Spanish Gay Parade Rejects Israeli Gay Group

(Israelnationalnews.com) Europe's largest gay parade, to be held in Madrid, Spain, has asked the Israeli gay delegation not to come. The rejection is apparently out of fear it would offend pro-Arab sentiments and cause security concerns. Yossi Gal, a spokesman for the foreign ministry condemned the decision and stated that Israel is the only country in the Middle East tolerant of gays and lesbians. He called the rejection, an "anti-Israeli inquisition.

COMMENT:
