To the best of my ability I did post its main parts below) The contents of the article are quite shocking: apparently an Orthodox Jew from a Young Israel community in New Rochelle, NY is at the center of the coronavirus spread in New York. To quote Governor Andrew Cuomo: “New Rochelle, at this point, is probably the largest cluster of these cases in the United States” And then the article goes on to say that New Jersey has seen its first death, a non-Jew by the name of John Brennan (who strangely enough shares a name with the CIA director of Obama John Brennan, a convert to Islam who of course supported the Obama Iran deal and who also hails from New Jersey), and that several cases in New Jersey can be traced to the New Rochelle cluster. Do you realize what a boon this will be at the hands of the antisemites, who are growing by the minute in the US? What is all of this going to lead to? I hope I am wrong, but I expect more and more physical attacks on synagogues and other Jewish institutions and individuals as a result.
We don't have to go back very far in time: remember how the measles epidemic of 2019 was blamed on the Jews, and the consequences to the Jewish community. Just look at the New York Times article, and see how YOUNG ISRAEL OF NEW ROCHELLE SYNAGOGUE is right in the middle of the map. Not only is it a synagogue: those are Torah Jews, and the name ISRAEL appears smack in the middle of the map; how is that for a gift to Farrakhan, AOC, Omar, Tlaib and company, all the "palestinian" lovers, and all the other anti- Israel and "anti-Zionists", the new Amalekites? Now according to this scenario, BECAUSE of those darn Jews, New Yorkers are going to have to be confined to their homes, will get sick, will die.... Do you realize what this will mean to the Jews living in New York? And who is to say this will end in New York? Count on all the Amalekites in the US to blame the Jews, again and again. Now I really do worry about the welfare of the Jewish community of New York, which numbers over a million in New York City alone, and almost two million in New York State. And with the National Guard starting to get deployed, how will Jews be able to defend themselves physically if need be, as they started to do recently ? I am really, really worried for them. The state creates a ‘containment area’ in New Rochelle
With New Rochelle, a small city just north of New York City in Westchester County, emerging as the epicenter of the state’s outbreak, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Tuesday announced a targeted containment strategy to halt the spread of the virus.
“New Rochelle, at this point, is probably the largest cluster of these cases in the United States,” he said at a news conference on Tuesday.
The state’s plan focuses on a “containment area” in New Rochelle, where it would deploy the National Guard to clean schools and deliver food to quarantined residents, Mr. Cuomo said.

So, I'm watching Fox News on March 14th, probably the most fair network reporting on Arab-Israeli matters, and come time for the update on the recent massacre of innocents in Itamar in Samaria on the "West Bank," the young lady reporter chooses to begin by emphasizing that the slaughtered were right wing settlers. Leaving out the barbaric details--such as the throats of a three-month old infant and two other young children were slit--she then bemoans Israel's pledge to build more in the disputed area, where Jews have thousands of years of history, in response.
Some have already waxed eloquent on this tragedy in the face of routine, meaningless condemnations coming from far too many other circles. Indeed, many, like the reporter, sounded like they were blaming the victims themselves for their own murders.
Unfortunately, this was all very predictable…for lots of reasons.
Firstly, Israel itself is mostly to blame. It has been trying to please and appease others by literally baring the necks of its children to those who want it dead--regardless of its size--with the predictable consequences above. Unfortunately, this latest atrocity has plenty of company, and each time the Arab hero butchers have been virtually canonized by their own brethren.
It is said that two members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' own official security forces were arrested in conjunction with this latest act of Arab bravery--those same forces which have received hundreds of millions of dollars in aid, equipment, and training from America.
Time after time, when Israel has tried to show flexibility in the name of peace-making (with those who really have no such idea in mind) by easing up on security measures like checkpoints and such, Jews have gotten slaughtered as a result…both within Israel "proper" (the 9 to 15 mile wide sub rump state, created by the '49 armistice lines, that some of the world begrudgingly allows it) and beyond the Green Line--other parts of the original 1920 Mandate of Palestine where both Jews and Arabs were allowed to live, despite others' claims and demands.
No reasonable mind can contemplate a map of Israel within its 1949, UN-imposed armistice lines ( find it on a world globe without a magnifying glass, I dare you) and not understand its need for the more secure, defensible, real borders promised to it by the final draft of UNSC Resolution 242 after the '67 War--a conflict which started, by the way, with an Arab blockade of Israel, a casus belli.
The settlements' issue is all about Israel finally getting this buffer on a small portion of the territory it acquired after the Arabs' attempt on its life. It already gave back most of it with the return of the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt, as part of a now very-endangered treaty of peace with that nation, and later unilaterally withdrew from Gaza as well. And we all know what kind of "peace" Israel got from that gesture…thousands of rockets and mortars landing in Israel proper.
There is no doubt that Israel needs something far more concrete in any future dealings with Arabs--dealings which the "moderates" of the Arabs themselves merely call a Trojan Horse. And that "something" must include a meaningful territorial compromise (that will withstand torn up treaties of peace, hudna ceasefires, and such) in the disputed territories in Judea and Samaria. The latter were known by those names for thousands of years before British imperialism dubbed them the West Bank in the early 20th century--and elsewhere as well. Think Golan Heights…
The very language being used today lends itself to problems in perception. And the young Fox news reporter has plenty of company in her ignorance--innocent or otherwise. The American State Department, the current occupant of the White House, and far too many others come to mind.
In the eyes of such folks, Arabs and only Arabs have legitimate rights in the discussion.
Indeed, that language was recently used by President Obama's UN representative, Susan Rice, when she repeated her boss's and the State Department's remarks referring to Jews living beyond the Auschwitz/armistice lines as illegitimate.
So, you see, the recently slaughtered innocents really had it coming to them…
How dare Jews go beyond the enclosed miniscule ghetto the world demands of them…even if it is to land their forefathers lived in thousands of years before the Arab conquest and in which they continued to own land and live in until their massacre by Arabs in the 1920s and 1930s.
It is the same language which enables Arabs--who burst out of what is now Saudi Arabia some fourteen centuries ago and conquered, settled, slaughtered, colonized, and forcibly Arabized countless millions of non-Arab peoples on over six million square miles of territory--to still manage to gain most of the world's sympathy when they complain about Jews returning to the only land in history that Jews have ever claimed possession to. And even that place has already been partitioned, shared, and so forth. Arab Jordan sits on almost 80% of the original April 25, 1920 Mandate of Palestine.
Unlike the above, what compromise has Arab nationalism ever made with the various non-Arab peoples suffering to this very day at the hands of Arab subjugators?
Have a chat with some native Copts from Egypt, Kurds in Syria and Iraq, "Berbers" (especially the Kabyle and Imazighen ) throughout North Africa, black Africans in the Sudan and elsewhere, native "kilab yahud" (Jew dogs), and so forth.
Scores of millions of Kurds, Copts, Imazighen, black Africans, native Jews, Assyrians, pre-Arab conquest Lebanese, and others daily still suffer the consequences of Arab imperialism--to the point where millions are not even allowed to practice their own native culture nor use their own native language. They are forced to use and accept those of their Arab conquerors instead…and are massacred when they protest.
I refer to a few revealing quotes which go a long way in explaining how things evolved as they did. As we've already seen, this includes the very language which the American State Department, President Obama, the Fox News reporter, and most of the rest of the world now routinely use. Please read them slowly and carefully.

In Algeria, Berbers were forbidden to use their own language, Tamazight...riots erupted, reported in France but ignored elsewhere in the West...America, of course, had been sufficiently subject to ARAMCO (the Arabian American Oil Company) propaganda, a payoff to the Saudis by Big Oil, to allow the latter to produce and market Arab oil. So, ARAMCO's message to America was that there is just an Arab world in this region in which there are no Copts, Armenians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Turkmen...and, of course, no Berbers and no Jews--they all came to Israel, you see, from Europe for everyone in this region is just Arab.
So, right from the get-go, there has been a collusion between Arabs and those who cowtow to their demands, for one reason or another (be it petro-business or otherwise), to make the Arab cause--and that of the Arabs' alone--to be the only "legitimate" one in the region.
Hence the "illegitimacy" of Judeans--Jews-- living in Judea, Jerusalem, Samaria, and so forth…
Thus, huge numbers of Syrian Arab settlers coming into the Mandate of Palestine from elsewhere, setting up Arab settlements in Palestine, are legitimate, but Jews coming into the Mandate from Syria are illegitimate occupiers. Etc. and so forth.
Okay. These are the realities today…So, what must Israel do about them? Not what it has been doing--for sure.
Israel must be unambiguous to the world that it will insist on its own fair share of relative, minimal justice.
The demand for a twenty-second state for Arabs--their second, not first, in "Palestine" (the name Rome bestowed upon Judea after the second revolt of the Jews for freedom--well documented by the Romans themselves--to rub salt into the wound; the new name was for the Jews' historic enemies, the non-Semitic "Sea People" invaders from the Greek isles around Crete, the Philistines)--must not be realized at the expense of the one sole, resurrected state of the Jews.
The reality is that there is no room in the land of the original 1920 Mandate of Palestine for a third state to be set up there. A confederation with the Arab state already sitting on the lions' share of the territory since 1922 (Jordan) makes more sense--that is, unless you’re the Hashemite Arab ruler transplanted from elsewhere running the show. Jews should not be expected to suffer because of it.
The barbaric slaughter of innocents in Itamar should have yielded an outcry of rage. It did not.
Instead, it has brought mostly more lectures from the Obama White House and State Department about Israel's need to cave in to all that Arabs demand.
This will not change--at least not for another two years.
It is thus time for Israel to act on its own and draw its own final borders according to the spirit and content of UNSC Resolution 242.
The world will be outraged. But remember, that this is the same world which has largely been slaughtering and demonizing Jews for millennia.
Arabs don't accept a 9-mile wide Israel. Waiting for them to accept anything bigger is absurd--especially given the stance of the Obama Administration. Previous American Presidents and other leaders (Johnson, Reagan, Shultz, etc.) are on record as stating that Israel would never return to the suicidal armistice lines of 1949. Obama insists that this must occur and trashes Israeli leaders and all others who differ.
While a compromise over the disputed territories is in order, no amount of concessions by Israel--short of suicide--will make it more acceptable to Arabs who, by their own words, have been engaged in a destruction-in-stages game plan since the '67 War.
When Israel takes itself more seriously, others may start to do likewise. If they don't, it will still be better off.
Israel must then treat the next atrocity as an act of war and hold the Arab leaderships' feet to the fire. Merely playing tit for tat does not work well …

There are two ways to go about getting our oil: befriend the country, or conquer the country. Right now, the country is being conquered in a friendly manner - friendly, that is, to the treasonous and sold-out left, while deadly to nationalist Jews. New data suggests Israel may not only have much larger gas resources than believed, but also the 3rd largest deposit of oil shale in the world.
Libyan oil accounts for less than 2 percent of world oil production, yet the revolt against Muammar Gaddafi has managed to shoot up the price of oil to more than $100 per barrel in the last month.
No one knows how long the internal instability in the Middle East will last, but according to the US Department of Energy, its share of the world’s total oil supply is expected to actually increase in the years ahead.
Simply, the world is using up the reserves of non- Middle East oil more quickly. Moreover, of the trillion barrels of proven reserves still left, according to the CIA roughly 800 billion barrels are to be found in the Middle East and North Africa, especially in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq.
The implications for Israel of the West’s growing dependence on Middle Eastern oil are troubling, for obvious reasons. Yet there are two new developments in our energy sector that could well offset these trends and eventually alter our standing in the world, especially with respect to Europe.
First, the gas discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean, which began to produce commercial quantities of natural gas in 2004, are generally well-known. The Tamar field, which should begin production in 2013, is expected to supply all of Israel’s domestic requirements for at least 20 years. The Economist suggested in November 2010 that the recently discovered Leviathan field, which has twice the gas of Tamar, could be completely devoted to exports.
All the undersea gas fields together have about 25 trillion cubic feet of gas, but the potential for further discoveries is considerably greater, given that the US Geological Survey estimates that there are 122 trillion cubic feet of gas in the whole Levant Basin, most of which is within Israel’s jurisdiction.
After the Leviathan discovery these numbers could go up further. Perhaps for that reason, Greece has been talking to Israel about creating a transportation hub for distributing gas throughout Europe from the Eastern Mediterranean that will come from undersea pipelines.
What is less well-known, but even more dramatic, is the work being done on this country’s oil shale. The British-based World Energy Council reported in November 2010 that Israel had oil shale from which it is possible to extract the equivalent of 4 billion barrels of oil. Yet these numbers are currently undergoing a major revision internationally.
A new assessment was released late last year by Dr. Yuval Bartov, chief geologist for Israel Energy Initiatives, at the yearly symposium of the prestigious Colorado School of Mines. He presented data that our oil shale reserves are actually the equivalent of 250 billion barrels (that compares with 260 billion barrels in the proven reserves of Saudi Arabia).
Independent oil industry analysts have been carefully looking at the shale, and have not refuted these findings. As a consequence of these new estimates, we may emerge as the third largest deposit of oil shale, after the US and China.
OIL SHALE mining used to be a dirty business that used up tremendous amounts of water and energy.
Yet new technologies, being developed for Israeli shale, seek to separate the oil from the shale rock 300 meters underground; these techniques actually produce water, rather than use it up.
The technology will be tested in a pilot project followed by a demonstration stage. It will be critical to demonstrate that the underground separation of oil from shale is environmentally sound before going to full-scale production. The present goal is to produce commercial quantities of shale oil by the end of the decade.
This particular project has global significance.
For if Israel develops a unique method for separating oil from shale deep underground, that has none of the negative ecological side-effects of earlier oil shale efforts, that technology can be made available to the whole world, changing the entire global oil market. The effect of the spread of this technology would be to shift the center of gravity of world oil away from Iran, Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf to more stable states that have no history of backing terrorism or radical Islamic causes. (In the Arab world, Jordan and Morocco have the most significant oil shale deposits.) WHEN WILL the West begin to treat Israel as a powerful energy giant and not as a weak client state that must be pressured? In the case of the Saudis, when the US realized the true extent of their oil reserves, after America’s reserves in Texas and Oklahoma were depleted by World War II, it sought to upgrade its military and diplomatic ties with the Saudi kingdom even before its production capacity was fully exploited. The US-Saudi connection grew as massive infrastructure investments for moving Saudi oil to Western markets were made, like the Trans-Arabian Pipeline (TAPLINE).
More capital was needed for the Saudi oil project. US companies, like Standard Oil of New Jersey (today, Exxon) and Standard Oil of New York (Mobil), joined Texaco and Standard Oil of California, the original holder of the Saudi oil concession, and created the ARAMCO consortium in the late 1940s. ARAMCO executives came to be regular guests at the State Department, where they could present the Saudi perspective.
In time, Saudi Arabia’s status grew as its future position in world oil came to be appreciated.
In the case of Israel, updated international reports verifying the true dimensions of both its undersea gas and oil shale should be forthcoming in the next year.
Many more international companies are likely to take an interest in its energy sector at that time. Moreover, the full exploitation of these energy resources will require massive infrastructure investment for pipelines, liquified natural gas plants and new oil exporting outlets in the Mediterranean and Red Sea.
Israel is uniquely situated by its geographical position and is able to direct its energy exports to either Europe or China and India. It may not have the capital to build this export capacity, but the involvement of foreign investors in these projects will give European and American banks new interests in developments.
Western policies will not change overnight. Nonetheless, Israel needs to tell the full story of its newly emerging role in the world energy sector if it wants to begin to alter the way it has been handled internationally.

They are countries caught up in the machinations of a monetary policy to debase the world’s reserve currency. All “he” wanted was some inflation, a little inflation to get America and the west out of the deflationary spiral caused by the failure of financial instruments (a.k.a. OTC Derivatives) and un-payable government debt – but he can’t get it. Everywhere it rages, but the place he wants it – home. So it erupts in global food prices and manifests itself in the attempts to bail out stone dead banks on the backs of the marginal economic player – post-destruction of the middle class. Most of the world has no savings to get through difficult times. Most of the world cannot “hedge” inflationary outcomes. Those outcomes appear quickly and change realities violently. The inflationary reality is their reality – the difference between starvation and survival. The result? Global upheaval, leading to where, we are not sure… but probably nowhere nice. Think American monetary policy was a uniquely sovereign, American affair? Think again. You are watching QE II live on television. American monetary policy and the global “race to debase” is that raging crowd you see on the television from Ireland to Greece and Egypt. It is that nascent force which Chinese leaders awake in terror, wondering what a billion plus people might do if faced with stark choices. If you can’t make the connection between the monetary policy and the political reality, you need to change the causal way you look at the world. Nations hold dollars in reserve to meet the demands of running an economy. When debasement takes place, the marginal economic player gets hit first. This is what we see now. But there is another, geo-political aspect many are missing. The western attempts to control multiple political outcomes and a global geo-political/military order rests on the ability to finance and control that order. When the money gets degraded, the ability to finance that order goes with it. Degradation of currency inhibits foreign force projection, both militarily and politically. Nobody in Egypt believes America is capable of controlling political outcomes, as they did from Suez to Mubarak. That era has passed. It passed with the Shah of Iran, and the death of the widely despised (in Egypt) Anwar Sadat. The Mubarak intermezzo is over. In the Arab world, what happens in Egypt doesn’t stay in Egypt. The potential for “regime change” in Saudi Arabia is growing. Now we find that the financial necessity for Dollar debasement wasn’t as politically benign as people in Washington thought. Instability rages across a region that could usher in an era of global conflict. People say, “be careful what you wish for” when you talk about the end of western hegemony, but while the political hegemony is dying by the hour, the monetary hegemony is currently intact and its results are evident. When those results swing full circle and return to the west, currency upheaval will be guaranteed. Global system breakdown, which made its debut in 2008 is now back for its main act. Money printing didn’t quite work out the way it was supposed to. This time, a rush to the security of Treasury instruments is unlikely to be the fallback position for global capital that now sees Fed monetary policy as a destructive boomerang cutting inflationary swathes across the planet… en route to its place of origin. Mubarak Succumbs to Pressure, Appoints First-Ever Vice President

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has succumbed to fears of a revolution and announced Saturday the appointment of intelligence chief Omar Suleiman as his first-ever vice president. He also dismissed his cabinet.
Suleiman has been a prominent figure in diplomatic ties with Israel and often has acted as a broker in talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and between the Fatah and Hamas factions.
Mubarak, who has ruled Egypt since 1981, also named his air force commander and aviation minister, Ahmed Shafik, as prime minister.
The addition of new faces to his regime is aimed at calming the new protest movement, which has been attacked by riot police using the same tactics that are a root cause of the opposition. Egypt has been listed by Amnesty International as one of the worst violators of human rights.
Mubarak said in a televised speech Friday that he would also introduce new political and economic reforms.
Until Mubarak’s dramatic political appointments Saturday, his son Gamal has been considered the prime candidate to succeed his father, who is reportedly suffering from cancer. Gamal Mubarak and his mother and daughter fled last Wednesday to London, according to an Arab news sources, as previously reported by Israel National News. Other sources, including Al Jazeera, confirmed the report on Saturday but then backed off.%ad%
The new positions of Suleiman and Shafik put two military men in top positions as Mubarak tries to avoid a repeat of the revolution in Tunisia, where the army helped overthrow the old regime.
“I think Mubarak is acting on the orders of the military establishment, who clearly value the country’s stability more than they do their president,” John R. Bradley, author of “Inside Egypt: The Land of the Pharaohs on the Brink of a Revolution,” told Bloomberg news service.
The military “will soon offer Mubarak a face-saving way- out, perhaps by announcing that he’s ill again and that Suleiman is to take over until new presidential elections take place,” he said.
In Israel, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has told Cabinet ministers not to comment on the crisis in Egypt, but Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, who left the Cabinet in the Labor party shake-up last week, said he thinks calm will return to Egypt.
The protest movement could directly affect Israel if Hamas supporters in Gaza take to the streets to protest against Mubarak, whose government has been increasingly critical of the terrorist organization’s sponsoring or allowing rocket and mortar attacks on Israel’s western Negev.
Egypt reportedly took most of its forces away from the sensitive Rafiah border, a center of smuggling of drugs and weapons into Gaza from the Sinai Peninsula. Part of the wall between Gaza and Egypt reportedly has been dismantled.

Gunmen of Hamas's armed wing, Ezz e-Din al Qassam, crossed from Gaza into northern Sinai Sunday, Jan. 30 to attack Egyptian forces and drive them back. They acted on orders from Hamas' parent organization, the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, confirmed by its bosses in Damascus, to open a second, Palestinian front against the Mubarak regime. The Muslim Brotherhood is therefore more active in the uprising than it would appear.
debkafile's military sources report that Hamas gunmen went straight into battle with Egyptian Interior Ministry Special Forces (CFF) in the southern Egyptian-controlled section of the border town of Rafah and the Sinai port of El Arish. Saturday, Bedouin tribesmen and local Palestinians used the mayhem in Cairo to clash with Egyptian forces at both northern Sinai key points and ransack their gun stores.
Sunday, Hamas terrorists aim to follow this up by pushing Egyptian forces out of the northern and central regions of the peninsula and so bring Egypt's border with the Gaza Strip under Palestinian control. Hamas would then be able to break out of the Egyptian blockade of the enclave and restore its smuggling routes in full. Officials in Gaza City confirmed Sunday, that Hamas's most notorious smuggling experts, including Muhammad Shaar, had broken out of the El Arish jail and were headed for Gaza City.
Our military sources further report that the Multinational Force & Observers (MFO), most of whose members are Americans and Canadians, are on maximum alert at their northern Sinai base, while they wait for US military transports to evacuate them to US bases in Europe.
This force was deployed in Sinai in 1981 for peacekeeping responsibilities and the supervision of the security provisions of the 1979 Peace Treaty between Egypt and Israel under which the peninsula was demilitarized except for Egyptian police. Ending the MFO's mission in Sinai after thirty years knocks down a key pillar propping up the relations of peace between Egypt and Israel.
Early Sunday, the Egyptian army quietly began transferring armored reinforcements including tanks through the tunnels under the Suez from Egypt proper eastward to northern Sinai in effort to drive the Hamas forces back. The Egyptian troop presence in Sinai, which violates the terms of the peace treaty, has not been mentioned by either of the peace partners. Our Jerusalem sources report the Netanyahu government may have tacitly approved it.
Hamas' Gaza leaders do not seem to fear Israeli military action – or even an air attack - to interfere with their incursion of Sinai, although it brings their armed units within easy reach of the long Egyptian border with Israel.

Every Intelligence Agency of consequence knew that Hamas is a composition of radical Palestinian Islamists but, Hamas also has a mix of Iranian and Syrian operatives deep in the bowels of Gaza.
The Intel Agencies of Egypt, Israel and all the others know that the Terrorists have set up operations in the Sinai which Israel had surrendered as a major land barrier for a 30 year cold peace with Egypt.
Now the Terrorists out of Gaza have used the rioting in Egypt against President Hosni Mubarak to establish Terror bases in the Sinai Desert from which to launch cross-border attacks against Israel.
These bases would, no doubt, also be the refuge offered to those thousands of prisoners whom the Muslim Brotherhood helped to escape from Cairo prisons to find safety with safe houses, arms, funds, plans, communications, maps, etc. in the Sinai. Many of the escapees are leaders and organizers of Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda and Hamas. From the Sinai they can launch Terror attacks into Gaza, Eilat, further into Israel, even spreading out into countries along and across the Mediterranean Sea – such as Jordan, Lebanon, Italy….
No doubt, Israel will once again be forced to strike back in self-defense, both in Sinai and the rest of Israel. Of course, the world will howl in protest against Israel.
Don’t be surprised to see the Terrorists among the Muslim Palestinians try to take over Jordan which has a 70-80% population of Palestinian Muslims in order to open up a War front with Israel.

Elad Pressman, editor of a major Israeli political website, was my guest on my radio show and did he have news! The Daily Telegraph had dug into Wikileaks documents and pieced together a report that convincingly proves the US was behind the violent Egyptian protests.
The American Embassy in Cairo helped a young dissident attend a US-sponsored summit for activists in New York, while working to keep his identity secret from Egyptian state police.
On his return to Cairo in December 2008, the activist told US diplomats that an alliance of opposition groups had drawn up a plan to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak and install a democratic government in 2011. He has already been arrested by Egyptian security in connection with the demonstrations and his identity is being protected by The Daily Telegraph.
The disclosures, contained in previously secret US diplomatic dispatches released by the WikiLeaks website, show American officials pressed the Egyptian government to release other dissidents who had been detained by the police.
At least five people were killed in Cairo alone yesterday and 870 injured, several with bullet wounds. Mohamed ElBaradei, the pro-reform leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner, was placed under house arrest after returning to Egypt to join the dissidents. Riots also took place in Suez, Alexandria and other major cities across the country.
The US government has previously been a supporter of Mr Mubarak’s regime. But the leaked documents show the extent to which America was offering support to pro-democracy activists in Egypt while publicly praising Mr Mubarak as an important ally in the Middle East. In a secret diplomatic dispatch, sent on December 30 2008, Margaret Scobey, the US Ambassador to Cairo, recorded that opposition groups had allegedly drawn up secret plans for “regime change” to take place before elections, scheduled for September this year.
The memo, which Ambassador Scobey sent to the US Secretary of State in Washington DC, was marked “confidential” and headed: “April 6 activist on his US visit and regime change in Egypt.”
It said the activist claimed “several opposition forces” had “agreed to support an unwritten plan for a transition to a parliamentary democracy, involving a weakened presidency and an empowered prime minister and parliament, before the scheduled 2011 presidential elections”. The embassy’s source said the plan was “so sensitive it cannot be written down”.
Ambassador Scobey questioned whether such an “unrealistic” plot could work, or ever even existed. However, the documents showed that the activist had been approached by US diplomats and received extensive support for his pro-democracy campaign from officials in Washington. The embassy helped the campaigner attend a “summit” for youth activists in New York, which was organized by the US State Department.
Cairo embassy officials warned Washington that the activist’s identity must be kept secret because he could face “retribution” when he returned to Egypt. He had already allegedly been tortured for three days by Egyptian state security after he was arrested for taking part in a protest some years earlier.
The protests in Egypt are being driven by the April 6 youth movement, a group on Facebook that has attracted mainly young and educated members opposed to Mr Mubarak. The group has about 70,000 members and uses social networking sites to orchestrate protests and report on their activities. The documents released by WikiLeaks reveal US Embassy officials were in regular contact with the activist throughout 2008 and 2009, considering him one of their most reliable sources for information about human rights abuses.
Elad strongly suggested that I investigate who was behind Mohammed ElBaradei. Look what I discovered! Just a few months ago, Mohammed ElBaradei was paraded on the front cover of the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR) rag, Foreign Affairs, with a headline asking if he could be Egypt's savior. What uncanny foresight, for on the second day of Egyptian protests he showed up in Cairo and was named as the negotiator of The Muslim Brotherhood. So where did he come from? It turns out from the board of an NGO run by CFR muckrakers George Soros and Zbigniew Brzezinski.
Against the regime, the opposition groups - of which there are at least ten - are just as hamstrung by their failure to produce a leader able to stand up and challenge the president. For lack of any representative figure, they picked the retired nuclear watchdog director Dr. Mohamed ElBaradi to speak for them in negotiations over the transfer of power. Hardly anyone in Egypt knows him: He is better known outside the country having spent many years abroad. Yet, at the same time, ElBaradei sits on the board of a Soros/Brzezinski foundation.
Go to the George Soros/Zbigniew Brzezinski Crisis Groups Website and you will see that the Egyptian clashes have hit surprisingly close to home for them. That's because none other than their own Mohamed ElBaradei, sitting on their board of trustees, is the self-proclaimed leader of the unrest unfolding across the streets of Cairo. The International Crisis Group's recent condemnation of ElBaradei's detention and admission of his membership amongst "the Group" is accompanied by calls for the government to stop using violence against the protesters.

U.S. President Barack Obama met with members of Egypt's Islamist opposition movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, earlier this year, according to a report in Thursday editions of the Egyptian daily newspaper Almasry Alyoum. The newspaper reported that Obama met the group's members, who reside in the U.S. and Europe, in Washington two months ago.
As for Israel, which should be terrified of a potential Muslim Brotherhood government, who else is pushing for one but President Shimon "Mad Dog" Peres? Mubarak appointed Peres' buddy Omar Suleiman (search for pics of the two all over the internet) as his Vice-President, meaning upcoming interim President when Hosni climbs down from the post. Israel's issues are the same as Egypt's but are hidden behind a charade of democracy. This year's figures reveal that 25% of all Israelis, including over 850,000 children, live beneath the poverty line. The middle class has all but disappeared at 15%, leaving a vast number of poor and unemployed to be ruled by a tiny group of immensely wealthy oligarchs. If you thought
Cairo had a big turnout for its protests, Israel with 1/5 of Cairo's population, drew over 200,000 to protest the Oslo "peace" and the evacuation of Gaza's Jews...to no avail. The government had flipped the organizers with names like Wallerstein and Leiberman and the protests were harmless steam blowing.
It's time Israel joined the Middle East. Get those 200,000 back, led by homeless Gazan Jews and joined by all who live in daily fear of the Shabak (Secret Service), the police, the courts and get them to the President's House to physically oust Shimon Peres from his office.

Am Yisrael wants the Temple rebuilt!
A survey conducted by the Panels Insitute revealed that 64 % of the Israeli public , and half of secular Israelis, want the Temple rebuilt. 97% of respondents know that the Temple was destroyed on Tisha B'Av ( Ninth of Av).
The survey's second question queried the public’s desire to rebuild the Temple. Sixty-four percent responded favorably and 36 percent said no. Analysis of the answers revealed that not only hareidi-religious and other religious Jews want to rebuild the Temple, (100 percent and 97 percent respectively), but also the traditional public (91 percent) and many secular Jews (47 percent) do as well.
