Over 30 Wounded in Razing of Beit El Youth Clubhouse
A busload of Border Guard policemen came out to Beit El Tuesday morning to protect Civil Administration personnel destroying a small structure. The one-room shack, measuring five-by-five meters, had been built by the town's youth a few months ago in protest of the construction freeze and was used intermittently as a youth club. It stood behind the offices of Arutz-7, out of sight and mind of most of the town's residents.

A bulldozer knocked down the walls around 9 a.m. without warning and without opposition. However, by the time the forces attempted to leave, dozens of youths had blocked their way - sitting on the street in front of the bus, and placing two large trash bins in their path behind them. They succeeded in blocking them for almost two hours, until the police began using clubs and tear gas to "break the siege." Police arrested four protesters during the operation.
"30 protestors were wounded and two had to be evacuated for further medical treatment," Magen David Adom's Moshe Eliyah told Israel National News.
A group of youths and adults made their way back to the site of the destroyed structure, starting to rebuild it even as the police forces were still there.
The bulldozer destroyed the walls, and started on the concrete floor but abandoned the job after a few minutes. The town's Rabbi Zalman Baruch Melamed and Mayor Moshe Rosenbaum were on the scene as well. Rabbi Melamed attempted to negotiate with the police for the release of the four arrested protesters. "I told the police that if they released the protesters fully, then I would call for the others to allow the police to leave Beit El peacefully. But the police refused my offer," Rav Melamed related to Israel National News.
"Israel is ours," said Rav Melamed, "We have a right to this land. There is no place that is more ours than this place. All through the generations we have waited and hoped for the land of Israel. We must strengthen it now and not give up."
Police Commander Moti Shushan, who headed the operation, told his version of the events to Israel National News. "We escorted the Civil Administration into Beit El, to ensure their security as they removed an illegal structure," said Shushan. "Dozens of locals began to violently protest the action, and began throwing stones and blocks on my forces. One protester even took a gas grenade from a police vest that was lying in a police jeep and threw it on us. So we responded by spraying them with pepper spray. Eight policemen were wounded by the protesters. I don't know how many protesters were wounded."

A religious female journalist (pictured above) said she was also sprayed in the face with pepper spray. "The police apologized for spraying me; they said it was a mistake, and that it happened because I was too close by. It stung terribly and it still hurts a lot," she complained, her eyes red and blinking.
MK Ben-Ari Mocks Barak on Beit El Raid, Flotilla
He stated, "Barak sends soldiers with paint-ball guns to fight terrorists and sends border police with clubs and tear gas to fight the settlers. Too bad they don't understand who is worthy of fighting against."
At least 20 youth were injured. The police came to back up the Civil Administration who came with a bulldozer to destroy a one room shack they said was in defiance of the building freeze for Jewish Residents of Judea and Samaria.

Report: Obama Nixed Anti-Riot Gear on Flotilla
The White House has not commented on the report.
The report claimed that Defense Minister Ehud Barak accepted Obama's demand, possibly due to his hopes that America will agree to sell advanced weapons to Israel.
It says that the American demand was made despite Israeli intelligence reports indicating possible danger aboard one ship, the Mavi Marmara, which carried primarily Turkish citizens, many of them members of the pro-terrorist IHH organization. Intelligence agents had found that many of the Turkish passengers were trained in weapons use and hand-to-hand combat; their assessments were relayed to the White House.
Ultimately, soldiers boarded the ships with paintball guns and pistols instead of traditional anti-riot gear such as tear gas and rubber bullets. They were quickly overpowered by passengers on the Mavi Marmara, who were armed with clubs and knives. After two soldiers were critically wounded and dragged below deck, a commando opened fire , killing nine passengers and successfully ending the attack.
Obama did not condemn the IDF response, but since the flotilla incident, he has sought to ease tension with Turkey, and has called on Israel to ease its blockade on Gaza.
UPDATE:
PROOF THAT EHUD BARAK IS IN CAHOOT WITH THE CIA, i.e. THE INTERNATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES INVOLVED IN THE FLOTILLA ORGANIZATION
Busy Day Begins for Barak
Later in the day, the Labor party chairman was scheduled to meet with Director Leon Panetta of the Central Intelligence Agency. Just before 11 p.m. Israel time, he will meet with Vice President Joe Biden at the White House. Joining that meeting will be White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and National Security Advisor James Jones. Other officials on the agenda are State Department adviser Dennis Ross and president Robert Wexler of the Washington-based Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation.

The Kommemiyut organization responded to the border police raid in Beit El earlier Tuesday by saying that “the rotten traditions of the government and those leading it were on display in Beit El today. We regret the lack of backbone among our national leaders, who let the Defense Minister continue his criminal activities against citizens loyal to the land and country. The crime in Beit El today was exacerbated coming only a short time after the burial of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, who loved the people and land of Israel. If just a small measure of the force used in Beit El had been used against the terrorists in the Gaza flotilla last week, no IDF soldiers would have been injured at all,” the group said in a statement.
