Very important article by Attorney Dov Even -Or. However, according to my knowledge, Dov doesn't see the missing link: the US are but the PAWNS and WILLING EXECUTIONERS of the VATICAN!! There is plenty of evidence to prove it.

Dear Friends,

I ACCUSE THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT!

(The Israeli governments have contributed their own negligence to the situation and Ulmert's government more than the previous ones)

  1. 'Haaretz' of January 10, 2008 published an article of Israel Harel in which he says that Bush should not be called bitter enemy of Israel like the evil Haman. This analogy only indicates the mental state of those who say so, and if they are leaders of public opinion, they should be removed! And why, according to Harel, are those people 'insane' (my own terminology)? Since not Bush but the Israeli government had conceived of the idea of 'two states for two peoples'; and in the eyes of a suppressed statesman, the idea seems logical and worthy of support. I find it hard to believe that an illustrious journalist like Harel does not remember the political history of the United States; maybe Israel has no foreign policy, only home policy (to paraphrase the famous speech made by Henry Kissinger), but in the US it is even worse: only economical interests exist camouflaged by slogans and rhetoric called 'bringing Democracy to the nations of the world'.

  2. Here is the essence of the American policy in the Middle East and some of the rest of the world since 1939 (this is not a coincidence that the historical survey coincides with the beginning of WWII).

    1. The USA was aware of what was going on in Nazi Germany since the rise of Hitler to power, but did not lift a finger! During WWII, the men of Roosvelt's administration knew about the extermination of the Jewish people, but said nothing. It was possible to bomb the concentration camps, but not a bomb was thrown (even in 1945, when the defeat of Germany was clear).

    2. In 1947, on the eve of the foundation of the Jewish State, the US was against the creation of the State of Israel, and only a conversation between President Truman and his former Jewish business associate in a furniture store, changed the American position. In spite of the recognition of the State of Israel, when the Arab states invaded the newly born Jewish State, the US once more didn't lift a finger, being convinced that the Arabs would conquer us within several days and that therefore there was no reason to jeopardize the Middle Eastern connection.

    3. In 1956, President Eisenhauer ordered Ben Gurion to withdraw from the entire Sinai Desert, in spite of the nationalization of the Suez Canal by Nasser, fearing damage to the relationship with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Emirates who were already holding on to large oil fields that were run by American oil companies.

    4. On the eve of the outburst of the Six Day War, President Lindon Johnson refused to implement a convention of defense that had existed between the US and Israel, (claiming that it was not found in the archives of the Foreign Office and therefore P.M. Levi Eshkol feared to open a war against Egypt due to the Russian threat.

    5. During the Yom Kippur War, there was a change in policy; an airlift of weapons and ammunition took place after the temporary victory of Egypt and Syria. There is still a question mark over the change of policy of Richard Nixon. One of the versions is that a 'deal' was struck between the US and Egypt to enable the Egyptians to re-conquer the Canal and thus to restore the Egyptian honor after the defeat of the Six Day War; but the Egyptians continued East and caused heavy casualties to the IDF. The airlift came to indicate the Egyptians that 'enough was enough'.

    6. After the Yom Kippur War, the USA made heavy efforts to bring to the restitution of the whole of Sinai to the Egyptians, agreement signed in Camp David in 1978. When Begin signed the peace treaty with Egypt, and restored every grain of Egyptian soil, this was not enough, but he also recognized the 'legitimate rights of the Palestinian people'. Then new pressures started concerning the Palestinians, which culminated in the confiscation of the financial guarantees (owed to us) by Bush the father, unless Yitschak Shamir agrees to the opening of peace negotiations with the Palestinians. That was the background to the Madrid Conference, which must be blamed on the Americans more than anybody else!

    7. On the background of the results of the Madrid Conference, Yitschak Shamir was kicked out and Yitschak Rabin became Prime Minister (1992). Barely one year after Rabin's election, the first Oslo agreement was born and the seeds of calamity were sown; these seeds became a huge tree whose spoilt fruit we are eating until today. It was not enough that begin was forced to recognize the rights of the Palestinian people (his reading being only the civil rights, such as language and culture), but now we have to give support to the foundation of a Palestinian autonomy. The moment we 'recognized' the autonomy, we were compelled to accept the idea of 'two states to two peoples', i.e. there is a Palestinian people and they deserve a state. In spite of the fact that the Palestinian Authority has not kept any agreement, it didn't deter the Americans from striving for the foundation of a Palestinian State. On the contrary, the pressure increased and even a man like Ariel Sharon broke down (the left would never have convinced him to get out of the Ghazza Strip, if it weren't for American pressure and even possible threats).

    8. President Bush (Jr.) knows that the Arabs have stopped talking about two states for two peoples, because they mean the foundation of a single state that belongs to all its citizens!! The Americans keep quiet when the Arabs speak about the Law of Return to Palestine and they say nothing when the Israeli and Palestinian Arabs demand the annulment of this law. What is the connection between the foundation of a Palestinian State and the Law of Return, which concerns only the State of Israel? If they only wanted to have a Palestinian State, they would not interfere with the home policy of the State of Israel (the Law of Return is strictly the business of Israel's interior policy).

  1. The 'blind' idea of having another (Palestinian) state between the Sea and the Jordan would not have gained momentum even if the members of 'Matzpen' had amounted to one thousand people in the beginning, and the 'Peace Now' movement wouldn't have existed until today if Europe and the USA had not poured huge sums of money into its pockets. Yitschak Rabin would not have signed the first Oslo Agreement if America had not put pressure on him (Shamir was strong, but compared to him, Rabin was a lamb). The Israeli governments would not have reached this point if it wasn't for the American threats on them (in 1995, Rabin decided to go back from the Oslo Agreement, but the Americans didn't let him; it is possible that this is how Begin paid with his life). Benjamin Netanyahu would not have withdrawn from Hebron without American threats and Barak would not have offered to withdraw from Judea and Samaria without Clinton's 'ideas'.

  2. 'Our' Prime Ministers have made their contribution of negligence by making concessions to the Palestinians, but one thing is clear: the Americans donated money only to parties that ran a candidate who sided with the idea of a Palestinian State asap. That is how Rabin was elected and managed to defeat Shamir in 1992 and Barak defeated Netanyahu in 1999. The election of Sharon in 2001 was not an exception to the rule. The American sensed that Barak was not able to 'deliver' and only a strong leader like Sharon could make the major concessions they expected! Once elected, Sharon got the 'bear hug' from Bush!!

  3. See how America has been and is acting in the world towards the establishment of democracy. In South America it has always supported dictatorial and fascistic regimes. In the Middle East it protects the corrupt regimes of the Saudi monarchy and the Gulf emirates. The invasions to Iraq were not meant to eliminate a tyrannical ruler, otherwise Bush Sr. would not have stopped 200km before Baghdad, but would have eliminated Saddam Hussein. In Pakistan, another dictator has been ruling for the past 6 years, after a military coup and is keeping the Supreme Court shut down, but America says nothing. In Africa there has never been an attempt to institute democracy, and America has never interfered against dictatorial regimes. When the Genocide burst out in Rwanda, the State Department ignored it once more.

  4. Therefore, Mr. Harel, ask yourself who George Bush Jr. really is. Knowing the real intentions of the Arabs, he keeps putting pressure on us to give more and more. How come that, after years of campaigning against Iran, as a major threat, the last intelligence report was born that contradicts everything claimed so far? How come that simultaneously with the report quiet was restored in Iraq? Did Bush sell us to the Arabs in exchange for peace in Iraq? I don't believe Bush is anti-Semitic either, but he has bought the different governments for the price of loss of land, identity, political strength and military strength.

Therefore, those who claim that Bush is a danger to the future of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel are right. If Israel Harel doesn't see that, he should be removed from his job as preacher at the gate, since, by directing the fire towards the Israeli Government and the left, he lets the biggest danger to our existence off the hook and strengthens it. In conclusion, we can manage with the Arabs, but it is more difficult to deal with our 'friends'!!

Yours truly, Dov Even-Or
