| Peace Now director-general on rabbi's comments: Pure racism Yariv Oppenheimer, Peace Now director-general, reacted to a Ynet article in which Rabbi Dov Lior said that Jews should not employ Arabs or rent them housing.
According to Oppenheimer, "his comments are pure racism that don't have a place in the State of Israel. The Attorney General must investigate the rabbi on suspicion of incitement to racism. Ironically, the week in which the German chancellor pays Israel a visit Israeli society's ugly face was unveiled by the extreme right. (Efrat Weiss)
