My kind of doctor! Interestingly he discusses the four flu deaths in Kiryat Gat, with new details emerging, "A candid interview with Doctor-X."

Contributed by bill, thank you

A candid interview with Doctor S

Surgeon

Doctor S is a summa cum laude graduate of one of the world's best medical schools. He is a general practitioner who spends half his time in his private clinic, and the other half as a public-medicine physician in Israel's Kupat Cholim system. He is an individual of rare integrity and a veteran of three wars. At age 63, he's still a renegade, and a medical version of a Frank Serpico. Therefore, we have to cloud his identity for obvious reasons, as you'll soon see:

LB: Dr. S, would you describe yourself as a religious person?

Dr. S: Not in your sense of the word. But, I have a strong faith in The Creator and tremendous respect for our Jewish heritage.

LB: From your standpoint, does emuna play a role in medicine?

Dr. S: It sure does, not only from the patient's angle, but from the doctor's angle. My atheistic colleagues are blind to their own deficiencies. It's literally impossible to cure without the Creator's help.

LB: Are you saying that for my benefit?

Dr. S: You know me better than that. A physician that doesn't recognize that he or she is a mere messenger of The Creator is probably arrogant and ineffective. Even worse, he or she is dangerous.

LB: Does that explain the recent scandal in an Israeli hospital where 12 doctors were arrested for experimenting on patients?

Dr. S: That and more. A physician with no emuna believes he has the right to give and take life, especially for the advancement of his own career and/or bank account.

LB: What type of experiments do they perform?

Dr. S: A surgeon may try a totally experimental procedure on a patient with no firm family backing or round-the-clock supervision, such as a neglected old person. If he succeeds, he gets fame, money, and a write-up in a medical journal. If he flops, they bury the patient and nobody cares. That's why you people are problematic.

LB: What do you mean?

Dr. S: Haredi patients are usually surrounded by a bevy of caring children and grandchildren, with representatives of the Haredi community that keep an eye on doctors. Most doctors won't toy around with a patient that benefits from strong family and community support.

LB: So the lonelier a patient is, the more vulnerable he or she is to experiments?

Dr. S: Correct.

LB: What happened 7 weeks ago when 4 Israelis died of flu vaccination?

Dr.S: The Health Department is working day and night to cover their bases, so I don't categorically know. Behind closed doors, I've heard that a bad batch of vaccine snuck its way into Israel.

LB: How can that happen?

Dr. S: Public medicine, especially here in Israel, is looking to save money. Frequently, procurement managers buy cheap batches of outdated drugs from the USA, and use them widespread here.

LB: Are you serious? How so?

Dr. S: Suppose that a certain antibiotic has long been outshined on the USA drug market, and the manufacturer is stuck with a big inventory; the same antibiotic is then offered to Kupat Cholim for a song. Now, all the doctors in public clinics here will be instructed to give this antibiotic to anybody that walks in the door.

LB: What do you have to say about antibiotics?

Dr. S: Use only as a last resort. We don't give the body a chance to repair itself. Many drugs destroy the body's ability to fight disease on its own. Nevertheless, I want to stress that when somebody has a strep throat with 104 F. fever, then you zap them with antibiotics - there's no other choice. But, I don't give antibiotics for the flu (unlike many of my colleagues that give antibiotics for anything), because they do nothing against viruses.

LB: Do you recommend flu shots?

Dr. S: No! Sometimes, the flu vaccine embeds viruses within the body that we don't know how to dislodge.

LB: What about alternate medicine?

Dr. S: Depends; it's wildcat, especially here in Israel, and you could fall into the hands of a quack. I do believe in herb medicine, grandma remedies, natural foods and diet, and good old exercise.

LB: What's your opinion on Ritalin for kids?

Dr. S: Do you ride horses, rabbi?

LB: Whenever I have the chance...

Dr. S: Then you know that a spirited horse is sometimes hard to break in, but once you do, you have a good mount. Giving a hyperactive child Ritalin is like drugging a horse instead of training it. No, I believe that caring and dedicated teachers don't need Ritalin solutions.

LB: Do you recommend regular checkups?

Dr. S: As long as you feel good, stay away from doctors.

Unbelievable! Is this also "Another false claim made against JNF"?

Contributed by Jack. Thank you, DS

It is time that Jews stop donating to the Arab (Jewish) National Fund!
I am calling on every Jew who has donated in the past to JNF to initiate legal action against the JNF leadership!
ASAP!

And if you ask me why?

"…Amara and five other JNF employees took part, 10 days ago, in an extraordinary project that involves the JNF assisting in planting trees in the area where a new Palestinian city, Ruwabi, is scheduled to be built north of Ramallah. The name means "City of Hills."
I can imagine the dedicatory plank at the Ruwabi Park:
" The Palestinian nation and the residents of Ruwabi
Bless & thank
 in the name of Muhamad
and in the spirit of every Shahid, the friends of the Pal' nation:
Mr. Robinson, Mr. Levi, Mr. Klein, Mr. Blachor,
Mr. Lauder,  Mr. Cohen,  Mr. Katz….
And all the JNF donors that were the first pioneers of the First Palestinian City!"

As a son of a family whose roots are from North America & the UK, and who today all live in Eretz Yisrael, I am ashamed that the Jewish leadership in North America, Europe, South America & Asia is allowing JNF to act in this way,
Your voices must be heard!

If you continue to let KKL get away with acting as they are at this time,
Your name will be forever written on the same list as people like:
Yossi Beilin,  Shulamit Aloni, Yossi Sarid, Yassar Arafat, Faisel El- Huseni, Shimon Peres, as the founders of the Pal' state (God forbid!)

A new Palestinian city takes root - with JNF trees

By Eli Ashkenazi

Hirui Amara excitedly held a bunch of pine seedlings and was quick to dip their soft roots in a bucket of water. Several seconds later he was next to an elderly man, and helped him plant one of the seedlings.

This was the end of an exciting day for Amara, who heads a Jewish National Fund greenhouse at Golani Junction.

Amara and five other JNF employees took part, 10 days ago, in an extraordinary project that involves the JNF assisting in planting trees in the area where a new Palestinian city, Ruwabi, is scheduled to be built north of Ramallah. The name means "City of Hills."

As a first step, the JNF contributed 3,000 tree seedlings for planting in what is meant to be a forested area on the edges of the new city. At the same time, the forestry experts of the JNF have been advising the city planners on the matter.

Suhil Zaydan, one of the JNF's forestry managers, is serving as liaison between the organization and the city planers.

"There have been a number of meetings, both at the location where the city will be built and also at the JNF greenhouses," he says. "We have contributed with our know-how, by advising on how to prepare the ground for the planting and how public gardens should be planned, as well as the best times for planting, and what kinds of trees it is preferable to plant. We did not talk about politics and we shall not talk about it - we deal with trees and understand forestry, botany and greenhouses."

The ambitious project of building a city from scratch has drawn an estimated investment of $800 million, mostly from Palestinian and Qatari sources.

The plan is for 6,000 housing units over a 6,300 dunam area that is supposed to provide housing for nearly 40,000 people and employ some 10,000 Palestinian workers. The project is aimed at the Palestinian middle class.

Zaydan says that a new kind of planning attitude is involved.

"There is no other city like it in our area with regards to the ecological-forestry aspects of planning. Everything will be natural, and there is great attention to preserving nature, the trees, the springs, the streams, the topography and other values, such as antiquities. During the planning stage the natural resources are taken into account," he said.

Ruwabi will be located nine kilometers northwest of Ramallah. A few days ago, at what will be one of the entrances to the city, workers were busy setting up a large sign advertising the project.

Several hours before traveling to the site of the tree planting, Amara was ready at the greenhouse for the truck to arrive so that the seedlings could be loaded.

"This is not a regular day of work," he said. "Today there is a sense that something special is happening. This is a project that grants hope to young people for a better future. I am proud that I am party to this thing."

Like a proud father who nurtured his children, he walked through the rows of seedlings.

"These are seedlings of high quality from every respect - thickness, shape, health, development of its roots," he said.

The seedlings originate from locations throughout the country where seeds were collected and were planted at the greenhouse under conditions favorable to their species.

A bumpy ride along a dirt path comes to an end at the foothills of the settlement of Ateret, at the edge of what will be Ruwabi. Dozens of people are there to plant, ranging in age from youth to people in their 60s, waiting for the truck with the seedlings.

Everyone brought tools from home. One person has a metal hoe with a serial number dating back to Ottoman times.

"This is a very old hoe which belonged to my grandfather," he tells the JNF people, who are amazed by the fact.

Michael Weinberg of the JNF acknowledges that there is a great deal of "professional pride in the project. We are helping in any way we can."

Kneeling to touch the earth, he is optimistic: "There are excellent conditions here."

Comments:

Yekutiel writes:

I thought there was a freeze of building in the "territories" and that the Jewish establishment supports freezing building in these disputed areas so as not to prejudice the final status talks .

DS replies:

Yekutiel,  you live in a time warp! That was in 1993, when they were still pretending!

And I love the way Nadia Matar puts it, and of course, concurs:

ADVISE ALL DONORS: NO MORE MONEY TO JNF!!

I hope Ran Nachman means what he says, and I hope other mayors follow suit. THE GOVERNMENT OF ISRAEL FULLY COLLABORATES WITH THE MAFIA RULING THE WORLD; despicable!

Ariel Mayor: I Won't Enforce Building Freeze

Kislev 12, 5770, 29 November 09 12:56by David Lev(Israelnationalnews.com)

Ariel Mayor Ran Nachman on Saturday night called on mayors of cities in Judea and Samaria to cut off all ties with the Defense Ministry in protest over the decision to impose a building freeze in Judea and Samaria – and, he says, he has no plans to enforce the freeze.

"Is this freeze so important that they had to distribute the orders banning construction on Friday afternoon, right before Shabbat?," Nachman asked rhetorically. Speaking to Arutz 7, Nachman said that "when the Defense Ministry called me on Friday afternoon, I thought that a war had broken out. I do not intend to remain silent in light of the humiliation and shame that the mayors of towns in Judea and Samaria have been put through. I plan to petition the High Court over the despicable way the authorities chose to distribute these orders, without giving us the right to respond, without listening to us, summarily taking away our rights.
"The Defense Minister, without feeling or intelligence, ran roughshod over our rights," continued Nachman. "He thinks he is still leading an IDF intelligence unit and that we are the enemy. Because they took away my authority as mayor to authorize projects in my jurisdiction, I hereby give up my authority to enforce these orders. If anyone violates this building freeze in my jurisdiction I will not act against them. If the Civil Administration wants to handle it, they are welcome to. I am out of the picture," Nachman added.

UPDATE:

Elkanah Mayor: Take Those Freeze Orders and Shred Them

Kislev 12, 5770, 29 November 09 11:20(Israelnationalnews.com)

Elkanah local authority chairman Tsadok Zahory joined a growing list of mayors in Judea and Samaria who has refused to accept orders handed down by the Defense Ministry putting the government's building freeze in Judea and Samaria into effect. Zahory told an IDF officer who came to his office to submit the orders that he was not interested in receiving them, and when she asked what she should do with them, Zahory answered "there is a great shredding machine outside my office. You may take the orders and shred them, if you wish."

On Friday, Beit El mayor Moshe Rosenbaum ripped up the orders that were submitted to him. On Saturday night, Ariel mayor Ron Nachman said he would not enforce the ban on building. " If anyone violates this building freeze in my jurisdiction I will not act against them. If the Civil Administration wants to handle it, they are welcome to. I am out of the picture," Nachman said.

..... ON THE OTHER END OF THE SPECTRUM, POISON DWARF......

Barak: Emergency Hiring of Building Inspectors

Kislev 12, 5770, 29 November 09 12:04(Israelnationalnews.com)

Defense Minister Ehud Barak has put out an emergency call for building inspectors to be hired in order to enforce the government's building freeze in Judea and Samaria. Barak ordered Ministry officials to hire 40 inspectors to ensure that no building takes place in the affected areas. The new inspectors will be trained and on the job within two weeks.

Currently there are only 14 inspectors working in Judea and Samaria. Barak's office said that the inspectors would work in tandem with police, border police, and the civil administration, under the general responsibility of the IDF.

HMMM: I THOUGHT THERE WAS A SHORTAGE OF BUILDING INSPECTORS? I GUESS WHEN THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY!

Activist: We Can Bypass Construction Freeze:

Don't Build, Buy!

Kislev 12, 5770, 29 November 09 12:26by Malkah Fleisher(Israelnationalnews.com)

Israel Lands Fund activist Aryeh King is calling on Jews to circumvent the "discriminatory" 10-month ban on construction imposed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Jewish building in Judea and Samaria .

"I call on Jews who hesitate to build in order not to be put under the microscopes of the inspectors, to buy homes of Arabs," suggested King. "I'm talking about thousands of buildings and luxury residential homes and houses scattered in throughout Judea and Samaria… that the inspectors could not prevent. The Defense Minister could prevent the purchase permit, but if you work by the book and buy homes, then it will be difficult to fight us. I call on people to continue to buy houses in order to escape the eyes of the anti-Jewish unit."

King condemned recent statements made by Attorney General Menachem Mazuz that there is a shortage of building inspectors available to ensure the Jews of Judea and Samaria do not build.
"Menachem Mazuz exposed the grim picture of the illegal building of Arabs in Judea and Samaria, in Jerusalem, as well as Bedouin building in the Negev," said King. "To illustrate the discrimination, it should be noted that there are currently 3,000 building offenses carried out by Judean and Samarian Jews being investigated by 16 inspectors from the special anti-Jewish unit of the civil administration whose goal is to catch Jews. Juxtapose that to [Arab] eastern Jerusalem, in which 26,000 building violations are being investigated by just 6 inspectors from the Jerusalem municipality. In the Galilee, 18,000 building violations are being investigated by just 8 inspectors."

Regarding inspectors who have been trained specifically to catch Jews, King said, "These are quality folks that were put on to the task of nabbing Jews in illegal development inside blue lines and open areas – they're not going into Areas B and C in the event of illegal Arab construction."

King also decried the relentless persecution of Jews who conduct illegal building, and said Jews are specifically targeted, as juxtaposed to Arabs who are sometimes not administered over at all.

"Menachem Mazuz is right about the shortage of inspectors, but I suggest he first compare the situation to that which prevails in eastern Jerusalem. The Jerusalem municipality and the Interior Ministry are supposed to halt the illegal building in Jerusalem, and there are whole neighborhoods they won't even go into." King referred to the Arab neighborhoods of Qalandia and Shuafat, in which he said he personally submitted requests for building investigations to the authorities, but received no "appropriate response.
King also accused inspectors of intensifying their conduct toward Jews for political motives. "The inspection unit of the Ministry of Defense was instructed to worsen and increase their enforcement against Jews, prompted by Defense Minister [Ehud] Barak, seemingly to strengthen the Labor Party [of which Barak is a member]."

Protest or Posturing? Are There Any YESHA Leaders?

I'd say that we've been had, bamboozled, conned!

Rebellion From The Ranks? Or Just Posturing?

I'm one of the simple citizens, Israeli citizens disgusted but not really surprised that our Prime Minister, the Likud's Benjamin Netanyahu has buckled under "foreign pressure," and declared a new White Paper forbidding Jewish growth in the Land of Israel.

What irony that Bibi sent Benny Begin off to defend it. Begin son of Menachem sounded just like his father, and I trust him even less. I remember Menachem Begin's claim that his giving the Sinai to Egypt would guarantee Israel's eternal possession of Judea and Samaria.
As compensation for the destruction of Jewish communities in the Sinai many communities were rebuilt with international guarantees in Gush Katif, and we all know what happened to them.

And yes, those two unprecedented massive destructions were under the rule/administration of the Likud. Yes, only the Likud can do it. Israel's Loony Left Defense Minister Ehud Barak sent out official orders forbidding future building right before Shabbat.

Ariel's Mayor Ron Nachman condemned it and claims that he will ignore them. Beit El's Mayor Moshe Rosenbaum ripped up the orders he received. Efrat has suffered from building hold-ups for eight years already.
How ironic, since Efrat, as the largest community of Gush Etzion, has always marketed itself as "not a settlement," being in the "Israeli consensus" to always be in Israel. It's about time that residents of Gush Etzion take a good look and good listen and admit that those who object to my being in Shiloh don't see their addresses as any more acceptable. They should unite with us and proudly say that they, too, are "settlers."
Nadia and Ruth Matar's Women in Green (or was it Moetzet YESHA?) had a great slogan in its early years:
YESHA ze kahn! YESHA is here!

I attended their demonstrations all over the Jerusalem area to show the old defunct "green line." Most Israelis have no idea where it was. Remember that the Six Days War was in 1967; that's forty-two and a half years ago. Even Israelis in their mid-forties who grew up in Jerusalem can't remember what it was like before we liberated our Land. They can't imagine Jerusalem without Ramat Eshkol, French Hill, Ramot, Giloh etc.

Barak used that dangerous term to describe the decision, "unilateral."

Barak, meanwhile, said at a closed meeting at his ministry in Tel Aviv, "We are talking about a unilateral step, at the government's initiative, which has been coordinated with the United States, with the intention of advancing the diplomatic process with the Palestinians."

That means that we get nothing for it. And Israel has tried that method with one consistent result every time. It has only made things worse, more terrorism and more death and destruction for Israelis.

Binyamin Netanyahu and family may be occupying the Prime Minster's Residence, but our government's policies are from Ehud Barak, whose Labor Party received very few votes. I'd say that we've been had, bamboozled, conned!

Now, it's very "photo op" that Moshe Rosenbaum and Ron Nachman have made their little protests. What's next?

Palpable joy!

This is exactly what the state of Israel should do... don't count on it, though, servile as they are. EVERY COUNTRY SHOULD FOLLOW SUIT TOO: after all, THE VATICAN WAS NEVER IN, RIGHT?!

Russia Could Withdraw from WHO Over Swine Flu Corruption
Saturday, 28 November 2009 10:16

A Russian deputy of the Duma has called for Russia to withdraw from the WHO if an investigation into the alleged collusion between the WHO and pharmaceutical companies on the swine flu scandal proves to be accurate, according to reports in the European media.

Igor Barinov, Member of the Commission of the State Parliament (Duma) in Charge of Corruption, said that there needed to be an investigation into whether experts advising WHO received money from pharmaceutical industry and whether this influenced WHO to declare a pandemic level 6 emergency for the first time in 40 years in spite of the fact that the swine flu is neither lethal nor spreading rapidly.

Danish journalists belonging to "Information" concluded that the swine flu could be the biggest case of corruption in our era after examining links between experts of WHO and the pharmaceutical companies.

WHO recommended the purchase of the controversial Swiss-based Roche’s Tamilfu in spite of evidence the drug causes serious side effects. The Ukrainian ministry for health bought large and excessive stocks of Tamiflu.

“The organization is suspected of corruption. We certainly must carry out a meticulous inquiry before making any decision,” Barinov declared on Friday to journalists.

“If the information is confirmed, we will have to put the question of whether it makes sense for Russia to belong to WHO, and to suspend our membership if necessary”.

Russia has spent more than 4 billion roubles so far on the swine flu.

Barinov suggested making the head of the investigation of WHO, the Russian representative in this organization, the member of the executive committee of WHO, Vladimir Starodoubov.

“Nobody calls into question the services rendered in the 20th century by WHO in the fight against the malaria, AIDS, but today it should asked whether this organization is not struck itself by the virus of corruption, and up to what point these recommendations are founded, up to what point can we trust it,” said Barinov.

The director of the Russian National Sanitary Surveillance Institute Guennadi Onichtchenko said in a meeting with the general prosecutor of the federation of Russia for legislation in the pharmaceutical field that the fight against the swine flu in the world has the characteristics of a plot.
There is also mounting evidence WHO was instrumental in spreading AIDS.
