PRISON:

If it is one isolated person that defends himself or herself, the deviants in the israeli courtier system will do it, but IF ALL people are so prepared and acting, the israeli unJews will have one H... of a problem making it stick.

 

A ROAD BLOCK manned by Jews will be equally subjected to the unJews persecution. 

Basically the "GoI" has made every effort to murder by proxy, demoralize and persecute Jews. We must turn the table around And to do that risks are involved.

 

How will the unJews react:

They will probably have Shabak provocateurs use slingshots under particularly negative conditions to defame legitimate defenders. Counter intelligence ability will be needed to identify said provocateurs and deal with them as required.

DS, since you live right in the heart of YESHA, whose ears can you access to HEAR Shmuel's cogent assessment? It cannot be that the Arabs get to create mayhem, AND the IDF ignores the needs of YESHA too.

Perhaps all those so called 'wild' hilltop youth would be interested in this idea. Surely the regular citizens terrorized by the rocks in YESHA will likely join in. Most of the times I think part of our problem is that we are too civilized and do NOT think like the enemy. One can only fight fire with fire, not fire with milk toast.

Theoretically your idea would be good. Just two caveats:

1.Stones thrown while driving are not accurate, and opening the window for that matter only endangers the passengers even more ( don't forget that we all have stone-proof plastic/glass installed on our cars).

2. Knowing the JUSTICE of the authorities here, what would happen is that EVERYBODY would get arrested, the Arabs released immediately - or not caught "by accident"", while the Jews would have lengthy legal proceedings leading to prison sentences ranging from 5-15 years in prison for attempted murder.

I am not sure that considering this, throwing stones back is the right answer, but then, I am a woman, and women are notorious chickens when it comes to real battle!

That said, the self-manned checkpoints are really the best answer yet. HOW TO????

Those rocks are not meant to cause "fatal accidents" but meant to murder.

One person was murdered by a rock during the 2002 revolt in the costal highway.

 

HOW TO:

We used to make pretty niftily slingshots many years back using heavy car inner tubes

rubber strips and as projectiles alluvial stones or ball bearings.  For a few shekels those

can be made now as well.  And they are effective. Ask Goliath... ;)

At 25 to fifty meters those things could easily drop a horse.

I presume that stone throwing arm could also be rendered unusable for many months.

 

Jews must, simply must...

Set up our own CHECKPOINTS and have the people trained for self defense.

Rock Throwing Spreads, One Injured

(IsraelNN.com) Arab stone throwers, hoping to cause a fatal accident, escalated their attacks throughout Judea and Samaria Wednesday, causing widespread damage and injuring at least one person lightly near the community of Aleh Zahav. The driver was treated by medics who arrived at the scene and was not hospitalized.

Several vehicles were damaged on Highway 60 between Kiryat Arba/Hevron and Jerusalem, and on the highway between Kfar Saba and the communities of Ginot Shomron and Kedumim. Both highways have been plagued by stone throwing for several months, but "good will" measures by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert have limited the number of checkpoints on the highways.
