Israel Plans Additional Gestures to PA

(IsraelNN.com) Israeli officials are planning additional "gestures" to ease restrictions on Palestinian Authority Arabs, according to Army Radio.  Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak will discuss the plans with United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday.  Rice said Saturday that one of her goals in her current trip to the region was to convince Israel to ease travel for PA Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

Security officials said Israel will remove dozens of roadblocks in Judea and Samaria and will remove one or two checkpoints as well.  Senior PA businessmen will be granted reduced travel restrictions, and thousands more PA Arabs will be granted permits allowing them to work for Israeli employers.

Aircraft in Australia Attacked by Laser Lights, Sun-Herald Says

March 30 (Bloomberg) -- Six airplanes flying into Sydney Airport on March 28 were attacked by people shining laser lights from the ground, Australia's Sun-Herald newspaper reported.

Pilots notified air traffic controllers after the laser- beam attacks began at 10:15 p.m. local time in Sydney's south- west, the newspaper said. Police, who arrived in the area at 10:45 p.m., couldn't find the perpetrators, the newspaper said.

Air traffic controllers closed the flight path and diverted incoming planes to a different runway, the newspaper said. Some aircraft landed as much as 30 minutes late, it reported.

Home Affairs Minister Bob Debus said the government would look at banning imports of laser lights, and also at increasing penalties for shining a laser light at an airplane from the current two years of jail time, the newspaper reported.

I think your point is very well taken. However, from the little I know of Rabbi Lazar Brody., I have NEVER heard him condemn anybody or anything. He lives in the beautiful world of Rabbi Nachman where all that counts is love and peace.

Very nice, but sometimes, I agree, specially when you have a chance and you could SAVE JERUSALEM, it would be nice to take a stand.

So I will forward this e-mail to Rabbi Brody. Maybe he will find it in his heart to call Eli Yishai and remind him of his duty towards his fellow Jews ( of course, with love and kindness, as usual....).
