Unprecedented IDF Mutiny at Kotel

(Israelnationalnews.com) An unprecedented mutiny took place at the swearing-in ceremony of Shimshon Battalion soldiers at the Kotel Thursday evening. Immediately after being sworn in, some of the soldiers raised large signs which said "Shimshon Battalion does not carry out evictions at Homesh."
Parents of soldiers also raised similar signs at the same moment.
The anger and frustration within the ranks of the Shimshon soldiers and their families reached a boiling point after the battalion carried out numerous evictions at Homesh – a Shomron (Samaria) community that was razed in the "Disengagement".
Just as the Kfir Regiment Commander began his speech at the ceremony, soldiers from the battalion and raised two large signs against the evictions. Similar signs were raised by the soldiers' relatives in the audience.   The "Disengagement" carried out in 2005 by the government of now-comatose Ariel Sharon included the destruction of all Jewish communities in Gaza. It was carried out in the hope of bringing about peace with the Arabs. However, no peace  has materialized, and Jewish activists have been persistent in their attempts to return to Homesh. The military, on its side, has been evicting these Jews from the ruins time and time again – sometimes in a violent manner, and often on the Jewish Sabbath.

IDF officials warned Friday that the soldiers could face expulsion from Shimshon for their actions. "This was a shameful and anomalous breach of IDF discipline," a spokesman said. "Kfir Regiment Commander Colonel Oren Abman will consider terminating their service in the regiment.

And the SLIME's response....

Livni to Rabbis: Condemn Soldier Protest and Refusal

Cheshvan 7, 5770, 25 October 09 03:56

(Israelnationalnews.com) Opposition Leader Tzipi Livni said on Sunday that rabbis have to condemn demonstrations like last Thursday's waving of a banner that read "The Shimshon brigade will not uproot Homesh" by soldiers at their swearing-in ceremony. Speaking during a Kadima Knesset faction tour of Nitzan, which houses those uprooted from Gaza in 2005, the party chairwoman said, "In a democratic society, there is leadership, which makes the decisions, and there's an army which has to execute them. It's impossible to turn the army into a political arena and give legitimacy to a soldier to express his political views and enable soldiers to refuse orders."
Livni added, "A state of Israel which defends itself cannot allow itself to accept such manifestations."

.... The same slime that said this:

Livni: No Regrets on Disengagement

Cheshvan 7, 5770, 25 October 09 02:18

(Israelnationalnews.com)
On her tour of Nitzan and other areas where Jews displaced from the Gush Katif region of Gaza and northern Samaria have been living for the past four years, Kadima head Tzipi Livni said that she did not regret Israel having left those areas.
Nearly 10,000 Jews were expelled from their homes during the 2005 Disengagement from Gaza and northern Samaria.
"No one today, in Israel or the rest of the world, claims we should return to Gaza," she said. "Israel reserves the right to act in Gaza. Other than the personal suffering of those displaced from their homes, I am at peace with the decision to leave Gaza."

AND THE RULING SLIME'S RESPONSE TO THESE ABUSED AND BRAVE SOLDIERS? HEAP EVEN MORE ABUSE ON THEM!

Two Soldiers Who Held Up Signs Get 20 Days' Jail

(Israelnationalnews.com) The two soldiers who held up signs against the IDF's policy of evictions at their swearing-in ceremony Thursday evening have been court-martialled and sentenced to 20 days' jail each.
In addition they will be permanently ousted from the Shimshon Battalion.
Gabi, the brother of one of the soldiers involved told Arutz Sheva: "The soldiers who held up the sign are willing to pay the price and they know that they might go to jail but that does not deter them. This is a brave bunch of soldiers who knew what they were doing and its implications.”
"The soldiers have been demoralized for a long time after IDF officers incite them against their brothers in Shomron (Samaria), forbid them from being guests in their homes and dining there on Sabbaths... They enlisted in order to fight the Arab enemy... instead they are taken on actions against Jews throughout Shomron.”
The action by the soldiers took place at the swearing-in ceremony of Shimshon Battalion soldiers at the Kotel . Immediately after being sworn in, some of the soldiers raised large signs which said “Shimshon Battalion does not carry out evictions at Homesh.”
Jewish activists have been persistent in their attempts to return to Homesh since it was razed in the 2005 “Disengagement.” The military, on its side, has been evicting these Jews from the ruins time and time again – sometimes in a violent manner, and often on the Jewish Sabbath.
