WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ISRAEL'S SECURITY FORCES?

Once upon a long time ago, the Israeli people relied on the courts, Shabak (GSS), the police and the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). We were all proud of what was ethical behavior. People did not think of the system's growing political corruption. Policemen were our friends and never to be feared as was the case in Egypt, Syria, Iran and especially Russia.

How proud we all were of the Secret Services of Mossad and Shabak! Even the Judges, like Shamgar were considered honorable. But, that began to change under Leftist leadership who began to pack all the systems with political Leftists who would work against all those who were pejoratively called "The Political Right".

The once honored pioneering settlers suddenly became the reason (according to the Left) that Palestinian Arab Muslims and the Arab Muslim world rampaged against the Jewish State. The fact of the conflict were brushed aside and, in its place, the new formula was "appeasement in the hope Terror would cease". After countless gestures of unreciprocated appeasement, conventional wisdom should have surfaced, indicating that the Arab Muslims were dedicated to "Jihad" (Holy War for Islam) and the liquidation of the Jewish State of Israel cannot be reasoned with.

After each gesture of appeasement, like releasing convicted Terrorists, transfers of Land to Muslim Arab Sovereignty through Oslo 1, 2, Wye, Gush Katif/Gaza, Jews were murdered, blown up in restaurants, buses, Seders, shot by drive-by snipers, slaughtered in their own homes.... Cruel judges are using their power to sentence teen-age girls to be held in prison and abused by the Police. Courts, under the influence of Shabak, sentence unarmed protestors, from teen-agers to fathers to long prison terms aways from their young families while a hopelessly corrupt government releases hundreds of Terrorists who immediately return to their bloody business of killing Jews.

Jewish prisoners of conscience are not pardoned nor allowed brief releases as used to be the custom until the Courts, under Aharon Barak and the judicial system went bad - and then got worse!

For years, the Left recognized that the IDF (Israel Defense Force) was an excellent incubator for future politicians and so, officers were chosen for their PC (Political Correctness). Did you really think that the current Defense Minister Ehud Barak moved quickly through the ranks because he was supposed to be a great military thinker. But, take a look at what he did not do during his term as Chief of Staff. The training went down; the equipment was not kept to standard but, regrettably that also happened when Arik Sharon became Prime Minister. Corruption through the ranks was the rule, not the exception - which is how Israel lost its first war against Hezb'Allah in July/August 2006, denials notwithstanding.

Perhaps what Israel needs is a King who jails corrupters in every echelon of government. This includes the Media elites and all of the above. As with trained attack dogs, once they turn ugly there is nothing one can do but put them down.  But, people are not wild dogs who cannot be re-programmed.   It's literally a crying shame that the Leftist politicians were allowed to plant their moles at the highest levels so they could have their own private Police Force to intimidate the people.

The once honored, admired, ever-loved Shabak, Mossad, Police, IDF, Attorneys Generals and Presidents have become playthings for the politicians. Certain Army brigades called Yassam (or Yatom) were gathered for their psychological imperfections so they could be relied upon to attack the Jewish protestors of government policy with cruelty reminiscent of the Jew-hating Cossacks or Stalin's KGB.

In all fairness, when the Shabak and Police are NOT in an attack modes against the pioneering settlers, they do their job against Muslim Arab Palestinian Terrorists. Unfortunately, the time spent attacking Jews or assigning "agents provocateurs" to infiltrate towns or organizations of the Right takes away from the time necessary to keep Terror at bay.

Worse yet is the government's policy of releasing Terrorists from prison who were originally captured at the risk of life by Army-Police-Shabak- who will now have to re-capture them when they return to their murderous livelihood as they have proven to be recidivists. Every death of every Jew by a released Terrorists will be the on-going fault of Olmert in his useless gestures to keep Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen) afloat and to please Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Meanwhile, the Arabist Courts of Israel intimidate Israeli citizens, being pelted with rocks or being shot at. Jews, including soldiers who return incoming fire, are then assaulted by the pro-Arab Court system and sentenced to jail for doing their job in saving their lives. In a normal country, biased judges and those who gave them the orders to deliver harsh sentences would have long since been dealt with.

Regrettably, the system has grown so hopelessly corrupt that only radical surgery will start the cure.

Clearly, Israel needs the equivalent of an American Revolution to clean out the pig-stye of corruption that has accumulated over the past few years. Perhaps it will never happen and the clean out will take place (G-d Forbid) under the conquest of Islamic "Jihadists" (Holy warriors for Islam). If we do NOT clean out our own house of corruption then we have chosen our own fate.
