Those young people are at the forefront of the struggle against Agenda 21 and dictatorship, whose stalwarts in Israel are Peres, Barak, Bibi, Livni and co. We need to support them any way we can. THEY NEED GUARDS, LOTS OF THEM, more than anything! They need to put the fear of God in those thugs: the problem is, the criminals are not afraid at all. Time for THEM to be afraid! That is what is happening in the US, the government is deathly afraid of the people, and that is the way it should be; that is what the Second Amendment  of the U.S. Constitution is all about, to protect the people against criminal and abusive government. You are correct in asking ,concerning the outlying communities in Judea and Samaria, what guarantee do we have that they will not be destroyed again ?

The truth is we do not have any such thing. There is no guarantee about any of the communities in YESHA or for that matter, anywhere in Israel!

What we have here is a extremely rare commodity. A group of young idealogical couples and single people willing to live in difficult conditions. What makes them unique is that they are willing to sacrifice what little money they have and take loans to help establish their homes and an outlying community, without any "assistance" from the government. That means no roads,water, electricity, sewage, public buildings of any type or services.

This has been their lot for the last two years until last Wednesday when the government came and destroyed half the homes built. Because they have chosen to remain independent and not attach themselves to strings attached govt. aid like many other communities wishing to"develop" they are isolated and left to fend on their own. The govt. and its willing lackies are counting on good people like yourself losing faith and feeling hopeless so as to not do anything to help.

Ma'aleh Rechavam is part and parcel of eastern Gush Etzion which is first in line on the chopping block once Netanyahu forms the coalition he is looking for.

This why we at Mishmeret Yesha have been working, physically, since last March to help this community establish roots. We have brought tractors to cut the roads, carve out lots, pour concrete slabs, dig sewage pits and in the last weeks put up electric poles and string cables.

Of course the root of the problem is a complete lack of a true ideological leadership, that has no vision, direction or will to do anything. That is not something that will be rectified shortly. Therefore we need to pull together all the positive forces helping share the burden and struggle to win.

This morning, early, i received a call from some one in the Shomron who received a phone call from a woman travelling to Jerusalem on the eastern Tekoah rd at the security crossing before Har Chomah.

She noticed a huge gathering of security forces on the side of the road preparing to head South. She pulled over and counted 12 full buses of Border Police, 32 military jeeps , five tank transporters carrying bulldozers and 12 police vans carrying Yasam-special riot police.

This young woman, having lived her whole life in outlying communities and outposts, intuitively knew something was up and tried calling her husband at home in Ma'aleh Rechavam(MR) to warn him and all the others that something major was underway. She could not call, the security forces electronically jammed all cell phones communications to isolate MR from the rest of the world. Yes, something major was underway.

This women dropped off her children at the kindergarten in Har Choma, decided to skip work, turned south and raced home to MR fearing her home was about to be destroyed. She tried every which way to get back home but that was impossible, she spent a very emotional nerve wracking 2 hours waiting on the side of the road .

Finally the road opened and a huge convoy of security forces began leaving the area. As she approached the mountain ridge road overlooking MR she saw a shocking site of destruction unlike anything that was witnessed since the destruction in 2005 of Gush Katif. All the new beautiful homes that were built with borrowed monies belonging to all her friends, all people that she and her husband had encouraged and worked tirelessly, so that they would come and build a new community in the Judean desert were massive heaps of rubble. Having been overtaken by the site she began sobbing uncontrollably while attempting to drive, losing control several times and running off the road. She finally made it back to the other end of the community and saw her home, all in one piece, having been spared the wrath of.................... .

Running around, being an emotional wreck she managed to piece together what had happened in the last hours this morning as she left to work.

Those forces she spotted at the security crossing split up, with the army jeeps heading off road to seal off all the wadis, dirt roads and overlooking ridges leading to MR for a surrounding 5 kms.

The Police and Border Police, all dressed in black jump suits (sound familiar)entered MR, armed with maps and ariel photographs surrounding 9 homes and ordered everyone out.

As this was happening a special military engineering unit cut off water and electricity to MR.

Once the 780 Police felt they had secured every square inch of MR they brought in 50 Arab laborers wearing yellow reflective vests and sent them into the homes to remove whatever household goods. Having completed that within minutes the bulldozers entered MR and tore into the homes completing total destruction within minutes.

They then pulled back away from the crushed walls and charged a second time, concentrating on tearing up the foundations and concrete slabs and dumping the the chunks of concrete on top of the destroyed structure.

 Nine homes were destroyed in minutes. One home, a family that had moved from the city two weeks ago, never lived or experienced Yishuv life before were in a state of shock having been ordered out of their home by black jump suited riot police, watching all their personal belongings tossed out on the ground. When the tractor tore through their front walls exposing the living room, the wife collapsed having fainted and has been in a state of traumatic shock ever since.

A highly organized and executed operation of this scale requires a great deal of preparation and is director ed from the highest political offices in Israel. A great many people were behind this atrocity, it will take some time to reveal some and hopefully all of them.

Mishhmeret Yesha has been involved in helping this important outpost develop with roads, water, electricity, trees and many other areas since last March.

Beyond the basic needs of playground, synagouge , Mikve and much more, now these young couples who have sacrificed all they own and are in debt to pay for the homes they just built and are now homeless.

Crucial funds are needed to pay the attorney representing MR at the supreme court who has been battleing a (4 Yr. old) Peace Now initiative and obtained a temporary stay order preventing further destruction and is now forcing the govt, to show cause and Justify this attrocity.

 I think that the residents of Maaleh Rehav'am whose homes were destroyed by Ehud Barak's forces have a very good chance of winning a lawsuit against Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and whoever else concocted and participated in that arbitrary, unfounded, illegitimate assault against their persons and property. Even in the Israeli justice system there was no legal justification for the destruction perpetrated by the criminals in uniform, it was a clear violation of property owners' civil rights, and even Asher Grunis admitted that this should not have been taking place - unfortunately a few hours after the fact. They should find out exactly who ordered the operation and go after those individuals, whether in this country or foreign officials. Time for Jews to defend themselves! If we could do it in Persia, we certainly should be doing it in the Land of Israel! Down, and I mean DOWN,  with all Amalekites, even those, including Ehud Barak, masquerading as Jews and residing among us.

After all, it is a Divine command, isn't it?

Yesterday I wrote a long article about the complete and rapid surrender of Givat Ha'Ulpana's leaders to the demands of the government to destroy the neighborhood, which I also discussed in a radio interview on the Barry Chamish show, link provided below:

 In it, quoting an impressive and scholarly article from Jewish sources re: who the Erev Rav is, which points a finger at rabbis and religious leaders, I agreed with that author and attributed the rabbis' wholesale surrender to them being a secret form of the Erev Rav. However this morning upon awakening I had a sudden flash of understanding, which I think is more correct. So for now I do withdraw my statements about them being the Erev Rav, and I apologize sincerely if I maligned somebody unwittlingly. In my radio interview I also pointed to the various righteous rabbis who are indeed deserving of our praises for their courageous stand. But even for the rabbis who did and do go along with the demands of the government, I think there are other explanations, found in our scriptures and otherwise, that would better explain the rabbis' and our leaders' wholesale surrender to the criminal government's demands.

Yes, there is the power seeking element, yes, there is the lucre. After all, if a rabbi or some other leader is involved in a real estate deal and that is his livelihood, of course he will be swayed by the potential profit and losses deriving from it, after all he is human. That is why the Torah warns us in the strongest terms not to use it for personal gain. That is why our greatest sages traditionally earned their keep in other professions, cobblers, store keepers, etc: they never gained a penny from Torah. Torah can only be tought Lishma. The moment a salary is in question, and particularly if that salary comes from a corrupt and evil government, there is a serious problem, as proper judgment is in question.

 That is why Moshe Rabbeinu clearly states in this week's parsha, Korach:

 Numbers 16: 15

  לֹא חֲמוֹר אֶחָד מֵהֶם נָשָׂאתִי

" I have not taken even a single donkey of theirs... "

I have not led Am Yisrael for profit.

Moshe's fortune came from a sapphire mine that Hashem had showed him and given to him, not from Pharaoh's treasury, - actually it was Korach who had been Pharaoh's treasurer! - not from a salary from the government, not from money raised for a Yeshivah and used in a real estate deal, subject to issues of profit and losses, subject to authorization from a corrupt and evil government. We saw what happened to the rabbi of the Yeshivah of Har Bracha, Rav ELIEZER Melamed (NOT ZALMAN Melamed of Beth El). The rav of Har Bracha stood his ground against the government, he was harassed by Barak and his Yeshiva ostracized. Rabbi Shapira, Z"L, told the truth, stood his ground, and seven innocent pupils from Mercaz Harav were massacred one Rosh Chodesh Adar. Accident? Of course not. There is retaliation against rabbis who refuse to play ball, who refuse to be corrupted.

Yes, there is an Erev Rav element of attachment to power and money.

But there is more to it:

The surrender of the rabbis happened Tuesday night, on the cusp of both parshiot, Shelach Lecha, and Korach. Both of those parshiot are very relevant to what happened. In Shelach Lecha we learned about the Spies, the MERAGLIM who came back to Am Yisrael with the following report:

Numbers 13: 31-33

לא  וְהָאֲנָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר-עָלוּ עִמּוֹ, אָמְרוּ, לֹא נוּכַל, לַעֲלוֹת אֶל-הָעָם:  כִּי-חָזָק הוּא, מִמֶּנּוּ.	31 But the men that went up with him said: 'We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.'
לב   וַיֹּצִיאוּ דִּבַּת הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר תָּרוּ אֹתָהּ, אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֵאמֹר:  הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר עָבַרְנוּ בָהּ לָתוּר אֹתָהּ, אֶרֶץ אֹכֶלֶת יוֹשְׁבֶיהָ הִוא, וְכָל-הָעָם אֲשֶׁר-רָאִינוּ בְתוֹכָהּ, אַנְשֵׁי מִדּוֹת.	32 And they spread an evil report of the land which they had spied out unto the children of Israel, saying: 'The land, through which we have passed to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.
לג   וְשָׁם רָאִינוּ, אֶת-הַנְּפִילִים בְּנֵי עֲנָק--מִן-הַנְּפִלִים; וַנְּהִי בְעֵינֵינוּ כַּחֲגָבִים, וְכֵן הָיִינוּ בְּעֵינֵיהֶם.	33 And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.'

This is exactly what happened with our rabbis and our leaders. They repeated, almost exactly word for word, the sin of the Spies:

" Some battles cannot be won."

 The Anakim, the giants, are those steroid-pumped mercenaries, the thugs, the heavily armed police and army battalions of Peres, Ehud Barak, Bibi, and company, financed by our rich enemies. And just like the spies of old, our leaders got scared. They lacked the faith in God required of leaders of the Jewish People, the belief that Hashem will come to our aid if we only trust in Him, if we only have the courage to go up, and know that He will fight our battles, save us, and give us victory. It seems the rabbis themselves don't believe truly and deeply that God gave us this Land, that we have the right, no the obligation, to fight for it.

They were no Caleb, they were no Yehoshua. They were the Ten Spies named by name in the Torah. I could name our current "spies" by name too, but why should I? Everybody by now knows who those rabbis, who those sold-out leaders are.

The problem is that the People are following them blindly, just like in days of old. 

The leaders are to blame. They were punished in the Torah. Will they be punished this time as well?

It took a Nachson ben Aminadav to go into the raging waters, to face certain death, knowing with full faith that Hashem would come to Am Yisrael's rescue if only they trusted Him.

The only way to draw Hashem's grace is to have that courage, to have that faith. Without our faith Hashem will NOT come to our help. He demands of us that sacrifice, that show of trust in Him. That is a very difficult test: not every rabbi is ready to be a Rabbi Akiva, a martyr. And unfortunately we have had so many martyrs throughout the ages. On the other hand during the Holocaust we witnessed leaders, including some rabbis, who saved their own skins, hiding the truth from their followers, led them to their graves, while they themselves were led to safety. Yet there were leaders who, like the captain on the proverbial ship, got off last. In Gush Katif as well, the leaders who blinded the people were rewarded, while their victims were led to despair, misery and homelessness. Don't those leaders, those rabbis, suffer any remorse? How can they sleep at night? Or did they possibly cooperate with an evil government out of genuine concern for the survival of the people? But then whom were they really afraid of? Who was this fierce enemy they were so afraid of? Be honest; it was the israeli government, as there was not other enemy to fear there. So how could they cooperate with such an evil entity without denouncing it?

Notice the strange silence this past week of Rav Shmuel Elihayu, Rav Yaakov Yosef, Rabbi Ginsburg, and the empty statement of Rav Lior re: Givat Ha'Ulpana. Now go back to the saga of Torat Hamelech, and notice how just recently the rabbis were exonerated. Again, do you think it was by accident? Of course not. The date of their exoneration was 5/28. The deal was made on 6/19. The time of the exoneration was just about the time that two rabbis started a hunger strike in favor of the Regulation Law. The government saw trouble with the rabbis, and, true to its vile character, used one of its regular weapons: legal charges and harassment.

as they had been dragged in front of a police unit, the Yachbal,  created specially for international crimes and funded by the UN. They were about to be indicted in an international court for war crimes, and potentially dragged to the Hague to face a non-Jewish court of law. Have no doubt for a minute that the state of Israel would have extradited them in an instant. So just before the vote on the Regulation Law, the police handed them a carrot: be quiet, don't say a word, stay out of it, and we will leave you alone.

And indeed we did not hear from them. 

The stick, on the other hand, is the unending list of rabbis and leaders MURDERED by our government and the PTB for refusing to play ball with them. For countless recollection of cases, search the following labels on the blog:

And of course we haven't heard from any of the Haredi rabbis, who are just as guilty, as they are not coming to the aid of our poor persecuted leaders. 

Who can blame the rabbis, though? You have to be a real hero to dare face up to the monsters. Frankly, how many of us are up to the test? An Abraham was, a Daniel was, a Rabbi Akiva was, a Mordechai was, a Nachshon ben Aminadav was, a Yehoshua was, a Caleb was; but the great majority of our leaders are simply scared.

WHAT WE NEED TODAY IS SIMPLE FAITH, the simple courage to face up to the Goliaths of our days, the israeli government, the police, the Shabak, the Yassam, the Yamam, the UN, all the alphabet soup, Esav, Edom, and Yishmael.

Just like Caleb we need the Patriarchs; we also need Yosef's radiance to have the courage to face Esav; no wonder the PTB are trying to separate us from those two sources of strength and faith!

  Bar Association: Police Violated Demonstrators' Rights

  
  Co-chairmen Uri Keinan and Avi Himi of the Criminal Forum of the Israel Bar Association sent a letter to Police Commissioner Yochanan Danino, Sunday, complaining that a number of the approximately 80 people arrested during social-justice demonstrations, Saturday evening in Tel Aviv, were not allowed to consult with attorneys. They called it "a most important right, if not the most important right of a suspect" to guarantee due process.
  Bar Association head Doron Barzilai condemned acts of vandalism on the part of demonstrators as well as the tough response of the police, explaining that the right to freedom of expression is important, but not at the expense of security, property and public order.

 Legal Forum: Investigate Police Violence in Tel Aviv

The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel demanded, Sunday, that Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein investigate the use of force by police in breaking up Saturday evening's social-justice demonstration in Tel Aviv. Forum attorney Hila Cohen said, "It appears that the use of force passed the bounds of what is proportional and reasonable for breaking up a demonstration and reached real violence, which is serious and dangerous to the safety of the public as well as to the safety of democracy."
The forum said the police had an interest in investigating these acts in order to increase public confidence by eradicating excesses that don't meet the standard of the law. It said a new body to oversee state prosecutors should oversee the police too.

Thanks to "Anonymous", everything is clear now; without "Anonymous" I would never have read Stratfor's normally restricted articles; a friend far away would not have sent me a link to their temporarily free publication! The article that caught my attention is not the article that was sent to me, incidentally; it was another one, which I included below.

You see, after doing quite a bit of research earlier, I came to the conclusion that NATO and their members, which include the U.S. and Israel ( actually, Israel is not strictly speaking a member, although for all practical purposes it acts as one, totally cooperating with the organization), OFFICIALLY use Arabs to do their dirty work against Israel and the Jews, - which Europe has done for the longest time. You can go back to Tarpat, the massacres of Jews in Jerusalem and Hevron in 1929, and you will find the same thing: Arabs were used to chase the Jews away, murder and kill them, but in the end their bosses benefited just as much. This is institutionalized criminality, but it has been kept under wraps and secret for a long time: you see, those outwardly honorable governments would not want to be caught with their pants down, so to speak: openly declaring that they are using criminal thugs to do their dirty work does not sound too good; this is not something that a self-respecting Western government would want to go around proudly shouting on the rooftops. After all, "Noblesse oblige"; they are so much better than the common dictators they mercilessly destroy and preach to, right?!

But God is great: thanks to a passing remark by one of our friends today, who called those Muslim thugs mercenaries,... and then seeing the title on Stratfor's website: "The Use of Mercenaries in Syria's Crackdown", a light went on in my brain, and everything all of a sudden made sense to me: 

Israel and the U.S. are using the exact same methods as Bashar al-Assad! This would explain, very clearly, why all of the sudden the IDF Chief of Staff volunteered to let Bashar al-Assad's men "take refuge" in the Golan: here is a ready-made army of the very same mercenaries they have been using to remove the Jews from Mitzpe Avichai! And they ARE called mercenaries in Syria, without any shame. They even have a name: the Shabiha.

(Here is an INN article excerpt quoting the IDF Chief of Staff speaking on January 10, 2012, - only two days before this article about Syrian mercenaries appeared on Stratfor's website; I find the timing quite remarkable: who informed whom? Who decided this and when? Why now? What is the connection with this Stratfor intelligence information? Who got this intelligence before the article was written?

"...IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz said Tuesday that he expects Syrian President Bashar Assad to lose power and that the IDF is planning to absorb a large influx of Alawite Muslim refugees in the Golan Heights....")

Considering that the IDF intends to soon destroy Migron - see below - in the most cruel manner, 

Considering that the government understands that using Jewish IDF soldiers just won't cut it this time,

And considering the special unit that Ehud Barak created a while ago to deal with 'settlers' only , that is us,

It all makes sense now. The special unit is a UNIT OF MERCENARIES, A UNIT OF PLAIN CRIMINAL THUGS, just like Bashar Al-Assad's thugs, only WITH NATO'S BLESSINGS, SUPERVISION, AND COMPLICITY.

What should the response of us Jews be in such a case? I don't have the slightest doubt that our response has to be the strongest so far. We do not have an obligation to submit to those criminals; submitting to POGROMS is not being a good citizen, it is being a fool!

First of all, EXPOSE this story far and wide. The average Jew in Israel doesn't have the faintest idea about the truth.  EXPOSE the fact that these so-called legitimate governments are using common criminals and thugs to do their dirty work against us.

Second, EXPOSE the role of the US army on Israeli soil. This "joint exercise" is a sham. There is no joint exercise, as you have seen. What there is is a force of 9,000 heavily trained mercenaries, ready to do NATO's dirty work in Israel - with the willing cooperation of Ehud Barak and of Benny Gantz, who just flew to Brussels today to take his orders from his masters, who follow the orders of Germany, AKA the EU, AKA Rome, AKA AMALEK.

Aren't you going to finally open your eyes, Jews? What are you waiting for? Don't you see what these traitors are preparing for you? Won't you deal with these murderers the way murderers should be dealt with?

And what happened to you, Bibi? You, whose brother gave his life for his people: don't you have an ounce of shame, using criminal mercenaries against your own people? You are going to have to pay a very, very heavy price for your crimes, just as Sharon is paying right now, don't doubt that for an instant.

As for you, U.S. troops, we have you figured out. You can't pretend to be the righteous army you so hypocritically claim to be: you too, here in Israel, are nothing but an army of thugs, ready to pounce like a bull in a china shop, upon orders, against the Jews of Israel.

Better think before you act; otherwise God has a very good plan for you: read Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39: keep at it and you will all die a miserable death here - and we won't even have to do it to you: GOD will see to it, as Ezekiel prophecized over 2,000 years ago. And whoever joins you in a violent action against us, the Jews of Israel, whom God Himself gave this Land to, will suffer the same horrible fate. So, think very seriously before you act; you have been warned.

The regime of Syrian President Bashar al Assad has relied heavily on a local mercenary force known as the Shabiha in its crackdown on protests. Because of the sectarian makeup of the Syrian military, Damascus will likely continue this approach, despite the Shabiha's deficiencies in skill and strategy and growing objections from Syria's allies in Iran.

Analysis

Regimes in the Middle East have used hired thugs in crackdowns for some time, as seen in Iran, Egypt and Libya. In Syria, the government of President Bashar al Assad has relied particularly heavily on a group of loyalist mercenaries known as the Shabiha. This reliance exposes the constraints faced by the Syrian military, which is dominated by the minority Alawite sect, in trying to put down the unrest, as well as the high level of sectarianism that continues to distinguish the Syrian conflict from other instances of regional unrest.

The Shabiha: Origin and Expansion

The Shabiha, which means "phantom-like," first appeared in 1976 when the Syrian army entered Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war. The group consisted of young, mostly Alawite men from the coastal Syrian cities of Latakia, Tartus and Banias, which have high concentrations of Alawites. Operating along the Syrian coast and across the Syrian-Lebanese borderland, the Shabiha were mostly involved in the smuggling and sale of stolen goods between Syria and Lebanon, while many also robbed households and warehouses.
The Shabiha grew in number in the 1980s after an unsuccessful 1983 coup attempt by Rifaat al Assad, the brother of late former Syrian President Hafez al Assad. In the wake of the failed coup, Rifaat's Defense Companies, an elite Alawite force of roughly 55,000 soldiers that led the 1982 massacre of Sunni protesters in Hama, and intelligence units loyal to him were dismantled, and Rifaat was stripped of power and later forced into exile. Many of the fighters from the defunct Defense Companies eventually joined the ranks of the Shabiha.
Currently the Shabiha have around 20,000 members, who are paid on average about $40 per day, according to Stratfor sources. Many of the Shabiha the Syrian regime has recruited to deal with the unrest were uneducated, unemployed youths or criminals released from prison on the condition that they would go to extreme lengths to demonstrate their loyalty to the regime, and most work for the regime on a part-time basis while working other menial jobs. However, some have also reportedly made their way into the Sunni business community in Damascus and Aleppo, where they perform a range of bureaucratic functions. Not all Shabiha are involved in security operations; a significant portion is involved in media operations to help the regime disseminate messages that portray the opposition fighting the army as militant jihadists.
According to accounts by opposition activists, journalists and human rights monitors, the Syrian regime will typically bus Shabiha in to the more restive urban areas of the country, such as Homs and Hama, the outskirts of Damascus and Aleppo, and the border cities of Daraa and Talkalakh. Once there, the Shabiha will go door to door assaulting, jailing or killing suspected opposition members -- and their families, in some cases.
Most Shabiha operate in plainclothes, but more recently opposition members have described them as wearing newly manufactured police or black uniforms and carrying what appear to be new AK-47 assault rifles. These reports could not be confirmed, but it would not be surprising if the Syrian regime were investing extra money to formalize the Shabiha as one of its main lines of defense.

Iran and the Syrian Strategy

The al Assad regime's heavy reliance on the Shabiha is not a strategy that appears to have the full endorsement of Syria's main ally, Iran. According to a Stratfor source, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) helped train the Shabiha beginning in mid-March, when the first significant demonstrations broke out in Syria. Unlike Iran, which relied on young Basij militiamen -- who had been strongly indoctrinated in religion and integrated into the formal security apparatus -- to put down the so-called Green Revolution after the 2009 Iranian election controversy, Syria does not have well-trained militiamen at its disposal.
Iranian officials privately describe the Shabiha as unruly and grossly undisciplined. One Stratfor Iranian source labeled the Shabiha's use of violence as misguided and explained how the IRGC unsuccessfully attempted to convey to the Syrian militiamen that violence must be employed strategically so as to suppress and not proliferate unrest. The source's information suggests that the IRGC has concluded that the Shabiha could be doing more damage than good for the al Assad regime. For this reason, the source claims that the IRGC has given up on training the Shabiha and has instead deployed Hezbollah members to work with them and in some cases even defend Shabiha who have more recently become targets of attacks by the rebel Free Syrian Army.
Despite Iran's objections, the Syrian regime is unlikely to lessen its reliance on the Shabiha, primarily because of the sectarian environment in which the regime operates. Alawite officers, who are outnumbered by mostly low-to-mid-ranking Sunni conscript soldiers, dominate the Syrian military. Unwilling to fight against their coreligionists, many of the Sunni conscripts have deserted or defected to the Free Syrian Army. The regime crackdown has therefore been mostly led by all-Alawite forces, including the Republican Guard, Fourth Armored Division, the 14th and 15th Special Forces Divisions, riot police, Military Intelligence, Air Force Intelligence, the General Intelligence Directorate, the National Security Bureau, Baath Party security, the Political Security Directorate and, of course, the Shabiha. The regime has meanwhile been extremely hesitant to deploy more demographically mixed army divisions, which would be more prone to splitting along sectarian lines and undermining the unity of the army overall. The regime's reluctance to fully employ its armed forces means it will continue to rely on mercenaries for reinforcement in the crackdowns.
The heavy use of Shabiha could also help the al Assad regime moderate its rapidly growing dependence on Iran, which has taken advantage of the political crisis to expand the IRGC's presence in Syria. Al Assad's strategy concerning the Shabiha may be far from perfect, but, given the constraints he faces, it is one that appears to be helping the regime hold the line against Syria's still-fractured opposition and maintain cohesion in the army overall.

The eviction of residents and demolition of Migron will resemble the Disengagement, a senior  IDF officer in Central Command told reporters Tuesday.
"This is not another outpost eviction," he said. "Migron is a community. This is an unprecedented eviction compared to everything we have done until now."
The officer further estimated that unlike outpost evictions, the destruction of Migron will not be over in one night. "I think the reaction of the settlers will also be more meaningful," he said. He added: "This step will also hurt the security aspect" – possibly meaning that IDF forces will have to be set aside to deal with Jews, thus compromising the anti-terror effort.
The officer admitted that the press coverage of the Jewish riot at the Ephraim Brigade Base had been disproportional. "The subject received greater attention because of the spotlight that was pointed at the area that night. Events like this have happened in the past."
The officer said that the IDF is worried about the rise in terror attacks on motorists in Judea and Samaria. Both rock attacks and firebomb attacks are increasing, he said.
The technique of throwing rocks from inside a passing car at another car is relatively new, he said. "The phenomenon started last August. There appears to be a cell in Gush Etzion, and another one in Binyamin, that we have not yet put our hands on. The murder of Asher Palmer and his son gave terror groups a boost."
Another dangerous and new terrorist technique, he said, is that of terrorists disguised as Israeli police who put up roadblocks and use a police strobe light to complete the illusion. The purpose seems to be abduction of Jews.

No, Aharonovitch never said that the Jews of Yesha need to kill a politician in order to put his blood in Matzah for Pessach... but close.

Come on, now: we know perfectly well what those 'price tag' operations are: Shabak inventions, created for the sole purpose of inflaming public opinion against religious Jews of Yesha, also known as settlers. Every single time the police arrested some poor Yitzhar kid using wild and baseless accusations regarding those acts as an excuse, that kid was released for lack of evidence.

We have seen this pattern already before the Rabin assassination, so it's nothing new to us. Throughout the centuries the BLOOD LIBEL was used against Jews, it was a very effective tool of control, repression and murder: it was used by the Church, it was used by the Muslims, it was used by whoever wanted to get rid of the Jews.... and now it is being used by Internal Security Minister Aharonovich,  the Shabak's supervisor, against the Jews of Judea and Samaria. What does that tell us? That THEY are planning to murder somebody important, probably a politician - see how they are already preparing the public's minds with posters of Bibi in Nazi uniform!  If this is not a warning to Bibi, I don't know what is. Maybe he is terrified, he is getting the message loud and clear, and that is the reason he is opposing any reform of the judiciary, he is opposing removing a dangerous bridge at the Kotel today, while everybody is crying that it needs to be done. I think somebody high up is threatening him, and is planning to blame the settlers for the crime. Double-edged sword, poisonous arrow, directed at Bibi -  and if not at him, then at whom??? We know all about the Rabin assassination, the third bullet, etc. etc.......

So, public, beware. If ANYBODY gets killed in the next few months, we WILL know who the culprit is - and it won't be our children, it won't be settler kids, despite the media and the police's outcry: it will come straight from the Shabak, the agent of the Left, and the agent of the enemy powers in Israel.

Kiryat Motzkin Rabbi Questioned by Police

Rabbi David Druckman of Kiryat Motzkin was questioned by police over a letter he signed more than three years ago. "This is unreal."

Rabbi David Druckman, Chief Rabbi of the city of Kiryat Motzkin north of Haifa, was questioned on Sunday by police about his signing of a rabbis’ letter against employing Arabs.
The letter was written following the 2008 massacre in the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva in Jerusalem, when an Arab terrorist infiltrated the yeshiva and murdered eight Jews.
Rabbi Druckman, who refused to cooperate with the interrogators, told Arutz Sheva that he called on the police to also question former Mossad chief Ephraim Halevy. Halevy recently said that Israel’s hareidi-religious Jews are “a bigger existential threat to Israel than Iran and Ahmadinejad.”
“I told them that as a matter of principle I am not willing to cooperate in the investigation so long as they don’t question Ephraim Halevy for inciting against hareidim and as long as they don’t question those academics who incite against the State of Israel and against the Jews,” Rabbi Druckman said.
He added that the interrogators kept trying to ask him additional questions, but his response was that he is a law-abiding citizen and is convinced that his actions were consistent with the law.
Rabbi Druckman said that he does not know if the police now intend to question all the rabbis who signed the letter, but said that questioning a rabbi for signing a letter is “unreal.”
“Twice daily we hear inciting statements made by public officials and no one does anything about it, but in this case they are still talking about a three-year-old issue,” he said. “This is horrifying, especially if you recall that the letter was signed after a terrible massacre of yeshiva students.”
He added, “My feeling is that we’ve already gotten used to this farce and that is shameful, because when you are
