Olmert and Rice To Talk in Japan

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will discuss negotiations with the Palestinian Authority (PA) when they are visiting in Japan next week, one week before she is to visit Israel and the PA.

Officials in the Bush administration recently have expressed concern over the effects of Israel's restrictions of movement of goods through Gaza crossings. The government has limited the flow of supplies and often has closed the crossings because of continuing rocket attacks, some of which have come dangerously close to strategic sites in the port city of Ashkelon.
