Anti-Semitic Attack Strikes Another New York Synagogue

(Israelnationalnews.com) Anti-Semitic vandals sprayed two large orange swastikas on the front doors of Congregation Beth Shalom Chabad in Mineola, New York on Friday. The attack came only a week after vandals sprayed swastikas on two Manhattan synagogues.

Rabbi Anchelle Perl, the Chabad emissary in Mineola, discovered the swastikas first when he arrived at the synagogue in the morning hours, according to Newsday. Three cars parked nearby were also spray painted in a similar fashion.

"As soon as I came and saw it was a swastika, I realized this was a bias crime," Perl said. "My father survived Auschwitz … so this strikes home a lot … He taught us not to have any hatred, even though he saw so much hatred."

Perl received calls of support from state Senator Craig Johnson and Mineola Mayor Jack Martins.

"This is not just an attack on the Jewish community, this is an attack on people of all faiths," said Johnson's chief of staff. "It is outrageous that such hate-filled acts continue in this day and age."

this is coming from the committee of 300 and the vatican... not from neo-nazis or muslims... even if one of these groups held the spray cans... nik.
