Holy Land Shakes, Rattles
(IsraelNN.com) A relatively strong earthquake shook Israel from (northern) tip to (southern) toe Friday at around 12:40 P.M. Magen David Adom reported no casualties. The tremor lasted for about 10 seconds and was felt from Nahariya to Beersheva.
The quake follows another tremor that occurred Monday night, at 1:50 A.M.. That tremor was measured at 4.0 on the Richter scale and was felt from Kiryat Shemona to Jerusalem.
Another quake occurred about three months ago. It measured 4.1 on the Richter scale and was centered in the coastal plain.
