity of the settlers and the army in the H-2 area of Hebron is creating an irreversible situation. In a sense, cleansing is being carried out."

One further example of TIPH's bias: On November 12, 2000, Mary Robinson, then chairwoman of the UN Council for Human Rights, visited Hebron. While driving in a TIPH vehicle up the hill to the Tel Rumeida neighborhood, her car was shot at. TIPH later examined evidence concerning the attack and concluded: "TIPH received the results of a ballistic expertise carried out by the Danish police. The expertise showed that the shot was fired from a Kalashnikov AK-47 rifle. Moreover, a reconstruction conducted by TIPH personnel in cooperation with the Danish experts clearly designated the origin of the shot: a house in the H1 area, north of Bab al-Zawiya."

This information was included in the 15th periodic report published by TIPH, but it was not publicized to the public-at-large, leaving many people believing that the attack had been perpetrated by Jewish civilians or IDF personnel serving in Hebron.

The TIPH presence is detrimental, damaging and disadvantageous to the State of Israel. In conducting tours for civilians and diplomats without any Israeli representation, TIPH presents a very one-sided, biased account of Israeli and IDF policies, which only add to the negative propaganda being disseminated internationally.

When Ayalon visited Hebron, in response to a question, he emphasized that the "T" in TIPH stands for temporary, and clarified that the organization's mandate would not be automatically renewed. His spokesman told The Jerusalem Post that it would not be "rubber stamped," as had been practiced in the past. Clearly, the logical continuation of the Lieberman-Ayalon doctrine, preserving Israel's pride against foreign animosity, leads to the conclusion that Israel must end the TIPH mandate in Hebron when the it expires at the end of this month.

My SOLUTION TO BARAK (AND BIBI'S - that's his boss -) CRIMINAL ACTION IN HEVRON TODAY: CALL THEM TO A BETH DIN. IF THEY DON'T SHOW, THEY ARE MESAREV BETH DIN , AND A CHEREM CAN BE PUT ON THEM. NO JEW WILL DEAL WITH THEM UNTIL THEY SHOW.

BARAK PUTS HIS FOOT DOWN, Hevron Road Opens to Arab Traffic

Av 12, 5769, 02 August 09 03:30by Yehudah Lev Kay

(Israelnationalnews.com) The IDF opened the main road in the Jewish section of Hevron to Arab traffic on Sunday. Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the move to ease the lives of Arabs who live in the area, despite warnings from senior security officials that opening the road could lead to a terror attack.

"Today, we started down the road to another terrorist attack, G-d forbid," Hevron resident and parliamentary aide Itamar Ben-Gevir said. "Opening this route is an abandonment of the soldiers and the residents just to gain some positive public relations for [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu and [Defense Minister Ehud] Barak, who continue to prove they are dangerous for the State of Israel."

'Like a cancer'
Hevron spokesman David Wilder explained that opening the road is a success for Arab and left-wing groups who for years have pressured the IDF to relax security measures that managed to maintain the peace in Hevron.

Opening the road blocks / Israel news photo: David Wilder

"Its like a cancer that starts small and then grows," Wilder explained. "First they'll open this road to a small amount of traffic. Then they'll claim that it has been quiet, so the road can be opened to more traffic. I can only hope this won't lead to a disaster."

Wilder was optimistic, however, that many Jews would continue to visit Hevron and the Cave of the Patriarchs. "The nation of Israel has always had a very natural and healthy approach to Hevron. Even during the most difficult times people come. This will hopefully spur more people to come and show their support for a strong Hevron.

The road in question, named the Zion route (Hebrew: Tzir Tzion), leads from Kiryat Arba to the Jewish community in Hevron and passes through the 20 percent of Hevron which is controlled by Israel. The other 80 percent is controlled by the Palestinian Authority, as per the Wye Accords signed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in 1998.

The route was closed to Arab traffic following repeated terrorist attacks along its course, culminating in the massacre of 12 soldiers, Border Police officers and members of the Kiryat Arba security team in November 2002. Hevron Brigade Commander Col. Dror Weinberg was among those killed in that ambush. Earlier this year, however, the IDF announced it would reopen the route to Arabs.

Diskin issued warning
The residents and leaders of the Hevron and Kiryat Arba communities protested, but the Defense Ministry was adamant about the decision. Before the road was opened, however, Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet) Chief Yuval Diskin testified to the Knesset Security and Foreign Affairs Committee that opening the route would be a danger to the Jewish residents of the area.

The plans to open the road were shelved pending further investigation by the Knesset Committee into the question. However, two weeks ago, the Defense Ministry told the Supreme Court it would open the route by the end of July, and on Sunday made good on its promise.

... And just like we asked: WHO IS BIBI working for,

maybe we should ask: WHO IS BARAK WORKING FOR? IS THERE ANYTHING IN HIS HISTORY THAT EXPLAINS TREASONOUS BEHAVIOR, BESIDES HIS INNATE HATRED OF ANYTHING RELIGIOUS, AND HIS INNATE DEVIOUS AND SELFISH PERSONALITY?

Does anybody remember this about Barak? Corruption 101?

He was hired by EDS in order to get juicy government contracts for his company, because he knew the movers and shakers of the US government.IS THERE ANY LEFT OVER PAYOFF DUE???

EDS explains Ehud Barak hiring.

By David Ingham on Thursday, October 11, 2001
Norbert Steiger, EDS’s executive director for the Middle East, Eastern Med and North Africa, today explained EDS’s position over the hiring of Ehud Barak as an adviser.

In an interview this afternoon with ITP.net, Steiger said that the decision was purely commercial and was directly linked to a number of contract bids in the USA.

“EDS is pursuing a number of large deals in the USA, where he [Barak] has personal relationships with key decision makers,” said Steiger.

“It’s not a political statement, it’s a simple business decision for EDS globally. He [Barak] is not involved with anything in the region and has no access whatsoever to internal information.”

The appointment has raised eyebrows in the Middle East and regional leaders took up the issue with Dick Brown, EDS’s chief executive, on his visit to the region yesterday. They were also given the above explanation for the hiring.

"Run of the mill" generalito Barak needs to be appraised about jeopardy.
His immunity to jeopardy when he routinely places in jeopardy or abandons Jews, is quite relative. When the Torah says "an eye for an eye... etc", that applies to all of us. The Lord has ways to reach out and touch anyone of us quite effectively.
Generalito Sharon should serve him as reminder. Others as well.
Anyway...
Our people in Hebron must take extreme care as not only moslems may fire upon them.

Thank you, Barry, for opening my eyes to the despicable people I had met FOR YEARS, and didn't know who they really were - caught on film...

DO MAKE SURE TO VIEW THESE VIDEOS, THEY WILL OPEN  YOUR EYES, THEY CERTAINLY OPENED MINE.... SO VERY SAD AND INFURIATING... I PLACED THEM AS A PERMANENT FIXTURE ON MY BLOG AS A REMINDER OF WHOM WE ARE DEALING WITH....

.... And now I ask you:

What will this same crowd do in Hevron, when the PTB come to EVACUATE REAL JEWS?

Didn't Barak just throw a TRIAL BALLOON today, to see HOW THE COMMUNITY WOULD REACT?

Will they dance, sing, chant, MAKE BIG PRONOUNCEMENTS, PRETEND TO PRAY, PRETEND TO RESIST, while they cooperate secretly with the police, with the army, with the Yassamniks, with the Shabak, with the Border Police, with the TURKISH BEASTS, WITH THE ARAB BEASTS, behind people's backs?

The test is RIGHT NOW. Today, for the first time, the army CLOSED OFF THE HEVRON ROAD TO THE JEWS; What was the Hevron Community's response:

A statement by the community notes the closure of the route to Jews, "while the government takes freedom of movement for Arabs into consideration at the expense of security." The statement adds, "This is a provocative, destructive, hostile and needless step. Jews only have the right to move in three percent of Hevron, and
we won't tolerate additional abuse and new roadblocks in this small area."

Is this more empty talk by people in bed with the police, the Knesset, the Shabak, and therefore the NEW WORLD ORDER?

WHO WILL BE LEADING THE RESISTANCE FOR HEVRON; WILL IT BE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SQUASHED THE RESISTANCE IN GUSH KATIF?

HOW MANY OF THE HEVRON PEOPLE ARE COLLABORATORS WITH THE ENEMY???? TIME WILL TELL, AND THEY WILL BE REVEALED BY THEIR ACTIONS.

DO YOU REALIZE THAT IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS, ARAB VEHICLES HAVE BEEN MOVING FREELY ON ROADS WHERE THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TRAVEL FOR YEARS? DO YOU REALIZE THAT THESE DRIVERS ARE THE SAME DRIVERS WHO DELIBERATELY CRASH INTO JEWS ON THE ROADS , CAUSING DEADLY ACCIDENTS?

DO YOU REALIZE THAT SHIMON PERES, IN COORDINATION WITH OTHER CHARACTERS IN GOVERNMENT, STARTED THE PROJECT OF BUILDING A MEGA BUSINESS CENTER FOR ARABS, ONLY A COUPLE OF KILOMETERS AWAY FROM HERE?

DO YOU REALIZE THAT THE ARABS ARE ABOUT TO ENCIRCLE KIRYAT -ARBA HEVRON, AND I DON'T HEAR A PEEP FROM THE LEADERS HERE AGAINST IT?

DO YOU REALIZE THAT EHUD BARAK PRESENTED HIS SECRET PLAN TO THE US GOVERNMENT AND TOLD THEM NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE SETTLEMENTS?

NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY? HE IS LITTLE BY LITTLE STRANGLING THE COMMUNITY HERE,

- AND WHAT RESISTANCE WILL HE GET, IF GUSH KATIF IS ANY INDICATION? -

BEAUTIFUL SENTENCES, FOR SURE HE WILL GET.

VERBAL PROTESTS FOR SURE HE WILL GET.

BUT WHAT ELSE?

WHAT WILL CHICO'S FRIENDS DO?

WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS ARE THEY TO HIM? WERE THEY FOOLED BY HIM, OR WERE THEY IN ON THE WHOLE CHARADE?

NB, I totally disagree with this depiction of Melech David by Barry, but still, the simile is powerful, as it describes quite well the situation in Israel today.

PROPHETS OR KINGS? by Barry Chamish

There are two religious groups who are under attack by the Israeli government and both, despite their numbers, are marginalized by the terrified oligarchy of the establishment.
The first are the Religious Zionists, known as the settlers and their supporters. Essentially, they won the last national elections but were kept out of the government. These silly people believe that by voting, they will be represented. They actually believe in the Knesset and the army, their very worst enemies.
Group two are the Hareidim, or the ultra-orthodox. They despise the Knesset, disdain its authority, rarely serve in the army and are currently turning the country upside down with their constant mass demonstrations over pretty silly issues.
They appear united by their deep faith in Judaism, but in fact, couldn't be farther apart. One believes in the state, the other doesn't. One believes in kings, the other, in prophets.
To help explain the difference, I will quote from Bruce Feiler's book, Where God Was Born (Morrow, 2005).

KINGS:

57 - King David's portrait reads more like that of a tin-pot dictator than of a humble servant of God building the family of a future messiah. He's a cross between Attila the Hun and Genghis Khan.

59 - David, in the formative period of his character, is a man who will use violence, deceit, charm, and murder to gather political power around him.

74 - Unlike Abraham, Moses or any number of biblical figures I might wish to be like, David is repugnant. I don't want to be like him, I want to flee from him.

89 - David was an experiment. The people wanted to wrest control from God and invest it in a secular leader. That David turns out to be so flawed suggests that God wants us to accept the limitations of political leadership and return to our special allegiance with him...To achieve that, the children of Israel must generate a national identity grounded not in the behavior of their leaders but in the conduct of their people.

The Jewish Zionists are so dedicated to their blind patriotism to the state of Israel, that they produce the very traitors from within their numbers who wreck their enterprise. That is how they lost their communities in Gush Katif. Watch the next clip with interest:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H27TUyXm8HQ&feature=PlayList&p=158435502B0D6AAA&index=0&playnext=1

And then recall that I wrote the exact story four years ago in my book Bye Bye Gaza.

http://www.lulu.com/content/575116

Their belief in kings keeps them loyal to the state and will continue to do so until they dissolve in betrayal.
The hareidim, on the other hand, show their allegiance to the prophets and a very different anti-establishment faith:

PROPHETS:

131 - The most famous prophets arise in direct response to the decline in moral authority of the kings...They share hostility to wealth, iniquity and might. "The nations are but a drop in a bucket," Isaiah proclaims, downplaying the idea of an Israelite state that David, Solomon and others spent centuries trying to achieve.

121 - The experiment in investing God's authority with earthly rulers has come up short. So God shifts his favor toward a new kind of partner, one who won't husband his authority into brutal leadership. He won't embody the state, he will speak for the people. We may not be able to name the kings. But we can name the prophets.

122 - In elevating the prophets, the Bible speaks directly to the challenges of our time. God believes that secular leaders cannot provide moral deliverance. The heroes are the ones who look critically at power and keep their gaze on the moral foundation of life on earth.

The issues that have brought them to the streets en masse of late are seemingly too trivial for any state to have to deal with; a parking lot open on the sabbath in Jerusalem or a mother separated from her daughter by the child welfare services. For their view on why these trivialities are worth challenging the police over, look at their explanations:

http://mysticalpaths.blogspot.com/

http://www.vosizneias.com/35114/2009/07/16/meah-shearim-neighbor-of-alleged-child-abuser-mom-not-mentally-ill/#comments

When I began to analyze the reasons for the violent outbreaks, I started with known causes; their chosen separateness from the rest of humanity, including Jews, their history of Zionism taking their real estate from them by decree and force, their abandonment by the Zionists during the Holocaust and most of all, their reduction to common starvation. With child allowance and study benefits deprived from them in recent years, their lifestyle is maintained by ever increasingly futile begging. Even the government admits that 31% of Israelis are malnourished, largely because of the hareidim. When you can't afford to give your kid even a jam sandwich, you riot over nothing.

But the core reason for their civil unrest is the prophets of yore. They derive their daily inspiration from them and they did not trust Israel's leaders. The Jewish Religious Zionists do, and look where it's getting them.

end

IDF Plans to Evict Jews from Outposts in One Day

Reported: 08:40 AM - Jul/21/09

(IsraelNN.com) The IDF is prepared for the possibility of forcibly evicting Jews in one day from 23 expanded communities within Judea and Samaria, the Israeli daily Haaretz reports. According to the report, the plan was conceived by the defense system with the knowledge of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Last week, a large-scale exercise of security forces took place. The joint exercise included border police, police forces, and IDF soldiers in order to simulate evicting Jews from the expanded communities.

IDF Sources Deny Report of Simultaneous Eviction

Reported: 09:25 AM - Jul/21/09

(IsraelNN.com) Sources in the Israel Defense Forces claimed on Tuesday that they don't know about a plan reported in Haaretz for the simultaneous forcible eviction of 1,200 Jews from 23 communities within Judea and Samaria that the United States wants uprooted.

The report followed a large-scale eviction simulation involving soldiers, border police, and police forces. According to the Haaretz report, the program is being conducted in coordination with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. While the military is keeping quiet about the timing of such an operation, it is believed that it would be carried out either this Saturday night or next, immediately following the end of Shabbat, based on past experience.

Israel to evacuate all outposts in a day: report

Reuters
Tuesday, July 21, 2009 3:07 AM

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel plans to remove in a single day all 23 unauthorized settler outposts slated for evacuation in the occupied West Bank, a move that would meet a long-standing pledge to Washington, a newspaper said on Tuesday.

The report in Haaretz gave no date for removing the outposts, where some of the most militant settlers in the West Bank live, but said the military held an exercise last week to prepare for their evacuation.

Haaretz, a left-leaning newspaper, said the military was preparing to "forcibly evacuate 23 illegal outposts in one day. The plan was formulated by the security establishment, with the knowledge of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."

Israel has come under increasing diplomatic pressure from its main U.S. ally to halt all settlement building in the West Bank to spur peace efforts with the Palestinians.

Netanyahu has so far refused to commit to a total freeze, in the most serious rift between Israel and the United States, its main ally, in a decade.

In May, Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai said the removal of the outposts, often a cluster of caravans on isolated hilltops built without government authorization, had become a "central issue" for the Netanyahu's administration.

"The report sounds totally illusionary," said settler leader Pinhas Wallerstein. But he told Army Radio that settlers could be "partners to painful agreements, although not as a result of American pressure."

COMMITMENT

The Defense Ministry says it will not reveal the locations of all the outposts to maintain an element of surprise but they include those built after March 2001, a group that Israel committed to remove during the administration of former U.S. president George W. Bush.

The evacuation is expected to be met with resistance from the settlers. Wallerstein said that some 8,000 people live at the outposts.

On Monday, Israeli settlers on horseback set fire to at least 1,500 Palestinian-owned olive trees in the West Bank and others stoned cars, a Palestinian security official said.

Israeli media reports said the rampage was a response by settlers to the army's destruction hours earlier of a caravan at a settlement outpost.

The Haaretz report was written by one of its most respected columnists, Yoel Marcus, who was also the first to disclose the plans of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to withdraw soldiers and settlers from the Gaza Strip, a plan that came to fruition in 2005.

DS: comments; AGAIN, DURING THE NINE DAYS - IF TRUE - AND BY JEWS;

WHAT THEY CALL OUTPOSTS COMPRISES A POPULATION OF 8000 PEOPLE, WHICH IS A HUGE NUMBER, EVEN LARGER THAN THE EVACUATION FROM GUSH KATIF.

AND AGAIN, PINCHAS WALLERSTEIN APPEARS PROMINENTLY. REMEMBER, WALLERSTEIN IS A FIRST CLASS TRAITOR, just watch the videos MERAGLIM, which appear on the sidebar, and you will see his role in the Gush Katif evacuations...

"Netanyahu's spokesmen would neither confirm or deny he had asked Pinchas Wallerstein, 60, director-general of the settlers' YESHA council, to serve as the prime minister's adviser on settlement affairs, Reuters said.

Aliza Herbst, a YESHA spokeswoman, said Wallerstein "has definitely been offered the job," and has been filling out forms for a vetting process by Israel's attorney-general, and that it wasn't clear how long that may take."

It seems that the more he betrays Jews, the higher he gets in the government, ISN'T THIS THE WAY IT WENT FOR MANY, MANY PEOPLE WITH CUSHY JOBS IN ISRAEL?

IS THIS THE ULTIMATE ANTISEMITIC MANIFESTATION OF THIS UNJEWISH GOVERNMENT; CYNICALLY PARTICIPATING IN EVICTIONS OF JEWS FROM ERETZ YISRAEL DURING THIS PAINFUL PERIOD OF THE NINE DAYS UNTIL TISHA BE'AV?

IF TRUE, WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS DECISION SHOULD BE PROSECUTED IN A TORAH BETH DIN FOR CRIMES AGAINST THE JEWISH PEOPLE, FOR RACISM, AND FOR HATE CRIMES. WOULD THEY DARE TOUCH A MUSLIM DURING THE RAMADAN?

Hevron Jews Slam Closing of Access to Patriarchs' Cave

Reported: 19:21 PM - Jul/20/09

(IsraelNN.com) Jewish residents of Hevron protested Monday against the closing of the lone route from the city's Jewish neighborhoods to the Maarat Hamachpelah Cave of the Patriarchs. The road was closed because Monday was one of the days that the structure was closed to Jews under decisions of the Shamgar Commission, which makes the structure off limits to Muslims at other times of the year.

A statement by the community notes the closure of the route to Jews, "while the government takes freedom of movement for Arabs into consideration at the expense of security." The statement adds, "This is a provocative, destructive, hostile and needless step. Jews only have the right to move in three percent of Hevron, and we won't tolerate additional abuse and new roadblocks in this small area."
