Turks Help Hamas Welcome Anti-Israel Ships

(Israelnationalnews.com) Turkish aid is instrumental in helping Hamas clean and prepare the Gaza port, in preparation for the arrival of the anti-Israel protest flotilla later this month.
Pro-PLO organizations in Europe that have aligned themselves with Hamas are planning a flotilla of aid to the Gaza Strip.  The coordinators of what some call the “ship intifada” want to avoid confrontation with Egypt, but appear to be seeking a confrontation with the Israeli navy, backed by media and diplomatic campaigns.
This past January, a senior Hamas operative in Britain named Muhammad Sawalha, who was involved in launching the previous flotilla, said the next convoy will avoid the type of confrontation that occurred the previous time with Egypt, and that next time, “the confrontation will be directly with the Zionist enemy itself on the high seas.”

Swiss MP Josef Zisyadis, one of several European MPs and UN personnel who will be on the ships, together with nearly 600 others, threatened that “if Israel tries to stop the ships, we will sue her in European courts.”

The major organizations and personalities involved in organizing the flotilla are IHH, an Islamic-oriented human rights organization in Turkey; a European organization named The European Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza; and the international “Free Gaza” organization that rails against the Israeli “blockade” of Gaza. In addition, the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC), based in Ramat HaSharon, Israel, states that pro-PLO activists from Sweden and Greece have purchased two ships for the flotilla, and Hamas supporters in Britain – including MP George Galloway - are also involved in organizing the upcoming flotilla and others.
Arutz-7’s Haggai Huberman reports that Turkish elements are helping to clean and deepen the port, in preparing for the arrival of the ships. “Free Gaza” and IHH are coordinating among the various organizations that are taking part in the flotilla and accompanying propaganda campaign.
The ships plan to deliver building materials, medical equipment, school briefcases and even caravans – mobile homes without wheels – for the Hamas-run entity in Gaza.
One of the ships, from Malaysia, will be loaded in Ireland with items donated by citizens in Ireland, Scotland, Britain and elsewhere. It will leave Ireland next week, and will meet up with the other ships in the Mediterranean, from where they will continue on towards Gaza.

c. Passenger list: no list of passengers has been published as of yet. According to previous reports, the participants in the flotilla will include human rights activists, parliament members, and journalists. The name of Josef Zisyadis, a member of the Greek Legislative Council, came up as one of the politicians to take part in the flotilla. At least some of the ships will sail under the flags of their respective countries to make them more difficult to hit. In that context, Josef Zisyadis said that under international law, if Israel interferes with the flotilla there will be grounds to file a complaint against it in European courts, since it has no right to deny passage to vessels in international water (Safa, May 5, 2010).

Vous ne nous faites pas peur, monsieur le Turc - ou est-ce monsieur le Grec?-

  Maintenant je suis confuse. Vous etes conseiller vaudois, et apparemment, cependant aussi conseiller en Grece, ce pays qui ne sait pas se gouverner et qui coute une fortune au monde entier. Est-ce que la Suisse sait que vous servez deux pays en meme temps? N'est-ce pas un conflit d'interet, monsieur le conseiller? Qui est-ce qui doit se faire poursuivre en justice,  monsieur le conseiller Suisse - oh , pardon, Grec- oh, pardon, Turc; est-ce Israel, ou serait-ce vous-meme? Vous avez aussi viole la constitution de votre canton, n'est-ce pas, Josef-le-Rouge??

Nous savons exactement d'ou vous venez, qui vous etes. Soyez content que la Suisse vous ait accepte dans notre pays. Vous ne le meritiez vraiment pas, avec votre haine, votre venin contre les Juifs, et votre loyaute divisee.

Vous ne gagnerez pas cette bataille, n'en doutez pas. Vous etes une honte, un embarras pour le peuple Suisse. 


PS: the interesting thing is,  according to his biography, (link above), he converted to Swiss Protestantism upon becoming Swiss illegally ( were it not for some shenanigans by a friend in high places). He was born in Turkey, his Greek grandfather fought against the Ottomans, his name is Josef, his brother's name is Abraham. Is there a Jewish connection there? That would not be surprising. Typical enemy of the Jewish people.

At any rate, he strikes me as the Swiss version of Obama: a Swiss with very tenuous Swiss credentials, who sneaked into Swiss government through the back door. Is Switzerland supporting his activism against Israel? For all practical purposes he shouldn't really have Swiss citizenship at all.

U.S. Neutrality Act Violated by Gaza Boat Organizers, Shurat HaDin Warns California

Sacramento: In an urgent letter dispatched to The Hon. Edmond G. Brown, Attorney General of the State of California, Shurat HaDin director Nitsana Darshan-Leitner warns the AG that the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), and others, have conspired to violate the U.S. Neutrality Act, 18 U.S.C. § 960, within the boundaries of his state.

Attorney Darshan-Leitner writes in her letter that the organizers of the "Gaza Boat" program have violated the Neutrality Act by illegally raising money in California to bankroll two boats which they plan to sail into Gaza on August 5. The boats are reportedly leaving Piraeus, Greece with ISM members on board on August 1. Based on prior experience, serious concerns that the boats will be carrying weapons, explosives and contraband have been raised by security experts.

The U.S. Neutrality Act that is codified in section 960 of title 18 of the U.S. Code, stating: "Whoever, within the United States, knowingly begins or sets on foot or provides or prepares a means for or furnishes the money for, or takes part in, any military or naval expedition or enterprise to be carried on from thence against the territory or dominion of any foreign prince or state, or of any colony, district, or people with whom the United States is at peace, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."

According to the project website as archived by Google on July 24, 2008 - The Carter Center of former US President Jimmy Carter and the Archbishop Desmond Tutu have both endorsed the project ( www.imra.org.il/story.php3?id=40027 ). According to news reports, the Carter Center was also involved in the funding of the project.

Shurat HaDin's letter charges that the organizers have openly solicited support for the hostile expedition against a friendly nation in violation of the U.S. Neutrality Act and urges the attorney general of California and the Federal Bureau of Investigations to launch a full inquiry into the funding of the flotilla and to prosecute all those involved to the full extent of the law should the allegation prove true.

Re: Conspiracy to Violate the U.S. Neutrality Act, 18 U.S.C. § 960

Dear Attorney General

I am writing to bring to your attention to a serious matter regarding what might be an ongoing conspiracy to violate the U.S. Neutrality Act, 18 U.S.C. § 960, and an attempt to aid & abet the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas which is occurring within your jurisdiction with the support and under the direction of an organization known as "The Free Gaza Movement," located at 405 Vista Heights Road, El Cerrito, California 94530.

The Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas is currently designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U. S. government. In June 2007, Hamas ousted Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah party from the Gaza Strip and subsequently took power where it has engaged in a relentless campaign to obtain weapons and explosives and to terrorize both Israelis and moderate Palestinians. As a result of constant rocket attacks from Gaza on Israel's coastal cities, on September 19, 2007 the Israeli government declared that "Hamas is a terrorist organization that has taken control of the Gaza Strip and turned it into hostile territory." Similarly, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice affirmed "Hamas is indeed a hostile entity. It's a hostile entity to the United States as well."

In an effort to prevent Hamas from obtaining any additional military equipment and to impose economic pressure on the Hamas leadership in Gaza, the Israeli Security Cabinet imposed a series of sanctions on the Gaza Strip including a coastal blockade that is being implemented by the Israeli navy. The naval blockade is particularly important in light of previous attempts by the Iranian government to transfer weapons to Palestinian militants at sea such as occurred in January 2002 when the Israeli navy seized the "Karine A" ship that was loaded with 50 tons of Iranian supplied weaponry.

There are several provisions within the agreements signed by Israel and the Palestinian Authority that grant Israel the right to implement a naval blockade on the Gaza Strip. Specifically, the September 28, 1995 Israeli- Palestinian Interim Agreement on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip that was signed in Washington D.C. states in Article XIV that Israel has "the responsibility for defense against external threats, including . for defense against external threats from the sea and from the air." Moreover, in Article XIV of the Interim Agreement titled "Security along the Coastline to the Sea of Gaza" Israel and the Palestinian Authority agreed that foreign vessels would "not approach closer than 12 nautical miles from the coast" unless specifically authorized pursuant to jointly agreed regulations and that in the absence of such conditions all foreign vessels would be required to dock at Israeli approved ports. (Because there are no international ports open to foreign vessels in Gaza at this time, it is currently illegal for foreign vessels to attempt to dock in Gaza without explicit Israeli authorization.) Finally, in a letter to Prime Minister Sharon on April 14,
2004 shortly before Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip President Bush confirmed "[t]he United States understands that after Israel withdraws from Gaza and/or parts of the West Bank, and pending agreements on other arrangements, existing arrangements regarding control of airspace, territorial waters, and land passages of the West Bank and Gaza will continue."

Nevertheless, despite the clear unequivocal policy of the United States to support Israel's right to control the security of the territorial waters around Gaza and to isolate Hamas from external support, the extremist Free Gaza Movement is attempting to undermine the foreign policy of both the United States and Israel by raising money to violate the Interim Agreement regarding foreign vessels and to undermine Israel's sovereign authority. On The Free Gaza Movement website located at www.freegaza.org requests are being made to finance a "Break the Siege ship" that is tentatively set to sail in August 2008 (See also http://freegaza.org/pages/joinIn. html#aboard). According to information on its website the ship "will sail directly to Gaza without going through Israeli territory and without seeking permission from Israeli authorities." However, because Israel has exclusive security authority over foreign vessels that are attempting to dock in Gaza, The Free Gaza Movement is openly soliciting support in this country for a hostile expedition against a friendly nation in violation of the U.S. Neutrality Act that is codified in section 960 of title 18 of the U.S. Code. This law states:

Whoever, within the United States, knowingly begins or sets on foot or provides or prepares a means for or furnishes the money for, or takes part in, any military or naval expedition or enterprise to be carried on from thence against the territory or dominion of any foreign prince or state, or of any colony, district, or people with whom the United States is at peace, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

As such, the actions of The Free Gaza Movement are nothing short of an attempt to violate the laws of State of Israel and to engage in conduct that has the effect of undermining the national security of a U.S. ally. Consequently, I respectfully request that your office take all necessary and appropriate actions to uphold the laws of the United States, to investigate those that are organizing and funding this illegal effort and to enjoin any unlawful activity on the part of The Free Gaza Movement.

A Tel Aviv court on Sunday sentenced a minor to 4 years in prison, and an additional 15 months suspended sentence, for stealing a credit card belonging to IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, along with weapons, which they tried to sell to Arabs. The theft, which the youth carried out with his brother, an IDF soldier, were convicted in a plea bargain several weeks ago. The two are Arabs from the town of Kalansuwa.

A TOUR OF PALESTINE; THE YEAR IS 1695

The time machine is a sensation that nests in me when I am visiting Mr. Hobber old books store in Budapest, Hungary. Hobber learned to know my quirks and after the initial greeting and the glass of mineral water (Mr. Hobber is a vegan) he leads me down the stairs to the huge basement, to the Jewish "section."
The Jewish section is a room full of antiquity books on subjects that Mr. Hobber sees to be Jewish. Among the books there are some that are not even worthy their leather binding. However, sometime, one can find there real culture treasure. Many of the books are Holy Books that may have been stolen from synagogues' archives: Talmud, Bible, Mishnah, old Ashkenazi style Siddur, and others. Customarily, I open them to see who the proprietor is; who was the Bar Mitzvah boy who received the book two hundred years ago and to whom did he pass the book at the end of his days. It is simply curiosity.
Many of the books are written in the German language. They are books of Jewish rumination written by Christians or assimilating Jews. Sometime one can find a hand written Talmud volume that is very expensive; thousands of Euros, set in the specially aired cabinet. Hobber knows their value. Sometime one can find a bargain such as the book Palestina by Hadriani Relandi -- its original professional name Palaestina, ex monumentis veteribus illustrata, published by Trajecti Batavorum: Ex Libraria G. Brodelet, 1714. One can find such original books in only few places in the world, also in Haifa University. Go to

The author Relandi[1], a real scholar, geographer, cartographer and well known philologist, spoke perfect Hebrew, Arabic and ancient Greek, as well as the European languages. The book was written in Latin. In 1695 he was sent on a sightseeing tour to Israel, at that time known as Palestina. In his travels he surveyed approximately 2500 places where people lived that were mentioned in the bible or Mishnah. His research method was interesting.

He first mapped the Land of Israel. Secondly, Relandi identifies each of the places mentioned in the Mishnah or Talmud along with their original source. If the source was Jewish, he listed it together with the appropriate sentence in the Holy Scriptures. If the source was Roman or Greek he presented the connection in Greek or Latin.
Thirdly, he also arranged a population survey and census of each community.

His most prominent conclusions 1. Not one settlement in the Land of Israel has a name that is of Arabic origin. Most of the settlement names originate in the Hebrew, Greek, Latin or Roman languages. In fact, till today, except to Ramlah, not one Arabic settlement has an original Arabic name. Till today, most of the settlements names are of Hebrew or Greek origin, the names distorted to senseless Arabic names. There is no meaning in Arabic to names such as Acco (Acre), Haifa, Jaffa, Nablus, Gaza, or Jenin and towns named Ramallah, El Halil and El-Kuds (Jerusalem) lack historical roots or Arabic philology. In 1696, the year Relandi toured the land, Ramallah, for instance, was called Bet'allah (From the Hebrew name Beit El) and Hebron was called Hebron (Hevron) and the Arabs called Mearat HaMachpelah El Chalil, their name for the Forefather Abraham.
2. Most of the land was empty, desolate, and the inhabitants few in number and mostly concentrate in the towns Jerusalem, Acco, Tzfat, Jaffa, Tiberius and Gaza. Most of the inhabitants were Jews and the rest Christians. There were few Muslims, mostly nomad Bedouins. Nablus, known as Shchem, was exceptional, where approximately 120 people, members of the Muslim Natsha family and approximately 70 Shomronites, lived.
In the Galilee capital, Nazareth, lived approximately 700 Christians and in Jerusalem approximately 5000 people, mostly Jews and some Christians.
The interesting part was that Relandi mentioned the Muslims as nomad Bedouins who arrived in the area as construction and agriculture labor reinforcement, seasonal workers.
In Gaza for example, lived approximately 550 people, fifty percent Jews and the rest mostly Christians. The Jews grew and worked in their flourishing vineyards, olive tree orchards and wheat fields (remember Gush Katif?) and the Christians worked in commerce and transportation of produce and goods. Tiberius and Tzfat were mostly Jewish and except of mentioning fishermen fishing in Lake Kinneret -- the Lake of Galilee -- a traditional Tiberius occupation, there is no mention of their occupations. A town like Um el-Phahem was a village where ten families, approximately fifty people in total, all Christian, lived and there was also a small Maronite church in the village (The Shehadah family).
3. The book totally contradicts any post-modern theory claiming a "Palestinian heritage," or Palestinian nation. The book strengthens the connection, relevance, pertinence, kinship of the Land of Israel to the Jews and the absolute lack of belonging to the Arabs, who robbed the Latin name Palestina and took it as their own.
In Granada, Spain, for example, one can see Arabic heritage and architecture. In large cities such as Granada and the land of Andalucía, mountains and rivers like Guadalajara, one can see genuine Arabic cultural heritage: literature, monumental creations, engineering, medicine, etc. Seven hundred years of Arabic reign left in Spain an Arabic heritage that one cannot ignore, hide or camouflage. But here, in Israel there is nothing like that! Nada, as the Spanish say! No names of towns, no culture, no art, no history, and no evidence of Arabic rule; only huge robbery, pillaging and looting; stealing the Jews' holiest place, robbing the Jews of their Promised Land. Lately, under the auspices of all kind of post modern Israelis -- also hijacking and robbing us of our Jewish history.

The event was held last week in TAU, featuring events connected with the Nakba – (Catastrophe, in Arabic). The conference also dealt with the “need” to allow hundreds of thousands of Arabs, or more, to flood Israel under the “right of return.” Galei Yisrael reporter Kobi Tzucker showed up to cover the event, but things did not turn out exactly as he thought. Tzucker said that one of the organizers, History Prof. Gadi Algazi, “saw me enter with a recording device and asked me which media outlet I’m from. I told him Galei Yisrael, and he said, ‘the radio from Givat Ze’ev?’” “I told him that yes, it’s in Givat Ze’ev, and then a few students gathered around me, and he said quite insultingly, ‘I will not have anyone from the settlements coming here to cover this event.'” Givat Ze’ev is the fifth-largest Jewish town in Judea and Samaria, with some 11,200 people, located just north of Jerusalem. When Zoabi got up to speak, MK Anastasia Michaeli (Israel Our Home) tried to physically remove her from the rostrum. Arab MKs found themselves under attack not only from Jewish parliamentarians from Likud and more nationalist parties, but also from the left-leaning Kadima. MK Miri Regev (Likud) expressed her anger at Zouabi in Arabic: “Go to Gaza, traitor!” She also called her a “Trojan horse.” MK Danny Danon (Likud) called out to Zouabi: “You belong in the jailhouse and not the legislature!” MK Michael Ben Ari (National Union) held up his diplomatic passport and said that Knesset Members like Zouabi and Ahmed Tibi should not be allowed to hold such passports. MK Yisrael Hasson (Kadima) called Zouabi “a shedder of blood” and warned that the Arab leaders in the Knesset shed blood and lead their people to disaster. MK Yochanan Plesner (Kadima) addressed Zouabi with a suggestion that she go spend a week in Gaza “and we will see how they treat you there. We will see if you talk about human rights and women's rights. We will see how you get by there, as a 34-year-old single woman.” MK Aryeh Bibi (Kadima) shouted at the Arab MKs that their very presence is a disgrace to the other Knesset Members. He suggested to Zouabi that she grab a pneumatic tube and float on it down to Gaza. Fellow Kadima member Yulia Shmuelov called out in Zouabi's direction: “You are parliamentary spies!” MK Moshe Matalon (Israel Our Home) chanted “Traitor, traitor” at MK Muhammad Barakeh (Hadash). MK Eli Aflalo (Kadima) gave a short address which he ended by saying, “I am ashamed that you are Knesset Members in this Knesset.” MK David Rotem (Israel Our Home) called the Arab MKs “wicked,” reminding them that “Gilad Shalit is being held by the ones whom you represent and you have never said a word or mentioned Gilad Shalit from this plenum.” Zoabi herself maintained an amused expression and appeared, at least outwardly, to enjoy the attention. Are these just the words of a few extremists?  Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes.  Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

THE  U.S.  VS  MEXICO:
On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum.  The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country.  They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down.  As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon.  Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match.  The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts?  It's called affirmative action or racial privilege.  The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent.  Recently, a vote was taken in the U.S. Congress to end this practice.  It was defeated.  Every single Democratic senator except Ernest Hollings voted to maintain special privileges for Hispanic, Asian and African immigrants.  They were joined by thirteen Republicans.  Bill Clinton and Al Gore have repeatedly stated that they believe that massive immigration from countries like Mexico is good.  They have also backed special privileges for these immigrants.

Corporate America has signed on to the idea that minorities and third world immigrants should get special, privileged status.  Some examples are Exxon, Texaco, Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Paine Weber, Starbucks and many more.

DID YOU KNOW?:
Did you know that Mexico regularly intercedes on the side of the defense in criminal cases involving Mexican nationals?  Did you know that Mexico has NEVER extradited a Mexican national accused of murder in the U.S, in spite of agreements to do so?  According to the L.A. Times, Orange County, California is home to 275 gangs with 17,000 members; 98% of which are Mexican and Asian.  How's your county doing?

According to a New York Times article dated May 19, 1994, 20 years after the great influx of legal immigrants from Southeast Asia, 30% are still on welfare compared to 8% of households nationwide. 

Is education important to you?  Here are the words of a teacher who spent over 20 years in the Los Angeles School system.  "Imagine teachers in classes containing 30-40 students of widely varying attention spans and motivation, many of whom aren't fluent in English.  Educators seek learning materials likely to reach the majority of students and that means fewer words and math problems and more pictures and multicultural references."

WHEN I WAS YOUNG:
When I was young, I remember hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island.  They wanted to learn English.  They wanted to breath free.  They wanted to become Americans.  Now too many immigrants come here with demands.  They demand to be taught in their own language.  They demand special privileges -- affirmative action.  They demand ethnic studies that glorify their culture.

Security charade

President Obama may have Katrina'd himself this week over the Gulf oil spill -- but at least it distracted attention from the fact that he also got caught using the National Guard as lipstick on a cactus.
Anyone with military experience knew that the president's earlier decision to send 1,200 National Guard soldiers to Arizona's border with Mexico was a purely political move. But few realized just how cynical it was.
Troop numbers don't matter as much as what the Guard is tasked and allowed to do. If the president doesn't authorize those in uniform to track and apprehend illegal border crossers, their presence is worthless -- the coyotes and narcos soon figure out that the troops are just decoration.
In the past, our troops have not been allowed to bust illegals -- or drug smugglers. Even though the president has the authority to empower them to do so.
It was clear from the start that this deployment wouldn't be any different. Nonetheless, the Mexican government threw a hissy fit. So, yesterday, our State Department rushed to assure the Mexicans that the guardsmen will only be allowed to do desk jobs and support work. The White House then confirmed it.
Boy, the border criminals are scared now . . .
Not only has the administration misused the guard for politics -- the appearance of getting tough in response to Arizona's popular distress-signal law on checking citizenship documents -- it has now placed the appeasement of a foreign government over the welfare of our citizens.
Also yesterday, Senate Democrats defeated an attempt, led by Sen. John McCain, to spur the deployment of 6,000 more National Guardsmen to our southern border.
With all due respect to Sen. McCain, his move was political, too. He knows it's not how many you send but what they do. We need go-get-'em patrols, not speed bumps in uniform. (And the Guard's experience in Iraq and Afghanistan could be very helpful.)
Meanwhile, American citizens who live along our southern border are on their own. This administration isn't going to risk offending a key voting bloc in its base just to protect American lives or property. The Republicans don't want to do what's necessary, either.
And Homeland Security top dog Janet Napolitano recently had the audacity (if not the hope) to assure us that our southern border has never been more secure.
Yoo-hoo, Washington! This isn't about politics. Both parties should be working together to protect our citizens and our territory. That's the basic function of government.
But Washington's made it about politics. Those who view illegal immigration as politically advantageous resort to the code phrase "comprehensive immigration reform." That means "amnesty." And 10 million new votes for the party that does the most for illegal immigrants.
If someone breaks into our house, are we then obliged to put them on the deed? In legal terms, no issue of our time is more straightforward. "Illegal" means illegal. Yet when Arizona tries to enforce the law of the land, it's deluged with lawsuits and dissed by our nation's president.
The truth is that our southern border barely exists anymore. It's become a zone of transition. We play a few cat-and-mouse games, but no serious border-security policy would have let 10 million illegal immigrants sneak into our homeland.
Instead of forging a serious approach to border security, we'll take those 1,200 guardsmen away from their families, give them busywork in the general proximity of the border -- and pat ourselves on the back. (Meanwhile, the administration was so proud of its new National Security Strategy that it released it on the eve of a holiday weekend.)
Even McCain's 6,000 troops would be nothing more than fence posts without a fence -- unless the president empowered them to intercept and arrest the foreign invaders pouring onto our soil.
Even that would only serve as an interim measure. The Guard can't stay there forever. It's not a standing force. We need to get serious about the manpower requirements permanently needed to protect ourselves from the violence of narco-traffickers and the economic (and environmental) devastation wrought by illegal immigrants.
The Mexican narco-insurgents who've now killed more than 23,000 people aren't going to stay home, either. We should be preparing to face this burgeoning threat. Instead, we're just staring at it like a bunny rabbit hypnotized by a snake.
This week's embarrassment over ordering the Guard to the border, then admitting they won't be doing anything, was just another political setback for a beleaguered president. But our bleeding border's a tragedy for our nation.

The first law of genetics is that if your parents did not have any children, neither will you. There is no way of getting around this very basic law of nature. America was built on Christian mythology and that leads them to believe that they are somehow beyond the laws of nature and history. Most see themselves as the peak of creation, the New Israel redeemed and supreme, and assume the rest of the world agrees with them. They do not.

In history, you hold on to your land only as long as you can defend it against invaders. There is nothing sacrosanct about the boundaries or even the political integrity of the USA. America does not have a covenant with G-D. They are exactly like any nation that has ever existed or exists today. Boundaries all over the world have moved around over the years and all sorts of nations have come and gone. In fact, by insisting that we negotiate with invaders the boundaries of Eretz Yisroel, they have invited this disaster on themselves.

Of course, Aryeh. But what is tragic is that the PEOPLE, at least the people of Arizona, are very much against the US gov's policies. The democratic majority elected this last president, true; but there were many opponents, and now they have to suffer the consequences of the foolish and evil majority. I feel sorry for them.

Yes the PEOPLE. It is the PEOPLE of the USA that have of their own free will elected O'Bama and the Congress. In a few months they will elect a new House and a third of the Senate. We will then see exactly what the PEOPLE of the USA really want.

NOT up for discussion! This is the red line, the acid test, if you will: anybody who wants to cross this line is clearly Israel's enemy - whether from within or from without. So Peres, Benedikt, Obama, Bibi, Barak, Beinisch, what do you say???

Rahm Emanuel Sheds Tear at Kotel

(Israelnationalnews.com) White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was photographed as he appeared to shed a tear at the Kotel (Western Wall) Thursday (see photos below).
President Shimon Peres hosted Emanuel with his wife Amy and their children, Zach (13), Ilana (11) and Leah (10) in the Presidential Residence Thursday. Peres gave presents to Emanuel's wife and children and taught Zach, who is in Israel to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah, a lesson about the weekly Torah portion.
Zach received a Kiddush cup and a gold-lined Book of Psalms with a personal dedication, while Amy, Ilana and Leah got small Psalm books with dedications and Presidential Residence pins.

The children told the President that of all the things they did on their visit to Israel, they especially enjoyed flying in a military helicopter and experiencing an Air Force flight simulator at Hatzerim.
After taking the Emanuels on a tour of the Presidential Residence garden, the President held a 90 minute closed door working meeting with Emanuel.  
Several dozen activists shouted 'traitor' at Rahm Emanuel Thursday morning when he arrived near the Hurva Synagogue. Activist leader Itamar Ben Gvir Gvir was detained and forcibly removed from the scene by police. They told reporters that a person who thinks the Kotel (Western Wall) should be handed over to Arabs should not be allowed to go to the Kotel.
Emanuel's boss, President Barack Obama, visited the Kotel before his election and planted a note in it, which he released to the press. The visit was one of the elements in Obama's campaign that convinced many Jews he was was not hostile to Israel or to the Jewish people. Emanuel's radical left views on Israel are seen as one of the sources for Obama's pressure on Israel and hostile behavior to PM Netanyahu.
