Deputy Police Chief Lightly Injured in Umm El-Fahm
(IsraelNN.com) Shahar Ayalon, the deputy chief of the Israel police was lightly wounded in the head Tuesday morning, when he was hit in the head by rocks thrown at him during a march by Jewish nationalists in the Israeli Arab city of Umm el-Fahm, according to nana/10.
During disturbances that broke out in reaction to the march, other objects were thrown at the marchers and police were forced to fire riot-control weapons at the protestors.
