ISRAEL TRUTH TIMES

A blog dedicated to investigating events as they occur in Judea and Samaria, in Israel and in the world, and as they relate to global powers and/or to the Israeli government, public figures, etc. It is dedicated to uncovering the truth behind the headlines; and in so doing, it strives to do its part in saving Judea and Samaria, and by extension, Israel and the Jewish People, from utter destruction at the hands of its many external and internal enemies.

For shame, for shame, for shame -- Naomi Ragen

A.M. sent this:

Some of you who read this will have no idea who this "Neville Chamberlain" was, nor why

we quote him or refer to him so often. This British Prime Minister (1937 – 1940) met with

Adolph Hitler, and Mussolini, and ceded Czechoslovakia to the Nazis in order to bring

about "peace in our time."  Appeasing the Nazis only emboldened them and reinforced

Hitler's belief in the Third Reich.  World War II was the result.  More than 26 million died.

Neville Chamberlain was a sincere man who hated war so strongly that he caused it.

Neville Chamberlain is the icon of failed appeasement. (He was also responsible for the

British White Paper of 1939 which restricted Jewish migration to Jewish "Palestine"

thereby ensuring the deaths of hundreds of thousands of European Jewish refugees.)

...

Arthur Neville Chamberlain, in the House of Commons, October 3, 1938.

"In my view the strongest force of all, one which grew and took fresh shapes
and forms every day was the force not of any one individual, but was that
unmistakable sense of unanimity among the peoples of the world that war must
somehow be averted.... The peoples of the British Empire were at one with
those of Germany, of France and of Italy, and their anxiety, their intense
desire for peace, pervaded the whole atmosphere ...

Ever since I assumed my present office my main purpose has been to work

for the pacification of Europe, for the removal of those suspicions and those

animosities which have so long poisoned the air.

The path which leads to appeasement is long and bristles with obstacles.

The question of Czechoslovakia is the latest and perhaps the most

dangerous. Now that we have got past it, I feel that it may be possible to

make further progress along the road to sanity.

Friends,

President of the  free world, Barack Obama, made a speech in Cairo that
should make any thinking person despair. And if that thinking person is a
Jew, then in addition, he should shake with fear.

None of this is surprising, given all we knew about President Obama before
he took office.  But the blatant misrepresentation  of historic Jewish rights

and ties to the land of Israel, which did not begin with the Holocaust, Mr.

President, and the blatant rewriting of Islamic fundamentalism, deliberately

omitting its virulent anti Semitism, its innate hatred of women, its gross
intolerance, tyranny, war-like nature and long history of barbaric terror
attacks sounds like  the same kind of wishful thinking that led the world
off the cliff only seventy years. Millions died because they had not the
courage to face the truth and to stand firm against tyranny, hatred, and
barbarism.

For shame to those who elected a man who instead of standing up to terror,
cowers to it. For shame to those who now will not stand up and be counted
against his agenda.  For shame to those who allow Iran to get a nuclear
bomb, and who abandon Israel, allowing her  to stand like Czechoslovakia,
the sacrificial lamb led to the slaughter to appease the unappeasable beast
of Islamic fundamentalism.   For shame, for shame, for shame.  History
taught this lesson: you too will not be spared. For shame to those with no
sense of history.  For shame, for shame, for shame, Barack Hussein Obama.
