"She is a very important European and world leader, and a great friend of Israel, and she asked to speak in German," Ostfeld said.
 
She is a "great friend of Israel" in the same way the Vatican, CFR, Bush, Rice, etc. are friends to the Jesuit-masonic-controlled government of Israel.
 
Compare the smile on Ohmert's face and the grimace of Arye Eldad as he threatens to walk out.  Here you have the government's approval of Merkel's visit compared to the people's disapproval.
