This from D-A in Jerusalem:
Didja' hear? Didja know? I just now did, but I didn't know: on Reshet Bet, Prof. Shlomo Aaronson on Sabbatical at U of Ariz., in discussing candidate McCain's shoot from the hip verbal style, brought up the fact that his brother, Joe, is a Ger Tzedek [JG note: a convert to Judaism], to the utter astonishment of the interviewer, a Prof. himself, He remarked that [subtext being, 'hopefully'] this would likely hurt McCain in his presidential aspirations. "But," said Aaronson, "Not so much in America. [They] know a brother is just a brother and a wife is a wife..." and he further quoted Brother Joe, "If the Muslims think they are going to do away with the Jews, they should know that this time we'll take them all with us" [!] The host asked if he really said that, to which Aaronson replied, "In those words, precisely." The host then blurted, "Mumash olam meturaff" [JG: literally, "truly, an insane world"], and then, "Unbelievable!".
