IDF Soldier Was Killed by Bullet from Commander's Gun
(IsraelNN.com) The IDF completed an investigation into the death of soldier Noam Levi who was killed last Thursday during an Arab riot north of Ramallah. Major General Gadi Shamni, who headed the investigation, concluded that Levi was killed when his commander's gun accidentally discharged as he struggled with an Arab.
The incident occurred when dozens of Arabs attacked the IDF force. The soldiers opened fire several times during the incident and arrested a number of the rioters. General Shamni decided to dismiss the commander from duty and reprimand the officer who was in charge of the IDF force which Levi was a part of.
