Ben-Eliezer: Abbas, Fayyad 'Good Men'
(IsraelNN.com) Minister of National Infrastructure Binyamin (Fouad) Ben-Eliezer praised Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and PA "Prime Minister" Salam Fayyad as "good men" in a press conference given on Tuesday. Despite his praise for Abbas and Fayyad, Ben-Eliezer repeated his calls to release arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti, who Ben-Eliezer argues would provide a strong national leader for PA Arabs.
Ben-Eliezer called to make life easier for Arabs in Judea and Samaria by removing roadblocks and increasing economic opportunities. At the same time, he warned that Israel would soon be attacked by rockets launched from Judea and Samaria. "We're going to start getting rockets in Ramle, this is a process that you can already foresee," he said.
