What do you think: any truth to this report? That would explain Bibi's despicable behavior re: Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, hilltop youth, etc.; so where is his allegiance, really??

IMPORTANT REMINDER AND QUESTION:

ANYBODY REMEMBERS THE SAUDI PEACE PLAN, THAT WAS OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS: WHAT WERE ITS CONTENTS, ANYBODY REMEMBERS? COULD IT BE THAT IT WAS NEVER SHELVED, SIMPLY SECRETLY PUT IN THE BACK BURNER AND RECENTLY REACTIVATED WHEN CONDITIONS WERE FAVORABLE, I.E. TRUMP???

Israel Deployed 18 Fighter Jets To Saudi Arabia To "Prevent A Coup": Fars

FacebookReddit
While according to the official narrative, the Saudi power transition on Wednesday, when King Salman bin Abdulaziz announced his decision to replace Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz with his own son, Mohammed bin Salman, went smooth and by the numbers, what took place behind the scenes is more interesting.
Here, events were decidedly more interesting, because as Fars News reports (so take it with a grain of salt), after the decision was announced, the Israeli air force sent 18 of its fighter jets, including F16-I, F15-CD and F16-CD, along with two Gulfstream aircraft, two tanker airplanes and two C130 planes, special for electronic warfare, to Saudi Arabia at the demand of the new crown prince bin Salman to block his cousin (bin Nayef)'s possible measures.
On the surface, such close ties between the existing Saudi regime and Israel would appear a stretch, although it is far more plausible after this week's WSJ report that when it comes to the Saudi proxy war, Israel and Saudi Arabia had been alligned from the onset of the Syrian conflict, with Israel secretly supplying Syrian rebels near its border with cash as well as food, fuel and medical supplies for years, "a secret engagement in the enemy country’s civil war aimed at carving out a buffer zone populated by friendly forces."
If true, the Fars report would be rather striking because, in addition to other geopolitical implications, Israel and Saudi Arabia do not have formal diplomatic relations.
According to the Times of Israel, "a spokesperson for the IDF said the army does not comment on foreign media reports. An Israeli military insider ridiculed the report as absurd."
As a reminder, just days ago, the Saudi king stripped Nayef - who was against Saudi involvement in the Yemen civil war - of his powers overseeing criminal investigations and designated a new public prosecution office to function directly under the king’s authority. In a similar move back in 2015, the Saudi king had appointed his nephew, then deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Nayef as the heir to the throne after removing his own half-brother Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud from the position. His replacement as the new Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, 31, was also named deputy prime minister, and shall maintain his post as defense minister. He has been described as the real power behind his father’s throne.
The power struggle inside the House of Saud came to light earlier this year when the Saudi king began to overhaul the government and offered positions of influence to a number of family members. In two royal decrees in April, the Saudi king named two of his other sons, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Prince Khaled bin Salman, as state minister for energy affairs and ambassador to the United States, respectively.
None of this is new, but where Fars provides new details is that in late April, Mohammad bin Salman "literally bribed the new US administration by paying $56m to Donald Trump." There is no official confirmation of this allegation.  Fars further adds that "bin Salman was paying off the US to buy its support for finding a grip over the crown."
"Since Uncle Sam's satisfaction is the first step for the Saudi princes to get on the crown, paying off Washington seems to be a taken-for-granted fact," Rami Khalil, a reporter of Naba' news website affiliated to the Saudi dissidents wrote.

He added that since the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) is like a sword over the head of the al-Saud, they have no way out but to bribe the US, noting that the Yemen quagmire is also another reason for Riyadh to seek Washington's support.

Also, a prominent Yemeni analyst said earlier this month that the US has been paid several trillion dollars by Saudi Arabia to protect its crown, adding that Riyadh has recently bribed Washington's support for the Yemen war with $200bln.
"Washington has asked for more money to defend the Saudi regime and Riyadh has recently paid $200bln to the US for the costs of its support for the war in Yemen," Saleh al-Qarshi told Fars News Agency. "This is apart from the huge amounts of money that Saudi Arabia pays to the US treasury for protecting its crown," he added. According to al-Qarshi, "former Saudi Intelligence Chief Turki al-Feisal revealed last year that his country has bought US treasury bonds to help the US economy."
Meanwhile, as defense minister, Mohammed bin Salman has faced strong international criticism for the bloody military campaign he launched against neighboring Yemen in 2015 amid his rivalry with bin Nayef, the then powerful interior minister. Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen since March 2015 to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led war has so far killed at least 14,000 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
* * *
It was not immediately clear if, assuming the Fars report is accurate, Israeli forces are still located in Saudi Arabia, or if the fears of a coup have since dissipated.
Separately, the Times of Israel reports that in a recent television interview aired in May on Saudi TV, bin Salman delivered a strong warning to Iran and ruled out any dialogue with officials there. Framing the tensions with Iran in sectarian terms, he said it is Iran’s goal “to control the Islamic world” and to spread its Shiite doctrine.
“We know we are a main target of Iran,” the prince said, warning that he “will work so that it becomes a battle for them in Iran and not in Saudi Arabia.”

For its part, Iran’s state TV, when it isn’t claiming that bin Salman is propped up by Israel or the US, described the appointment of bin Salman this week as a “soft coup in Saudi Arabia.”
Credibility of the Fars report aside, as Petromatrix' Olivier Jakob reported yesterday, the shocking Saudi shakeup means it is "Not A Question Of If But When New Escalation With Iran Starts."
Finally keep in mind that with Saudi Arabia desperate to raise the price of oil, and with every other measure failing, there is always one dependable fall back when all else fails: war.

On the other hand, here is another Zerohedge article which provides a different perspective on the Saudi story; you can't say they don't have a point when it comes to Saudi Arabia and terror!

Wow, that was beautiful! There is hope for Trump after all.... Or should I call this post, "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, Part III"?

Trump's heart has been touched, you can clearly feel it: he finally "gets it"! When he says God, he means God. May Hashem give him inspiration to do what is right. Amen

I refer you to this post which is very enlightening as to what might have happened to him during his visit to the Kotel. He wasn't speaking like this when he first arrived! Remember the encounter with Bennett at the airport, how he sneered when Bennett asked him to transfer the American Embassy to Jerusalem: "That's a good one...". And now this. Amazing! Hashem has His ways...

http://www.emunaroma.com/blog/trump-yesod-she-be-yesod-and-some-strange-coincidences

How Donald Trump's heart changed on the day of Malchut she be Yesod, the 42nd day of the Omer that the Vilna Gaon says is so important for prayer for the coming of Mashiach... Wow....!

https://havahaaharona.blogspot.co.il/2017/05/pray-for-complete-redemption-tomorrow.html

It seems that this is happening in the Zechut of all the prayers of Am Yisrael.

Now we only need for Bibi's heart to open too; but that's asking a bit much, isn't it - he was too busy "oogling" Melania repeatedly while standing at the podium. What to do; that is what happens when you don't deal with your Yesod: you miss out on the Geulah!

DS

PS: I refer you to this post:

http://israeltruthtimes.blogspot.co.il/2017/05/if-i-forget-thee-o-jerusalem.html

Things looked pretty iffy before he arrived; they look better now, Baruch Hashem. He might still be able to defeat his innumerable domestic enemies.

... And here is more: he is quite a person, you have to admit!

By the way his vision is not OUR vision. This is not what I consider beautiful, still overall he is quite a president. But may Hashem preserve us from his misguided ideas about Eretz Yisrael! Eretz Yisrael le Am Yisrael, and ONLY le Am Yisrael. Israel only belongs to the JEWISH People,  NOT to imposters and wannabe's. And that includes Jerusalem.

Happy 50th anniversary of the return of Zion, Yerushalayim, to Am Yisrael!

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem.... Part II

So here are Jerome Corsi's mysterious tactics to defeat nefarious propaganda against us. It could be used to counteract negative propaganda against Israel, against Jews of Yehuda and Shomron, to defeat the insidious penetration of Xtian propaganda in Israel, etc. This is the bottom line: change the topic, make it illegal to continue discussing what hurts us. Aren't these Shabak tactics? After all they stem from counter-intelligence,  so it would make sense that the Shabak would use them too, all the time. Now we know their secret and we can respond in kind!

Remember what happened after the discovery of the torture of Meir Ettinger and his friends: first of all the police declared a gag order, and then they kept focusing on the Dura fire, even though there was absolutely no evidence tying the kids to the arson. So they diverted the attention from the topic of horrible torture they were perpetrating on Jewish kids, while making it illegal to reveal any details of the affair; all of a sudden the Shabak was out of trouble, out of sight, out of mind!

Same thing with the death of the Australian young man who died in their custody, I forgot his name. There are countless other examples. But the fact is, it works, at least for the uninitiated: people bought it hook, line and sinker! Devious as they come.

The truth is, with proper planning, we could definitely learn from these reshaim and give them back exactly what they are giving us. It is permitted to give back to Reshaim measure for measure.

But of course we would have to think very carefully how to apply this tactic to our needs.

Thank you, Jerome Corsi and Alex Jones: good thinking, but so devious!

Do we want to act like Reshaim, though, or do we prefer to maintain the high road, trusting in Hashem, knowing he will right wrongs in due time? Is this a war, do we have the obligation to fight it, or should we simply be passive and wait for God to take care of the situation?

Food for thought.

Shabbat Shalom

UPDATE

... But look at this article mentioning tactics associated with Trump:

http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index2303.htm

I am not sure if you can trust the website, however the ideas mentioned in the article are sure  interesting. Many people have read the Art of War - I am not one of them; you might be, and in that case you are not learning anything new here. Whichever way it is, though, I find it interesting that tactics,  strategies are mentioned in one breath with Donald Trump. So I wonder if you can believe anything that is said in his regard, including regarding his upcoming trip to Israel; who knows what he is planning to do: if his way is always to deceive and surprise people for maximum effectiveness, then who knows, maybe his plans are positive but his utterings disturbing.... I don't know; all I can say for sure is: if he helps Israel he himself will be helped, and if he hurts Israel he himself will be hurt.

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem.....! Some good ideas coming, below

Writing to you from the Holy Land of Israel, from the mountains of Judea....

Nothing can resist the power of the soul, the power of pure Jewish music. Even this communist, Jesuit pope's soul has been stirred by it: look at him swaying! This music, the roots of which go back to the chants of the Levites in the Holy Temple of Jerusalem, the Temple built by King Solomon - whose father King David composed the words of the psalm above - , is a testament to the deep connection of the Jewish People to the Temple  and the Western Wall, the Kotel . And now here comes one foolish Trump who, to be politically correct, thinks he can change what God Himself has decreed? So Jerusalem does not belong to the Jewish People? The Western Wall is not the remnant  wall of the Temple Mount? It is not the site that Jews the world over have been praying towards for the last 2000 years?? Foolish, foolish man who thinks he can make the rules! He does not make the rules, God does! This foolish man will bury himself and America along with him if he does not, immediately, recognize that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish People, and when he comes to the Western Wall, humbly accepts as his hosts whomever the owners of Jerusalem, the Jews,  choose. He can still change his mind and save himself and his country, or he can bury himself and his country as well.

Incidentally, it doesn't mean that I agree with these rabbis going serenading this major enemy ( by definition, the Vatican IS our enemy!) of the Jewish People and groveling at his feet, asking for favors. I think they made a serious mistake and serve the cause of interfaith, G-d forbid ; none of them will dare look us in the eyes after this ( although upon listening carefully I hear one man mockingly asking Rabbi Gluck if he asked the pope about the artifacts, I think Rabbi Gluck answers yes, and another man bursts out laughing; so they are not there only to grovel after all - good move and Kol Hakavod!!). Still, this video can serve as a powerful demonstration of our eternal attachment to Har Habayit, the Kotel, Tehillim, the Psalms written by our king David, and of course to Hashem, our One and only God; it can be used as a tool to show the goyim who we are, what we are, where we come from and where we are going, and that's Jerusalem! And we, the Jews privileged to live in the Holy Land of Israel, are staying right home, and that's Jerusalem, that's Har Habayit, that's the Kotel, that's all of Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates. And nobody will take us away from here, ever, unless Hashem so decrees.

PS:  Maybe the video below could be useful in our PR predicament regarding Jerusalem; this man, Jerome Corsi, seems knowledgeable, and he can give us good advice regarding our PR battle for Jerusalem; there is a follow-up video coming tomorrow too: let's follow his model, and use our collective brains to see how we can change the narrative about Jerusalem and Israel!

At the same time, this video is proof that if Trump causes damage to Israel, he himself will be done with: the more he hurts us, whether wittingly or unwittingly, the more he himself will be hurt! So the key to his success is doing Hashem's work here in Eretz Yisrael, and not bowing to our enemies' demands.

"It is literally going to take a miracle for Trump to survive the next couple of years."

That's right: Trump needs a miracle: his election was a miracle, and only by miracle will he remain in power. And you don't attract miracles by going against G-d will!

http://www.silverdoctors.com/headlines/world-news/the-dow-plunges-372-points-as-trump-impeachment-talk-reaches-a-fever-pitch-on-capitol-hill

And one more thing: see what the Rizhiner Rebbe Z"L had predicted about the meeting of these misguided rabbis with the pope in Rome:

"  "In the period heralding the Moshiach there will be an exceedingly great thirst for spirituality. So much so that some Jews [in their confusion Ed.] will travel to the pope in Rome to receive his guidance. This will cause a great storming in Heaven, which will result in the fall of many world leaders and kings.…"

Compliments of Shirat Devorah:

http://shiratdevorah.blogspot.co.il/2017/05/confusion-before-moshiach.html

Quite an amazing prediction! If the Rebbe is right, this will lead to the fall of either Trump - if he persists in his current views -, or of his numerous enemies - if he relents -: the Deep State, Clinton, Podesta, the international pedophile rings permeating the circles of power ( the center of which, incidentally, is right here in Jerusalem, on Har Zion! More info about this some other time); G-d willing the end of all  New World Order types and minions.

Interesting and powerful times we live in.

Shabbat Shalom,

DS

Are you prepared? 10/10/10 - Gold futures up $10.10. I had warned you about this date, chosen for 'end-times' by Benedikt: an earth-shattering event - the crumbling of the dollar - orchestrated by J.P.Morgan and Goldman Sachs, Rome's favorite bankers... but that's not all! Proof of Rome's guilt, below.

And by the way,  last week's European "terror threat", as mentioned in the U.S. press, was nothing people heard of in Europe! A very convenient smokescreen to divert people's attention from the REAL news: the orchestrated,  "controlled demolition" of the U.S. dollar; and the Vatican Synod with its "Israel-demolishing" consequences.

Gold Price Bull Roars as Fed Signals Fresh QE

gold price rally
GOLD PRICE NEWS – The gold price renewed its advance Sunday night, vaulting to $1,355 per ounce and within 1% of its all-time high posted last week.  COMEX gold futures rallied $10.10 in the overnight session as investors continued to place bets on higher gold prices.  Commodity prices appear set to extend their gains after touching a two-year high last Friday, as measured by the Reuters-Jefferies CRB index.  The weak U.S. dollar has fueled the rise in the gold price as well as stocks and commodities – driven by speculation that the U.S. Federal Reserve is on the verge of launching a new, aggressive quantitative easing campaign.
The world’s largest bond fund manager is suggesting that Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke do more of what he does best – print money.  Bill Gross of PIMCO, in a “Bloomberg Surveillance” radio interview said that the September nonfarm payrolls report “is simply a signal, a strong, strong signal for Fed QE2.”  He estimated that the Fed’s next asset purchase program will be comprised of $100 billion in government debt, to be announced at the next FOMC meeting in early November.
In terms of the implications of quantitative easing, Gross noted that “Both Japan and the U.S. and of course the U.K. to come, are engaged in this second and third rounds of quantitative easing.  Now it’s a question of who is printing the most.  The yen strengthened today under the assumption that the U.S. will print more than Japan on a relative basis.”  Dollar-denominated gold prices have soared 16.5% over the past six months, while the price of gold has gained a mere 2.3% when measured against the Japanese yen.
Gross went on to discuss QE2 in light of the Federal Reserve’s efforts to target inflation, which it currently views as too low.  He pointed to recent comments from New York Fed President William Dudley, who “spoke to 2% in terms of inflation target and he meant that the under level of inflation that we’ve been attaining for the past 12 to 18 months would have to be made up.  In other words, he would be willing to accept more than 2% inflation for a 12- to 18- to 24- month period of time in order to get back to that target.”
As for the appropriate investment strategy in such an environment, Gross stated that “If and when we do that, then that’s a very favorable type of proposal for risk assets that wheel off inflation — in other words stocks.”  As for U.S. Treasuries, Gross said that at the long end of the curve, “30 years are reflecting the potential impact of inflationary policies from QE2 and they are widening out.”  While Gross did not discuss investments tied to the gold price, it is clear that further money printing by “Helicopter Ben” presents a favorable macro-economic backdrop for gold as an investment class.

'This is the biggest fraud in the history of the capital markets'

newjanpic.jpgJanet Tavakoli is the founder and president of Tavakoli Structured Finance Inc. She sounded some of the earliest warnings on the structured finance market, leading the University of Chicago to profile her as a "Structured Success," and Business Week to call her "The Cassandra of Credit Derivatives." We spoke this afternoon about the turmoil in the housing market, and an edited transcript of our conversation follows.
Ezra Klein: What’s happening here? Why are we suddenly faced with a crisis that wasn’t apparent two weeks ago?
Janet Tavakoli: This is the biggest fraud in the history of the capital markets. And it’s not something that happened last week. It happened when these loans were originated, in some cases years ago. Loans have representations and warranties that have to be met. In the past, you had a certain period of time, 60 to 90 days, where you sort through these loans and, if they’re bad, you kick them back. If the documentation wasn’t correct, you’d kick it back. If you found the incomes of the buyers had been overstated, or the houses had been appraised at twice their worth, you’d kick it back. But that didn’t happen here. And it turned out there were loan files that were missing required documentation. Part of putting the deal together is that the securitization professional, and in this case that’s banks like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, has to watch for this stuff. It’s called perfecting the security interest, and it’s not optional.
EK: And how much danger are the banks themselves in?
JT: When we had the financial crisis, the first thing the banks did was run to Congress and ask for accounting relief. They asked to be able to avoid pricing this stuff at the price where people would buy them. So no one can tell you the size of the hole in these balance sheets. We’ve thrown a lot of money at it. TARP was just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve given them guarantees on debts, low-cost funding from the Fed. But a lot of these mortgages just cannot be saved. Had we acknowledged this problem in 2005, we could’ve cleaned it up for a few hundred billion dollars. But we didn’t. Banks were lying and committing fraud, and our regulators were covering them and so a bad problem has become a hellacious one.
EK: My understanding is that this now pits the banks against the investors they sold these products too. The investors are going to court to argue that the products were flawed and the banks need to take them back.
JT: Many investors now are waking up to the fact that they were defrauded. Even sophisticated investors. If you did your due diligence but material information was withheld, you can recover. It’ll be a case-by-by-case basis.
EK: Given that our financial system is still fragile, isn’t that a disaster for the economy? Will credit freeze again?
JT: I disagree. In order to make the financial system healthy, we need to recognize the extent of our losses and begin facing the fraud. Then the market will be trustworthy again and people will start to participate.
EK: It sounds almost like you’re saying we still need to go through the end of our financial crisis.
JT: Yes, but I wouldn’t say crisis. This can be done with a resolution trust corporation, the way we cleaned up the S&Ls. The system got back on its feet faster because we grappled with the problems. The shareholders would be wiped out and the debt holders would have to take a discount on their debt and they’d get a debt-for-equity swap. Instead we poured TARP money into a pit and meanwhile the banks are paying huge bonuses to some people who should be made accountable for fraud. The financial crisis was a product of our irrational reaction, which protected crony capitalism rather than capitalism. In capitalism, the shareholders who took the risk would be wiped out and the debt holders would take a discount but banking would go on.

UPDATE:

I was going to discuss the developments at the Vatican on 10/10/10, but Barry Chamish beat me to it ( in all fairness I am the one who informed him about the upcoming Synod; he elaborated on it and wrote the article below, " Barcelona here we come"). Thanks, Barry. We will be discussing this tomorrow on your show, won't we?

-Here is the link to the show, quite a lively and interesting discussion! -

http://wwfar.com/mp3s/BarryChamish
It is crystal clear, from the Synod's extensive preparations in June already, right around the time of the flotilla events - see related posts - , that the 10/10/10 developments around the world have been directly orchestrated by Rome. They bode ominously for Israel, as we are the most direct target of Rome's venom; the implosion of the dollar and the planned destruction of Israel go hand in hand, at least in the murderous schemes of Benedikt. Which is of course not to say that he will succeed in his destructive plans against us: our prophets have repeatedly warned us otherwise.

It is also interesting to note that these events are occurring as we read about the Tower of Babel on Shabbat Parshat Noach, the day before 10/10/10. Hashem HATES the New World Order, the One World government, which is nothing but a repeat of the Tower of Babel. If He could defeat the evildoers' plots then, I am quite convinced He can defeat their evil plots once again today.

In the same vein, notice this other important piece of news:

  • Palestinians celebrate Jericho's 10,000th anniversary
JERICHO, Palestinian Territories — The Palestinians on Sunday marked the 10,000th anniversary of the founding of Jericho, an oasis town in the West Bank that may be the world's oldest city.
The festivities included a special cabinet meeting chaired by prime minister Salam Fayyad that was to be followed by a 4.5 kilometre (2.8 mile) foot race, a military band and fireworks.
"This occasion is not only a celebration, but is part of a national project to complete the building and preparation of the Palestinian state," Fayyad said at the opening of the ceremony.
Residents had complained ahead of the fete that the low-key celebrations would not do justice to the occasion, which has been planned since 2007.
And local officials said many important infrastructure projects that were supposed to have been completed by the anniversary were stalled by Israeli restrictions and lack of international funding.
The date chosen for the anniversary -- 10/10/2010 -- was mostly symbolic.
The oasis town near the Dead Sea is one of the oldest cities in the world, with evidence of settlement dating back to 9000 BC and urban fortifications dating back to 7000 BC, predating Egypt's pyramids by 4,000 years.
Jericho is the second most popular Palestinian tourist destination after Bethlehem and has seen a surge of visitors in recent years as security in the West Bank has improved following the devastating 2000 Palestinian uprising.
http://www.bibleplaces.com/jericho.htm
(I am aware this is a Christian site, but it showcases Jericho's Biblical narrative very nicely)

This story is a clear attempt at eradication of Jewish history from Jericho, with a manufactured 10,000th birthday on 10/10/10. Notice again the decimal number. This anniversary is a pure figment of some sick ( Roman, I bet) anti-Israel imagination, yet widely promoted by non-Jewish media, by traitorous Haaretz, - the U.S. not to be outdone, actively promoting this fraud - ; the chorus joined by the Jerusalem Post, this media wing of Rome, which is also promoting the Vatican Synod below with anti-Torah gusto ( any wonder? The JP is a mouthpiece for Rome, in case you haven't noticed, ever since it was acquired by its new owners under spurious circumstances; details in another post of mine). Rome and their Muslim allies are vying for attention as to who can faster eliminate any and all traces of the Biblical narrative from the Land of the Bible, the Land of Israel, the land of the People of Israel. We need to remind the world constantly of whom Eretz Yisrael belongs to, and it is no secret:

ERETZ YISRAEL LE'AM YISRAEL!

THE LAND OF ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL!

If you have any doubt, check the deed: it is recorded in the Bible.

                                     BARCELONA HERE WE COME
                                                                              by Barry Chamish

The buildup to the Barcelona Conference of the Mediterranean Union, which has promised to bring everlasting peace to the Middle East its way, is a synod taking place right now in the Vatican. First, let's look at how the Jewish ignoramuses view the event in their signature news outlet. I refuse to quote the piece. It hurts too much:

http://www.jpost.com/International/Article.aspx?id=190485

Now let's look at a far more complex report:

The Synod Begins

The Catholic Church's special "Synod on the Middle East" opened today in Rome with a Mass in St. Peter's Basilica. The purpose is mainly pastoral: to consider how the Church can better live her mission in that region of the world. But the problematic political tensions in the region are also a concern...
"Salvation is universal, but it passes through a specific historical mediation: the mediation of the people of Israel, which goes on to become that of Jesus Christ and the Church." Pope Benedict XVI, Homily, Opening Mass of the Synod on the Middle East, St. Peter's Basilica, Sunday, October 10, 2010
And, the Pope continued, the way is not simply to be understood as the possession of an earthly territory, an earthly homeland, an earthly "Promised Land."
This 'land' is not of this world; the whole of the divine plan goes beyond history, but the Lord wants to build it with men, for men and in men, beginning with the coordinates of space and time in which they live and which He Himself gave them."
This, in a sense, is the central message of this Synod, already stated beforehand by the Pope in this opening homily.
The message is that the "Promised Land" of freedom and peace to which God wishes to lead "His" people is, yes, "not of this world," for, as the Pope says, "the whole of the divine plan goes beyond history."
And yet, at the same time, "the Lord wishes to build it [the Promised Land] with men, for men and in men, beginning with the coordinates of space and time in which they live and which He Himself gave them."

In short, and this did not take great analytic powers, the Pope has announced that Israel doesn't exist. It's just a question of time and "mediation" until Israel realizes this. Then those pesky Jews will covert to "Jesus Christ and the Church." Unless I misread his Mass, the pope actually said that, though claiming he was referring not to Jews but to salvation.
A major planner of this synod has been at the head of the destroy-Israel movement for two decades, David Jaeger. While Oslo was being negotiated in 1994, another part of the "peace" agreement was also being negotiated; The Vatican-Israel Treaty. In fact, Oslo and Vatican were being negotiated together and for the same destructive purposes. The Israeli negotiators of the Vatican deal were Shimon Peres and Yossi Beilin. The Vatican's chief negotiator was Father David Jaeger:

Temple Mount yes, Mount Sinai no
Dr. David Jaeger, the Vatican's legal advisor in negotiations with Israel
, presented an interesting fact pertaining to the status of holy sites: According to the United Nations resolution on November 29, 1947, Jerusalem is considered a "corpus separatum" that belongs neither to the Jewish or Palestinian state. Therefore, the Jordanian occupation of Jerusalem after the Israeli War of Independence was considered, like the Israeli occupation after the Six-Day War, to be "illegal."

And today:

The Reuters news agency on Thursday, October 7, ran an interview with Franciscan Father David Jaeger, a convert from Judaism who became a Roman Catholic priest in 1986, and who is a respected canon lawyer. He was part of the Vatican team that negotiated diplomatic relations with Israel in 1994 and is part of the Vatican team that is still ironing out the details of that accord. He was asked, "Do you fear that Israel may become the whipping boy at the synod?"

Father Jaeger: I reject this whole way of looking at the Synod. The Synod is not there to take positions on any political questions, for or against any country. The Church is not there for that in the first place, least of all the Holy See. The Holy See and the assemblies it convenes, such as the Synod, and the pronouncements of the Pope do not intervene, by their very nature, in temporal disputes between nations and states. They give moral judgments on the moral dimensions of temporal issues, in the name of God.

And what is God's judgement? Well strangely, it's the same as the Vatican's. Israel is not in the same theocratic ballpark.

ONWARD TO THE MEDITERRANEAN UNION CONFERENCE:

The MU was hatched with President Peres', speaking for all Israelis, enthusiastic support:

http://www.ejpress.org/article/25201

Peres supports ‘100 percent’ Sarkozy’s plan for Mediterranean Union

"I support 100 percent the plan," Peres, who is on a five-day state visit to France, said in an interview with French radio Europe 1. "The entire (Israeli) government is in favour of Sarkozy’s initiative of course," he added. "North Europe countries, the Maghreb countries in the south and the Arab countries in the middle, why not cooperate on what is possible?," he asked, recalling that Europe started with a union on coal and steel.

But current prime minister Netanyahu is right on board, vowing to meet the actor assigned the part of Palestinian president, Mahmud Abbas, in Paris, a month before the MU meet, to sort through details. You see, until the US mid-term elections are finished, five days before the MU conference, Pres. Obama dares not lift the whip to Israel. So Netanyahu is building and Abbas is stalling. It is up to the MU to handle the flogging:

http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition...ummit-1.317588

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos are to arrive in Israel Sunday to move ahead President Nicolas Sarkozy's idea of a summit in Paris later this month between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
According to French diplomats and officials in Netanyahu's bureau, the two leaders have expressed willingness to take part in a summit, planned for October 21. However, implementation would depend on the decision of the Arab League summit on Friday and on a solution to the crisis over the end of the construction freeze in the settlements.  Sarkozy's "excuse" for the Paris meeting is the need to prepare for the summit of the Mediterranean Union, scheduled for late November in Barcelona.
A senior Israeli official said Sarkozy would like to use a summit in Paris and the Barcelona conference to give France a more central role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

Guess who's coming to Barcelona? Why it's Pope Ratzinger of the Wehrmacht. And the celebrations in Barcelona have just begun for him:

Israeli, Palestinian Politicians Continue Dialogue

BARCELONA, Spain, OCT. 5, 2010 (Zenit.org).- The founder of the Community of Sant'Egidio is affirming that although reconciliation in the Middle East is difficult, once accomplished it will be a sign of a new era.
Andrea Riccardi stated this at the 25th International Meeting of Prayer for Peace, an annual gathering held as a continuation of the first interreligious and intercultural meeting called in 1986 in Assisi by Pope John Paul II
The three-day meeting, promoted by the Sant'Egidio Community, ended today in Barcelona. This year's event focused in a particular way on the situation in the Middle East, with the theme "Coexistence in a Time of Crisis: Family of Peoples, Family of God."
Papal link:
The meeting began on Sunday morning with a Mass presided over by the archbishop of Barcelona, Cardinal Lluís Martínez Sistach.During the Mass, a message from Benedict XVI to the meeting participants was read. Cardinal Sistach noted that this global summit of religions and cultures is tied to the visit the Pontiff will make to Barcelona next month. In a press conference preceding the peace gathering, the cardinal affirmed, "Meeting here during these days is a family of peoples, which is the family of God, and it is something much desired by Benedict XVI, as is the dialogue between religions."

With the MU composed of five Catholic states and five Muslim nations, the odds are stacked a bit heavily against Israel. To usher in the MU conference, look what a nice thing Spain and its king, Juan Carlos, has done for the Palestinians. For those who find significance in dates, November 20/10 will be the 35th anniversary of Gen. Franco's death, followed by Prince Juan Carlos becoming the King of Spain. Maybe that is significant, we may never know:

http://www.zawya.com/story.cfm/sidAN...0T155055ZOLY71

MADRID, Sep 10, 2010 (AFP) - Spain's government said Friday it plans to upgrade the Palestinian diplomatic mission in Madrid due to the prospect of an eventual "creation and recognition of a Palestinian state." The "General Delegation of Palestine" that has been in the Spanish capital since 1986 will henceforth be called the "Palestine diplomatic mission," the foreign ministry said in a statement. It said the head of the mission will have the status of ambassador, and will be formally accredited in a ceremony by King Juan Carlos. Spain said the decision "reaffirms the friendship and solidarity that unites the Spanish people and the Palestinian people."

As far as I've found, only one pro-Israel source was outraged by Spain unilaterally recognizing the new state of Palestine. All the Jews were otherwise anesthetized or buying new clothes for the November gala in Barcelona:

http://www.onejerusalem.org/2010/09/spain-recognizes-non-existent.php

Spain Recognizes Non-Existent Palestinian State

"Today, Foreign Minister Moratinos, has announced that Spain will behave diplomatically as if The PA was the government of The Palestinian State, its mission in Madrid being given diplomatic status of an Embassy as well as The consulate in East Jerusalem, that from today will be a Spanish Embassy.
He will encourage others to follow in preparation for the coming declaration of independence."
We have been keeping you informed of the growing movement to legitimize a Palestinian State outside the normal international framework of the creation of a State. Spain's action is a big step toward establishing such an entity. It completely sidelines Israel on this issue, so it is not dependent on Israel's approval. By ignoring Israel it sets the stage for the international community to recognize a Palestinian State along the 1967 boundaries. The Palestinians do not have to agree to anything to get this "prize." Therefore their demands for the so called right of return, their demands for Jerusalem to be their capital, and their refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish State will be granted to them and they will be asked for nothing in return.
Spain, as a major state in the European Union, is providing political cover for several other states that are vehement opponents of Israel. This development is a very serious.

And now all the pieces are in place for the checkmate of Israel next month in Barcelona. As for the Jews who will lose their homes and sovereignty...they're too busy blaming Arabs and Iran to bother noticing who really controls Israel's destiny. Or they think, it'll be okay, God will intervene. They don't see the essential message of their Torah. God does not intervene, He helps.

Spain - Press conference with the President of the Government and the Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority following the high-level meeting between Spain and the Palestinian National Authority

Quote President of the Government:
This is our opinion as the Government of Spain, and this is the opinion that we are going to convey to the European institutions, and of course to the North American Administration and that we have conveyed to the Palestinian Authority. The Union for the Mediterranean Summit will be held... for those members of the Union for the Mediterranean, the parties and countries that form a part of this important forum that can contribute to the peace process.

Friday, 6 Nov 2009 - The dollar will get "utterly destroyed" and become "virtually worthless", said Damon Vickers, chief investment officer of Nine Points Capital Partners. Due to the huge wage disparities between the United States and emerging markets like China, Vickers said that may resolve itself in some type of a global currency crisis.

"If the global currency crisis unfolds, then inevitably you get an alignment of a global world government. A new global currency and a new world order, so we may be moving towards that," he said.

Bibi Part II: duress or no duress, Bibi is talking such vacuous nonsense. Bibi, who gave you the right to squander our inheritance and endanger Jewish lives once again? WE KNOW THEY ARE THREATENING YOUR LIFE, WE ARE WITH YOU. BUT YOU MUST STAND FIRM, YOU MUST!

Bibi's Speech at Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations,  Wednesday,July 7th, 2010, New York

Thanks to Nurit.

What is Bibi saying: HE WANTS A U.N. WITH TEETH! Whose language is that, please tell me? WHO coined that phrase first? Isn't it exactly the content, and the exact same words, of the pope's encyclical, CARITAS IN VERITATE? This is one more proof to me that Bibi is being GUIDED AND INFLUENCED BY ROME, whether via Obama or not, whether by Ban-Ki Moon or not, whether by a message from Rome or not, whether under duress or not,  and whether his life is being threatened or not.

This is a short clip of what happened in front of the CFR on Thursday. Demonstration and counter-demonstration, with Neturei Karta as usual featured prominently together with Arabs and other die-hard antisemites.

It is really a shame that those Neturei Karta give all of the Haredim a bad name, because they dress alike. Most Haredim would never, ever say "God damn Israel".

I am also opposed to the government, I also want to see it destroyed and replaced by a righteous government, and of course, Bibi's words do not reflect my views, just as they do not reflect Israel's Jewish population views, of course, since he is speaking for the PTB , the CFR, and their handlers above them; but would I even DREAM of standing on the other side of the street? Don't these evil people know what that represents?

************

To get back to the previous day, Wednesday....

....Of course he went to the United Nations, meeting with  Ban Ki-Moon ( 2 days AFTER the queen's visit). What do you think: WAS there , or WASN'T there , a message for Bibi from the queen,  with other words from Benedikt?

"Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed national Jewish leaders, as well as political, civic and business leaders, at a meeting Wednesday in New York, sponsored by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Earlier he had met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon after conducting talks with U.S. President Barack Obama in Washington. (INN)"

To be noted that 7/7 is also the anniversary of the London bombing, and I can understand Queen Elizabeth II honoring that day. She did that by visiting the World Trade Center and laying a wreath there. But I have a couple of questions: why come to the U.S. to commemorate a strictly British disaster? And what does going to the United Nations headquarters have to do with that? The answer is: absolutely nothing. She specifically chose the U.N. because that is what the headquarters of the PTB, i.e. Rome, had decided. She could also have gone to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, for instance, which is much closer to her home; I am sure  Ban-Ki Moon would have made the effort to meet her there: why did she have to come specifically to New York, which is a much more difficult trip for an 84 year old lady, in 105 degree weather? There is no doubt that she came to the U.S. on a MISSION: she came to the U.S. because Bibi was also scheduled to be there at the exact same time, so that a message could be relayed to him - via the United Nations. Bibi's visit was also obviously timed for 7/7; she came a day before, and symmetrically, he came a day after. The timing of this visit was scheduled deliberately for the anniversary of Caritas in Veritate, when Benedikt originally declared his intention of a "U.N. with teeth," that is, a U.N. willing to use military force, ANY force, to achieve the pope's goal: the Holy Roman Empire, with its capital in Jerusalem.

NOTICE THAT BIBI'S MEEK SPEECH AT THE PRESIDENT'S CONFERENCE HAPPENED  AFTER HIS MEETING AT THE UNITED NATIONS. Was he handed a special letter there? I wonder. It would not be unusual for the pope to do that.

NOW WE UNDERSTAND BIBI'S MEEK , BLAND AND DILUTED POSTURE WHEN SPEAKING TO THE JEWS.

 *********

And this is what Bibi said at the CFR on Thursday.

He basically toed the line of "two states for two people", despite standing firm on settlement freeze. Time will tell; apparently a secret agreement was made between Bibi and Obama to not permit further construction anyway, but it was done via the back door, not in an official statement.

Netanyahu at CFR: Israel won't extend construction freeze; We've done enough,Let's get on with the talks"

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that Israel would not extend a construction moratorium in the West Bank past September and that he believed a peace agreement with the Palestinians could be reached within a year.

"I think we've done enough. Let's get on with the talks," he said, when asked in an appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations whether he would extend the limited freeze he put in place to coax the Palestinians into peace negotiations.

At the forum, Netanyahu repeated a call to the Palestinians to move from indirect talks that began in May under US mediation to face-to-face negotiations on statehood.

"I think we should seize the moment. And it is a challenging moment and an important moment. We have the ability to negotiate a peace," Netanyahu said at the international affairs think tank in New York.

"And I'm prepared to take risks," Netanyahu added, while stressing that would not entail any move that could jeopardize Israel's security.

"But we have to get on with it. We should just stop all the delays and start now, next week, in two weeks - get the talks going. Because only if we start them, we can complete them."

Netanyahu said he intended "to confound the skeptics and critics." But he added: "I need a partner."

"I'd like President Abbas to make, if not his Bar-Ilan speech, I'd like to hear the Bir Zeit speech in which he says these things very clearly. And I'd like to meet him and make peace"

The future of settlements, he said, would be addressed in the so-called final status talks with the Palestinians.

On the subject of Iran and its uranium enrichment program, which Israel regards as a grave threat, Netanyahu was supportive of recent Obama administration moves. "The statement that the president has made that all options are on the table is probably the most effective pressure that you could direct at Iran," Netanyahu said, addressing the possibility of using military force to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. "They have in the past backed off when they thought the U.S. would act in a more forceful way."

Addressing recent strains in U.S.-Israel relations, Netanyahu emphasized Israel's strategic value to the United States. "In the heart of the Middle East, Israel is the source of the greatest stability," he said, "the service that Israel does in the Middle East is below the swirl of public debate, is real and much appreciated by the governments that are actually acting to stabilize the Middle East, chief among them the United States."

 ***************************

.... And THIS will be the result of Bibi's visit to Washington and New York; whether under duress or of his own free will , the result will be the same. As far as I know, if a Jew is faced with his own death, or murder of another Jew, he has to choose death. Not so Bibi....

...MORE DEAD JEWS....

Goodwill moves likely upon PM’s return

, Jerusalem Post

Gestures may include releasing prisoners, security transfer to PA.

The Defense Ministry is drafting a comprehensive list of confidence-building measures that it anticipates it will be asked to implement after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu returns to Israel on Friday from his meeting with US President Barack Obama, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

It has not been decided if the measures will be taken only following an announcement on the opening of direct negotiations with the Palestinian Authority, which Netanyahu has said will likely begin in the coming weeks, or will be initiated sooner, as part of an Israeli and American effort to get the PA to sit down at the negotiating table.

Gestures may include releasing prisoners, lifting roadblocks, security transfer to PA

The gestures under consideration include the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails, the lifting of IDF roadblocks in the West Bank and the transfer of security authority over Palestinian towns in the West Bank to PA security forces.

On Monday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak met with PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in Jerusalem, in the first high-level meeting between top officials from the sides in about a year.

A senior defense official said that Fayyad urged Barak to move forward with the confidence-building measures and to include an Israeli commitment not to deport Hamas legislators from Jerusalem.

Four Hamas-affiliated Palestinian Legislative Council members currently face expulsion from Jerusalem. One of them, Muhammad Abu Tir, is in police custody for refusing to leave the city in late June, shortly after he was released from jail after serving close to four years.

And now the REAL results: amazing what a few threats on one's life can do:

Netanyahu hints at flexibility on Jerusalem

By Uriel Heilman · July 7, 2010

NEW YORK (JTA) -- It was an otherwise wholly unremarkable stump speech before a friendly audience in New York.
On Wednesday evening at Manhattan’s Plaza Hotel, the Israeli prime minister addressed a roomful of more than 300 Jews on
the subjects of Iran, his government’s eagerness for direct peace talks with the Palestinians and the swell meeting he had just
had with President Obama at the White House.
But then, in an off-the-cuff remark to a question on Jerusalem from the audience, Benjamin Netanyahu dropped a hint that his
government’s insistence on Israeli sovereignty over all of Jerusalem might not be ironclad.
“Everybody knows that there are Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem that under any peace plan will remain where they are,”
Netanyahu said in response to the question read by the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major
American Jewish Organizations, Malcolm Hoenlein.
The implication of Netanyahu’s remark -- that other neighborhoods of Jerusalem may not remain “where they are,” becoming
part of an eventual Palestinian state -- was the first hint that the Israeli leader may be flexible on the subject of Jerusalem. Until
now, Netanyahu has insisted that Jerusalem is not up for negotiation.
While the prime minister surely did not intend the gathering under the aegis of the Presidents Conference to serve as his forum
for opening up negotiations over Jerusalem, the impromptu remark before an audience of prominent New York Jews and a
handful of elected officials cast a slim ray of light on what Netanyahu thinks might be the Israeli capital’s ultimate fate.
It was significant as well because Netanyahu’s true intentions regarding the peace process remain largely opaque, the subject
of much debate from Washington to Ramallah. Netanyahu was a latecomer to the two-state position -- endorsing the idea of an
eventual Palestinian state only a year ago, after much prodding by the United States -- and the governing coalition he has
assembled is comprised largely of right-wing parties that do not believe in the current Palestinian Authority as a partner for
negotiations.
In public, President Obama declared Tuesday that he believes Netanyahu is genuinely committed to seeking a two-state
solution.
“I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu wants peace. I think he’s willing to take risks for peace,” Obama told reporters following
his Oval Office meeting with Netanyahu. “And during our conversation, he once again reaffirmed his willingness to engage in
serious negotiations with the Palestinians around what I think should be the goal not just of the two principals involved but the
entire world, and that is two states living side by side in peace and security.”
Privately, however, some U.S. administration officials have expressed doubts about Netanyahu’s ability to make good on that
vision. Other Obama supporters have questioned Netanyahu's commitment to that goal, and the Palestinian Authority
leadership says Netanyahu’s interest in negotiations is not serious.
“Words, not deeds,” was the assessment of chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, who dismissed Netanyahu’s lip service to
the peace process in an interview Tuesday with The New York Times. “We need to see deeds.”
Netanyahu insists he is serious about peace talks, and that it is the Palestinians who are playing games.
“You either put up excuses or you lead," the Israeli leader said in his New York speech. "I want to enter direct talks with the
Palestinian leadership now,”
“I think we can defy the skeptics,” he said, recalling the doubters that abounded when Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin
began talking to Egyptian President Anwar Sadat in the lead-up to the Camp David Accords, and when Richard Nixon visited
China. “This is a challenge I’m up to.”
Was it hyperbole or a sign of the legacy Netanyahu hopes for himself?
If Netanyahu is interested in following Begin and Nixon’s model, leading a conservative government to a historic rapprochement
with a longtime foe, eventually he will have to include Jerusalem in negotiations with the Palestinians; they won't sign a peace
deal without it. If not, Netanyahu is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the skeptics.
“This is going to be a very, very tough negotiation, but I’m prepared to negotiate,” Netanyahu insisted Wednesday. “But I cannot
engage between someone who won’t sit at the table.”
Very truly yours,

400 Rabbis to Bibi: they are saying exactly what I just said: BIBI, YOU HAVE TO STAY FIRM!

  • Rabbis Show Letter from Sharon Promising Disengagement Gains
Av 4, 5770, 15 July 10 09:17
by Gil Ronen
(Israelnationalnews.com)
The Rabbinical Congress for Peace (RCP) marked the fifth anniversary of Israel's disastrous withdrawal from Gaza by publishing a letter the group received from then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon dated July 18, 2005. The Rabbis had handed Sharon a Torah Ruling against ceding land but Sharon chose to ignore it.

"I believe that today, the benefit, peace and security of the Nation of Israel require the evacuation of the Gaza Strip, an area in which there is no chance of establishing a Jewish majority and which everyone knows will not be part of the State of Israel in a permanent accord,” Sharon wrote.
“At the same time, we are transferring the brunt of our efforts to the most important areas for safeguarding our future: the Galilee, the Negev, Greater Jerusalem, the settlement blocs and the security zones.

“I initiated the Disengagement because it is the best vehicle for a basic change in the national situation of the Jewish people. The departure from Gaza will have a decisive positive influence on all fields of life in Israel: security, economy and the quality of life in the country.”

Along with the letter from Sharon, the RCP re-published the Torah Ruling signed by almost 400 rabbis forbidding surrender of any land to foreigners. “The Disengagement proved again that the Torah Ruling against relinquishing land to enemies because it will make it easier for them to conquer the land is valid today more than ever,” the rabbinical forum said.
The Rabbis expressed their “amazement” that Israel has established various inquiry committees on different issues but “has still not found time to set up an inquiry committee to investigate the heinous crime committed by the Israeli government of uprooting thousands of Jews from their homes through a Disengagement which led to hundreds of casualties and to the deterioration of Israel’s security to an all-time low.”

Flotilla is result of retreat“We hope that the Terkel Committee that is investigating Israel’s actions in trying to impose a Gaza Strip naval blockade will also investigate the genesis of what led to this situation,” said Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Lewin, RCP Director-General. “The Committee must investigate what caused Israel to lose its deterrence. Turkey or any other country never dared to send provocative ships against Israel in the past.”

Rabbi Joseph Gerlitzky, Rabbi of Central Tel Aviv and Chairman of the RCP, said that for the past twenty years the RCP has corresponded with and met dozens of politicians and prime ministers and presented them with the Torah Ruling against giving up land to foreigners, an act which will only weaken and harm Israel’s security. Unfortunately, he added, the consequences predicted by the Halacha (Jewish Law) materialized against the opinions of all so-called “advisers, strategists and political analysts.”

“It did not take long before everyone saw Sharon’s colossal mistake,” the RCP stated. In his letter, the rabbis added, “He wrote that the Disengagement will bring peace and prosperity to the Negev, to greater Jerusalem, to the settlement blocs , and enhance Israel’s security, and we all saw the thousands of rockets that struck the Negev, we now see the threat facing greater Jerusalem and the continuous settlement freeze and the enormous concessions in Judea and Samaria  which were a direct result of the disengagement from Gaza (and the implementation of the Oslo accords), exactly as the Rabbis warned in their Ruling based on the Jewish Code of Law.”

'The Torah screams'“Yet there are still those don’t learn from the past and  believe that if we further concede, further withdraw, and be more flexible to U.S. demands and find favor in the eyes of the world they will fight Iran for us. The government also thinks that by begging the Palestinians to negotiate it will gain world respect and succeed in preserving Israel’s basic security needs.

“But the Torah does not change, the Rabbis stated, “it still screams and warns that any negotiations based on withdrawing from land under Israeli control will lead to incessant bloodshed and instability in the region.”

The RCP expressed some satisfaction over a slight resumption of building in the outskirts of Jerusalem but said this is not enough and demanded massive construction in all parts of Israel.

Rabbi Moshe Havlin, Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Gat and vice-chairman of the RCP, called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to follow in the footsteps of Sharon. Rabbi Havlin warned that every day that Israel refrains from construction in Jerusalem or in Judea and Samaria displays another concession to pressure and just leads to additional demands and stronger pressure than before.

“Mr. Netanyahu, the majority of Americans lack faith in President Obama and he cannot force Israel to do anything if you say no. Mr. Obama is trying to make political gains at the expense of Israel’s security and if you stand firm without wavering, the pressure will stop,” Rabbi Havlin said.

However, Bibi , with his D.M. EHUD BARAK, is not listening to the rabbis, obviously; so now, compliments of Israel, thank you very much...

  • Russia Supplying PA With 50 Armored Vehicles
Av 9, 5770, 20 July 10 04:58
(Israelnationalnews.com) Russia's Foreign Ministry said it has sent 50 armored vehicles to Jordan, for transfer to the Palestinian Authority. The vehicles will be moved over to the PA in coordination with Israel. The PA is receiving the vehicles for free. Russian army officers have already trained PA security personnel on how to use and maintain the vehicles.

Apparently:

 ( according to SHmuel)
The Russians have been trying the same 50 APC deal for several years.  All previous governments scuttled that.

And Mordechai says:
"Thank you VERY VERY much for this heads-up; this item, taken together with the widespread attack training that we've been hearing for the past couple of days (I've checked with friends in your area as well as the rest of Yehuda/Shomron) - not only is the pattern the same everywhere, but so is the army's response; it's no longer "weddings", rather, now it's "they finished their Bagrut (senior final exams)" and are therefore shooting as an expression of unrestrained joy.  The pattern heard in the several locations I have checked is the same:  15 or 25 rounds, two minute rest, then again, continuing for one and a half to two and a half hours, mid-morning, early evening, and then again late night.  New armored vehicles together with the expenditure of ammunition that widespread training involves show a strategic commitment of resources to the first strike attack option, and are therefore key indicators of readiness for such an attack."

......And now this:
