I saw stars ad almost fainted."   Knesset security was greatly concerned with the possibility of such an incident following the terror attacks in the United States back in 2001. Several Anthrax scares were noted overseas at the time and the Knesset's chief security officer warned ministers, MKs and parliament employees of suspicious envelopes.   Benizri stirred controversy when he said that the recent earthquake that was felt across Israel was the result of the "homosexual activity practiced in the country.   "The Gemara mentions a number of causes of earthquakes, one of which is homosexuality, which the Knesset legitimizes," he said.   Back
