This is what a real protest looks like. Had the "lovers" of Eretz Yisroel been serious people, this is how Gush Katif and the Shomron would have looked. This is how Yeshah should look today. The problem is that they love their fantasy Golden Calf of the Medina more than Eretz Yisroel and are willing to be mislead by obvious charlatans.
BTW, I doubt that the Neturei Karta had much to do with this. The people who live there oppose autopsies because it is against the Torah and are willing to fight to prevent them in their own community. People who truly believe that an action is an abomination and against the will of G-D will fight to their fullest to stop it. When they do not, well draw your own conclusions.

And....
It has been a long time since I payed any attention to the "protesters", "polite" letter printers, the "from within". fellowship, petition signers... etc.
Much as the GOI is a dismal failure, so are they.
And this is not a mathematical case where two negative signs produce something positive.
Critical mass is moving away from the unJews and more and more Charedi are getting trained in military tactics.
They are far more assertive that anyone of us

Beit Shemesh - Hundreds of Haredim clashed with police forces in Beit Shemesh on Thursday injuring a police officer, following the death of a 10-year-old boy in his home.
When the police arrived at the scene, hundreds of ultra-Orthodox Jews started to congregate around the boy's home, apparently in fear the boy's body will be evacuated and undergo an autopsy.

The confrontation went on to escalate to serious clashes, and several individuals even tried to break into the boy's home and snatch the body from the police. The police was eventually able to scatter the crowd, after a police officer was moderately injured and two men were arrested.
Hundreds of haredim also protesting and rioting, torching trash cans in the Shabbat Square area in Jerusalem, following Neturei Karta protests in Beit Shemesh.
Police reported that all roads leading to the area have been closed for traffic and that large forces are on their way to disperse the demonstrations.
The boy's body was evacuated only after several rabbis and community leaders intervened. A doctor who examined the body determined an autopsy was not required. The cause of death of the boy still remains unclear, though police said there was no indication of it being criminal.
The boy will be buried at 5 pm on Thursday.

..... on the other hand, speaking about REAL protests:....so this rabbi let the Yassamniks in, to demolish the structures, but didn't let them out after the fact - where is the logic, what on earth is that supposed to mean? If he was going to protest the destruction, why didn't he protest BEFORE they destroyed the buildings? I guess Aryeh - see comment above - was right.
But meanwhile, those good for nothing special force Yassam policemen, sent by Ehud Barak, and of course with Bibi's approval, are busy doing our enemies' work. There are no words to describe the disgrace, the revulsion, the sheer abomination of those actions supported by our good for nothing government. May G-d give them all their just desserts very soon.
... And meanwhile, 70 rabbis protest....
and the Hesder Yeshiva Federation protests...
How?...By saying to the perpetrators, in writing, mind you: "OY VEI"...
That's a protest??? What protest???

Police Beat Rabbi at Shavei Shomron; 70 Rabbis Protest
Iyar 22, 5770, 06 May 10 11:08
by Gil Ronen(Israelnationalnews.com) Seventy rabbis have signed a letter of protest over a violent incident Monday in which Yassam special police beat Rabbi Yehoshua Schmidt of Shavei Shomron, in Samaria. Another letter was sent by the Hesder Yeshiva Federation to the Ministry of Defense, demanding an investigation.
The rabbis' letter bore the heading: "Woe is Us, for the Shaming of the Torah."
"We cannot even begin to imagine that the emissaries of the government in the State of Israel would behave so wildly an brutally toward a rabbi and wise scholar," they protested. "We remember such acts only from dark regimes, haters of Israel, that have passed from this world."
Rabbi Schmidt, 43, heads the Hesder High Yeshiva in the community, and is also Rabbi of Shavei Shomron.
According to the rabbi's wife, Ofra, some 200 policemen arrived at the community Monday with bulldozers to demolish four structures that were being built, allegedly in contravention of the current freeze order on construction by Jews in Judea and Samaria. The bulldozers drove through the yeshiva compound, which adjoins some of the property that was razed. The rabbi instructed some twenty yeshiva students who were present not to confront the police.
On their way back from the demolitions, she said, the destruction crews wanted to pass through the yeshiva grounds once again. This time, the rabbi parked his vehicle in a way that blocked the bulldozers' way and asked them not to pass through the yeshiva compound, which is private property.
Upon hearing this the police beat the rabbi, knocked him down and continued to beat him severely when he was on the ground. He did not require medical attention, she said, but expressed horror at the fact that Jewish police would beat a rabbi, even after being told that he was a rabbi.

..... And Barak now had something 'substantial" to offer Mitchell: a rabbi on a silver platter; what a prize!
