Crossing the line... again. After Rav Yosef Ginsburg, after Rav Shapira, now Rav Lior and Rav Yaakov Yosef. If it weren't so sad, it would be funny. These police and judiciary types just have no shame; but don't worry, their time will come too, soon B"H!

AND THIS is who thinks they are fit to judge the holy men below???
Amazing, brazen, and crossing all red lines.

Rabbi Refuses to Be Questioned

Av 30, 5770, 10 August 10 12:37
by Elad Benari
(Israelnationalnews.com) Rabbi Dov Lior, the Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Arba and Hevron, and Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, son of the Shas party’s spiritual leader, are wanted for questioning about the book The Torah of the King, which was written by Rabbi Yitzchak Shapira, who heads the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva in the town of Yitzhar in the Shomron region.

Arutz 7 has learned that Rabbi Lior was summoned and was asked to present himself to police on Monday morning, but chose not to do so. Rabbi Yosef was summoned for Tuesday but is also not planning to attend.

Associates of Rabbi Yosef told Arutz 7 on Monday that "the persecution against Maran (our rabbi) because of an expression of opinion in favor of soldiers during war will not deter him from continuing to educate about guarding the lives of our soldiers and our civilians."

Rabbi Dov Lior’s office said: "The Rabbi will not cooperate with the persecution and the political investigation – the Holy Torah is not up for questioning. At any time and especially during wartime, the morals of the Torah and its leadership should be the 'moral code' of the IDF and of the entire legal system. The attempt to prevent rabbis from expressing Torah-based opinions using fear and intimidation is severe and will not succeed. Our entire right for existence in our country right now – is only because of our holy Torah.”
Rabbi Yitzchak Shapira was arrested two weeks ago and the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva was raided by police officers searching for copies of his book. Some 30 books were found and confiscated.
The Torah of the King deals with Jewish law pertaining to Kings of Israel and the waging of wars, and describes the situations in which a Jew is permitted to kill a non-Jew. The book that was recently published in its second edition does not contain any explicit references to Arabs. The Supreme Court has ruled that the content of the book is not grounds for an investigation against Rabbi Shapira.
A statement published Monday evening on behalf of the two rabbis said that they do not intend to appear for questioning since their position is clear and has already been expressed by Rabbi Shapira. The statements explains that The Torah of the King presents instructions on how to follow the law of the Torah during wartime, using the principle that one should kill those who intend to kill him. Those who are used as a human shield by enemies, said the statement, may be struck in order to protect the lives of civilians and soldiers.

“We appeal to all Jews everywhere to protest against the humiliation of the Torah, and against the government’s violence and mouth shutting,” said the rabbis in the statement.
MK Michael Ben-Ari MK (National Union) also responded to the summoning of the two rabbis and said: "This is a Communist-type persecution and a crossing of lines by [Deputy State Attorney] Nitzan. No one dares to question sheikhs and imams or leftist professors who incite against Israel in the name of freedom of expression."

Rabbi Dances and Sings after Police Questioning

Av 22, 5770, 02 August 10 10:12

Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburg, head of the Ohd Yosef Chai (Joseph Still Lives) yeshiva in Samaria, danced and sang with his students Monday after he was questioned by police in central Israel over a book in which he wrote a preface.

Rabbi Ginsburg told Israel National News TV that the police don’t even know what is written in the book, which raised suspicions among authorities that he was inciting followers. The volume is entitled "Torat HaMelech" and was written by Rabbi Yitzchak Shapira.
The book tries to show “the public, and especially soldiers in the army, the true ethics of self-defense according to the Torah,” he said. His message also is that people should “not be led astray and endanger lives of soldiers because of false ethical morals that are not coming from a Jewish place.”
The book includes in depth explanation of self-defense according to Torah and the importance of a Jewish soldier saving his life or the life of a fellow Jew even if the consequence is killing those who threaten Jewish lives. Rabbi Shapira has already been questioned and released without any charges being laid.
Rabbi Ginsburg said that one lesson to be drawn from the questioning by police is that “we have to clarify ourselves even better and we have to reach the general public. We have to address and relate to the public in pleasant ways in order to give the light of the Torah and the true ethics of the Torah to the general public and the whole world."
The Ohd Yosef Chai yeshiva is located near Shechem, where the Biblical Joseph was sent by his father Yaakov to meet his brothers who were shepherding flocks. The yeshiva is named after Joseph. Yaakov exclaimed his son still was alive after his brothers sold him to Egypt and then brought false evidence to their father to show he has been killed by an animal.

IDF Sending Har Bracha Yeshiva Soldiers Back to Jail

Elul 1, 5770, 11 August 10 10:15
(Israelnationalnews.com) The IDF is sending Har Bracha Yeshiva soldiers back to jail for refusing to return to military service after their yeshiva was kicked out of the Hesder program for opposing orders to expel civilians from their homes.

Chaim Yehuda Greenwald, a tank soldier, was sentenced Wednesday to 27 more days in jail. Greenwald has already served several periods in prison since he refused to change yeshivas.

Two other soldiers from the yeshiva, serving in the Kfir Brigade, were sentenced this week to 20 days on probation if they do not agree to leave Har Bracha.

And progressively worse, irrational violence by the animals against unarmed and innocent Jewish kids, some of whom ended up in the hospital:

Report: Police Use Tear Gas to Arrest 40 Jewish Girls on March

Elul 1, 5770, 11 August 10 06:00
by Eli Stutz
(Israelnationalnews.com) Tuesday evening, police arrested 40 Jewish girls attempting to march into Jericho. The girls were taken to the police station in Maaleh Adumin. Some of the arrested said the police used tear gas against them. The marchers told Arutz Sheva that they would continue their struggle for the Land of Israel.
The 'Hebrew Cities March', which began on Monday, aimed at marching to the historically Jewish cities of Shechem and Jericho, abandoned by the IDF in recent years. Dozens of marchers have been arrested over the course of the week at various stages of the march.
One of the marchers, a teen-aged girl who spoke to Arutz-Sheva from a closed military vehicle without air conditioning, said that the arrest was carried out while she and the other participants were marching on Israeli territory, without a warrant and without warning.
"Suddenly, the soldiers attacked us, threw us on the floor and started beating us, dragged us into a hot army jeep. Some of the girls received burns from contact with the jeep," said the girl, who was in the jeep along with seven of her friends.

Last 3 Jericho Marchers Released from Detention

Elul 1, 5770, 11 August 10 08:15
(Israelnationalnews.com) The last three remaining youths held in detention after their march to the city of Jericho was broken up by police were released Wednesday evening. All three were teenage girls.

The three required medical treatment and were taken to Hadassah Hospital on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus.

UPDATE :

Rabbis to Assert Torah's Independence Before Police

Elul 5, 5770, 15 August 10 01:02
by Hillel Fendel
(Israelnationalnews.com) An “Independence for Torah” rally-gathering will be held Wednesday in Jerusalem, after police summoned two leading rabbis for questioning for having signed approbations for a Jewish-legal work.
Hundreds of rabbis and Torah leaders from the entire spectrum of the religious-Zionist and hareidi-religious sectors are expected to take part in the protest, which will take place in the Ramada Renaissance Hotel. "Regardless of the content of the book at hand, the nation of Torah scholars' independence to express their opinions in matters of Torah cannot be agreed to under any circumstances," the organizers state.
The rally is being held a week after Rabbi Dov Lior, the Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Arba-Hevron, and Rabbi Yaakov Yosef were summoned by police for questioning regarding their approbations for a Torah work entitled “Torah HaMelekh” (the Torah of the King). The work’s author, Rabbi Yitzchak Shapira, was arrested in his home in the middle of the night two weeks ago, and was released several hours later. The police confiscated 33 copies of the book from his home, and another copy during a raid of the publisher’s home in Amona.
In addition, a contributor to the work was also summoned for questioning. Attorney Shai Nitzan of the State Prosecution announced that the investigations will continue.
Rabbis Lior and Yosef refused to show up for the questioning, but their very summons has elicited a storm of protest in the religious world. Dozens of rabbis have signed a proclamation saying, “Our holy Torah is not to be questioned! The attempt to prevent rabbis of Israel from expressing their Torah opinions is very grave, and will not succeed. A regime that acts in this manner joins evil regimes that forbade Torah study and lifted their hand against the Torah of Israel…
"The work Torat HaMelekh explains simple issues such as ‘If one comes to kill you, arise to kill him first,’ and that one many strike out a ‘human shields’ in order to protect our own citizens and soldiers… We call on Jews everywhere to protest this degradation of Torah and to come out against the governmental violence and shutting of mouths. We pray that we will speedily merit the fulfillment of our prayer to restore our judges as of old and raise the horn of the righteous in Jerusalem.”
Among the more than 50 signatories are Rabbi Meir Mazouz, Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen, Rabbi Zalman Baruch Melamed, Rabbi Yechezkel Yaakobson, Rabbi Shmuel Tal, Rabbi Uri Cohen, Rabbi Yoel Katan, Rabbi Moshe Tzuriel, Rabbi Tzefania Drori, Rabbi Sholom Gold, and many other well-known rabbis.
Rabbi Chaim Druckman, head of the Yeshivot Bnei Akiva movement, has asked Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to revoke the summons to Rabbis Lior and Yosef.
Rabbi Yehuda Mualem, head of the Sephardi-hareidi Yeshivat Porat Yosef is among the rabbis who have expressed support for the Wednesday gathering.
The Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva explains on its website that the work Torah HaMelekh is a “serious Halakhic elucidation according to the time-honored tradition of Torah study, by rabbis who dealt with the matter in great depth, as great rabbis wrote in their approbations… The main subject of the book is the waging of war according to our holy Torah. For instance, the book states that in the event that the enemy uses innocent people as ‘human shields,’ it is permitted and even obligatory to harm them in order to save our citizens or soldiers. Claims that this is a type of incitement are laughable; this is how the eternal Torah guides us in accordance with its rules of ethics."

The yeshiva’s statement adds that Israel’s current legal establishment’s standards of behavior in this field are “distorted to the point that in many cases, soldiers and officers find themselves accused in court after having acted appropriately to defend Israeli lives. This approach has led to the spilling of Jewish blood, of both soldiers and citizens, and therefore it is important to publicize and explain these matters specifically now.”

UPDATE:

One more rabbi harassed!

Despite (Because of?) Rabbis’ Rally, Another Rabbi is Arrested

Elul 9, 5770, 19 August 10 09:40
by Hillel Fendel
(Israelnationalnews.com) Hundreds of rabbis gathered in Jerusalem on Wednesday night to protest police intervention in Torah study, and a few hours later, another rabbi was arrested.
Rabbi Yossi Elitzur, a contributing author to the controversial Torah work Torat HaMelekh (Torah of the King), was arrested around 2:30 this morning in his hometown of Yitzhar, in the Shomron (Samaria). So reports the Honenu civil rights organization.
The arrest followed by just a few hours a show of strength by hundreds of rabbis, who gathered in Jerusalem last night to protest the arrest and/or interrogation of Torah scholars because of their Torah opinions. The police are demanding 5,000 shekels in bail for Rabbi Elitzur's release; he will be brought to court in Rishon LeTzion at 11:30 this morning.
The case began nearly four weeks ago, when the work's author, Rabbi Yitzchak Shapiro, was arrested in the middle of the night in his home in Yitzhar. The police also confiscated 33 copies of the book, which discusses the legal aspects of life-and-death issues between Jews and non-Jews, especially in times of war. The rabbi was released after several hours.
Two weeks later, least two other rabbis were summoned for questioning for having given approbations to the book. Neither of the two, Rabbi Dov Lior and Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, showed up for questioning – but the very summons infuriated a large sector of the rabbinical world. Last night’s event was the result, at which leading rabbis asserted that the Torah and rabbis’ scholarly opinions thereof are immune to police investigations.
Despite, or because of, the event, the police have now proceeded to arrest Rabbi Elitzur, for the second time. He was taken to the offices of the Serious and International Crimes Unit in Lod.
The State Prosecution was reportedly surprised to learn that relatively “moderate” rabbis also took part in last night’s protest. Even Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger, though he did not take part, expressed support, telling Arutz-7, “I oppose a situation in which a rabbi writes a letter of blessing or approbation for a Torah work, and then is accused or taken for questioning.” He said that he does not necessarily support the publication of the book, “because those who are not Torah scholars could misunderstand what is written there… But I suggest that the police come to the Chief Rabbinate for explanations about the significance of an approbation and suffice with that.”
Rabbi Metzger further remarked on the double standard applied by the police, in that “university professors express anti-Zionist, anti-Israeli, and anti-Jewish positions, and support Bishara, Hanin Zouabi and other enemies of Israel, and are allowed to do this in the name of democracy and freedom of expression.”

Rabbi Elitzur Released

Elul 9, 5770, 19 August 10 03:59
(Israelnationalnews.com) Rabbi Yossi Elitzur, who was arrested at 2:30 this morning in his home in Yitzhar in connection with the Torah work "Torat HaMelekh," was released early this afternoon. A court in Rishon LeTzion ordered him freed without conditions, turning down the police request that he deposit a 5,000-shekel bond.

The police explained their request in that Rabbi Elitzur did not show up for a previous interrogation. When challenged by Attorney Adi Keidar of Honenu, the police could find no documentation indicating that the rabbi had previously been summoned. It turned out that the police had come to arrest him in the past when he was not home, and did not leave a request on the door for him to show up on his own.

  • UN: Pakistan flood misery exceeds tsunami, Haiti
ISLAMABAD — The number of people suffering from the massive floods in Pakistan exceeds 13 million — more than the combined total of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the United Nations said Monday.
The death toll in each of those three disasters was much higher than the 1,500 people killed so far in the floods that first hit Pakistan two weeks ago. But the U.N. estimates that 13.8 million people have been affected — over 2 million more than the other disasters combined.
The comparison helps frame the scale of the crisis, which the prime minister said Monday was the worst in Pakistan's history. It has overwhelmed the government, generating widespread anger from flood victims who have complained that aid is not reaching them quickly enough or at all.
"The number of people affected by the floods is greater than the other three disasters combined," Maurizio Giuliano, spokesman for the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, told The Associated Press.
A person is considered affected by the floods if he or she will need some form of assistance to recover, either short-term humanitarian aid or longer-term reconstruction help, said Giuliano.
The total number of people affected in the three other disasters was about 11 million — 5 million in the tsunami and 3 million in each of the earthquakes — said Giuliano.
Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Monday that the floods were a bigger crisis than the 2005 Kashmir earthquake that killed nearly 80,000 people and the army's operation against the Taliban in the Swat Valley last spring that drove more than 2 million people from their homes.
"The magnitude of the tragedy is so immense that it is hard to assess," said Gilani during a visit to the central Pakistani city of Multan.
Many of the people affected by the floods, which were caused by extremely heavy monsoon rains, were in Pakistan's northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rescue workers have been unable to reach up to 600,000 people marooned in the province's Swat Valley, where many residents were still trying to recover from last year's fight with the Taliban, said Giuliano. Bad weather has prevented helicopters from flying to the area, which is inaccessible by ground, he said.
"All these people are in very serious need of assistance, and we are highly concerned about their situation," said Giuliano.
Hundreds of thousands of people have also had to flee rising floodwaters in recent days in the central and southern provinces of Punjab and Sindh as heavy rains have continued to pound parts of the country.
One affected resident, Manzoor Ahmed, said Monday that although he managed to escape floods that submerged villages and destroyed homes in Sindh, the total lack of government help meant dying may have been a better alternative.
"It would have been better if we had died in the floods as our current miserable life is much more painful," said Ahmed, who fled with his family from the town of Shikarpur and spent the night shivering in the rain that has continued to lash the country.
"It is very painful to see our people living without food and shelter," he said.
Thousands of people in the neighboring districts of Shikarpur and Sukkur camped out on roads, bridges and railway tracks — any dry ground they could find — often with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and perhaps a plastic sheet to keep off the rain.
"We were able to escape the floodwaters, but hunger may kill us," said Hora Mai, 40, sitting on a rain-soaked road in Sukkur along with hundreds of other people.
A senior government official in Sukkur, Inamullah Dhareejo, said authorities were working to set up relief camps in the district and deliver food to flood victims.
But an Associated Press reporter who traveled widely through the worst-hit areas in Sindh over the past three days saw no sign of relief camps or government assistance.
The floods hit the country at a time when the government is already struggling with a faltering economy and a brutal war against Taliban militants that has killed thousands of people.
The U.S. and other international partners have donated tens of millions of dollars and provided relief supplies and assistance.
A faltering relief effort could open the door to hard-line Islamist groups, which have already been delivering aid in the northwest.
Associated Press Writer Ashraf Khan contributed to this report from Sukkur.

  • Radiation, plague, and fires: foreign embassies urgently evacuate staff from Russia
Publication time: 7 August 2010, 13:52
… Early in the morning of 7 August, the escape of foreign diplomats from Russia took epidemic proportions. It is possible that the diplomats, through the intelligence services of their countries, know something that is not yet known to the general public.

Germany officially closed its embassy and evacuated the entire staff from the doomed Russian Empire, media outlets reported. Austria, along with Poland and Canada, is evacuating almost all its staff from Russia. Foreign embassies addressed to their citizens got stuck in the country to leave Russia as soon as possible.

A Hamburg newspaper, Die Welt, reported in a clear text format that the urgent flee of German diplomats from Russia was caused by radiation approaching Moscow.

The radiation, according to the newspaper, comes from facilities for the production of atomic bombs (400 km east of Moscow) burning in Sarov. Emission of radiation in the environment continues.

Naturally, the evacuation affected all, without exception, embassies in Moscow, but most of them reported nothing for political reasons.

…
Americans traveling to these areas of Russia are advised to cancel the trip. US citizens … who are already inside the giant area of natural disasters, which now represents the whole Russia, are advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor staying and strenuous physical loads.

The current alert warning will remain in force until September 5, when the situation in Russia, as the US stipulates, relaxes as far as fires are concerned, because there'll be left nothing to burn. The situation would remain unpredictable regarding plague and radiation.

Foreign Ministries of Germany, Bulgaria: France, Italy and other countries also appealed to their citizens not to travel to Russia.

  • Heat Wave, Smog Double Moscow's Daily Death Rate

Photo: AP
Tourists wear protective face masks as they walk along the Red square in thick smog, with Saint Basil's Cathedral partially visible in the back, in Moscow, Russia, Friday, Aug. 6, 2010. The city of Moscow was shrouded Friday by a dense smog that grounded flights at international airports and seeped into homes and offices, as wildfires that have killed 50 people nationwide continued to burn.
A Russian health official says deaths in Moscow have almost doubled to 700 a day as the Russian capital suffers a third week of scorching heat and poisonous smog from wildfires.

Moscow health department chief Andrei Seltsovsky said Monday the daily death rate in the city has surged from an average of 360 to 380 deaths under what he called "normal conditions."  Some city morgues are overflowing with bodies.

The concentration of carbon monoxide and other pollutants in Moscow's air exceeded the safe limit by almost seven times on Saturday and Sunday. The figure moderated Monday to a range of two to three times acceptable levels.

Russia's state weather service described the heat wave affecting Moscow and other parts of the country as possibly the worst in a millennium. Daily high temperatures have reached up to 38 degrees Celsius compared to the usual summer average of 24 degrees.

Health experts said the combined effect of smog and heat poses a danger to people with heart and lung problems and risks aggravating other health conditions.

Muscovites were leaving the city in record numbers.  Aviation officials said more than 104,000 passengers left Moscow's three major airports on Sunday. Travel agents said package tours for vacation spots popular with Russians, such as Egypt and Turkey, were sold out.

Forest and peat bog fires near Moscow have covered the city with a yellowish smoke that residents find almost impossible to escape. Thousands of Russian firefighters have been fighting hundreds of wildfires nationwide. The blazes have killed at least 52 people.

Forecasters said they do not expect temperatures to moderate until next week.

Crop outlook worsens in drought-hit Black Sea region

Drought-devastated Russia could extend a grain export ban into next year and may cut its 2010 beet sugar output, reflecting the dimming prospects for crops in the scorched Black Sea bread basket region
Russia, the world's No. 3 wheat producer in 2009/10, said last week it would halt grain exports until the end of 2010 as the country's worst heatwave on record destroyed vast tracts of wheat and barley crops.
But Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Monday the export ban may be extended into 2011, warning the fall in this year's crop could be worse than expected.
"If someone is waiting for December 31, he is waiting in vain," Putin told a government meeting. "A decision may be taken only after the harvesting campaign results are clear."
Firefighters are still battling wildfires covering 1,740 square km (672 sq miles) in what the state weather forecaster said was Russia's worst heat wave for a millennium.
The drought and the wildfires have sent wheat prices soaring, and the grain export ban is likely to squeeze supplies and lead to a scramble for grains from other producers like Australia.
Wheat prices fell on Monday before retracing to remain within striking distance of last week's two-year highs.
Analysts SovEcon estimated on Monday that Russia's wheat crop could fall by nearly a third to 43.5 million tonnes. This is well below the consensus in a Reuters snap poll on August 5 of 46.5 million tonnes and is likely to take a big chunk out of the global wheat crop in the new 2010/11 season.
Wheat exports in 2010/11 may be around 3 million tonnes, SovEcon forecast, plunging from the 18 million tonnes the International Grains Council estimate were shipped in 2009/10.
In neighbouring Ukraine, the world's sixth-largest wheat exporter in the 2009/10 season, bad weather has also forced analysts and officials to cut crop and export forecasts.
A senior Ukrainian Farm Ministry official said this year's wheat harvest could fall to about 17 million tonnes, below the consensus in a Reuters poll last week of 18.1 million and down from 20.9 million in 2009.
Grain exports from Ukraine are also facing delays after the introduction of a new system of customs controls last week.
CONTRACTS CANCELLED
The ban in Russia has already forced some exporters to cancel major contracts of Black Sea wheat to Bangladesh.
"We see more deals being cancelled as nothing can be done about it," said one Singapore-based trading manager. "People have no choice but to go for Australian wheat as the U.S. is still more expensive due to higher freight costs."
The drought could also force Russia to cut beet sugar output to 3.2-3.5 million tonnes from an earlier expected record 4 million, Andrei Bodin, chairman of lobby group the Russian Sugar Producers' Union, told Reuters Insider in an interview.
Russia is a net importer of sugar, although it has bought less in recent years, as increased domestic production and variable import tariffs pushed it down to the world's number three sugar buyer from the top spot.

  • Get Rich Investing in Israel!

Israel has done a terrific job in navigating its economy through the Great Recession -- and is poised to capitalize big-time on the looming wipeout of the Euro. As the European economies topple like dominoes, the most stable and prosperous nations in the Middle East offer incredible profit opportunities.
Companies like Prolor and Radware, that nearly TRIPLE your money in a matter of months, are not all that unusual in Israel.
Prior to the 2008-2009 credit crunch, Israel's GDP had been growing an average of 5% for the past few years. And while the U.S. economy contracted -2.4% in 2009 and the EU contracted -4.0%, Israel's economy actually grew slightly.
    Israel's secret?
First, unlike its U.S. and European counterparts, Israeli banks have always maintained strict lending standards, thereby sidestepping the global subprime mortgage crisis.
Second, personal consumption has stayed remarkably steady, thanks to a high savings rate. Israelis have the cash to invest in the still-expanding real estate market -- and their economy has not been devastated by the collapse of real estate prices, as is the case in most countries.
Third, the Israeli shekel also has been one of the strongest currencies in the world over recent years -- and will likely remain so as the Euro continues to depreciate.
What's more, Israel has finally turned its back on its East European socialist origins and embraced the free market with gusto. In fact, with more than 100 listed companies, Israel has overtaken Canada as the foreign country with the most stocks on the Nasdaq.
Finally, Israel is a hotbed for the global technology sector with more Ph.D.s per capita than almost any other nation. Intel has invested over $5 billion in the country. And hot on Intel's heels are Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, Motorola and Cisco. What attracts these tech giants from California's Silicon Valley to this tiny nation of 6 million? Israel's entrepreneurial spirit and cutting-edge inventiveness.

CONCLUSION:

The way I understand the meaning of Gog and Magog now, with facts on hand:
Israel will have a GAG ( same root as Gog), a roof over its head, while the nations that try to destroy Israel will end up as Magog,  will MITMOGEG, melt away, literally dissolve, - witness mudslides, floods, fires, chemical poisoning, radiation, parched earth, etc.

Hashem is keeping His promise to Israel.

Nations better take heed before it is too late.

They have such Jewish faces, amazing. Thank you. I am just wondering how to reconcile the two facts: God's wrath upon the region, with these Anusim. Do they make up a large part of the Taliban? What can we do to help them?

And what are we supposed to make of it? The fact is, this is an act of God, not an act of man. So?....Maybe it is time for those Bnei-Yisrael to wake up too, isn't it?

See what Aryeh has to say about this post:

The point is not for the Goyim to learn, it is for the Jews to learn. The Goyim deserve much, much more than they are getting but to punish them in full would destroy the world. The real point to punishing them is to wake up the Jews.

BP Catastrophe Part XI: BP Whistleblower Matt Simmons found dead. Cause of death listed as A, then as B, how curious...... you have to watch the movies below; what unbelievable deception!

From a talkback:

"Whistleblower Death Syndrome (WDS): a disease that effects those who have recently become a thorn in the side of TPTB. WDS effects all age brackets, genders, races, and socio-economic classes, although multi-trillionaires rarely succumb to the disease. The symptoms include having recently disclosed unsettling information to the public that contradicts the establishment line, and death/dismemberment by means of bizarre accidents. These accidents are typified by leaps off of buildings with 3 digit story counts, certain automobile related fatalities, burglaries gone wrong, and suicides by hanging or wrist slitting, although there does not seem to be any limit to the range of possibilities. WDS is so dangerous that authorities will often seal the records of the autopsy report on the death for decades after the victim’s demise. Risk factors for contracting WDS are not well understood, although studies suggest that persons who are prone to investigating conspiracy theories may be at an elevated risk for contracting the disease.   "

And from another talkback:

"And if you believe it was an accident or a heart attack well…….
Let’s review his “enemies” list:
1. The U.S. Government
2. British Petroleum
3. The House of Saud"

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/matt-simmons-has-died-heart-attack

CNBC notes the apparent cause of death of the recently popular BP skeptic, and founder of oil company Simmons & Co., was a heart attack. A conflicting report according to WLBZ cites the source of death as drowning.
NORTH HAVEN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Knox County Sheriff's Department says Matthew Simmons, the founder of the Ocean Energy Institute, drowned at his house on North Haven late Sunday night.

Simmons was a leading investment banker for the energy industry and had recently retired to work full time on the new Ocean Energy Institute.

He was a leading proponent of offshore wind power and had started raising money to develop and build offshore turbines.

He and his family had also bought and rebuilt the Old Strand Theater in downtown Rockland.

Matt Simmons Revises Leak Estimate To 120,000 Barrels Per Day, Believes Oil Covers 40% Of Gulf Beneath The Surface
Matt Simmons was on Bloomberg earlier, adding some additional perspective to his original appearance on the station, in which he initially endorsed the nuclear option as the only viable way to resolve the oil spill. Simmons refutes even the latest oil spill estimate of 45,000-60,000 barrels per day, and in quoting research by the Thomas Jefferson research vessel which was compiled late on Sunday, quantifies the leak at 120,000 bpd. What is scarier is that according to the Jefferson the oil lake underneath the surface of the water could be covering up to 40% of the entire Gulf of Mexico. Simmons also says that as the leak has no casing, a relief well will not work, and the only possible resolution is, as he said previously, to use a small nuclear explosion to convert the rock to glass. Simmons concludes that as punishment for BP's arrogance and stupidity the government "will take all their cash." Now if only our own administration could tell us the truth about what is really happening in the gulf...

And this, just as BP is getting close to reaching the gusher, or so they claim, with the drilling of a relief well. Very conveniently timed death indeed; who will be the whistleblower now, if something goes wrong?

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/greenhouse/post/2010/08/bp-gulf-oil-spill--1/1

But guess what: there is no reason to worry about that, for the simple reason that we were deceived: the well being drilled is NOT the well that exploded: that one is as messed up as ever. The videos below are sufficient proof to that effect.

Therefore, there was a much more compelling reason to eliminate this troublesome Matt Simmons!

Watch these, see the unbelievable scam, the wool BP is pulling over people's eyes. Now maybe we understand the secrecy, the illegal orders of forbidding journalists to the scene. And the government is in full complicity: WHY?

Hot....hot....hotter....hottest! This is as close as it gets to the truth about Obama, his origins, his religion, and his loyalties.

Thanks to C.

Fascinating, and frankly, quite understandable, specially considering the zillions of Saudi petrodollars in the US.
What we should never forget, though, is that the King of Saudi Arabia is subservient to Rome.

Sovereignty remained with the head of the Spanish house of Bourbon during the republican (1931–39) and Francoist (1939–1975) periods and is held today by the present King of Spain, Juan Carlos ( himself the temporal representative of the Vatican within nations).

Obama has lost eligibility issue

August 10, 2010© 2010

Just as Richard Nixon lost the battle of Watergate because of coverup and stonewalling, Barack Obama has lost the battle over his constitutional eligibility for the same sins.
With the latest CNN poll showing only 42 percent of Americans definitively persuaded that he was born in the U.S., those who claimed this wasn't a "winning issue" have been proven wrong. Not only is it a winning issue, it is the only issue that can effectively undo the nightmare of the Obama era in one fell swoop.
There would be no need for repealing Obamacare if it turns out his presidency was a sham from the beginning.
There would be no need to wait until Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan retire or die to see them replaced on the Supreme Court if it turns out his presidency was a sham from the beginning.
There would be no need to wring our hands in hopes that future congresses and future presidents might roll back all of the damage Obama has inflicted on America if it turns out his presidency was sham from the beginning.
There would be no need to wait until 2011 in hopes that a new Republican majority might impeach Obama if it turns out his presidency was a sham from the beginning.
There would be no need to wait until 2012 for another chance to replace Obama if it turns out his presidency was a sham from the beginning.
That's why this issue is so important.
I've had many confidential conversations with influential people whose names you would know well – people sitting on the fence on this issue for too long. They began explaining to me a year or two ago why they didn't challenge Obama on this issue more aggressively. They were afraid of going out on a limb that Obama could saw off at any moment by producing his birth certificate that would clear up all the questions.
It should be quite clear to anyone by now that is never going to happen.
First of all, Obama is never going to produce that document. I don't know why he won't, except that it will reveal something extraordinarily embarrassing – something completely at odds with his official narrative. There are just too many other personal documents being concealed by Obama – student records, travel records, passport records, medical records, etc. Even his mother's passport records reportedly have been destroyed!
Second, even in the extremely unlikely event that Obama were to produce a birth certificate that affirmed his birth story, it will merely serve to refocus the debate on eligibility. The best-selling new book "Manchurian President" devotes an entire chapter to exploring whether Obama could be constitutionally eleigible as the son of a Kenyan father. The clear conclusion is no – he can't be. There is no way that a foreigner could confer natural-born citizenship on a son no matter where that son was born.
In other words, this is a win-win issue for those of us who don't want to live any longer in the Obama Nation – not now, not next year, not the year after. So-called "birthers" now represent a majority of the American public.
I predict these polls will embolden politicians across the country – in spite of the ridicule and vitriol inflicted on them by the press establishment. I predict next year you will see more than one or two state legislatures approve bills that require presidential candidates to prove eligibility before getting on the ballot. I predict you will see more House and Senate members speak out on this issue in 2011, as the Congress takes on a new look.
I even predict a few other members of the media might open their eyes on this key constitutional question before too long.
After all, ultimately it's about the integrity of the Constitution. Obama has made it clear he has no respect for the law of the land. He has no respect for what the Constitution says and means. He does not believe in limited government. He does not believe in the rule of law. He believes in the rule of men – men like himself. And that's why so many of us want to see America freed of his leadership at the earliest possible moment and as completely as possible.
You tell me if there's a better way to achieve that objective than an uprising that demands he prove what he should have been required to prove in 2008.

Thanks to C., once again, for this contribution.

Wall Street's Gold Mine
is Main Street's Shaft

by Sean Brodrick

Wall Street started this week off with another "push-it-higher" party, as the babbling heads on TV trumpet the latest good earnings news. Respected analysts at Cabot Market Letter just said it's "likely" the Dow could surge to 14,000 in 2011. Meanwhile, many Americans are left wondering: How can it be party time for Wall Street when it's such hard times for the rest of us? Where's the party for Main Street?
I don't have to tell you how bad things are in the real world. For example ...
  • Private construction spending — down 62% from the peak!
  • ISM Manufacturing Index — close to stalling.
  • New home sales — worst June on record.
  • Factory orders have dropped twice in a row, down 1.2% June and 1.8% in May.
  • Unemployment is stubbornly high, and claims are starting to increase — again!
  • And California ... ay-yi-yi! The bad news is that bankrupt state may start issuing IOUs this month. The worse news is California may be the canary in the coal mine for the other states, and struggling municipalities.
Heck, cash-strapped cities and counties across the U.S. have threatened to cut 500,000 jobs by 2012 if they don't get help from the Federal government — and the strapped-for-cash government says help isn't coming.
This is why many Americans are mystified and left wondering why the market can go up when the real economy is going down.
I completely understand. But I have to go with the trend of the market. And when the market buys good news ... AND buys bad news ... you really don't want to stand in the way of that bus.
Let me show you five reasons why Wall Street is celebrating ... and indeed, even higher prices may be down the road.
#1) U.S. Companies Make More Money Overseas. Earnings have topped estimates at 77% of S&P 500 companies that already reported results this quarter. So they must be making money somewhere, right? Bad news for Main Street — more and more of the earnings of U.S. companies comes from overseas and is not really dependent on Main Street's economy.
U.S. companies have good reason to invest overseas — that's where the growth is. Between them, the economies of China, India, Russia and Brazil account for 13% of world trade and have been responsible for about half of global growth since the start of the financial crisis in 2007, according to data from Goldman Sachs. The BRIC economies are expected to average 9% growth this year compared with 2.6% in advanced nations.
U.S. companies are earning more overseas than here at home.
U.S. companies are earning more overseas than here at home.
#2) U.S. Companies Profit By Paying Less Taxes. What's more, U.S. companies are paying less and less taxes on their foreign profits. As of the end of last year, U.S. companies amassed at least $1 trillion in foreign profits not taxed in the U.S. as of the end of last year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. That cumulative total increased 70% over three years, from $590 billion in 2006. This is because more companies are using huge loopholes in the tax code ... loopholes which Congress refuses to fix, and which at last count, cost the U.S. Treasury about $60 billion a year.
And the less companies have to pay in taxes, the bigger their profits.
#3) The rise in stock prices is relative ... relative to the falling U.S. dollar, I mean. The once-mighty greenback has been sliding lower since early June, and the U.S. dollar and the stock market are on a see-saw of pain — when one goes up, the other often goes down. For example, in 2009, the S&P 500 rallied 68% from early March 2009 to late November. At the same time, the U.S. dollar slumped by 17%.
To be sure, the market and the dollar don't have to move in opposite directions — they just do it a lot.  That's because the market is an asset priced in dollars. As the dollar falls, it takes more dollars to buy the market.
In extreme cases, you can get a Zimbabwe market. The Zimbabwe stock market rose 300,000% in 2007 as that country's currency collapsed. I'm not saying that will happen — I'm saying that if your currency is going down, as the U.S. dollar is, the stock market has to go up just to keep its value.
#4) Bond yields are low ... and stock yields are high. The yield on a 10-year note is now about 2.9%. And bond yields may not be done falling. Meanwhile, there are good, solid stocks that pay 4%, 5%, 6%, 7% or higher! Many investors need income, and there are some great high-yielding stocks out there ... a strategy we're putting to good use in Crisis Profit Hunter.
And heck, many dividend-paying stocks are so flush with cash they're raising dividends. This is happening even in gold miners, which traditionally don't pay great dividends. Two big names in the gold space, Newmont Mining and Barrick Gold, both recently raised their dividends.
#5) The Off shoring Trend Continues. Multinational companies with American names are eager to sell you products and take your money, but they're just as happy to ship your job overseas. And this trend is accelerating. A 2008 Bureau of Labor Statistics report found that over 30 million (one-fifth) of service industry jobs were vulnerable to off shoring.
These aren't just call-center jobs. Along with telemarketers and data entry, the BLS also included high-paying, highly skilled, knowledge work — scientists and engineers to architects and fashion designers, managers and business analysts.
The BLS study found that the at-risk service jobs were higher-paying ($61,473 vs. $41,610) and more highly skilled — more than half of them (54 percent) required college degrees and eight in 10 required "some college."
When a corporation can pay someone in China 60 cents an hour to do your job, there's no real competition. That's one reason why I'm in favor of "fair-wage" tariffs on goods and services.
So, small businesses and Main Street should continue to get squeezed. And Wall Street gets to party with the money it's saving.
Change We Can Believe In
While small businesses and Main Street continue to struggle, Wall Street is doing just fine.
While small businesses and Main Street continue to struggle, Wall Street is doing just fine.
The last election changed nothing. With few exceptions, President Obama has made the same policy decisions we might have expected from President McCain. No matter who wins, I don't expect the next election to change anything either. Our "public servants" in Washington have been "captured" by Wall Street's deep pockets. They'll probably continue to shower their friends on Wall Street with gold, while sticking you with the shaft.
It's time to change — it's time to start looking out for yourself. The next time you get an urge to send a politician your hard-earned money, do yourself a favor and invest that cash in something real instead.
Here are three investment choices you might consider ...
  • WisdomTree Dividend ex-Financials ETF, symbol DTN. This fund holds a broad swath of stocks in every sector but financials. It pays a 3.9% yield, and those payouts could rise as a host of companies are raising dividends. And dividends are one thing Wall Street can't lie about.
  • Physical Gold and Silver. Wall Street and Washington consider gold a "barbarous relic" because they can't control it, and gold's continued outperformance shines the light of truth on the lies peddled in the corridors of power. Owning physical gold is an act of rebellion. Maybe it's time you joined the revolution.
  • The Best Gold and Silver Stocks. You can buy individual stocks, and many of the best ones are tracked in the Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX). By the way, some of the miners in the GDX, like Barrick Gold (ABX) and Newmont Mining (NEM), are raising their dividends. Owning a gold miner that pays and is raising dividends is the best of both words — you'll own a stock that pays you and you can ride what should be a great rally to come in gold.
One final word of warning: Like I said, I'm not standing in front of this bus as the market goes higher, but remember that the same kind of thing happened in 2007-2008. The economy went to heck and the markets still went higher ... for a while. We know how that movie ended. This time around, consider taking shelter in stocks you don't mind holding when the market goes lower (like companies paying secure dividends) or be ready to head for the exits.
Good luck, and good trades,
Sean
