Group Formed to Stop Slander of Judea and Samaria Jews
(IsraelNN.com) Nationalist organizations, including the Legal Forum for the Land of Israel, decided Sunday to from a group to stop what they called the "witch hunt" being conducted against Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria, in the wake of weekend violence in Hevron in which Jewish residents and security forces were injured. The organizations met in light of what they view as, "the wave of incitement against the settlers." A number of ministers echoed the sentiments expressed by Shabak Israel Security Agency head Yuval Diskin at Sunday's meeting of the cabinet, that "right wing extremists" might target Israeli leaders on the eve of the 13th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin.
One of the group's organizers, Nachi Eyal said that "we will work to prevent the incitement and ongoing generalizations against the settlers, but we will also be partners in the demand to bring the criminals to justice."
