As a teenager, I wrote an article on Esperanto, and even started learning the language, I had found the idea quite fascinating. Zamenhof, I remember quite well.

An old idea, but useless, to my mind. Who on earth will speak this created concoction? Why not learn a live language? How about Hebrew? The Holy Tongue, the language of the Bible? Then maybe everybody can read the TRUTH at its source, without having to resort to dubious translations full of misunderstandings. And maybe the world will become smarter as a result.DShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09994156495571982528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6632148178430811066.post-80629871905878157852009-02-15T15:55:00.000+02:002009-02-15T15:55:00.000+02:00I notice that President Barack Obama wants everyon...I notice that President Barack Obama wants everyone to learn another language, but which one should it be? Yet this leaves Mandarin Chinese and Arabic out of the equation.

Why not decide on a non-national neutral common language, taught worldwide, in all nations?

An interesting video can be seen at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8837438938991452670.
