REASONS TO BRING OLMERT TO TRIAL FOR TREASON - excellent article. Thank you, E. Winston!
Recently Israeli Intelligence discovered that Syria, with assistance from North Korea, was building a plutonium nuclear reactor. Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was confronted with the evidence but, delayed a response as long as possible.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the CIA were presented with irrefutable evidence but, she used her power of office to delay Israel from eliminating the Syrian/Korean reactor, lest it spoil her sophomoric plans for peace in a region that has never known peace.
Despite the immediate danger to Israel and the region, Rice pressured a weak Olmert NOT to respond and to save an empty legacy for herself and President George W. Bush.
Israel submitted evidence to the CIA, Bush and some Congressmen. The evidence was so overwhelming that Rice had to withdraw her childish plans for Israeli "restraint" even as she was protecting the Bush failed deal with North Korea - in addition to the under-the-table talks with President Bashar Assad of Syria. Rice is an untrustworthy, dangerous liar through and through. But, there is a greater betrayal than merely a lying U.S. Secretary of State or a President hungry for recognition. It is the Prime Minister of the small State of Israel who has been thoroughly briefed on the hostile State of Syria building a plutonium-yielding nuclear reactor. Olmert's own generals had to force him to allow them to plan and carry out an attack to destroy the Syrian plant. After the Israeli Air Force completed its mission, Olmert and America dropped into total silence. The "secret" was miraculously NOT breached or breathed by any official or media source for the past 8 months.
We now know that Olmert was in back-channel discussions to surrender to Syria the entire Golan Heights. These discussions continued by Olmert, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Tzippi Livni in a greater frenzy, knowing that Syria was building a Plutonium Nuclear Reactor for no other reason than to destroy Israel.
Olmert and his gang were hell-bent on assisting Syria recover the Golan, even at the almost certain risk of having Syria renege on any agreement reached. Olmert, Barak, Livni and the entire Kadima and Labor Parties have betrayed Israel's vital security to the greatest degree possible.
At this very moment CIA Director Michael V. Hayden is briefing the American Congress on the perfidy of the North Koreans as Rice and Bush try to pretend that North Korea is living up to the terms of a badly flawed and failed agreement. While the U.S. can be harmed if such nuclear capability reaches Syria as well as other Muslim and Arab States who are rapidly becoming more Islamo-Fascist, the U.S. will not disappear in a radioactive cloud as could the minuscule Jewish State of Israel.
Olmert, Barak, Livni and, no doubt, Shimon Peres seem to be prepared to sacrifice Israel for a mess of potage.
If ever a Government should be tried for Treason, it is now. Knowing Syria's intent and then announcing that he (Olmert) was working to abandon the Golan Heights, Israel's largest water resource, Israel's security and sovereignty, is surely an act of betrayal and treason of the worst kind.
This could be considered a "hanging offense" and such a trial should be implemented before any more damage can be done or any more Israeli blood spilled.

JERUSALEM – Three U.S. military vehicles seized by Hamas and used to carry out a large-scale attack this past weekend cost American taxpayers an estimated $350,000, Palestinian security officials estimated.
The vehicles, utilized in an attack against the Israeli border, were captured when Hamas last June took complete control of the Gaza Strip, overtaking all U.S.-backed security compounds in the territory associated with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party. The U.S., over the years, provided Fatah with weapons, vehicles and large sums of financial and military aid.
Israeli defense officials called last weekend's border attack the largest, most sophisticated Hamas terrorist operation since Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.
"We utilized two American armored Jeep vehicles in the heroic operation at Kerem Shalom," said Abu Abdullah, considered one of the most important operational members of Hamas' so-called military wing. "We obtained the vehicles last June."
Abu Abdullah told WND today a third military Jeep was to be used in the attack but was intercepted by an Israeli missile.
Palestinian security officials said the three Jeeps were provided by the U.S. to Fatah in February 2007. They estimated the vehicles to be worth $350,000.
Muhammad Abdel-Al, the spokesman and a leader of the Hamas-allied Popular Resistance Committees terrorist organization which participated in last weekend's attack, confirmed American vehicles were utilized.
Abdel-Al stated today, "We warned in many interviews with WorldNetDaily the weapons America provided to Fatah would find [their] way to the resistance, and we are glad for this American help. The same scenario will soon take place in the West Bank (where the U.S. is currently arming Fatah)."
In Saturday's attack, which took place just hours after the Jewish state ushered in the Passover holiday, two explosive-laden vehicles disguised as Israeli military jeeps blew up at the Kerem Shalom crossing, the main Israeli transport point for goods and humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Thirteen Israel Defense Forces soldiers were hurt in the attack – most wounded lightly to moderately.
The two vehicles arrived at Kerem Shalom under the cover of dozens of mortar shells just after a third armored vehicle ripped a hole in the border fence. The two disguised vehicles exploded inside the crossing, one reportedly close to a group of soldiers.
The drivers of all three vehicles were killed when their cars exploded.
At roughly the same time as the Kerem Shalom attack, the Israel Defense Forces fired a missile at a truck approaching Kissufim, another border area previously used to cross into Gaza. The missile caused a massive explosion, indicating the truck was carrying a large amount of explosives defense sources believe were to be used in a second, simultaneous border attack at Kissufim.
At nearly the same time along another area of the border, IDF soldiers spotted two Palestinians carrying explosives approaching the border fence just outside Kibbutz Be'eri, a Jewish town bordering Gaza. An IDF force of 11 soldiers entered Gaza in pursuit of the terrorists only to quickly realize they were being ambushed in an apparent Hamas trap. Four Hamas snipers fired at the unit, killing three IDF soldiers.
Defense officials here believe Hamas attempted a major, coordinated attack at several points along Israel's Gaza border.
Yoav Galant, IDF commander in the Gaza area, called the offensive Hamas' boldest operation since Israel's Gaza retreat.
He said the attack, "the likes of which we have not seen since the disengagement," was an attempt "to execute mass killings and abductions."
Galant told reporters Hamas was "harming the interest of the Palestinians themselves, by attacking crossings, which are the humanitarian lifelines of Gaza."
Former Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh said the attack revealed "the true face of Hamas, which is [itself] creating the blockade on Gaza's people."
But back in Gaza City, Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said his terror group would carry out more attacks on crossings to break what he claimed was an Israeli blockade of the territory.
"These operations are the beginning of the explosions that Hamas has warned of," said Abu Zuhri. "If the parties don't intervene quickly to save Gaza and break the siege, what is coming will be greater."
WND previously reported Hamas obtained armored U.S. military jeeps.
Immediately after Hamas staged its coup and took over Gaza, WND quoted Hamas officials stating they seized "enormous" stockpiles of foreign weapons, including U.S. arms, that had been stored in Fatah security compounds.
The U.S. in recent years reportedly transferred large quantities of weaponry to build up Fatah forces against rival Hamas. Hamas officials told WND in multiple interviews prior to last June they would seize the American weapons.
Hamas last summer provided WND with a partial list of what the terror group said were seized weapons. The list included:
- "Dozens" of mounted machine guns that can fire at Israeli helicopters
- Approximately 7,400 American M-16 assault rifles
- About 800,000 rounds of bullets
- Eighteen armored personnel carriers
- Seven armored military jeeps
- "Tens" of armored civilian cars, including pickup trucks and magnums
- Eight massive trucks equipped with water cannons for dispersing protests
- Fourteen military-sized bulldozers

U.S. Says Retired Engineer, 83, Spied for Israel
(IsraelNN.com) U.S. authorities announced on Tuesday that an 83-year-old retired American engineer, Ben Ami Kadish, is suspected of passing military secrets to Israel between 1979 and 1985. These secrets are said to have involved nuclear weapons, fighter jets and the Patriot air defense missiles.
U.S. government sources said Kadish's Israeli handler, Yossi Yagur, was the same man who handled Jonathan Pollard, who has been languishing in U.S. jails for 23 years. After Pollard, a former naval analyst, was arrested on suspicion of spying for Israel, the handler left the United States and Kadish went underground, the sources said.
Agent for the Government of Israel
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and two FBI agents, in conjunction with the U.S. Army, announced Kadish was being held on charges that he participated in a conspiracy to disclose to the Government of Israel documents related to the national defense of the United States and, in connection with that unauthorized disclosure, that he participated in a conspiracy to act as an agent of the Government of Israel.
According to the charge sheet, Kadish, a citizen of the United States and a mechanical engineer living in Monroe county, NJ, was employed at the U.S. Army´s Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center at the Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey from 1979 to 1985. The Arsenal kept a library of documents with classified information related to the national defense of the United States.
On numerous occasions during this time period, Kadish borrowed classified documents from the library and took them to his residence in New Jersey. At the Residence, Kadish would then provide the documents to Yossi Yagur, the Consul for Science Affairs at the Israeli Consulate General in Manhattan,who would photograph them in the basement of the residence.
Charged with four counts
One of the classified documents that Kadish provided to Yagur contained information concerning nuclear weaponry and was classified as "Restricted Data," a specific designation by the U.S. Department of Energy, because the document contained atomic-related information. Another one of the documents that Kadish provided contained information concerning a modified version of an F-15 fighter jet that the United States had sold to another country. This document was classified by the Department of Defense as "secret" and was further restricted as "Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals."
Kadish is charged with one count of conspiring to disclose documents related to the national defense of the United States to the Government of Israel; one count of conspiring to act as an agent of the Government of Israel; one count of conspiring to hinder a communication to a law enforcement officer; and one count of conspiring to make a materially false statement to a law enforcement officer.
Kadish was scheduled to appear Tuesday afternoon before United States Magistrate Judge Douglas F. Eaton in Manhattan federal court. The prosecution is being handled by the U.S. Attorney´s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Counterespionage Section of the Justice Department´s National Security Division.

U.S. Court Bans Chicken and Fish Snacks for Passover
(IsraelNN.com) A federal judge in Connecticut ruled that Jewish inmates can get by on Passover with matzo and other snacks and without fish or chicken for the Passover holiday. The court's judge, Janet C. Hall, said that the inmates' constitutional rights do not cover the banned items because they might be used for "illicit bartering" with other prisoners.
Judge Janet Hall ruled in favor of the prison, which allows its 16 Jewish inmates to spend up to $290 on kosher for Passover snacks, including matzo, grape juice, macaroons and two types of chocolate. They will be served three hot kosher meals for the entire holiday which lasts for eight days outside Israel, where Passover is observed for seven days.

A Catholic Wind in the White House
Thank you, Carl. This must be one of the most interesting articles I have received in a long time. I'd say it is not surprising at all. After all, his grandfather Prescott Bush supported the Nazis, who were the direct expression of Catholic theology and teachings. I have been searching the internet for the prayer to say upon eating bread on Pessah, and I found it by Googling "zachor Michlalah movies." There you can see/hear the late Reb Yonah Emanuel who was a teenage inmate in Bergen-Belsen during the Passover of 1944 when the prayer over bread was recited. He reads the entire prayer (it is not a bracha) over bread and describes Pessah in that death camp in this 3 minute segment of a longer DVD. The reason for my search: The recent controversy over selling hametz in the public square during Passover in Israel.
I translated the prayer for bread during Passover into English at the end of this posting.
The controversy and court decision (by a national religious judge!) that permits selling bread in Israel during Passover reminded me of two Seder meals sixty-something years ago.
Passover 1943, Konin Concentration Camp
Before describing Pessah of 1943 in the Konin concentration camp in Poland, Rabbi Yehoshua Aronson gives us, in his memoirs, this startling description of a new arrival, one Dr. Hans Knopf.
"In the summer of 1942 a limousine came into camp. Several SS officers stepped out, followed by a serious and grandly dressed old Jewish man. The chauffeur unloaded six leather suitcases, each bearing a label with its owner's name. As we observed this impeccably dressed Jewish gentleman with his six expensive leather suitcases in a Jewish slave-labor camp, we went into a fever of curiosity. We strained to observe this heartening phenomenon that burst into our benighted camp."
This description of Dr. Knopf, along with large portions of Rabbi Aronson's memoir, are now available in English in Esther Farbstein's Hidden in Thunder: Perspectives on Faith, Halachah, and Leadership during the Holocaust.
She points out that the memoir describes the special status of this Jewish doctor from Germany with telling details such as his having his own room-cum-clinic, and his owning fine silk pajamas.
"He was given a room that, as a German patriot, he decorated with photographs of himself on horseback and medals from his glittering military past as an officer in World War I. Sometimes he would dandify himself by putting on his officer's uniform. Knopf treated the Jews with condescension and estrangement, ashamed to come into contact with fellow Jews."
Slowly, however, he began to realize the connection between the Jews' fate and his own. The memoir describes the transformation wrought in this assimilated Jew, for by the time Passover rolled around in the spring of 1943, Dr. Knopf was deeply involved in seder preparations. "The German-Jewish doctor of all people insisted we hold the seder despite our fatigue and the late hour."
Perhaps it was contact with deeply rooted scholars such as Rabbi Aronson, that triggered this metamorphosis. "When he discovered that I was a rabbi, Knopf never stopped pestering me; he would often pour out his heart to me. He told me how devoted he had been, how he had served and fought for the German homeland. As I observed this disillusioned Jew, I became heartsick." Rabbi Aronson survived to write his memoirs and to become the beloved chief rabbi of Petah Tikva,
Many inmates came to Rabbi Aronson with the dilemma: to eat hametz or not? Realizing that most were too weak to last a week without bread, Rabbi Aronson responded with guidelines. Hametz was to be eaten on Pessah, but in order to minimize the transgression involved he ruled that each bite should be less than kzayis, "the volume of an olive" and the bites should be spaced at long intervals. Esther Farbstein points out that the desire to ask halachic questions was a form of spiritual resistance and heroism for two reasons. It reflected a cherishing of mitzvot as a raison d'etre which kept many Jews going and it was a form of defiance, their way to assert freedom in a slave-labor camp.
Back to our dandified Dr. Knopf who when he had arrived kept the other Jews at arms' length. Here he was, ten months later deeply involved in preparations for the seder. His turnabout is poignantly expressed in one of the most moving descriptions in the Aronson memoir. Where would they find the means to bake the matza? Knopf had a stove in his clinic/room. He risked his life and insisted they bake the little bit of dough that they sequestered in his very room. They were not found out, and held a seder that year, although the doctor did not survive in the long run.
However Rabbi Aronson did survive. He went on to become the beloved chief rabbi of Petah Tikva, and to write his memoir immortalizing Dr. Hans Knopf who risked all to bake matza.
Passover Bergen-Belsen, 1944
By 1944 there was no question that Jews must eat hametz to stay alive. Rabbi Avraham Levisson from Holland dealt with this issue in Bergen-Belsen. Esther Farbstein points out that he had been active from the start of the war in finding solutions to tragic dilemmas as the Dutch Jews were concentrated in Westerbork, Holland from 1939 onwards ( he encouraged inmates to give their wives a conditional get, lest they become agunas). Beginning in 1942 each Tuesday a selection was made of Jews who were transported by train to death camps such as Auschwitz and elsewhere. "Rabbi Levisson was known to the inmates as 'Rabbi Simcha' ('Rabbi Happiness') because of his warm, positive attitude toward them. He organized extensive religious activity. In 1943 he was deported via Westerbork to Bergen-Belsen." In 1944 Rabbi Levisson and his father, along with the Chief Rabbi of Rotterdam Rav A.B. Davids and a number of Jews surreptitiously gathered in one barrack to quietly hold a seder.
Man cannot live on potatoes alone. The Dutch rabbis, seeing the Jews could not survive without eating bread on Pessah, composed a prayer to recite upon eating hametz during Passover.
You can see/hear Yonah Emanuel, one of those present in the camp, read this prayer and explain the circumstances in a segment from the DVD „V'Hi She-Amda" about Pesach during the Holocaust, produced by Zachor After the prayer was composed, other inmates wanted copies. Since there were no Xerox machines, typewriters, or carbon paper in the camp, Yonah's older brother Elhanan Emanuel, hy"d, copied it again and again by hand in the concentration camp after his twelve-hour shifts of slave labor. Rabbi Levisson himself gave the few potatoes he saved for Passover to his own father, who was even weaker than he was.
This week I spoke with Rabbi Levisson's daughter, who now lives in a religious neighborhood of Ashdod, to get the background details behind the prayer. She had been hidden as a baby with a Christian family in Holland. She explains that her father died of exhaustion on April 25,1945, on a train shortly before the train was liberated by the Soviets. Her family and many others recite the prayer over hametz on Passover at the seder each year, immortalizing the spiritual heroism that it represents. This week every radio talk show in Israel and every newpaper discussed the "hametz" law. I was surprised no one made a point that I often make when there is a charge of religious coercion: In Switzerland it is against the law to wash your car or hang laundry on Sunday. You get fined! But how come no one calls that 'religious coercion" ?

The judge (national religious Jew, daughter of Prof. Bar-Asher who won the Israel prize for linguistics) pinned her decision on the interpretation of the word „farhesia" - what is public versus private space.

None of this has anything to do with either polygamy or children. This is all part of the process of getting the American public used to the idea of a military style of police and the existence of internal enemies. The Mormons have always been hated by the American Christians and are an easy target to practice on. The public reaction to this is no doubt being closely monitored to see if there is enough indifference to go after more difficult groups, like us.

The British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has asked the Israel Tourism Ministry office in the UK to remove an advertisement featuring a photo of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
The photo appeared under the heading: "It takes six hours to cross Israel. Imagine what you can experience in seven days."
The ASA claimed the advertisement misleads the reader into thinking that Qumran is located within pre-1967 Israel, while it is actually located in the administered territories.
A senior Israeli tourism official noted: "Representatives of the Palestinian Tourism Ministry feature a map of Palestine which shows all of Israel's regions, including Ben-Gurion Airport, as Palestine's major airport, but the British never complained abut that."

LIMA (Reuters) - As wheat and rice prices surge, the humble potato -- long derided as a boring tuber prone to making you fat -- is being rediscovered as a nutritious crop that could cheaply feed an increasingly hungry world.
Potatoes, which are native to Peru, can be grown at almost any elevation or climate: from the barren, frigid slopes of the Andes Mountains to the tropical flatlands of Asia. They require very little water, mature in as little as 50 days, and can yield between two and four times more food per hectare than wheat or rice.
"The shocks to the food supply are very real and that means we could potentially be moving into a reality where there is not enough food to feed the world," said Pamela Anderson, director of the International Potato Center in Lima (CIP), a non-profit scientific group researching the potato family to promote food security.
Like others, she says the potato is part of the solution.
The potato has potential as an antidote to hunger caused by higher food prices, a population that is growing by one billion people each decade, climbing costs for fertilizer and diesel, and more cropland being sown for biofuel production.
To focus attention on this, the United Nations named 2008 the International Year of the Potato, calling the vegetable a "hidden treasure".
Governments are also turning to the tuber. Peru's leaders, frustrated by a doubling of wheat prices in the past year, have started a program encouraging bakers to use potato flour to make bread. Potato bread is being given to school children, prisoners and the military, in the hope the trend will catch on.
Supporters say it tastes just as good as wheat bread, but not enough mills are set up to make potato flour.
"We have to change people's eating habits," said Ismael Benavides, Peru's agriculture minister. "People got addicted to wheat when it was cheap."
Even though the potato emerged in Peru 8,000 years ago near Lake Titicaca, Peruvians eat fewer potatoes than people in Europe: Belarus leads the world in potato consumption, with each inhabitant of the eastern European state devouring an average of 376 pounds (171 kg) a year.
India has told food experts it wants to double potato production in the next five to 10 years. China, a huge rice consumer that historically has suffered devastating famines, has become the world's top potato grower. In Sub-Saharan Africa, the potato is expanding more than any other crop right now.
Some consumers are switching to potatoes. In the Baltic country of Latvia, sharp price rises caused bread sales to drop by 10-15 percent in January and February, as consumers bought 20 percent more potatoes, food producers have said.
The developing world is where most new potato crops are being planted, and as consumption rises poor farmers have a chance to earn more money.
"The countries themselves are looking at the potato as a good option for both food security and also income generation," Anderson said.
AFFORDABLE RAINBOW OF COLORS
The potato is already the world's third most-important food crop after wheat and rice. Corn, which is widely planted, is mainly used for animal feed.
Though most Americans associate potatoes with the bland Idaho variety, they actually come in some 5,000 types. Peru is sending thousands of seeds this year to the Doomsday Vault near the Arctic Circle, contributing to a gene bank for food crops that was set up in case of a global disaster.
With colors ranging from alabaster-white to bright yellow and deep purple and countless shapes, textures, and sizes, potatoes offer inventive chefs a chance to create new, eye-catching plates.
"They taste great," said Juan Carlos Mescco, 17, a potato farmer in Peru's Andes who says he frequently eats them sliced, boiled, or mashed from breakfast through dinner.
Potatoes are a great source of complex carbohydrates, which release their energy slowly, and -- so long as they are not smothered with butter -- have only five percent of the fat content of wheat.
They also have one-fourth of the calories of bread and, when boiled, have more protein than corn and nearly twice the calcium, according to the Potato Center. They contain vitamin C, iron, potassium and zinc.
SPECULATORS AREN'T TEMPTED
One factor helping the potato remain affordable is the fact that unlike wheat, it is not a global commodity, so has not attracted speculative professional investment.
Each year, farmers around the globe produce about 600 million metric tonnes of wheat, and about 17 percent of that flows into foreign trade.
Wheat production is almost double that of potato output. Analysts estimate less than 5 percent of potatoes are traded internationally, and prices are mainly driven by local tastes, instead of international demand.
Raw potatoes are heavy and can rot in transit, so global trade in them has been slow to take off. They are also susceptible to infection with pathogens, hampering export to avoid spreading plant diseases.
The downside to that is that prices in some countries aren't attractive enough to persuade farmers to grow them. People in Peruvian markets say the government needs to help lift demand.
"Prices are low. It doesn't pay to work with potatoes," said Juana Villavicencio, who spent 15 years planting potatoes and now sells them for pennies a kilo in a market in Cusco, in Peru's southern Andes.
But science is moving fast. Genetically modified potatoes that resist "late blight" are being developed by German chemicals group BASF. The disease led to famine in Ireland during the 19th century and still causes about 20 percent of potato harvest losses in the world, the company says.
Scientists say farmers who use clean, virus-free seeds can boost yields by 30 percent and be cleared for export.
That would generate more income for farmers and encourage more production as companies could sell specialty potatoes abroad, instead of just as frozen French fries or potato chips.

בעוד תהלוכת "יום האדמה" צועדת ברחובות יפו הותקפה ליליאן ועקנין על ידי שכנה הערבי.
בדרך לחקירה במשטרת יפו, מספרת היום ליליאן ועקנין איך הותקפה על ידי הנער הערבי שגר בשכנות לביתה. "הנער הערבי ממשפחת איברהים בא לביתי וטרק בחוזקה את הדלת. אני נבהלתי ואז הוא בא אליי והתחיל לירוק עליי. אז התחילו המכות בכל חלקי הגוף. איבדתי את ההכרה ומה שאני זוכרת זה רק הידיים שלו שתפסו לי בשיער והטיחו את ראשי ברצפה".
בעקבות התקיפה פונתה ליליאן ועקנין לבית חולים. בנה, שמשון, הזמין את המשטרה, אך הניידת שהגיעה לזירת האירוע לא הצליחה לאתר את הנער והשוטרים עזבו את המקום.
"תקיפה אנטישמית בלב יפו"
פעם אחר פעם מותקפת יהודיה כבת ששים בידי חמולה ערבית ביפו. היום היא פונתה לבי"ח. בנה: "הכול רקוב במשטרה מהיסוד, איפה זה יגמר?".

לפני כשנה וחצי הבאנו את סיפורה של לאה ועקנין, בת 60, שהותקפה בידי משפחת חמולה ערבית ביפו, מאז התקיפות לא פסקו ופעם אחר פעם האשה הותקפה. היום לאחר סידרת תקיפות היא אושפזה בבית החולים וולפסון.
בנה שמשון, סיפר לערוץ 7 על האירוע: "היום כשאמי עמדה להיכנס הביתה, אחד מהם יצא מפתח ביתו פרץ את הדלת של הבית שלה בזמן שניסתה להיכנס, ירק לה בפרצוף ונתן לה מכות חזקות. כשנפלה סדרת התקיפות לא הפסיקה והוא המשיך להכות אותה ומשך לה בשיער".
"בכוחותיה האחרונים אמי נכנסה הביתה והתקשרה אלי, ומיד התקשרתי למשטרה ולמד"א, המשטרה הגיעה למקום ולאחר שראתה שהוא לא נמצא עזבה, ואנשי מד"א בדקו את אמי והחליטו שהיא צריכה להתאשפז בבית החולים במצב קל, וכך הצטרפתי אליה לבית החולים וולפסון".
"יש כנגד התוקף משפט של שנה וחצי באשמת אותה תקיפה ומאז הדיון, המצב נהיה גרוע יותר. הכול פה רקוב מהיסוד זה לא מתחיל בשוטרים אלא נגמר בשוטרים. הרקבון מתחיל בבתי המשפט ובדרגי המשטרה, הערבי עכשיו התחיל להחזיק בביתו כלבי אמסטף, בדיוק אתמול הכנתי מכתב בנושא למפקד המרחב". כזכור בעיצומו של חג שמחת תורה לפני כשנה וחצי, בשעות הבוקר חזרה לאה מבית הכנסת לביתה כשבנה נותר בתפילת החג. סמוך לביתה ארבו לה שלושה מבני החמולה, התנפלו עליה והכו אותה מכות נמרצות. רק לאחר שאיבדה את הכרתה עזבו השלושה את המקום. זמן לא ברור לאחר מכן התעוררה מעלפונה. וכשהיא חבולה ביקשה עזרה שלא הגיעה. בקושי שירכה עצמה בחזרה אל בית הכנסת. בנה שנחרד למראה אמו הזעיק אמבולנס והיא פונתה לבית החולים וולפסון, שם טופלה.
במקביל פנה הבן למשטרה. תלונתו נרשמה באדיבות אותה הוא מציין, אך רק לאחר שעלה לקומת היס"מ ודרש במפגיע מהמפקד במקום לעצור את הפורעים קיבל הבטחה שהדבר ייעשה. למרות זאת מששב עם אמו בתום הטיפול מבית החולים ראה את בני החמולה הפורעים כשהם "צוחקים ולועגים כרגיל. שאלנו את המשטרה איך נתנו להם להשתחרר ואמרו לי שהשוטרים הגיעו ועצרו אותם בלילה, אבל בבוקר שיחררו אותם בערבות של 6,000 שקל וצו הרחקה מאימא שלי למשך שלושים יום. זה מגוחך. הרחקה מאימא שלי אבל לא הרחקה מהבית הצמוד שלהם... אז הם נמצאים כאן כרגיל ואנחנו חיים בפחד". הבן מספר שהתקרית האחרונה הגיעה לאחר חצי שנה של שקט. לפני חצי שנה הוכתה האם על ידי בן אחר של החמולה הערבית, וכשהגיעה המשטרה הודה במעשה ונעצר.
לדברי הבן מעצר זה גרם לבני המשפחה רתיעה מסוימת ושמירה על רגיעה במשך חצי שנה עד לתקרית האחרונה בשמחת תורה האחרון. אולם אירוע זה של מכות לאם לאה היה רק המשך למסכת התעללויות והתעמרויות של בני החמולה במשפחתה. במרוצת השנים השתלטו בני החמולה על חלקי קרקע השייכים למשפחתה של לאה, ריצפו וקירו את המעבר למבנה ובכך נוצר מצב בו ללא מעבר בשטח שעליו השתלטו בני החמולה לא יכולים האם ובנה לעבור. מעבר זה מלווה לא פעם בפגיעות מילוליות ואף פיזיות. "הם משחיתים לנו רכוש, הם רושמים גרפיטי עם שם המשפחה שלהם על הקירות שלנו, לא פעם הם זורקים אבנים, ובחודש הרמדאן הקודם השליכו חזיזים לעבר חלונות הבית".
מחשש לגורלו קיבל הבן אישור מיוחד מהצבא להלך גם מחוץ לבסיסו כשנשק M-16 תלוי על כתפו. אבל "אני בצבא ואמא שלי לבד בבית. למה מחכה המשטרה? שיהרגו אותה?" הפרשה לא הסתיימה, וביום שני השבוע הניחו בני החמולה יונה שחוטה על מפתן דלתה של המשפחה. רמז מאיים על כוונותיהם לגבי האם ובנה. כשהתלונן במשטרה שמע, לדבריו, את התשובה המפתיעה הבאה: "אתה גר שם, אז מה אתה רוצה?". הבן זועזע: "זו פשוט מדיניות גורפת של אזלת יד משטרתית. הם לא רוצים להתעמת עם החמולה הזו. יש להם כוח והם שולטים על חלקים נרחבים מהעיר, אז המשטרה חוששת מהם. בעבר התלוננתי במשטרה, אבל מישהו שם דואג לסגור את התיקים באופן עקבי".

Delete the scum called "the Olmert Government" that floated to the surface. Because they are not part of the people and they have proven many times that they will not protect you. Those (except for some) came to the Government - not as patriots but - because they were greedy for power, privilege and money....always the money.The enemy has grown in strength and their people are entirely behind them. If ever they were only civilians, that has long since passed. Unlike the Israeli Leftists, the Muslim Arab Palestinian people are fully behind their Muslim Arab Terrorists who bomb, shoot Rockets, Missiles and kill Jews. To this they are fully pledged - whether as a people or as a Muslim "Jihadist". They have further pledged to train their very youngest children to hate and kill Jews, with many so trained have now reached maturity and taken their place alongside their trainers.
The Israeli government is not only useless in these perilous times, they cravenly become an ally and enablers to our most fearsome enemies. As I said before, they are useless to the point of being traitors. But, there is no time to effectively dump Olmert out of office where he has total control.
The fight is (or should be) with Arab and/or Muslims, be they Palestinians, Syrians, Iranians, Egyptians, Lebanese, Libyans, or even Saudis (like the 15 suicide bombers who killed 3000 from many countries in America on 9/11). We observe, with consternation, Olmert issuing orders to attack Jews who wish to defend their own G-d given Land, their homes and their lives.
There is little or no doubt that there will be a saturation missile attack coming from Hamas, Hezb'Allah, Syria and Iran. The so-called Israeli Arab Muslims inside of Israel will do as much inner damage as they can long known by Israeli Intelligence.
This is a war that Israel did NOT start nor will it end - until a great number of Muslim Arabs are defeated and dead. The Arab Muslims in a full scale war with Israel will offer no quarter, no pity and will kill any soldier or civilian in the most gruesome way possible.
When the Americans fire-bombed Dresden, they viewed all the people in the Axis as the enemy.
When Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, killing all under the world's first nuclear bombs, it was because everyone in Japan was a pledged enemy who would kill Americans when they could - even if they had to commit suicide ("Hari Kari") to do so. Millions more would have died if the A bombs had not been used - both American soldiers and Japanese.
Attackers chose the rules of life or death, forcing their victims to fight for their lives.
Israel faces implacable, irredentist enemies who delight in killing Jews, be they infants, women, children, husbands or brothers. The slaughter of innocents was and is still their favorite rule of war. Therefore, it is time the Jews fight back - without those so-called civilized rules of warfare. The E.U., the U.N., the Bush-Rice Administration requires only Jews to follow "rules". Islamists have made civilian collateral damage the rule when they fight - not the exception. The rule for the Jews must be to win at any cost to the enemy. The Israeli Government of failure should be put under house arrest - lest they interfere with the defense of the nation - as they have for their entire term of office.
We are told that Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority, Fatah and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade plus other Terror organizations are all in lock-step with Hamas, will call upon all Palestinians to march 'en masse' to Israel's borders and cross over unless stopped and they should be stopped with necessary force - even if it "seems" excessive.
These are the militia of the Terrorists. They should not be called "militants" because they are Terrorists. If they are called Terrorists, maybe they can be eliminated for the benefit of all. They are the enemy and should be treated as the enemy. Whether it's rifle fire, air fuel bombs, artillery - all methods should be used to rout the enemy. Give them the same pity they would give you and your family.
If you think fighting the enemies of the Jewish people should be "restrained" as demanded by the nations, some will recall the past, unrestrained savagery of the marauding Muslim Arabs. Some will recall how in 1948, hordes of Arab Muslims who overran communities and slaughtered everyone they could catch. They tortured and, to complete their rage, they mutilated the dead Jews. It's not only retribution for the past but, it's what they still do and what they plan to do in the future.
War is not civilized. It is brutal. It is pitiless. It is cruel. Winners survive. Losers die or become slaves. The leaders of Israel are losers because they wish to be losers.
What do you want for your people in Israel? What do you want for the Jews of the world? Who are to be the "winners" and who will be the "losers" in this merciless war between two religions, two civilizations?
Some will recall how the nations were positively impressed when Israel fought and won the 1967 Six Day War. Then the Jewish leadership started its downward spiral as they apologized for winning. The nations soon turned back to their age-old attitudes of despising Jews for their weakness.
The Leftist leadership thought that by debasing themselves and the Jewishness of themselves, by abandoning the Land, they would bring honor and cheers from the world. Instead, the crawling and sniveling encouraged the enemy to greater demands and acts of Terror. As for the nations of the world - and especially the Arab Muslim world, they merely asked for more.
The more Israeli leaders cringed and begged, the more assured the Muslim Arabs were in their belief that Israel was soon to collapse. These Jewish leaders of the Left thought that de-Judaizing the nation would bring friendship from the Muslim and European countries.
Instead, this appeasement attitude brought more war and Terror.
But, that did not stop the Leftist Jewish leadership from giving up more and more often in obedience to American State Department demands that the Arab and Muslim countries were to be appeased. Israel has now sunk to her lowest level - as both civilians and soldiers alike have nothing but contempt for the whining Olmert and his despised followers.
When Jews once again exhibit pride in themselves, their Jewishness and the Jewishness of their nation, only then will the Muslims and the Europeans back off.
As for the anti-Semitic cabal, presently led by Bush, Rice, Baker, Scowcroft, Carter, Brzezinski - the Arabist State Department, they are merely an embarrassment to all Americans.

NRP to Support Anti-Prostitution Bill
(IsraelNN.com) The National Religious Party has decided to back a bill proposed by MK Zahava Gal-On (Meretz) that would make hiring a prostitute a criminal offense. Offenders could be sentenced to up to six months in prison.
NRP head MK Zevulun Orlev said Thursday that prostitution is disastrous primarily for women who work in the sex trade. "Israeli society must do everything possible to prevent this unlawful phenomena," he said.
MK Orlev made his decision after receiving support from Rabbi Yuval Sherlo, who gave him the Jewish perspective on prostitution. Jewish law holds the clients, the prostitute, and society responsible for prostitution, Rabbi Sherlo said, and not only the clients, as the law is meant to protect society as a whole from prostitution. (IsraelNN.com) Defense Minister Ehud Barak called Thursday for Israel to issue another 5,000 permits allowing Palestinian Authority Arabs to work in construction within pre-1967 Israel. The move would be part of a series of "good-will gestures" meant to support the Palestinian Authority.
Other gestures to the PA will include the removal of roadblocks in Judea and Samaria, the transfer of armored vehicles to PA forces, the construction of a new neighborhood in Ramallah, and the deployment of PA forces in the city of Jenin.

The thwarting of an alarming terror plot was cleared for publication on Thursday, almost three weeks after a joint Shin Bet and police operation led to the arrest of two Palestinian employees of the 'Grill Express' restaurant in Ramat Gan.
The men, Eihab Abu Rial and Anas Salum, both 21-year-old residents of the West Bank city of Nablus, had planned to lace dishes served at the establishment with a powerful toxin without odor or taste, in the hopes of killing as many patrons as possible.

The two did not have working permits and were residing in Israel illegally. While in Nablus, they had been recruited to the al-Aqsa Martyr's Bridges, the military wing of Fatah, under the guidance and funding of Hizbullah.
The men were arrested by police investigators following information obtained by the Shin Bet, several
short days before they planned to carry out the attack.
In their questioning the men told interrogators they were to receive the poison from two operatives in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus – Husseini Salag and Hani Quabi – who are still wanted by security forces.
The white substance is virtually undetectable and affects its victims approximately four hours after being ingested.
Salag, they said, also sought to use them to bring a suicide bomber across the border.
Defense officials say they are concerned Quabi continues to seek the means to carry out an attack in Israel using illegal Palestinian residents.

The al-Dura case: mother of all fauxtography
It's been called the mother of all fauxtography, the biggest media hoax of our times, the most damaging image ever attached to Israel, an icon of hatred, blood libel on an international scale: the shooting of Mohamed al Dura, a 12 year-old Palestinian boy allegedly gunned down by murderous Israeli soldiers on September 30, 2000 at Netzarim Junction in the Gaza Strip.
The incident, fortuitously filmed by France 2 cameraman Talal Abu Rahma, has been at the center of debate ever since. Al Dura, the poster boy of the al Aqsa intifada, has served as justification for some of the most atrocious crimes of this decadetwo Israeli reservists massacred by an enraged mob in Ramallah to avenge Mohamed al Dura; the Palestinian boy's shooting spliced into the beheading video of WSJ's Daniel Pearl. Echoes of the hatred generated by the al Dura image resound to this day. The murder of eight students at Jerusalem's Mercaz Harav yeshiva is the latest in a long series of savage attacks against civilians in Israel and Jews worldwide, in revenge for some Ur-crime committed against Palestinians.
Despite conclusive evidence to the contrary, France 2 Jerusalem correspondent Charles Enderlin has never withdrawn the accusation that the boy was killed and his father wounded by gunfire "from the Israeli positions." The origin of that hypothetical gunfire is a moot question to observers who claim the whole scene was staged.
While Israeli authorities hunkered down, hoping the al Dura accusations would fade away, France 2 correspondent Charles Enderlin has staked his reputation on keeping them blood red. French media closed ranks and stifled the controversy on their home turf but it kept bouncing back internationally. Determined to silence "enemies" once and for all, France 2/Enderlin brought defamation suits against three websites that had posted critical examinations of the al Dura report, losing one on a technicality and winning two on generalities.
But one of the defendants, Media-Ratings director Philippe Karsenty, appealed and Enderlin's slam-dunk litigation is looking more like a boomerang. Whereas the court of first resort had avoided questions that might have embarrassed the state-owned television network, Laurence Trébucq, the no-nonsense president of the three-judge Appellate Court panel, lifted the lid to see what's cooking and ordered France 2 to turn over the raw footage. The court got a stingy 18-minute excerpt, but it was enough to confirm the initial observation that France 2 stringer Talal Abu Rahma did indeed film fake battles, simulated injuries, and comical ambulance evacuations…that fateful day. And the al Dura shooting? Also staged? Or paradoxically authentic?
Evidence and closing arguments were heard at a marathon session on February 27th. Initially convicted of defaming France 2/Enderlin without conducting a proper investigation, Philippe Karsenty presented bushels of evidence that the judge observed with rapt attention. France 2/Enderlin brought in its Big Bertha in the person of Maître François Szpiner, former president Chirac's personal counsel. Szpiner defended the Paris Mosque in the Charlie Hebdo-Danish cartoons case (he lost) and was literally dispatched to represent Ruth Halimi whose son Ilan was tortured to death by the anti-Semitic "Gang of Barbarians" in February 2005.
The aggressive, abusive, sarcastic Szpiner did not attempt to defend the facts on the ground, obviously a lost cause. He saved his ammunition for underhand blows and snide remarks about "The Jew who gives money to a second Jew who gives it to the third Jew who fights to the last drop of Israeli blood." Karsenty, described with a snarl as a cross between the Shoah negationist Faurisson and the 9/11 revisionist Meyssan, has it in for Enderlin, says Szpiner, because the France 2 correspondent covers the hotheaded Mideast conflict with consummate fairness and not, as some would wish, as a fight between the good guys and the bad guys. Enderlin, in turn, vouched for his trusted Palestinian cameraman, assuring the court that if Talal had engaged in crooked reporting, the Israelis would have revoked his accreditation.
In fact, Abu Rahma's accreditation has not been renewed since 2002 because, according to Government Press Office director Daniel Seaman, he was filming staged scenes. Invited to react to this information, news director Chabot relayed the request to Enderlin who shot back with a half dozen insulting e-mails including one in Englishaddressed to the Foreign Press Associationidentifying me as "that lady." "You are a militant," wrote Enderlin, "I expect nothing from you. You won't even mention that we won four libel suits and the Avocat Général recommended confirmation of Karsenty's initial conviction." In the midst of the bluster, Enderlin confirmed that the GPO withdrew accreditation from all Gaza and West Bank journalists, including Abu Rahma, at the end of 2001. Any other explanation, he threatened, is a lie.
Caught off guard during a brief recess during the trial, Arlette Chabot let off steam. "I just want this shitty affair over and done with. I want Karsenty to lose! This nutty case has been bugging me since day one." Implying that her people have no idea where the murderous gunfire came from, she assured the gentleman who had buttonholed her that she was willing to investigate everything and everyone if she could only get this shitty case off her back. What about the fact that the dead child identified as Mohamed al Dura was brought into the hospital between noon and 1 PM while the alleged shooting occurred at 3PM? Making the motions of someone who turns back a clock, madame Chabot explained there was "some kind of time change that day in Gaza."
Chabot had already left the premises when Philippe Karsenty stood before the court and replied soberly to the ultimate question: Why are you doing this?
"I will not give up. I owe it to the father of Daniel Pearl, beheaded with the image of Mohamed al-Dura incrusted in the video. I owe it to my parents, who taught me to respect the truth. I owe it to the Jewish people, victim of lies, I owe it to France, I owe it to history."
The verdict will be pronounced on May 21st.

I, among others, have written frequently about the Leftists' plans to strip Israeli citizens of their defensive weapons, leaving the citizenry open to assault by Muslim Palestinian Terrorists. This was done repeatedly under Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, to settlers, individually and their communities (settlements, kibbutzim, towns, etc.) where the Government ordered the Army to use the "excuse" of "inspecting the weapons" and then never returning them.In 2000 we wrote "PRE-POSITIONING OF WEAPONS IN YESHA" documenting in full the situation in Israel at that time. It is somewhat worse now. But, one point should be made again today:
"...should the Arabs attack, the Israeli military will have a difficult time reaching many of the embattled communities. Rabin, Peres and now Barak, having turned over control of many of the access roads to Palestinian Police 'cum' terrorists (now numbering at least a 41,000 man Para-Military force) who can and will block IDF relief columns. So, it would be far better if some of the equipment were already there, i.e., "Pre-Positioned."
There is also a high probability that Israeli troops may be called up to Israel's borders should Egypt and Syria move troops to a high alert, possibly coordinating their moves with Arafat. This would leave the 200 large and small communities in YESHA entirely unprotected from a concentrated attack by Arafat's Para-Military now armed with automatic weapons, anti-tank, anti-aircraft missiles, bombs, explosives and armored vehicles. Israeli Arabs have smuggled in arms which, in combination with Arafat's Para-Military could delay Israeli troops in a rescue attempt."
Clearly, this self-destructive tactic of removing defensive weapons from civilians is currently being implemented by the Olmert, Barak, Livni Government. Civilians (including Army officers on reserve) are being stripped of their protection at a time of increasing risk due to Olmert Government egregious efforts to undermine the safety, security and sovereignty of the State and her loyal citizens.
Removing roadblocks, checkpoints, citizens' licensed weapons, negotiating surrender of Israeli homes, farms, Land - all create a "perception of military and national weakness" in the minds eye of the watching Muslim Arab countries and Terrorist organizations. These suicidal actions are inviting attack by Terrorists and massive Arab Muslim armies, well-armed with Billions of American tax-payers' dollars in high tech weapons' systems.
Also, this collection of citizens' arms is in effect at the same time as the Olmert Government orders the collections of citizens' gas-masks while there are increasing threats of Chemical and Biological missiles being launched from Syria or, by proxy, by Hezb'Allah who is supplied by Iran through Syria.
Stripping Israeli citizens and IDF officers of their only methods of defense proves that the Olmert Government is actually working with Israel's self-proclaimed enemies to insure their success in taking over Israeli territory and weakening the peoples' ability to defend themselves and their families.
Treason is a crime against humanity that brings the penalty of death by hanging or firing squad.
Remember how the Nazis tried to keep defensive weapons out of the hands of the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto (and elsewhere during the Nazi German occupation of many countries in Europe) prior to emptying the Warsaw Ghetto and shipping the stalwart Jews to the death camps?
This time Olmert, Bush and Rice are conspiring secretly with Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen), President of the "Palestinian" Authority (and purportedly with Bashar Assad, President of Syria) to drive the Jews out of Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and all those areas of Jerusalem (East, North and South) that were occupied by Jordan for 19 years from 1948 to 1967.
King David would have ordered summary executions for traitors who tried to do this. But, Israel is supposed to be a democracy. By secretly negotiating abandonment of 500,000+ Jewish men, women and children from the Land of Israel, after brave soldiers and civilians died to liberate them and then build their lives by building their communities, a Peoples' Court might rule that the current Olmert, Barak, Livni, Peres government is ordering the Staticide, self-destructive national suicide of the Jewish State of Israel.
Is this how to celebrate our 60th anniversary? Or is this the day Rice, Bush and Olmert complete their betrayal of the Jewish nation by insuring her citizen's can NOT defend themselves?
The authors of the American Constitution anticipated the potential for the betrayal of the people and so inserted the Second Amendment to the Constitution's Bill of Rights the right of the people to keep and bear arms which was ratified in 1791. That Right was pre-existing in both common law and in the early American state constitutions .

According to reports Tuesday, the only people who were given leave to keep their weapons were rapid response teams and those charged with maintaining security in the settlements.

"Coincidentally", just after Rice's team left, it was revealed that America will hold back military re-supply to Israel "until Israel needs it". This would ostensibly save Israel "billions of dollars" in storage costs for "equipment and weapons it may never use".
Holding back military re-supply is an old State Department tactic, used best by Henry Kissinger in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, in order to insure that Israel would be "more flexible" when she was forced into post-war negotiations. I remember hearing that Kissinger said: "Let Israel bleed a little. She'll give up more in negotiations if she bleeds a little." Kissinger's deliberate delay of re-supplying Israel until the eighth day of the war led to many needless deaths and endangered Israel severely.
So, on top of the State Department making Israel remove roadblocks in order to give Terrorists greater freedom of movement - with more Israelis dead, they also want Israel to incur greater casualties in any upcoming war. Like Kissinger, the State Department and C. Rice want "Israel to bleed a little" - or a lot!
We can't help but notice how this comes together nicely, with the $60plus Billion dollars of American arms that have been supplied to Egypt the past years since the Camp David Accords. Don't forget the hundreds of thousands of American tax-payers' dollars that have gone to the Fatah under Mahmoud Abbas for weapons - only to be captured by Hamas as soon as they took over Gaza. Remember that Bush connived with Sharon and Olmert to surrender and evict 10,000 men, women and children from Gush Katif in Gaza that gave Hamas the Terrorist Base they needed. Those 21 Jewish communities in Gush Katif were being attacked, mercilessly - as is Sderot now - but, they were protecting the rest of Southern Israel.
The billions to Egypt and millions to the Palestinian Authority continued apace and grew exponentially during the 8 years of the Bush, Rice years. Remember Rice was first National Security Advisor and now is Secretary of State. Egypt will have top quality tanks, planes and missiles ready to attack Israel. Why Israel? Israel is Egypt's only enemy. Why else would Egypt be preparing for war? Egypt has become the military colossus of the Middle East and is now negotiating with Vladimir Putin of Russia to build a nuclear power plant as Russia did for Iran. One to start with - more to follow.
Egypt has made no secret of its aim to achieve military parity with the Jewish State and to have a regional military projection capability. Cairo has acquired new and more powerful weapons systems, including surface-to-surface missiles from China and North Korea, WMD capability, fighter aircraft, attack helicopters, naval vessels and, of course, tanks. With no country threatening its borders, only Israel appears to be the likely target of the Egyptian build-up. Some may recall during a prior US administration, while Secretary of Defense William Cohen was observing Operation "Bright Star" (Joint Military Games between U.S. and Egyptian troops), a high ranking Egyptian General said: "We are preparing for war with Israel." Of course, resupply takes time - even under the best of circumstances. Egypt will have top quality tanks, planes and missiles ready to attack - while Israel is waiting for American re-supply. With 40,000 enemy missiles now in Hezb'Allah inventory, poised to hit Israel - flights will be delayed. Runways may be hit. America may not want to sent her cargo jets into enemy fire. The State Department may relish the idea of letting Israel "sweat it out".
The State Department and Ms. Rice have shown themselves to be hostile entities when it comes to Israel. It is beneficial for Israel and her friends around the world to know this. Congress may find it necessary to launch an investigation into the State Department's inner strategy towards Israel.
However, there is another benefit that can come from this. As we proposed in the past, America should build giant pre-positioning warehouses in Israel. These will be under American ownership until they are released for either Israel's use or American re-supply to one of the American theaters of war in time of emergency.
Having a re-supply depot in the Middle East that is secured by the Israelis can be very useful in the volatile Middle East.

Secretive U.S.-backed discussion focuses on West Bank, Jerusalem

JERUSALEM – U.S.-backed negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians are expected to generate an agreement by the end of the year that would set up a Palestinian state in the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem, according to a source who has participated in the talks.
In one of the first media glimpses into the current negotiations, a source who takes part in the regular meetings outlined for WND the main objectives of the secretive negotiations.
Since last November's Israeli-Palestinian Annapolis summit, which set as a goal the creation of a Palestinian state before 2009, negotiating teams including Israeli Foreign Minister Tzippy Livni and chief Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qureia have been meeting weekly while Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas have been meeting biweekly.
Unlike previous Israeli-Palestinian negotiations in which both sides attended with about a dozen advisers each, the teams working with Livni and Qureia are small, usually consisting at most of five people each.
Also unlike previous talks, in which the contents of many meetings were leaked quickly to the media, the current negotiations have resulted in few press leaks.
According to the source who has been playing a role in the meetings, the two sides are drafting an agreement, to be signed by the end of the year, requiring Israel to evacuate most of the West Bank and certain eastern sections of Jerusalem.
The source said Israeli community blocks in the zones of Gush Etzion, Maale Adumin and Ariel would remain Israeli while most of the West Bank and parts of Jerusalem will be slated for a Palestinian state.
In contradiction to statements by Olmert, the status of sections of Jerusalem is being negotiated but the specifics of any agreed-upon Israeli withdrawal is as yet unclear, said the source.
"It is understood [Jerusalem] Arab neighborhoods would become part of a Palestinian state," the source said.
The source told WND both sides agreed Israel would retain Jerusalem's Pisgat Zeev neighborhood, which is located near large Arab communities. Many of those Arab towns were constructed illegally on property owned by the Jewish National Fund, a Jewish nonprofit that purchases property using Jewish donors funds for the stated purpose of Jewish settlement.
The source said the U.S. pledged advanced training for thousands of PA security officers who would take over security in the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem and operate in those territories instead of the Israel Defense Forces and Israeli police.
The U.S. previously has trained thousands of Palestinian security officers, including units in which known members of Fatah's Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist group serve. Scores of those security forces have carried out terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians, including recent deadly shootings in the West Bank.
But the source claimed the planned U.S. training is different:
"This training is unlike anything before. The PA, Israel and the U.S. are working very closely to vet the forces. All sides are approving the training candidates. The training is more advanced than ever. It will create a very serious Palestinian army," said the source.
The source said as part of the negotiations, Abbas has agreed to hold early PA elections in the West Bank by 2009, including presidential elections that could replace the Palestinian leader.
PA elections previously have been held simultaneously in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The source's description of planned new elections only in the West Bank implied the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip would be treated as a separate entity
Leaders from the Hamas terrorist organization, which swept the last municipal elections, stated the past few days Hamas would agree to early elections. The Hamas leaders also said for the first time ever, their organization would propose a candidate to compete with Abbas' Fatah group in PA presidential elections.
The source speaking to WND about the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations said while a signed agreement and PA security force training can be expected before the end of the year, it has not yet been determined when any Israeli withdrawals would be implemented.
He said Olmert would be headed to new Israeli elections with an Israeli-PA agreement in tow.
The source said the U.S. is "very deeply involved" in all aspects of the negotiations.
To demonstrate the level of U.S. involvement, the source pointed to recent U.S. supervision of Israeli commitments to dismantle about 50 West Bank anti-terror roadblocks and to bulldoze what are called illegal outposts, or West Bank Jewish communities constructed without government permits.
"The U.S. oversaw the removal of each and every roadblock, making sure the roadblocks were actually removed," said the source.
"Also, even though Israel prepared a report of all illegal outposts and handed it to the Americans, U.S. officials have been doing their own very specific independent investigating to find each and every illegal outpost and then oversee their dismantlement," the source said.
U.S. training of the PA security forces already started last month at U.S.-controlled bases in the Jordanian village of Giftlik, according to Israeli security officials. Over 600 elite PA soldiers are enrolled in the current course, which includes training in the use of weapons, conducting ambushes, fighting street crime, fighting terrorism, and dealing with hostage situations, among other things.
After the unit is finished training in Jordan, they will continue with more advanced training courses at a U.S.-run base in the West Bank city of Jericho.
All training is being directly overseen by Gen. Keith Dayton, the U.S. security coordinator to the Palestinian territories.
As a test of the PA's abilities, a battalion of about 600 PA officers recently trained by the U.S. is set to deploy in the West Bank city of Jenin, which is considered a sanctuary for Palestinian terrorist organizations.
The U.S. and Israel will monitor closely the officers' activities but it wasn't immediately clear how the success or failure of the Jenin force would impact the deployment of other such forces since the Jenin force was deployed despite recent negative U.S. reports of PA security forces.
A U.S. security report last month concluded the PA is failing to fight terrorism. The report was compiled by Gen. William Fraser, who was deployed to the region to monitor implementation of agreements pledged by Israel and the PA at Annapolis.
Fraser's report slammed the PA for failing to arrest, interrogate and place terrorist suspects on trial. The report said the PA occasionally carries out arrests of suspected terrorists, but usually only following pressure from Israel or the U.S. The arrested terrorists, the report said, are rarely interrogated or tried but instead are briefly detained.

NEWSFLASH from the Committee for the release of the Halamish brothers!
Against all odds and against all expectations, at the very last minute, the incarceration of Danny and Itzik Halamish has been postponed till after Pessach by Judge Ravid who could not accept the fact that the Halamish brothers were refused a proper hearing when they asked to postpone their jail term.
Such a hearing will be held after Pessach.

For those who are not "au courant" with ancient Babylonian history, and have not reviewed the Book of the Prophets "Daniel" recently, Belshazzar was an ancient king, grandson of Nebuchadnezzar (who had destroyed the First Temple). The kings of that era knew there was a prophecy predicting the rebuilding of the Second Temple - and did NOT want that to happen. As chronicled in the Book of Daniel, Chapter 5, King Belshazzar figured that the period of time that the Temple could have been built was up - and that they no longer had to worry. He made a party to celebrate his (mis)calculation. During the party a hand appeared and wrote an array of letters, which the Prophet Daniel was called upon to interpret. It came out:
MENE MENE - G-d has counted the years of your kingship and terminated it.
TEKEL - You have been weighed in the scales and found wanting.
PERES - Your kingdom has been broken up and given over to Medea and Persia.
That night Belshazzar was killed and his kingdom was given over to Persia and Medea.
G-d wants there to be a Third Temple in Jerusalem. This requires Jewish sovereignty and security - so the Jewish people can work on returning to serving G-d properly - after suffering for millennia in exile.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the State Department, as representatives of America, want to split Jerusalem and give more than half to the Palestinians (Philistines?). Does America want to be seen in the eyes of Heaven as "going against G-d"?
What are the consequences of that?
What will happen, and seems to be already happening, to America?
G-d gave America great power - for a reason. Not just to spread "Coca-Cola" throughout the world. If America uses that power to go against G-d, we would not expect that power to last every long....Economic collapse...Military Reversals...Catastrophes of "Nature"...
Recently the U.S. State Department has been pushing Israel very hard to stop building homes for her citizens - even in areas that are promised to remain under Israeli control under any agreement. The State Department officials have been pushing Israel to evacuate nascent and built-up settlements. "Miraculously", America has also been hit with a housing disaster. How many Americans have lost and will lose their homes in the "sub-prime" crisis?
Amazingly Hurricanes Katrina also caused tens of thousands to lose their homes - at the same time as Israel was being forced to destroy Jewish homes in 21 Jewish communities of Gush Katif/Gaza. Is there a message here?
Going against G-d is obviously never a smart move. Maybe we Americans should tell the American State Department to stop persecuting Israel. It's certainly worth a try - before things get any worse.

How come? Because the whole thing was a phony, an exercise for the HEAVY POLICE PRESENCE AT THE CHECKPOINTS, practicing stopping people from going to Gush Etzion and Hevron.

I have it on what I consider a reliable source that the recent "civil defense mobilization" exercise, the largest exercise in Israel's history, has nothing to do with Syria or Iran. It is rehearsing the control of transit points and population for the coming expulsion from some, most of all of Judea and Samaria.

I believe that fully. For the past three days, traffic at the El-Khader checkpoint, the entry into Jerusalem proper, has been diverted: incoming vehicles are checked carefully, but in addition, OUTGOING TRAFFIC TOWARDS GUSH ETZION AND KIRYAT ARBA has been DIVERTED. Instead of the free-flowing right lane with regular border police on attendance -sometimes- and no check of vehicles , for the past three days the right lane has been blocked with a thick metal bar that cannot be passed, red lights on. The traffic of normal vehicles has been diverted to the LEFT lane, where there is a police vehicle and at least two policemen checking every vehicle. This is highly suspicious.
I have told you all along that the way the fence is built is so JEWS CAN'T GET OUT , not so ARABS CAN'T GET IN. The fence on that segment is pretty much on its last finishing touches. It is a frightening, oppressive structure that has a concentration camp feel to it. If you don;t believe me, come and see it.
While meanwhile the actual fence is rather meek in comparison, if not for the guard towers.

Olmert Visits Hevron, Meets with Soldiers
(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert visited the city of Hevron on Tuesday and met with soldiers stationed in the area. Olmert was accompanied by IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai, and other senior officials, who briefed him on the security situation in the area.

Terror Warning Cancels Netanyahu's Visit to Gush Etzion
(IsraelNN.com) Warnings that Arab terrorists were planning to attack Jerusalem Wednesday forced Likud leader Knesset Member Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu to cancel a planned visit to Gush Etzion, south of the capital. The warning has been removed, but security forces were ordered to maintain high-than-usual supervision of Arab traffic. Unconfirmed reports stated that terrorists failed in an attempt to infiltrate into one of the communities in Gush Etzion, which includes the towns of Efrat, Alon Shvut and kibbutzim.

New Anti-Forgery Passports To Be Issued
(IsraelNN.com) Israeli citizens will have to apply for new passports over the next three years to comply with a new government directive to issue a "biometric" passport that is difficult to forge. The United States and European Union have said that the current passports will not be honored after 2010.

Report: German Company Sold Iran Surveillance Equipment
(IsraelNN.com) The German company Siemens was very likely responsible for selling sophisticated surveillance equipment to Iran, according to the Jerusalem Post. Austrian investigative journalist Erich Moechel first broke the story.
Moechel said he was "99 percent certain" that Siemens had provided Iran with equipment used to track landline and cellular phone conversations. Iran also purchased "Intelligence Platform" systems allowing it to monitor financial transactions and travel, he said.
Siemans spokesmen did not confirm or deny the allegations, but said the company was careful to obey all European Union guidelines regarding trade with Iran.

Preceding World War II Siemens was involved in the secret rearmament of Germany. Report: German Company Sold Iran Surveillance Equipment
(IsraelNN.com) The German company Siemens was very likely responsible for selling sophisticated surveillance equipment to Iran, according to the Jerusalem Post. Austrian investigative journalist Erich Moechel first broke the story.
Moechel said he was "99 percent certain" that Siemens had provided Iran with equipment used to track landline and cellular phone conversations. Iran also purchased "Intelligence Platform" systems allowing it to monitor financial transactions and travel, he said.
Siemans spokesmen did not confirm or deny the allegations, but said the company was careful to obey all European Union guidelines regarding trade with Iran.

Police Still Haven't Returned Gun to Man Who Thwarted Attack
(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Erez Bar-On, who thwarted a terrorist attack at a Samaria bus stop last week, said Tuesday that police have not yet returned his gun.
Police took the gun to conduct laboratory tests after Bar-On used it to shoot and kill a terrorist who tried to stab him and a teenage boy waiting at a hitch-hiking post near the Samaria town of Shilo.
Bar-On said Tuesday that if he were facing a similar attack today, he would be unable to respond as he did last week because police refuse to return his weapon. Bar-On said he travels the same dangerous roads as he always has done and faces the same terrorist threat. "There is no reason it should take this long" to return the gun, he said.
Police and IDF officials agreed following the attack that Bar-On had done the right thing and had saved his own life and that of 16-year-old Hillel Maeir.
Despite their praise for Bar-On's quick thinking, police officials so far have rejected his request and that Bar-On will not receive his gun until "it is decided whether or not to return the weapon."
The story comes at the heels of three related issues: the army's collection of guns from local Judea and Samaria communities' weapons storerooms, the inability of first-response teams to sign out rifles from the IDF for the past month and the Olmert government's deployment of armed PA police in Judea and Samaria, despite several recent attacks coordinated by members of the Fatah force.

Jerusalem, Gush Etzion on High Alert For Terror Attack
(IsraelNN.com) Security forces have gone on alert for a possible terrorist attack in Jerusalem. Based on intelligence information, terrorists may already be in the city, seeking a target for an attack.
In Gush Etzion, the highest alert was declared after a truck filled with terrorists attempted to enter on of the communities there and was rebuffed, according to unconfirmed reports.
Motorists are advised that traffic is jammed in the northern parts of the city, where checkpoints have been set up.
Both alerts come several days after Israel removed 50 roadblocks and barriers throughout Judea and Samaria in response to pressure from US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
The American Secretary has demanded that Israel ease restrictions on travel by Palestinian Authority Arabs despite an escalation of rock, firebomb and shooting attacks on Jewish drivers.

PRE-POSITIONING OF WEAPONS IN YESHA
by Emanuel A. Winston, Middle East Analyst & CommentatorOnce Israel pleaded with the U.S. to pre-position military equipment in Israel should there be another surprise attack by the Arab nations. The State Department and then Sec. of Defense Caspar Weinberger thought that this was an excellent idea so, naturally they pre-positioned U.S. arms in Saudi Arabia and such Arab Muslim nations who would (temporarily) allow Americans on their soil to defend them. Nothing of consequence was pre-positioned in Israel although Israel did not require American troops and had only asked for equipment.
This Israeli request of America was proven out during the Yom Kippur War. Re-supply was delayed by then Secretary of State Henry Kissinger until the 8th day of the 1973 War. Re-supply aircraft coming from the U.S. were refused landing and refueling rights by the same Jew-hating nations who assisted Hitler's Jewish Solution and who now are being solicited by Barak to pressure Israel into abandoning her defensive borders and water.
Now, the civilian Jewish communities of YESHA (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) are asking the Israeli government and her military to pre-position defensive equipment in their areas in anticipation of an Arab uprising which the Arabs have pledged. They already know that should the Arabs attack, the Israeli military will have a difficult time reaching many of the embattled communities. Rabin, Peres and now Barak, having turned over control of many of the access roads to Palestinian Police 'cum' terrorists (now numbering at least a 41,000 man Para-Military force ) [probably double that now in 2008] who can and will block IDF relief columns. So, it would be far better if some of the equipment were already there, i.e., "Pre-Positioned."
There is also a high probability that Israeli troops may be called up to Israel's borders should Egypt and Syria move troops to a high alert, possibly coordinating their moves with Arafat. This would leave the 200 large and small communities in YESHA entirely unprotected from a concentrated attack by Arafat's Para-Military now armed with automatic weapons, anti-tank, anti-aircraft missiles, bombs, explosives and armored vehicles. Israeli Arab Muslims have smuggled in arms which, in combination with Arafat's Para-Military could delay Israeli troops in an attempted defensive rescue.
But, arming settlers presents a problem for Ehud Barak [then PM & DM] whose appeasement policies call for the evacuation of Jewish communities back to the 1967 borders and beyond. He really does not want an armed civilian community capable of resisting either Arab Forces or forced rescue (read: removal) by Israeli troops. The Arab street always knows well in advance what their leaders want them to do so when they start stockpiling food and medicines - watch out!
(Note! Several communities medical equipment and drug stores have been broken into by Arabs who are now stocking up on medical supplies in anticipation of an armed conflict with Israelis.) The Israeli military have sufficient excess stores of vehicles - heavy weapons and ammunition, generators and medical supplies.
Israeli communities should also be prepared to hold off civilian human shields, that is, Arab women and children, with Arab fighters hidden just behind or among them. Sacrificing civilians for T.V. cameras and public relations campaigns is not unusual in the Arab war against the Jews. It is also not unusual for T.V. stations to receive a phone call to be at a certain place to film a "spontaneous" riot. The Arabs know Jews hesitate to fire on civilians even when they know that just behind them, or mixed into the civilian crowd are fully armed and trained fighters. This problem has to be addressed or the 200 Jewish communities face being overrun.
Presently, Arab children are being trained with knives and Kalashnikov rifles at summer camps under the guidance of the Palestinian Authority as published with pictures in the NEW YORK TIMES August 3, 2000. Let us not forget Arafat's RPG kids of Lebanon (RPG: Rocket-Propelled Grenades). These were the 10 to12 year old kids who Arafat trained to use the RPGs against the Israelis and Christians in Lebanon. Arafat's plan recognized that Israeli soldiers were reluctant to fire on children and were killed as a result of their humanitarian hesitation.
The Israeli military have themselves pre-positioned armaments on the Golan because of the difficulty of getting equipment to the front in anticipation of a sneak attack by Syria. The Israeli military know they must be prepared because the Arabs have launched so many attacks and have pledged to accelerate their violent attacks despite their signatures on bits of Oslo paper.
Pre-positioning sufficient material in YESHA meets the same needs. It would also pull together these communities in a common purpose and create efficiencies not usually known among civilians. The Jewish Leftists have conveniently demonized those civilians who live in these communities as a sop to their consciences, hoping the sacrifice of other Jews will save them in their coastal cities.
Strangely, the settlers who are on the front line are the most desirous of peace. True, they volunteer for the army in greater numbers than those who live the fat life in Tel Aviv and Haifa. It is their officers who still say: "Acharai!" (Follow Me!) instead of the Leftist officers who give orders from behind their men. Perhaps this is why, sadly, the casualties among religiously observant soldiers and officers and those from YESHA are higher than the rest when there is war. They know what and why they are defending the Land G-d gave to the Jews.
YESHA needs pre-positioned armaments which the Israeli officers' corps from the Chief of Staff Gen. Shaul Mofaz on down knows very well. If these communities are, indeed, overrun because of lack of arms then these same officers must be brought to trial as co-conspirators in the deaths and injuries of their fellow Jews. The civilians, especially the women, need defensive training and organization.
The soldiers, having the knowledge through intelligence reports, understand the threat. They also know that they are obeying orders that stink of Left wing betrayal of their fellow Jews to enemies who, in six wars, have demonstrated clearly their intentions to wipe out the Jews - if they can. They know that the surrounding Muslim Arab population has spawned terrorists who have kidnapped and murdered Jews anywhere they could.
Prior experience tells us that when Arafat [now his companion Abu Mazen] gives one of his infamous "Green Lights", his people would turn into a howling mob of blood thirsty savages in a heart beat. Any Jewish community which they could overrun would likely turn into a killing field in case the IDF is delayed in coming to their defenses. The Arabs have and would again kill, mutilate, loot and butcher in a frenzy. When the fighting died down, they would celebrate and fire their rifles into the air with sheer exuberance as they do at their weddings [and pass out candy].
All of this has happened before and they pledge that it will again. Just listen to the radical Muslim clerics' sermons from the muezzins towers, calling the faithful Muslims to prayer and, incidentally, to kill the Jews. (Dear reader: Do you think this is an exaggeration as you are sitting in your western-style home on a civilized tree-lined street where such things just don't happen? You can read these sermons on the Internet if you really want to know the truth.)
Defense and Prime Minister Ehud Barak (former Chief of Staff), current Chief of Staff Gen. Shaul Mofaz and all their staff members know this. Should they choose to abandon the Jewish communities of YESHA, they will have betrayed their own people. If they choose NOT to Pre-Position weapons, sufficient ammunition and other vital equipment for every community of YESHA to defend itself, they will have made the decision to knowingly assist a dedicated, irridentist enemy.
Should they take these decisions NOT to Pre-Position and there is a concentrated assault, they will deserve nothing less than the judgements made about the Nazi officials at the Nuremberg Tribunals. These should be written and delivered to each commanding officer so, when it comes to obeying commands, driven by Leftist politics, they will have a personal choice to make. They will not be able to say: "We had to obey orders."
P.S. With respect to Egypt and Syria entering the fray - You are aware that Egypt, having absorbed $25 Billion [now in 2008 probably $60+ Billion] American tax-payers' dollars, has spent all of it on re-arming with state-of-the-art American equipment. Egypt is now considered by Israel's military as a great threat. That was made clear recently during joint military exercises with the U.S. called Operation Bright Star, when a leading Egyptian General stated that "We must prepare for the inevitable war with Israel." American Sec. of Defense William Cohen did not comment although he was there. But, then again Israel has signed document of peace, with President Jimmy Carter's signature - so why worry about Egyptian threats?!
The solution is to eject this compromised leader, Ehud Barak [and Ehud Olmert], out of office and into a void reserved for the incompetent - unethical - naive and totally dishonest.

I have a feeling they are planning to start with the Binyamin region of the Shomron. Think about it; where did they remove the checkpoints this time? Only in that part of Yesha. IDF Removes Hundreds of Rifles from Yesha Communities

Members of emergency teams were allowed to retain their weapons, but one Yesha security officer said that the military establishment has refused to authorize weapons for new team members, even though several of them are experienced combat officers. The Defense Ministry has been planning the removal of the weapons for two years but previously backed down in the face of continuing Arab terrorism.
Security officials of the communities expressed concern that they will be left with little defense at the same time that the government has ordered the removal of dozens of roadblocks and blockades designed to restrict travel by Arab terrorists.

Man Dies in Tel Aviv, Hamas Claims Responsibility
(IsraelNN.com) Police found the body of a 36-year-old man on Nahalat Binyamin Street in Tel Aviv on Monday evening. The man was naked and had been stabbed several times before falling from a height.
While police originally assumed the man was murdered, forensics experts later announced that the death was a suicide. The man's stab wounds were self-inflicted, they said.
At approximately the same time, Hamas media in Gaza proudly announced that a Hamas terrorist had murdered a "Zionist settler" in "occupied Tel Aviv." Security sources said they had no reason to believe the Hamas report was accurate. Hamas and other terrorist groups often claim responsibility for deaths that they did not cause, they added.

Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will present the Jewish people a birthday present which may come in the form of a poisoned apple. Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will knowingly accept the poison and feed it to the Jews of Israel and World Jewry - as he did in Gush Katif/Gaza. Actually, we do not yet know what poison will be chosen and the Bush/Olmert regimes will, of course, not tell us in advance lest we find an antidote.
Let us speculate on what this black hearted cabal might have been working on for Israel's 60th Birthday:
1. It might be an under-the-table document like the Oslo Accords were when then PM Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres brewed up, in secrecy, the surrender of 7 cities in Eretz Yisrael to Yassir Arafat which inevitably became official Terrorist encampments.
2. It might be a document to be signed by Olmert, Bush and Abbas with Bush as a guarantor, to relinquish all Jewish rights to Judea and Samaria. (The idea is that once the Prime Minister of Israel signs a document from the position of his lofty office, thereafter, it is an irrevocable commitment by all of Israel - (whether they voted for it or not) - before all other world bodies. Naturally, it would be planned to by-pass any Knesset vote or Peoples' Referendum. 3. Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzippi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, in collusion with Bush, Rice, the U.S. State Department - with James Baker III as advisor, could sign a document dividing Jerusalem (G-d forbid). With that, they would abrogate any claim to sovereignty that the Jewish people have over the Land of Israel granted to the Jewish people by G-d in perpetuity.
4. It may be recalled that U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney stated plainly in a joint news conference with PM Ehud Olmert that "The U.S. will never pressure Israel to risk her security." We all took this as a statement of truth. But, apparently, Bush, Rice and Cheney had something else in mind - as a different interpretation. Their idea was to follow the Rice, Baker "Road Map", calling for Israel to achieve that "thing" called security and peace. The "Road Map" intended for Israel to "Divide Jerusalem" as a false capital for a "non-people" who began to call themselves "Palestinians" - And also to abandon Judea and Samaria with all of its homes and infrastructure intact and gift it to 3 to 5 million so-called "Palestinians" who are going to be ejected from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and anywhere else in the world where they might be incarcerated by their host countries. This betrayal was Yassir Arafat's idea for his future state with all Jews driven from the Land. If you doubt that, he said it often and wore the whole State of Israel as the second State of Palestine on his uniform, in his stationary, on TV broadcasts, maps, flags, etc.
Then Syria plans to take over the Golan Heights with Israel's primary source of fresh water. Olmert, Barak and Livni have been in negotiation with Bashar Assad, denials notwithstanding. This and more was to provide Israel with that chimera of "security and peace" that Cheney spoke about "never pressing Israel to risk her security".
5. When these evil-minded people assemble in Jerusalem, on May 10th, they will either come with the proverbial poisoned apple or poison pen document to once again try to eliminate the Jewish nation, claiming they are saving Israel from ourselves.
6. A lame duck President and his black hearted Secretary of State come to celebrate, NOT the holy re-birth of a nation but her demise. A President and his family who are tied to the Arab and multi-national oil industry that has totally crippled the American economy, ruining millions of Americans' lives, now comes like a nefarious Trojan Horse to cripple the Jewish nation and appease the Arab Muslims nations. It is little wonder that America is being battered by a recession - leading to a probable Depression, among other natural catastrophes.
7. No doubt, other plans are in the works to subvert Israel's ability to defend herself against the combined forces of Islam and the Europeans, in lockstep with those plans.
Perhaps, Israel will be given the dubious honor of joining NATO so international forces can be placed in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and all of the parts of Jerusalem occupied by Jordan for 19 years from 1948 to 1967 - until Israeli soldiers liberated it. Ah, Yes, imagine Jerusalem as Saigon, with foreign troops strolling the streets, looking for Jewish girls to get laid on a week-end pass. Saigon became the Vietnamese whore house of that nation. But, that is only one benefit of security in the Bush, Rice, Olmert Livni, Barak plans of a false Peace and the Big Bush Legacy.
8. Better Bush and Rice send a telegram of Happy Birthday and stay home. The American people like and admire the plucky little nation of Israel. There is no desire by the average American to own or control Israel - except for a failed President and his jew hating mouth piece C. Rice, working out her adolescent problems of racism of Southern Whites.
Stay home, Mr. President. Israel has enough of its own corrupt venal politicians who wish to de-Judaize the Jewish Nation on her 60th Birthday.
I cannot help but wonder what George Bush will do as the Muslims and Arabs of Syria, Iran, Hezb'Allah, Hamas, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt gather their well-armed forces again to attack Israel. We already know that the cowardly Olmert will seek to restrain Israel's military as Olmert has done under the threats of C. Rice. If there is a war of all the parties, with America attacking Iran, will Bush and Rice still try to appease the Muslim world by feeding Israel to them as the sacrificial lamb and, thereby, dampen their anger. We Jews have been betrayed by experts over the centuries. In brief, one cannot trust a regime that says it will fight Terror and then sends millions of American tax-payers dollars to Muslim Arab Palestinian Terrorists.
We expect that of Iran and Syria who are designated State Sponsors of Terror because they also send money, train Terrorists and supply weapons.

FOOD SHORTAGES ALL OVER THE WORLD. STOCK UP!

*** All over the world, food is causing trouble. Why? Not because there is too much of it or too little, but because it has gone way up in price.
Why has it gone up? Well, for one reason, Ben Bernanke and other monetary authorities are pushing more money into the world financial system. The cash has to go somewhere. Much of it seems to be finding its way into the commodities markets – including soft commodities, notably food. In other words, worldwide inflation of food prices is a monetary phenomenon, as Milton Friedman might have put it, not a feature of the weather. But rather than attack the cause of inflation, the authorities are aiming squarely at its consequences.
Of course, there are other reasons for food price increases. There are a lot more people in the world than there used to be. And the new people have to eat too. Since many of these new people are entering the 'middle class' they have more money to spend on food, so they can bid up prices. And, typically, they want more meat. It takes more land to produce meat than it does to produce grains – putting further pressure prices all up and down the food chain.

New Sderot Law Center Urges Suing Government
(IsraelNN.com) A new Sderot Legal Aid Society has been created to help Sderot residents prepare documents and testimony to sue the government for lack of protection. The Sderot Information Center announced that the new group will engage a major law firm that will represent Sderot families.
It explained the action is necessary because the government has argued in the courts against providing protection to Sderot schools beyond the second grade and has delayed funds to repair local rocket shelters. The Center also accused the government of campaigning against adequate compensation for Sderot businesses and for not budgeting money to treat victims of nearly 7,000 rocket attacks on the city in the past seven and a half years.

The law prohibits the sale of bread products on Passover in public places, but a Jerusalem magistrate's court judge decided that "public places" does not include restaurants and grocery stores. She based her ruling on a classic Torah commentator's understanding that "public" means places where most people are present. US-Trained PA Battalion to Deploy in Jenin
(IsraelNN.com) The Palestinian Authority's newest,battalion will make its debut in the Samarian city of Jenin, about a 20 minute ride north of the first official deployment of the US-trained PA police force, in, Shechem.
Some 620 PA troops will take their positions after graduating special training in Jordan under the watchful eyes of US Army officials.
For the first time, hand-picked PA Arab "soldiers" were told bluntly by a PA Arab leader that their loyalty was to the PA alone; not to any one leader, but to the entity itself.
They were also warned for the first time that they must avoid conflict with Israel.
The PA had originally requested the force to be stationed in Hevron, where Hamas has developed a strong presence. However, Israel rejected the request due to the equally strong nature of the Jewish community in the city, which is holy to Jews and which is home to the Cave of the Patriarchs, burial place of the Jewish forefathers and mothers.
The Jewish community in Hevron has frequently come under terrorist attack from PA Arabs. Several of the attacks have been perpetrated by members of the official PA police force, albeit not carried out officially.

(IsraelNN.com) Arab affairs correspondent Avi Yissacharov, who works for several media agencies including Army Radio, published an interview with the veteran commander of Fatah's Al-Aksa Brigades terrorist group.
Writing in Haaretz, Yissacharov describes a downtrodden demoralized Zakariya Zubeidi � once the brazen chief of Yasser Arafat's terrorist arm. He confirms that under Arafat, despite the Oslo Accords, he was receiving clear instructions from the terror chief.
"Everything that was done in the Intifada was done according to Arafat's instructions, but he didn't need to tell us the things explicitly. We understood his message," Zubeidi reminisced. "Back in [Arafat's] day, we had a plan, there was a strategy, and we would carry his orders."
Zubeidi is portrayed as having given up terrorism. Yissacharov paints a picture of a late-sleeping unemployed ex-terror chief with no gun and disillusioned with the future of the "struggle for Palestine":
Zubeidi: "Today I can say explicitly: We failed entirely in the Intifada. We haven't seen any benefit or positive result from it. We achieved nothing. It's a crushing failure. We failed at the political level - we didn't succeed in translating the military actions into political achievements. The current leadership does not want armed actions, and since the death of [Arafat] there's no one who is capable of using our actions to bring about such achievements. When [Arafat] died, the armed Intifada died with him."
Yissacharov: "What happened? Why did it die?"
Zubeidi: "Why? Because our politicians are whores. Our leadership is garbage. Look at Ruhi Fatouh, who was president of the PA for 60 days as Arafat's replacement. He smuggled mobile phones [last week]. Do you understand? We have been defeated. The political splits and schisms have destroyed us not only politically - they have destroyed our national identity. Today there is no Palestinian identity. Go up to anyone in the street and ask him, 'Who are you?' He'll answer you, 'I'm a Fatah activist,' 'I'm a Hamas activist,' or an activist of some other organization, but he won't say to you, 'I am a Palestinian.' Every organization flies its own flag, but no one is raising the flag of Palestine."
Asked if he was not, as a leader of the terror offensive against Israel, admitting defeat, Zubeidi answered: "Even Gamal Abdel Nasser admitted his defeat, so why not me?...We are marching in the direction of nowhere, toward total ruin. The Palestinian people is finished. Done for. Hamas comes on the air on its television station and says 'Fatah is a traitor.' That is to say, 40 percent of the nation are traitors. And then Fatah does the same thing and you already have 80 percent traitors."
Asked why he retired from terrorist, Zubeidi answered: "I got tired. When you lose, what can you do? We, the activists, paid the heavy price. We've had family members killed, friends. They demolished our homes and we have no way of earning a living. And what is the result? Zero. Simply zero. And when that's the result, you don't want to be a part of it any more. Lots of other people, as a result of the frustration, and because Fatah doesn't have a military wing any more, have joined the Islamic Jihad. Those activists are still willing to pay the price.

Today the PA is doing what Dayton and Israel are telling it to do, but at the end of the year, when Israel doesn't give the Palestinians a state, the PA is going to be thrown out. Judge Rules Paschal Sacrifice Practice "Proper," Appeal Filed
(IsraelNN.com) The Jerusalem Magistrate's court ruled Friday that the Jewish Temple movement may, under state law, slaughter a sheep on Sunday as a "general rehearsal" for the renewal of the Pesach (Passover) sacrifice. The judge even called the effort "proper," but organizers have been summoned to appear at 1 PM in the District Court after an animal rights groups filed another last-minute suit.
The slaughter is planned as part of a conference dedicated to studying and restoring the Jewish observance of the Korban Pesach, as it was called since it was first observed in Egypt. At the time of the Exodus, Jews slaughtered a sheep per family group, despite its status as a deity to the Egyptian oppressors. The blood was then applied to the doorposts of the Jewish homes.
Animal rights group "Tnoo Lachayot Lichyot" ("Let the Animals Live") had argued that the planned slaughter constituted illegal cruelty to an animal.
Although the slaughter will be identical to any correctly-performed kosher slaughter, and the animal consumed in a manner resembling the popular Israeli pastime - the mangal (barbecue) - the animal rights group compared it to dog-fighting and other spectator events performed at the expense of animals' pain.
In her ruling, judge Hagit Mac-Kalmanovich said, "I was not convinced by the argument that the given event would cause the animal more pain and suffering than the accepted methods of slaughter in slaughterhouses."
She rejected the group's comparison of the planned slaughter to illegal fights between animals, pointing out that only one animal was involved, and that it would not be harmed in any way prior to the actual slaughter. The event must be allowed under laws protecting freedom of religion, she concluded.
The conference is taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Yeshivat HaKotel, in the Old City of Jerusalem, overlooking the Temple Mount.
Organizers Summoned Once Conference Underway
A Tnoo Lachayot Lichyot official by the name of Yonatan arrived at Yeshivat HaKotel at around 10:15, once the conference was underway. He was accompanied by a police officer and Border Police soldier with his weapon drawn.
A summons was delivered to the organizers to appear for a 1 PM hearing on whether the slaughter will be permitted.
Arutz-7 asked Yonatan whether the suit was aimed at thwarting the planned educational program. "The main thing is that this circus not take place. They have no business having people gather around and watch as this barbaric act is perpetrated."
Asked how the event differed from any slaughter of animals by individual shochets (kosher slaughter experts), eside from the fact that the meat is going to feed the hungry, the animal rights group representative said, "I'm not interested in explaining right now, come to the court at 1 PM and see."

Psychotropic medicines should only be given by a qualified physician after an extensive examination and when there is truly no other choice. It is not the business of schools to dope up kids so they will sit like nice little zombies and not bother the teachers. Kids, all kids, have behavior problems. That is why they must be taught what is right and what is wrong. That is after all what it means to be a child, to be immature. It means that they do not always know what is the correct thing to do and make mistakes. It means that sometimes they loose control and even do very stupid things. They are CHILDREN.
If their parents and teachers are too lazy, stupid or confused to teach them how to behave, why should the children suffer by being put into a chemical straight jacket or sent into LAH LAH land?
I would require, by law, that prior to forcing a child to take any of these experimental drugs, that all those recommending the use be made to take the junk themselves. If after experiencing the effect they still believe that they are innocuous, then their opinion will have some weight.

Parents have the right to decide not to give their child Ritalin, the association said.
Education Ministry officials signed an order one year ago forbidding school officials from recommending or requiring the use of Ritalin and similar medications. The medications can have serious side effects and only a medical expert can determine when they should be used, officials said. The order was initiated by MK Sofa Landver (Yisrael Beiteinu), who has made several efforts to control the use of psychiatric medications among children.
Despite the order, Parents' Association members said, several parents have complained that schools have threatened to stop teaching their children if the children were not given psychiatric drugs. Parents who encounter such a situation should send a fax to the Parents' Association explaining what happened and giving their contact information, association workers said.

Israeli Arrested for Warding Off Intruders
(IsraelNN.com) A resident of the Jewish village of Mitzpe Eshael in the southern Hevron hills region was arrested on Thursday for firing in the air in an attempt to ward off local Arabs and extreme leftists who were approaching his community.
