Yesha Spokesman: Local Leaders Persecuted Over Outposts

(IsraelNN.com) Yesha Council Chairman Danny Dayan said Tuesday that local government heads in Judea and Samaria are being hounded by police over construction activity. "Every week some of them find themselves in interrogation rooms," Dayan told Arutz 7 in Hebrew.

Dayan spoke after hearing that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was preparing the public in Israel for another Disengagement Plan, this time in Judea and Samaria. Olmert reportedly gave an interview to the Jerusalem Post in which he spoke of the need to divide Jerusalem.
