For those of you who understand Hebrew... I wish you all did.

The destruction of Maaleh Rehav'am  a week or so ago.

Received from the Women in Green.

One of the people on the video said it just right:''LIKE SODOM".

Exactly. The government of Israel - I should qualify my statement: the decision makers of the government of Israel and their minions  - has turned into the very symbol of abomination on earth.

What they did to those sweet, lovely young Jews is simply criminal - and they did it with such cruelty too. Heartless, inhumane beasts: that is the government of Bibi today, the Ministry of Defense of Ehud Barak ( still). The special unit of criminals dedicated to the eradication of Jewish life in the Heart of Judea and Samaria performed their criminal and illegal act with glee and murder in their eyes.

May they pay the price they truly deserve, every single one of the beasts who participated in this crime against humanity. And may their handlers, their paymasters, pay the price they deserve too; all the way to the top of the ladder, including every one of their accomplices.

May Hashem avenge the victims, and may He avenge the blood of every single victim of those animals in human form.

The full scoop on Agenda 21...and Israel; sorry for my delay, I only discovered these videos today. But now things are so much clearer!

Now look below: rings a bell?
Once you understand that the UN agenda in Judea and Samaria is, in fact, Agenda 21, and when you understand that the STATE of Israel is SIGNATORY to Agenda 21, things start to look different, don't they? Expect Bibi to talk the talk for us, but walk the walk for them.

http://patriotsbillboard.org/?p=4861

As Rosa Koire explains, UN Agenda 21 has hijacked the green movement for their own designs. Off hand, we agree that the environment needs to be protected, but Agenda 21 is all about deceptive language, resources and land grab, and an anti-human agenda, therefore it is not compatible with realistic environmental concerns.

http://www.johannesburgsummit.org/html/prep_process/national_reports/israel_natl_assess_report.pdf

Moreover, it is being implemented on a local level, so it is really up to each and every one of us to determine to what extent Agenda 21 affects our quality of life, and to respond and react accordingly. I was not aware of the importance of Agenda 21 in our lives, I only watched helplessly as our water rates, electricity rates, transportation costs, etc, etc, climbed astronomically under all kinds of spurious excuses. I was blaming Israeli factors, and Shimon Peres and his minions, of course, (they ARE part of it, BTW!) when in fact local big business is only a part of the total, global picture.

Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work, if we haven't already!

Shabbat Shalom, and Chodesh Tov. Adar is coming, happiness should be coming too, B"H.

So "we can relax"? PART III: Proof that Israel's economy is being controlled and manipulated from without - and by the Tower of Babel, believe it or not!

Who Controls The Money? An Unelected, Unaccountable Central Bank Of The World Secretly Does

The Bank For International Settlements at Night - Photo by WladyslawAn immensely powerful international organization that most people have never even heard of secretly controls the money supply of the entire globe.  It is called the Bank for International Settlements, and it is the central bank of central banks.  It is located in Basel, Switzerland, but it also has branches in Hong Kong and Mexico City.  It is essentially an unelected, unaccountable central bank of the world that has complete immunity from taxation and from national laws.  Even Wikipedia admits that "it is not accountable to any single national government."  The Bank for International Settlements was used to launder money for the Nazis during World War II, but these days the main purpose of the BIS is to guide and direct the centrally-planned global financial system.  Today, 58 global central banks belong to the BIS, and it has far more power over how the U.S. economy (or any other economy for that matter) will perform over the course of the next year than any politician does.  Every two months, the central bankers of the world gather in Basel for another "Global Economy Meeting".  During those meetings, decisions are made which affect every man, woman and child on the planet, and yet none of us have any say in what goes on.  The Bank for International Settlements is an organization that was founded by the global elite and it operates for the benefit of the global elite, and it is intended to be one of the key cornerstones of the emerging one world economic system.  It is imperative that we get people educated about what this organization is and where it plans to take the global economy.
Sadly, only a very small percentage of people actually know what the Bank for International Settlements is, and even fewer people are aware of the Global Economy Meetings that take place in Basel on a bi-monthly basis.
These Global Economy Meetings were discussed in a recent article in the Wall Street Journal...
Every two months, more than a dozen bankers meet here on Sunday evenings to talk and dine on the 18th floor of a cylindrical building looking out on the Rhine.
The dinner discussions on money and economics are more than academic. At the table are the chiefs of the world's biggest central banks, representing countries that annually produce more than $51 trillion of gross domestic product, three-quarters of the world's economic output.
The article goes on to describe the room that these Global Economy Meetings are held in.  It sounds like something out of a novel...
The Bank of England's Mr. King leads the dinner discussions in a room decorated by the Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron, which designed the "Bird's Nest" stadium for the Beijing Olympics. The men have designated seats at a round table in a dining area scented by white orchids and framed by white walls, a black ceiling and panoramic views.
The central bankers that gather for these meetings are not there just to socialize.  No staff members are allowed into these meetings, and they are conducted in an atmosphere of absolute secrecy...
Serious matters follow appetizers, wine and small talk, according to people familiar with the dinners. Mr. King typically asks his colleagues to talk about the outlook in their respective countries. Others ask follow-up questions. The gatherings yield no transcripts or minutes. No staff is allowed.
So the fate of the world economy is determined by unelected central bankers in secret meetings that nobody ever hears about?
That certainly does not sound very "democratic".
But this is the direction that "global governance" is taking us.  The elite believe that the "big decisions" are far too important to be left "to the people", and so most of the "international institutions" that have been established by the elite operate independently of the democratic process.
Sadly, the truth is that all of this has been planned for a very long time.
In a recent article entitled "Who Runs The World? Solid Proof That A Core Group Of Wealthy Elitists Is Pulling The Strings", I included a quote from Georgetown University history professor Carroll Quigley from a book that he wrote all the way back in 1966 in which he discussed the big plans that the elite had for the Bank for International Settlements...

[T]he powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world’s central banks which were themselves private corporations.
Back then, the Bank for International Settlements was only just starting to play a major role in global affairs.  But over the years the BIS began to become increasingly important.  The following is an excerpt from an article by Ellen Brown...
For many years the BIS kept a very low profile, operating behind the scenes in an abandoned hotel.  It was here that decisions were reached to devalue or defend currencies, fix the price of gold, regulate offshore banking, and raise or lower short-term interest rates.  In 1977, however, the BIS gave up its anonymity in exchange for more efficient headquarters.  The new building has been described as “an eighteen story-high circular skyscraper that rises above the medieval city like some misplaced nuclear reactor.”  It quickly became known as the “Tower of Basel.”  Today the BIS has governmental immunity, pays no taxes, and has its own private police force.  It is, as Mayer Rothschild envisioned, above the law.
Yes, it most definitely does bear a striking resemblance to the Tower of Babel as you can see from the photo in this article.  Once again the global elite are trying to unite humanity under a single system, and that is most definitely not a good thing.
But many of these elitists are entirely convinced that "global governance" is what humanity desperately needs.  They even publicly tell us what they plan to do, but most people are not listening.
For example, the following is an excerpt from a speech that former president of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet delivered to the Council On Foreign Relations in New York...
In the area of central bank cooperation, the main forum is the Global Economy Meeting (GEM), which gathers at the BIS headquarters in Basel. Over the past few years, this forum has included 31 governors as permanent members plus a number of other governors attending on a rotating basis. The GEM, in which all systemic emerging economies’ Central Bank governors are fully participating, has become the prime group for global governance among central banks.
The speech was entitled "Global Governance Today", and you can find the full transcript right here.  But most people have never even heard that such a thing as a "Global Economy Meeting" even exists because the mainstream media rarely discusses these sorts of things.  They are too busy focusing on the latest celebrity scandal or the latest cat fights between the Republicans and the Democrats.
If you go to the official BIS website, the purposes of the organization sound fairly innocent and quite boring...
The mission of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is to serve central banks in their pursuit of monetary and financial stability, to foster international cooperation in those areas and to act as a bank for central banks.
In broad outline, the BIS pursues its mission by:
  • promoting discussion and facilitating collaboration among central banks;
  • supporting dialogue with other authorities that are responsible for promoting financial stability;
  • conducting research on policy issues confronting central banks and financial supervisory authorities;
  • acting as a prime counterparty for central banks in their financial transactions; and
  • serving as an agent or trustee in connection with international financial operations.
The head office is in Basel, Switzerland and there are two representative offices: in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and in Mexico City.
But when you start looking into the details, things get much more interesting.
So exactly how does the BIS achieve "monetary and financial stability"?  An article posted on investorsinsight.com described how this is accomplished...
It accomplishes this through control of currencies. It currently holds 7% of the world's available foreign exchange funds, whose unit of account was switched in March of 2003 from the Swiss gold franc to Special Drawing Rights (SDR), an artificial fiat "money" with a value based on a basket of currencies (44% U.S. dollar, 34% euro, 11% Japanese yen, 11% pound sterling).
The bank also controls a huge amount of gold, which it both stores and lends out, giving it great leverage over the metal's price and the marketplace power that brings, since gold is still the only universal currency. BIS gold reserves were listed on its 2005 annual report (the most recent) as 712 tons. How that breaks down into member banks' deposits and the BIS personal stash is unknown.
By controlling foreign exchange currency, plus gold, the BIS can go a long way toward determining the economic conditions in any given country. Remember that the next time Ben Bernanke or European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet announces an interest rate hike. You can bet it didn't happen without the concurrence of the BIS Board.
In recent years, it has become increasingly obvious who really has power over our economy.
When Barack Obama speaks, the markets usually move very little.
When Ben Bernanke speaks, the markets often respond with wild gyrations.
A recent CNBC article entitled "Central Banks: How They Are Ruling the Financial World" detailed the enormous impact that central banks had on the global financial system during 2012...
In all, 13 other central banks in the world have followed the Fed's lead and set interest rates at or near zero in an effort to keep the liquidity spigots open and prop up their ailing economies. Those 14 economies represent a staggering $65 trillion in combined equity and bond market capitalizations, according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Later on in that same article, the author discussed the enormous amounts of money that global central banks were creating out of thin air...
"When you add up all the central banks in the world, it's going to be over $9 trillion," said Marc Doss, regional chief investment officer for Wells Fargo Private Bank. "That's like creating the second-largest economy in the world out of thin air."
Indeed, central banking has become an economy unto itself, a multi-trillion-dollar empire that massages and manipulates markets, which respond to the slightest news out of the respective entities' policy making committees.
So who controls the money?
The central banks of the world do.
And who controls those central banks?
The Bank for International Settlements does.
If we don't like what the Bank for International Settlements is doing, can we do anything about it?
Nope.  The Bank for International Settlements is above the law...
Maybe we'd feel better about the BIS if it were more transparent, but most everything about it, including its bi-monthly member and board meetings, is shrouded in secrecy. And perhaps more worrisome is that the BIS is free from oversight. By rights granted under its agreement with the Swiss Federal Council, all of the bank's archives, documents and "any data media" are "inviolable at all times and in all places." Furthermore, officers and employees of BIS "enjoy immunity from criminal and administrative jurisdiction, save to the extent that such immunity is formally waived . . . even after such persons have ceased to be Officials of the Bank." Finally, no claims against BIS or its deposits may be enforced "without the prior agreement of the Bank."
In other words they can do whatever they want, without consequences. How's that for a leak-proof legal umbrella?
If the BIS wants to "intervene" in the financial markets, they simply just do it.
If the BIS wants to bail out big banks or even entire nations, they simply just do it.
The BIS reminds me of this old joke...
Q: Where does an 800 pound gorilla sit?
A: Anywhere it wants to.
So what is next for the Bank for International Settlements?
Well, many have speculated that eventually the goal is to have just a single global currency which will be administered by a single global central bank.  The BIS is already using Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), which are considered to be a precursor to the coming global currency.  The BIS played a big role in the adoption of the euro, and more currency integration is almost certainly on the way in future years...
But in the end, how you feel about the BIS may come down to how you feel about a one-world currency. The bank was a major player promoting the adoption of the euro as Europe's common currency. There are rumors that its next project is persuading the U.S., Canada and Mexico to switch to a similar regional money, perhaps to be called the "amero," and it's logical to assume the bank's ultimate goal is a single world currency. That would simplify transactions and really solidify the bank's control of the planetary economy.
But if the United States ever did give up the U.S. dollar, it would be a massive blow to our national sovereignty.
When someone else controls your money, it doesn't really matter that much who makes the laws.
Unfortunately, the global elite seem absolutely obsessed with the idea of a global currency, a one world economic system and a global government.
None of those things will happen this year, but that is where we are moving.  With each new crisis that arises, the solutions that we will be given will always involve more centralization and more globalization.
So what do you think about all of this?

Frankly I knew nothing about this bank except for its name and prominent role whenever some miserable country such as Greece or other has been oppressed and persecuted financially.

Here is the BIS website, with all its details.

Notice that Israel is listed as one of the member states. You can also read a couple of recent interviews with Stanley Fisher here:

Need any more proof that we are being controlled by the global elite, the NWO? And that we are following the dictates of a modern-day Tower of Babel? Is that the role of the Jewish People? Do you think God is pleased with us?

UPDATE:

The video below explains in simple terms the concept and nature of central banks, including the B.I.S. Just please ignore and reject the various hostile comments about Jews, Israel, the Bible, the Torah, which stem from obvious antisemitism and great ignorance. The reason I am posting this is because central banks are so well explained; we do indeed need to shake off their yoke. The moment Israel does that is the moment it too will be invaded - the war of Gog and Magog, which has been predicted in Ezekiel 38-39, and which the prophet clearly stated will be waged because of greed.

So "we can relax"? Part II: The cat IS out of the bag!

Bracing for New Economic Realities in Israel

(Wednesday, January 30th, 2013) It is perhaps among the most popular slogans used by hopefuls seeking elected office, “I will not raise taxes” and perhaps, there are some, the naïve, who actually believe it. It was only a few short days ago when Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said “It’s against my DNA” in his reference to questions about planned tax increases. Perhaps one can make the argument that eliminating tax exemptions is not the same as raising taxes.
Nevertheless, it has been learned that Netanyahu’s bureau chief, Harel Locker, has been busy behind the scenes meeting with experts towards formulating the new plan which the prime minister hopes will push the 2013 state budget through. This plan includes widespread cuts that will impact monthly child allowance payments and more, the daily HaMevaser reports.
The announcement on Tuesday 18 Shevat 5773 that Bank of Israel Governor Prof. Stanley Fischer plans to step down in June of this year has sent economic seismic waves through the economy, causing the market to drop and a yellow caution flag has been raised in the nation’s economic sector for the early departure of this key economic figure, one regarded as a leader in the international economic scene, signals instability in Israel.
According to HaMevaser, the planned budget includes major cuts in child allowance and other Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute) payments amounting to 3 billion NIS a year for 2013 and 2013. The defense budget is also targeted, with a planned cut of between 5-7 billion NIS in the coming years.
One of the main targets in cutting spending appears to be the public sector, civil servants, who will feel the impact of a 3 billion NIS cut in both 2013 and 2014, cuts that will impact perks and other job amenities.
It appears the prime minister is remaining committed to his “DNA” statement and is trying to cut spending rather than raise taxes. Realizing the need to increase government earnings, certain tax exemptions will be eliminated. Atop of this list is the tax exemption given to educational funds (קרנות השתלמות), which the experts predict will bring an additional 2.4 billion NIS annually in state revenue. This is a ‘perk’ that is prevalent in the public sector.
In what will be a major blow to consumer, the value added tax exemption on fruits and vegetables will be removed, as well the VAT exemption for Eilat. Adding VAT to fruits and vegetables will deliver a major blow to the lower income families, striking the chareidi tzibur hard. Fruits and vegetables have been the staple for many families living on a tight budget, along with basic breads which are VAT free too. Adding VAT to the produce shelves will eliminate the last bastion of relatively inexpensive food items for these families. Yisrael Hayom reports that adding VAT to produce will generate an additional 2 billion NIS annually. The cancelation of the free shopping zone in Eilat will bring the government an additional 600 million NIS annually.
The master plan also includes system reforms, including a law that will prohibit “essential services” from striking, along the lines of the Public Employees Fair Employment Act, more commonly referred to as the Taylor Law. The reform plan also calls for the elimination of the nation’s labor courts.
Responding to the report of the broad sweeping cuts, Histadrut national labor federation leader Ofir Eini announced if the national government dares to target civil servants as reported, he will combat those efforts with sweeping strikes and other actions. Regarding the planned elimination of the labor court system, Eini feels these courts are “an integral arm of the national judicial system in a democratic society” and that such a move would be “anti democratic” for the labor courts are there to serve the national workforce and protect workers’ rights.

Yes, it is true, life in Israel is about to become a whole lot harder. So who is to blame? Is it Bibi, who as PM is out in the open and an easy target? Or is it the "hidden hand" of the NWO?

Listen to Stanley Fischer's address yesterday, and pay close attention:

 http://youtu.be/B17X9LS2_C8

Uh, uh, slip of the tongue! ....Is he telling the truth?

Listen well at 0:54 min: "..maintained infl... "...

Oops, what did he say, what word was he beginning to utter? The unspeakable word "INFLATION"? That's right! His true message was:

" we managed monetary policy and maintained inflation".

But to the public what did he actually say?

1.we managed monetary policy,

2.we maintained price and financial stability.

That is a lie. Thank G-d for the subconscious, and for freudian slips: Fisher's freudian slip revealed his TRUE monetary policy,  INFLATION, all the while telling the public that he maintained price stability. Those two are mutually exclusive. So, if he hid his true agenda on this, how can we believe his other statements? How do we know that his investments were done in good faith, to help Israel, and not to help prop up the banks, the Federal Reserve, etc? We do know that he bought 80 billion USD to prop up the dollar ( thanks for the tip, SHmuel).

Actually Bernanke, "worst central banker ever" according to some, is also a great believer in INFLATION. Not by chance has he been nicknamed "helicopter Ben":

 http://www.forbes.com/sites/realspin/2013/01/30/value-destroyers-like-bernanke-fancy-themselves-magician-economists/

("Economists who advocate solving the world’s economic woes with an inflationary central bank, or even a trillion dollar coin, have lost sight of the basics of their profession.")

http://seekingalpha.com/instablog/490634-thomas-j-feeney/1382841-worst-central-banker-ever

Apparently Bernanke learned very well from his mentor Fischer: inflation as monetary policy. Just don't reveal that to the public. We do see major inflation in Israel, which makes life very difficult and expensive, and triggered the social unrest of 2012. Cottage cheese revolution, anybody? Social protests, anyone?

What exactly are they trying to accomplish? This is all part and parcel of the New World Order, which seeks to impoverish/enslave populations while seizing all their assets and transferring them to a small worldwide elite, in essence reestablishing global feudal rule.

Just as a reminder, here is a brief bio of Stanley Fisher, NWO man "par excellence":

 http://www.piie.com/fischer/bio.html

David made an astute comment about this, as follows:

It actually is very simple is it not,
Peres and Fisher represent the new world order here.
So,...

And here is my response to him:

Not only that, but by hiring and/or keeping Fisher as governor of the Bank of Israel, Bibi did for Israel what Monti did for Italy, what Papademos did for Greece: two prime ministers whom the European Central Bank, etc., i.e. the NWO, undemocratically FORCED upon the people under threat of bankruptcy. So what is different here? Nothing. Here Fischer was elected by the cabinet, true, but what went on behind the scenes? Bibi AND Sharon before him both recommended him - on what basis? Interesting that the latest central banker of Greece recently left his position with a severance pay of 3.4 million Euros for cooperating with the Central Banks, the IMF, the Federal Reserve, the BIS, with other words the NWO.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/10/11/us-greece-bog-provopoulos-idUSBRE89A0OD20121011

How much will Fischer take home for doing the dirty work here?

The only problem is, the population here is so dumbed down - hard to believe they are Jews! -, they are so naive, so trusting when it comes to other Jews, they have NO IDEA that Fischer set up the system to tax the population to death for the NWO - all the while letting everybody point an accusing finger at Bibi and his cabinet (who are actually also to blame for picking him and going along with the fraud):

  •  stealth tax by inflation
  •   and taxes you can see on your bills, on your daily grocery shopping, etc.

So I think my model of Iceland was right on the money:

 http://youtu.be/51-Jfh6ADH0

And by the way, the speaker is absolutely right: the banks are a CHURCH, as the huge profits go straight to the Vatican's accounts, after bankers' enormous pay-offs, of course( we are speaking here of central banks and their partners, the Mega-banks, not small privately owned banks, of course).

While Greece buckled under pressure and today is a complete financial basket case, Iceland decided to tell the NWO to go to hell, decided to be self-sufficient, and today is a thriving, happy country.

So which model do we want for Israel, the Greek model, or the Iceland model? Stanley Fisher, with his new Bank Law and his policies, despite his misleading statements, is setting us up for the Greek model. Proof to that is the increasing deficit. If we don't take the bull by the horns and STOP him and the NWO before it is too late, G-d forbid we will end up like Greece.

In the meantime there are a number of measures that we can take. May I refer you to Hashkem for details:

http://www.globaltensystems.com/hashkem_index.html

And as for the PM, the cabinet and the Knesset, maybe it is tim they came clean about this?

So "we can relax"? Stanley Fisher "kept the economy in good condition"? True, or better leave before the cat is out of the bag?

From INN:

Knesset Finance Head Praises Fischer

MK Moshe Gafni (Yahadut Hatorah), head of the Knesset’s Finance Committee, praised outgoing Bank of Israel head Stanley Fischer on Tuesday. Fischer played a large part in keeping Israel’s economy in relatively good condition despite the worldwide economic downturn, Gafni said.
“I’m sorry that he is leaving,” Gafni said. “His contribution has undoubtedly been significant. But I respect his decision.”

It turns out that Stanley Fisher wrote the new Banking Law of 2010, in which he gave himself autonomy to do all kinds of transactions, and buy foreign securities.

Here is his bio: apparently he was Bernanke's mentor - whether that has any bearing remains to be seen -; one thing is for sure, he is a NWO man through and through, at least has been until his role as Central Banker of the State of Israel:

 http://www.piie.com/fischer/bio.html

Thanks to Cynthia!

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Fischer

Here is a copy of the law which he himself created:

The Bank of Israel Law

In March 2010 the Knesset passed a new Bank of Israel Law, which became effective on June 1, 2010.
The Law states that the Bank's main objective is to maintain price stability. The autonomy of the Bank of Israel derives from the Law, and is expressed in the Bank's freedom in choosing its actions and in exercising its powers. Monetary policy and decisions on actions required to achieve the Bank's objectives are determined by a Monetary Committee, and mechanisms have been established for public and internal control to ensure that the Bank's autonomy is accompanied by accountability and transparency with regard to the executive branch, the legislature and the public. A Supervisory Council has been established, whose duties are to supervise the orderly and efficient management of the Bank. (See below for further details on the Monetary Committee and The Council.)

The following are the main points of the Law (numbers of sections correspond to the section numbers in the Law).
Objectives of the Bank
Autonomy of the Bank
Management and decision making

From the Bank of Israel:

The Governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer, today informed the Prime Minister, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, of his intention to step down on June 30, 2013, after more than eight years as Governor.
The Governor noted that in addition to the goal of advancing the Israeli economy, one of his  primary goals he had set himself was passing a new Bank of Israel law.  That was done in May 2010. Since then, the Bank has operated successfully within the framework of the new law,   especially through the  work with the  Monetary Committee and the Supervisory Council.
The Governor said that in the coming months he will continue to deal fully with all matters pertaining to the Bank.
Prof .  Fischer added that he is extremely grateful for the opportunity he has been granted by the Government of Israel to fulfill the task of Governor, especially during a challenging period that included the global economic crisis, a complex geo-political reality, and domestic social issues.
The Governor thanks the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Knesset, the Members of the Monetary Policy Committee, the Supervisory Council and the management and staff of the Bank of Israel for the privilege of working with them during his term as Governor.
The Governor will hold a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday, January 30th, at 11:00 AM, at the Bank of Israel.

This is what had been written on March 1, 2012:

The Bank of Israel today began investing a small part of its $77 billion in foreign currency reserves in US stocks. The central bank's latest Markets Division report states that the new Bank of Israel Law (5770-2010) allows the Bank of Israel to make equity investments, and that it began to do so today.
The Bank of Israel will invest $1-1.5 billion in US stocks, 2% of its portfolio. The report adds that the Bank of Israel has been investing in public bodies in developed countries since 2010.
The Bank of Israel said that the investments in US stocks would be made through UBS AG (NYSE; SWX: UBS) and BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK) The Bank of Israel's Markets Division, which specializes in bond investments, will not be handling the equity investments. It added that the traders will have very limited discretion, and that they may only quote leading indices, in order to reduce the risk.
"We have almost no exposure to countries with big problems. We constantly examine where we invest the foreign currency reserves, and I can promise you that you can relax," Governor of the Bank of Israel Prof. Stanley Fischer said at a closed conference in mid-January.
"The Bank of Israel does not disclose the currency composition of its portfolio, especially not the composition of its equity portfolio," says the Bank of Israel. At the January conference, Fischer said, "Imagine if we were to begin publishing where you invest, so when you stop buying the bonds of a particular country, and this is published, we'll get complaints. That is why we do not publish." He added, "We have an external committee that conducts the examinations. You can assume that we're aware to the fact that there are problems in certain countries."

And this is what Bloomberg's reporter wrote:

Israel to Begin Investing Reserves in U.S Equities Today

The Bank of Israel will begin today a pilot program to invest a portion of its foreign currency reserves in U.S. equities.
The investment, which in the initial phase will amount to 2 percent of the $77 billion reserves, or about $1.5 billion, will be made through UBS AG and BlackRock Inc. (BLK), Bank of Israel spokesman Yossi Saadon said in a telephone interview today. At a later stage, the investment is expected to increase to 10 percent of the reserves.
A small number of central banks have started investing part of their reserves in equities. About 9 percent of the foreign- exchange reserves of Switzerland’s central bank were invested in shares at the end of the third quarter, the Swiss bank said on its website.
The investment will be made in equity index trackers and will include between 1,500 to 2,000 shares, among them stocks like Apple Inc. (AAPL), Saadon said.
The central bank decided to add equities to its investment portfolio in order to diversify, reduce risk and give better performance, Barry Topf, senior adviser to Governor Stanley Fischer, said in a Dec. 1 interview.

So we can relax???

Take AAPL, one of Stanley Fisher's investments via index funds, for example - did he sell on time, or is he still holding? How prudent is it to invest in the stock market considering today's great financial instability?

Another question we need to ask is: DOES ISRAEL HOLD GOLD? It is very important for Israel to hold gold, as this is the only real currency besides silver. Most intelligent central banks have been purchasing gold, not the United States however,  which relies on the greenback, a sure recipe for bankruptcy. The Euro is strengthening against the USD thanks to European central banks' cautious and smart purchase of gold. Israel acts like the little sister of America, but I think it is time, here too, that we assert our independence and start to rely on real assets such as precious metals and other commodities. Thank G-d we are going towards energy independence, which is also a form of currency and wealth - witness Saudi Arabia. Still, Israel's central bank should not rely on fiat money and debt for its stability.

They won't tell you why there was such a wide deficit - 39 billion NIS -in the budget for 2012 , but I would bet a lot of it has to do with poor investments. Does Israel hold worthless Spanish, Greek or Italian sovereign bonds? The report states that the Bank of Israel invested in "PUBLIC BODIES IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES". We know where some of those went. What other investments did Stanley Fisher recommend and/or make? Is he the reason for the deficit? What is really going on? Is he jumping ship before the ship sinks? We should demand transparency and accountability, and not rely on such fig leaves as reduced tax collection, etc., as explanations for the deficit.

The report also states that the plan is to invest 10% of the foreign currency reserves. Have those purchases already been made? 10% amounts to 7.7 billion USD, or around 26 billion NIS. The current budget shortfall amounts to 39 billion NIS. Is there a relationship there? Did they purchase more investments that went south? And what about their enormous holdings of USD to support the dollar? Did they lose on the exchange rate?

Another item we need to consider is the massive transfers of wealth from Israel to Gaza and the PA; witness the massive transfer of water to the PA and Jordan while Israelis are choking under the burden of huge water bills. We have to DEMAND equitable water bills and a stop to this ridiculous and criminal transfer of national wealth to our enemies.

Who will replace Stanley Fisher? We have to insist on an honest man or woman without any ties to the NWO. Use Iceland as a model. They are thriving since they decided to go solo, and tell the IMF etc. "thanks, but no thanks".

B. Here are the likely candidates. What do we know about them?

Next Bank of Israel Governor Candidates

Both Prof. Eugene Kendall and Prof. Manuel Trajtenberg enjoy the trust and high regard of PM Netanyahu. Trajtenberg led the committee that presented recommendations following the 2011 social protest for government implementation, and Kendall Chairs the PMO National Economic Council since 2009. Both stand a fair chance of being appointed the next Bank of Israel Governor, pending the decision of PM Netanyahu and the next finance minister. (The Marker)
