They want high-tech workers, so they can spy on us better... in a way it is encouraging: it means that for the time being, the majority of them are technological illiterates ( wouldn't you agree?).



Shabak Agents to Write Blogs

(IsraelNN.com) Four members of the General Security Services (Shabak) will write about their work in Internet blogs.  The four, three men and one woman who work in information systems, will not give their real names, but will give readers some understanding of the kind of work they do.

The blogs are meant to encourage workers in the high-tech industry to consider working for the Shabak. The move follows the creation of an updated Shabak website in December of 2007.   While the old website included only basic information for those considering a career with the agency, the new website includes information on the organization, its history, and Shabak agents who have passed away.
