I think once it can be proven that the government was DECEIVED and not informed of the serious dangers involved, it should be possible to BREAK THE CONTRACT LEGALLY: WHAT DO YOU SAY, LAWYERS? UNLESS.... they WERE told of the dangers, and decided to go ahead anyway.

New Agreement to Bring Flu Vaccines to Israel

(IsraelNN.com) Representatives of the Health Ministry, Treasury and the Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis have reached a new agreement on the purchase and delivery of H1N1 flu virus vaccines. The deal, scheduled to be signed Sunday, calls for faster product delivery, even before 2010. With the current agreement, Israel will receive enough vaccine for a third of its population by January 2010.

"The Israeli government is prepared to work with even more drug companies according to the country's needs," a Health Ministry official said.
