Olmert to Abbas: Food and Medicine Will Reach Gaza

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert assured Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas at their meeting Sunday that foodstuffs and medicine would continue to be shipped into Gaza.

Other details of the two-hour discussion between Olmert and Abbas were not released.  Foreign Minister and chief Israeli negotiator Tzipi Livni was also expected to join the meeting, as was PA chief negotiator Ahmed Qureia.
