Shas Leader Calls to Pray for Soldiers

(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the spiritual leader of Shas, has called on the public to pray for the welfare of IDF soldiers in Gaza.  Rabbi Yosef made his request during his weekly Torah lecture on Saturday night.

"Only our soldiers are stopping the wicked," he said.  "We need to pray for them, they are sacrificing everything."
