(IsraelNN.com) This Tuesday, January 27th, the United Nations will mark International Holocaust Memorial Day. At 10:00 a.m. New York time former Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau will address a special UN assembly.

In addition, other UN and Israeli officials will address the assembly, as well as Holocaust survivors. The theme of the day this year is, "A true basis for hope: remembering the Holocaust and education."
