ALERT! JUST YESTERDAY I warned you about a likely scenario playing out in Israel. Now this; so, SERIOUS FLU CASE, OR SERIOUS QUESTIONS? NOW WHAT?

1. First Serious H1N1 Case in Israel

Reported: 16:44 PM - Jul/13/09

(IsraelNN.com) A young Israeli girl was hospitalized Monday in serious condition with H1N1 flu at the Ichilov hospital in Tel Aviv. Her condition has been complicated by pneumonia.

The girl’s mother has also been hospitalized with the disease, but she is in good condition. All previous cases of H1N1 flu in Israel have been mild.

After 846 reported cases of swine flu were recorded in Israel, the first severe case was diagnosed Monday.

2.Jerusalem Post:

A 21-year-old tourist from Sweden was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv with a severe case of the H1N1 virus infection.

The tourist's mother was also diagnosed with swine flu and hospitalized in the same hospital suffering a light infection.

So far 94,512 people have been diagnosed with swine flu globally, and 429 have died from the disease.

3.Swedish tourist hospitalized with H1N1 virus

Published: 07.13.09, 13:31 / Israel News

A 21-year-old tourist from Sweden was hospitalized in the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center's intensive care unit in serious condition after contracting the H1N1 virus.

The patient's mother also caught the virus and was admitted in mild condition. As of yesterday, there have been 846 cases of the flue reported in Israel, all of which showed only mild symptoms. (Meital Yasur – Beit Or)

Comment:

Pneumonia requiring ICU care is serious, granted; but let me ask you: does every person hospitalized in Israel in the ICU for pneumonia make the news? Of course not. The question we have to ask is, WHY IS THIS BEING PUBLICIZED NOW? IS THIS THE REQUIRED PRELUDE FOR AN EXCUSE TO MASS-IMMUNIZE CHILDREN IN ISRAEL TOO, IN COORDINATION WITH THE REST OF THE WESTERN WORLD?

Besides that, according to two of the reports above, the girl happens to be a 21 year old tourist from Sweden, while the third report lists her as a YOUNG ISRAELI GIRL: who is correct? How old is she, and is she Israeli, or a Swedish tourist?

Did the 21 year old young Swedish woman suddenly morph into a young Israeli girl FOR A VERY SPECIFIC REASON: TO DEMONSTRATE THE DANGER OF THE SWINE FLU VIRUS TO ISRAELI CHILDREN??

Are we dealing with a reporting error, disinformation, or confabulation?

We need to follow this very closely, and NOT BE FOOLED BY HEADLINES. FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS WILL ALERT US EXACTLY AS TO WHAT THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WAS ALL ABOUT.

NB: according to somebody who lives in Tel-Aviv, Sourasky is a part of Ichilov. At first I was wondering why two separate hospitals were mentioned, but that would explain the discrepancy in reporting, and my concern was unwarranted.
