It is worthwhile to read all the information here, as your eyes will open even more. It is long; patience. Get educated.
First, a few responses to the question, as to why Carolyn Glick wrote what she wrote:
and bill said:
The Commies did it to Pius. Glick is an idiot or used.
DS asked nik:
I think more than anything she is an idiot. She has a warped understanding of history and the church.
I sent her my article she didn't respond; now I understand why: her views are opposed to mine.
But what would SHE have to gain from protecting the pope, unless she has been instructed by Netanyahu to come to his defense? What's your guess? Where is SHE in all of this? Usually she is pretty smart, but this is plain DUMB, shows a total lack of understanding.
just proves she's part of the slime... nothing new... same old story... nik.
DS: So this is what I uncovered. Follow me, please.
She works for the Jerusalem Post, and there is no doubt that that newspaper is protecting the pope. The JP has proven this past month, without the shadow of a doubt , where it stands: no different from Ynet; both sites are a disgrace to the Jewish people, and it is time that Jews stopped buying those newspapers once and for all. The Jerusalem Post and Ynet both work for the "other side".
I did a little bit or research to see who owns the newspaper, as that usually sheds light on the general orientation. I found out something quite surprising:
Mirkaei Tikshoret BOUGHT the Jerusalem Post in November 2004, and is in the hands of Eli Azur since June 2006,
The owner now is ELI AZUR, Israeli businessman,
Read the whole article, it is worth it, it will show you the true face of the J.P.!
Asper's media fortune was built on a politically driven brand of journalism. The newspapers owned by the Winnipeg-based CanWest, including Canada's National Post, are famous for reflecting the Asper family's rightwing pro-Zionist views. In an effort to extend the family's influence, CanWest made a failed bid to acquire The Jerusalem Post in 2000, when Asper's father, Izi, was still alive. The arbitrator said that Leonard Asper wanted to make another bid to fulfill his father's dream of owning a business in Israel.
Azur, on the other hand, is famous for keeping his beliefs to himself. He has focused on such profitable media ventures as talk radio stations and Russian-language newspapers. One of the primary points drawing Azur to the Post was not the newspaper's history but its hefty debt, which his associates had calculated as a tax benefit for other profit-making ventures in Israel. In the court documents, it emerged that one of Azur's chief concerns with Asper was the "extreme rightwing views" of the Asper family, which Azur feared might hurt the Post....In addition to the unexpected financial problems, Azur was humiliated to learn that Asper had been looking into his criminal history...
..the arbitrator decided that Azur and Asper had left too many questions open to have a binding deal. Azur had paid for the paper, and the arbitrator decided he could do with it as he chose.
"There are different attitudes and world views between the two groups. Since the chasm cannot be bridged, it is unclear why CanWest, through its campaign of slander, wants to be a partner of Mirkaei Tikshoret."
After the deal was signed, sources claimed that Azur wanted sole control of "The Jerusalem Post" out of concern that CanWest would continue the paper's right-wing editorial policy. Now that Azur knows how much the newspaper and its premises are worth, estimated at $7 million, it cannot be ruled out that he realized the deal was even more worthwhile without the Canadians.
Arbitrator Issues Decision in Jerusalem Post Dispute
WINNIPEG, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The arbitrator in New York has released his decision in a dispute between CanWest Global Communications Corp. and Eli Azur, an Israeli businessman who does business under the name Mirkaei Tikshoret Group ("MTG"). In his decision, the arbitrator denied CanWest's claims that it be entitled to acquire a 50% interest in The Jerusalem Post. CanWest had asserted that Azur breached his obligations under an agreement to jointly acquire The Jerusalem Post and related media businesses. Azur had argued in defense that the parties had never reached a binding agreement.
The arbitrator found that the parties had entered into a binding agreement to negotiate in good faith to reach agreement on a joint venture to acquire The Jerusalem Post and other media businesses owned and operated by the Palestine Post Limited. The arbitrator further found that Mr. Azur refused to reaffirm the parties' agreement that CanWest and MTG would each own a 50% interest in the newspaper. However he concluded that this did not constitute a breach of the agreement.
In commenting on the decision, Leonard Asper, President and Chief Executive Officer of CanWest stated, "CanWest is extremely disappointed in the arbitrator's decision. We find it very difficult to reconcile the apparent inconsistency in the arbitrator's findings. On one hand, he found that MTG refused to accept the fundamental tenet of the agreement which provided for the parties to each own an equal interest in the newspaper but somehow concluded that this did not constitute a breach of the agreement to negotiate with us in good faith."
CanWest is reviewing the decision and considering its options.

Who was the arbitrator? I could not find out. But there was some dirty hanky-panky going on there, between the former media adviser of Bibi Netanyahu, appointed publisher of the JP, control wrested away from a right- wing owner illegally it seems, although the arbiter was in New -York, but we don't know who he or she is, don't know his political leanings. Also, Azur's alleged criminal past.... this sounds to me like one of those dirty political deals. We don't know WHO put pressure on the arbitrator in NY, it could have been somebody from the CFR, who knows.....
Moreover there appears to be collusion on some level between the various media. Read the report below.

Joining the incumbent Israeli, published by the businessman Shlomo Ben Tzvi, will be publications from American billionaire Sheldon Adelson; a joint team of Eli Azur, the owner of The Jerusalem Post, and Dudi Weissman, owner of Blue Square supermarket chain and the Dor Alon energy group; and Arnon Mozes, the publisher of Yediot Aharonot, Israel's largest daily newspaper.
I tried to find photos of this mysterious Eli Azur: none: who IS he?? CEO OF M.T.L., owner of the J.P.
Couldn't find a single photo of him.
Now look at this:
The Toronto daily The Globe and Mail reports that Aviv Bushinky, a media advisor to Benjamin Netanyahu when he was prime minister who was appointed publisher of The Jerusalem Post by both parties, told the newspaper's staff that its printing plant, business and administration offices would be moved to Tel Aviv, and the newspaper's building site sold. He said that The Jerusalem Post editorial offices would remain in Jerusalem.
It is interesting that once Avi Bushinsky , media advisor of Bibi, was appointed publisher, the paper ended up in the HANDS OF THE LEFTIST OWNER AZUR , as opposed to the Zionist, Canadian, right-wing Asper.
WHO IS AVIV BUSHINKSY, PUBLISHER OF THE JERUSALEM POST?
The writer served as Benjamin Netanyahu's media adviser at the Prime Minister's Office and his bureau chief at the Finance Ministry.
NOW<,NOW, NOW, but look what BARRY HAD TO SAY ABOUT AVIV BUSHINSKY?
COULD IT BE THAT SHIMON PERES BOUGHT HIS SILENCE BY MAKING HIM EDITOR OF THE JERUSALEM POST?
WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN SHIMON PERES AND AVIV BUSHINSKY? SOMETHING VERY, VERY DIRTY SEEMS TO BE GOING ON HERE.
WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN SHIMON PERES AND BIBI NETANYAHU?
WHERE DOES AVIV BUSHINSKY AND THE JERUSALEM POST FIT IN ALL OF THIS?
IS THERE COLLUSION BETWEEN SHIMON PERES, BIBI NETANYAHU, AVIV BUSHINSKY, AND THE JERUSALEM POST?
IS THAT WHY THE JERUSALEM POST REFUSES TO PRINT ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY CRITICAL OF THE POPE?
REMEMBER THAT PERES WORKS FOR THE VATICAN. SO IT APPEARS THAT THE VATICAN MIGHT HAVE "BOUGHT OUT " THE JERUSALEM POST, I.E. PUBLIC OPINION, BY INSTALLING AVIV BUSHINSKY AS ITS EDITOR.
AND CAROLYN GLICK DRAWS AT LEAST PART OF HER SALARY FROM THE JERUSALEM POST.
YOU DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS.
The media are all coordinated in Israel, whether in Hebrew or in English, and they all spew out the same politically correct, left-wing, Chillul Hashem nonsense. That includes, of course, the Jerusalem Post, which comes from the same putrid source,as well as Ynet, see above.
PROTECT SHIMON PERES, PROTECT THE POPE AT ALL COSTS!
