Thanks to my dear sister who forwarded it to me. Apparently Dr. Zev Zelenko's whole protocol has been publicized for a week now, but I just saw it in full for the first time today. BTW Dr. Zelenko's practice is a 45 minute drive away from where mine was in the US!
He wrote an open letter to President Trump; you probably saw it already on the news in the US, and even here in Israel. PS: I disagree completely with his thought that we need a vaccine. We KNOW that the people developing the vaccines, Big Pharma, have everything but our welfare in mind! This is much, much better - if it really works the way he is saying, but remember that medications can always have side-effects, it's a built-in certainty. I personally am still rooting for Vit. C,( I.V. or P.O.), Vit A, Vit. D, pre- and probiotics, hydration, rest, cleanliness, etc.
PS #2: I just spoke with my treating physician ( am not in practice at this time): she said that hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) is NOT available in Israel. She told me they are starting production but there is none available at this time, you can't even get a prescription for it from the Kupot Cholim for Covid-19! I guess doctors have been ordered not to give a prescription: Why would that be?
I wonder who is behind this: is it really missing, or is the Israeli Department of Health playing the WHO game " We want you to get the vaccine, only the vaccine, and NOTHING ELSE for you"?

With other words, it is not yet an accepted part of their protocol even though it has shown great benefit is several countries - a large scale test if ever there was one.
Why am I not surprised? Hydroxychloroquine is a cheap pharmaceutical product without financial benefit for Big Pharma; so by the time they are done "testing" it they will probably already have a vaccine, which they will tout as THE panacea, and will apparently try to force vaccinate everybody in the whole world - see my previous posts. So it is clearly NOT in the W.H.O.'s, i.e. the U.N.'s best interest to see patients getting better for now, nowhere in the world, and certainly not in Israel, their favorite whipping boy.
A good thing President Donald Trump is acting independently, and has decided that the FDA would accept the treatment for the US! Baruch Hashem, and thanks to our Tzaddik Dr. Zev Zelenko, may he be blessed.

It is probably a good thing Itamar Grotto is in isolation now, maybe he will get a taste of his own medicine - all is in Hashem's hands, let's see where it is going.
But should we maybe PROTEST the Department of Health's policies here, pointing out that patients are getting better in the US and elsewhere with this treatment, so why not allow it here? Why not at least ALLOW PHYSICIANS TO PRESCRIBE IT? Why can't Israel IMPORT Plaquenil if there is a real shortage here? The US is using foreign hydroxychloroquine! Are they maybe also afraid of lawsuits in case there are severe side-effects and no complete testing done? But the FDA approved it two days ago: Israel should too!
Maybe we can convince Bibi to follow Trumps' example?
I am sure it would raise a storm at the UN and Grotto would probably lose his position at the W.H.O. which is supposed to last until 2021, but so what: what is more important, his honor, or the survival of Jews here? After all we know what the UN thinks of Israel, don't we? Are we going to follow the policies of our enemies who would like to see us all dead and Israel disappear from the map, or are we going to do what is GOOD for Am Yisrael, INDEPENDENTLY, just as Trump is doing for America?
For now I am sticking with the natural preventive treatments I have been posting on this blog, they are the best bet for us here in Israel. And of course if any of us gets to the point of needing hospitalization, G-d forbid, then don't forget IV Vitamin C! To all medical professionals around the world:
My name is Dr. Zev Zelenko and I practice medicine in Monroe, NY. For the last 16 years, I have cared for approximately 75% of the adult population of Kiryas Joel, which is a very close knit community of approximately 35,000 people in which the infection spread rapidly and unchecked prior to the imposition of social distancing.
As of today my team has tested approximately 200 people from this community for Covid-19, and 65% of the results have been positive. If extrapolated to the entire community, that means more than 20,000 people are infected at the present time. Of this group, I estimate that there are 1500 patients who are in the high-risk category (i.e. >60, immunocompromised, comorbidities, etc).
Given the urgency of the situation, I developed the following treatment protocol in the pre-hospital setting and have seen only positive results:
1. Any patient with shortness of breath regardless of age is treated.
2. Any patient in the high-risk category even with just mild symptoms is treated.
3. Young, healthy and low risk patients even with symptoms are not treated (unless their circumstances change and they fall into category 1 or 2).
My out-patient treatment regimen is as follows:
1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days
2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days
3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days
The rationale for my treatment plan is as follows. I combined the data available from China and South Korea with the recent study published from France (sites available on request). We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well tolerated, hence the risk to the patient is low.
Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen.
Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10% of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea.
In sum, my urgent recommendation is to initiate treatment in the outpatient setting as soon as possible in accordance with the above. Based on my direct experience, it prevents acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), prevents the need for hospitalization and saves lives.

Not sure how to explain this, but there are many of us from the line of DVD and all of these ingredients are more dangerous to these of us then any virus....G6PD deficiency causes problems primarily when the deficiency is complicated by the treatment of malaria. Treatment can cause (severe) hemolysis in G6PD-deficient patients. Therefore, patients should be screened for G6PD deficiency before treatment with these potential hemolytic agents.
You are making a very good point, True tzaddikim, but usually people with G6PD would be more of Sephardic descent, their families would probably know, don't you think? Why davka DVD descent? After all DVD was a red head!
The patients of Dr. Zelenko are all Jews,( at least the ones in Monroe, I don't know about the others) and many Ashkenazi Jews are descended from Sephardim after the Gerush Sfarad, even in Chassidish groups. Did he test any, I wonder. So far I haven't heard him mention anything about it.
The question is, if patients have to be treated right away, at the first sign, does the doctor have time to order the test? And if not, should he err on the side of caution and not give that treatment at all, unless somebody knows for a fact that they are negative? Probably. Certainly a point to discuss in the medical community, but meanwhile it seems to me it would still be a good thing to have this available in Israel as a choice. As you see I do prefer the natural treatments, but Dr Zelenko has a lot of experience and he is getting very good results so far.

True Tzaddikim you should be very proud of me - and of yourself too of course. Guess what, I just got off the phone from Dr. Zelenko's assistant, and explained the whole situation to her, in particular mentioning the G6PD deficiency he should be careful about. And I also discussed the situation in Israel with her, how the clinics won't allow his treatment. You see I used to take care of a lot of Chassidish Jews in the Catskills in my practice, even the Chabad boys camp there. So I can easily speak with these people. Dr Zelenko will be receiving all the information plus the article on this blog, and I had some suggestions for him. We shall see.... all thanks to you, you see! Hashem has His ways.
At any rate I don't think you have to worry about this treatment being imposed on the population: the medical establishment wants to INJECT US ALL: there are trillions of dollars involved for them, that is what interests them. That is what we will need to fight. But if you do have G6PD deficiency for sure, you are right, this treatment is absolutely contraindicated for you. WHat they should maybe do is ask everybody to do the G6PD deficiency test, that would make sense, this way everybody would know whether taking this treatment is very dangerous for them or not. Besides, there are also lots of allergies apparently. And other side-effects. Don't forget, Dr Zelenko's main goal is to make sure nobody dies. Disease is not one of his criteria it seems, only whether you live or die. And with that he has been very successful B"H . But of course best is to LIVE HEALTHY!

In case you are not aware, the infection rate mortality rate in Italy to COVID-19 is dramatically higher. Why? Actually the Azithromycin is given to sort of prevent the emergence of a secondary bacterial infection, so I am not convinced that it would be absolutely necessary in every single patient treated with the Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc. For myself, I would probably only take the first two and bypass the Zithromax, as I am highly allergic to Erythromycin and all its derivatives ( which it is), going as far as an anaphylactic reaction, so I certainly would not touch the latter. But for people who can handle it and actually do have a CBC ( blood count) that points to a bacterial infection, then I would agree with Dr. Zelenko, adding pre and probiotics to the regimen, although they will be killed by the antibiotic, as even ONE DOSE of antibiotics completely kills the bacterial flora. So it has to be taken for a long time after treatment as well.

Yes, I understand he is one of the good guys, B"H; and he opposes the forced quarantine; I don't think quarantine is negative at this time, the virus is very contagious, can be deadly in certain recipients, also depending on which variant - that's a topic for another day - and according to an MIT study can be forcefully shed up to 27 feet, much more than what the WHO recommends at this time. So quarantine is not a bad thing at this time as long as it is done strictly for medical reasons and NOT as a tool of population control, which is actually the case too often, and that it is cancelled as soon as there is no indication to continue so.There is also other information re: the quarantine which I am still studying, but won't comment on until I am absolutely sure. So for now I would say, better be safe than sorry!
