That being said, I fear this is true. Israeli leaders are corrupt to the core, as are many in Congress, we all know this.
The disturbing part though is not the charges, nor are its ramifications. The odious part is that the reason why an Israeli blew the whistle on this is because they are fed up with Arab deaths, NOT Jewish ones. The only thing I would want to know is - who is the traitor in the Knesset who gave this info? It is either an Arab MK or one of the radical Peace Now/Death Now brigade.
IF the shit hits the fan on this I think a Jewish fatwa needs to be placed on the head of the leaker. While I am all for the downfall of our corrupt leaders, I am not in favor of it coming about in the service of our enemies.

Palestinians Need Israel to Win
If Hamas gets away with terror once again, the peace process will be over.

A quarter century has passed since Israel last claimed to go to war in the name of peace.
"Operation Peace for Galilee" -- Israel's 1982 invasion of Lebanon -- failed to convince the international public and even many Israelis that its goal was to promote reconciliation between Israel and the Arab world. In fact, the war had precisely the opposite results, preparing the way for Yasser Arafat's disastrous return to the West Bank and Gaza, and for Hezbollah's ultimate domination of Lebanon. And yet, Israel's current operation in Gaza is essential for creating the conditions that could eventually lead to a two-state solution.

Over the past two decades, a majority of Israelis have shifted from adamant opposition to Palestinian statehood to acknowledging the need for such a state. This transformation represented a historic victory for the Israeli left, which has long advocated Palestinian self-determination. The left's victory, though, remained largely theoretical: The right won the practical argument that no amount of concessions would grant international legitimacy to Israel's right to defend itself.
That was the unavoidable lesson of the failure of the Oslo peace process, which ended in the fall of 2000 with Israel's acceptance of President Bill Clinton's proposal for near-total withdrawal from East Jerusalem and the territories. The Palestinians responded with five years of terror.
Yet much of the international community blamed Israel for the violence and repeatedly condemned its efforts at self-defense. The experience left a deep wound in the Israeli psyche. It intimidated Israeli leaders from taking security measures liable to be denounced by the United Nations and the European Union, or worse, result in sanctions against the Jewish state.
One consequence was an Israeli reluctance to respond to periodic Hezbollah provocations following Israel's unilateral withdrawal from Lebanon in May 2000. This hesitancy allowed the Shiite terror organization to amass a rocket arsenal with the proclaimed intent of devastating Israel's population centers.
Finally, when Hezbollah unleashed its weapons in July 2006, Israel was widely accused of responding disproportionately. It was pressured into prematurely ending its defensive operations in Lebanon, and compelled to accept an international "peacekeeping" force that has permitted Hezbollah to rearm far beyond its prewar levels.
Israelis are now asking themselves whether their Lebanon nightmare is about to repeat itself in Gaza. The parallels are indeed striking. As in Lebanon, Israel in 2005 unilaterally withdrew to its international border with Gaza and received, instead of security, a regime dedicated to its destruction. The thousands of rockets and mortar shells subsequently fired on Israeli neighborhoods represented more than a crude attempt to kill and terrorize civilians -- they were expressions of a genocidal intent.
Israelis across the political spectrum agreed that the state had the right, indeed the duty, to protect its people. But one question remained: Would the international community consent?
That question grew urgent in the days before Dec. 19, when the tenuous cease-fire between Israel and Hamas expired. Nearly 300 missiles landed in Israel, paralyzing much of the southern part of the country. Yet Israeli leaders held their fire.
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni flew to Cairo to implore Egyptian leaders to urge restraint on Hamas, and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told viewers of Al-Arabiyah Television that Israel had no interest in a military confrontation. If Israel was guilty of acting disproportionately, it was in its willingness to seek any means, even at the risk of its citizens' lives, to resolve the crisis diplomatically.
Yet the U.N. Security Council abstained from condemning Hamas and convened only after Israel resolved to act. The U.N.'s hypocrisy, together with growing media criticism of Israel, is reinforcing Israeli concerns that territorial concessions, whether unilateral or negotiated, will only compromise the country's security and curtail its ability to respond to attack. This fear is compounded when Israelis consider withdrawals from the West Bank, which is within easy rocket range of its major population and industrial centers.
Gaza is the test case. Much more is at stake than merely the military outcome of Israel's operation. The issue, rather, is Israel's ability to restore its deterrence power and uphold the principle that its citizens cannot be targeted with impunity.
Without the assurance that they will be allowed to protect their homes and families following withdrawal, Israelis will rightly perceive a two-state solution as an existential threat. They will continue to share the left-wing vision of coexistence with a peaceful Palestinian neighbor in theory, but in reality will heed the right's warnings of Jewish powerlessness.
The Gaza crisis also has implications for Israeli-Syrian negotiations. Here, too, Israelis will be unwilling to cede strategically vital territories -- in this case on the Golan Heights -- in an international environment in which any attempt to defend themselves will be denounced as unjustified aggression. Syria's role in triggering the Gaza conflict only deepens Israeli mistrust. The Damascus office of Hamas, which operates under the aegis of the regime of Bashar al Assad, vetoed the efforts of Hamas leaders in Gaza to extend the cease-fire and insisted on escalating rocket attacks.
In the coming days, the Gaza conflict is likely to intensify with a possible incursion of Israeli ground forces. Israel must be allowed to conclude this operation with a decisive victory over Hamas; the untenable situation of intermittent rocket fire and widespread arms smuggling must not be allowed to resume. This is an opportunity to redress Israel's failure to humble Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2006, and to deal a substantial setback to another jihadist proxy of Iran.
It may also be the last chance to reassure Israelis of the viability of a two-state solution. Given the unfortunate historical resonance, Israel should refrain from calling its current operation, "Peace for Southern Israel." But without Hamas's defeat, there can be no serious progress toward a treaty that both satisfies Palestinian aspirations and allays Israel's fears.
At stake in Gaza is nothing less than the future of the peace process.

Attorney General's office launches several investigations against prominent religious figures following several media reports suggesting rabbi decreed that Jews were no longer allowed to hire Arab laborers

Deputy Attorney General Shai Nitzan instructed the police to launch an investigation against several prominent rabbis in the Orthodox community on suspicion of incitement.
Tuesday's decision followed petition filed by the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC) back in March. The IRAC filed its petition following several media reports suggesting Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky decreed that Jews were no longer allowed to hire Arab laborers.
The rabbi issued the alleged ordinance following the deadly attack on Mercaz Harav rabbinical seminary in Jerusalem.Also implicated in the case is Haim Barzilai, Rabbi Kanievsky's operations officers, who reportedly sent "supervisors" out to the Orthodox community in order to ensure that the rabbi's word was adhered.
The Attorney General's Office did, however, find no grounds to launch an investigation against Rabbi Kanievsky at this time.
The IRAC also asked the State to investigate alleged incitement by other prominent rabbis, the likes of Yitzhak Shapira, David Drukman, Daniel Stavsky, Ido Alba and Rabbi Yehuda Kroizer.
The rabbis are suspected of issuing calls for revenge against Arabs following the attack on Mercaz Harav.
Two-dozen rabbis are also suspected of distributing flyers after the bulldozer attacks in Jerusalem, describing east Jerusalem residents as "the tip of the iceberg of a national problem which has become an existential threat to the people is Zion."
Also under investigation is Rabbi Dov Lior of Kiryat Arba, who warned his followers against the perils of hiring Arabs or having them as tenants.
The Israel Religious Action Center issued a statement saying "over the past few months we have seen deterioration in incitement activity in Israel. This matter should concern anyone who cares about the Israeli democracy. We welcome these investigation and home the will serve justice."

I did check it out. And indeed, if it is true, it is quite a story. And I wouldn't be surprised,. Still, first, I'd like to see real proof, not just claim of such.
Second, the ones really in trouble are the Americans, not the Israelis.
Third, I wouldn't mind seeing these government Israelis paying the price, as long as they are the typical garbage characters, even if the source of the leak is diametrically opposed to my views, But in the end, who knows, salvation might come from the most unlikely places, such as the extreme left. They tell on the slime for the wrong reasons; as long as the slime pays, why should I care? I just hope it doesn't hurt Am Yisrael.

Women's Groups Organizing 'Huge Rally' Against Gaza Operation

The demonstration, which organizers believe will be "huge," will take place in Haifa Friday and will call on Israel to accept the international initiatives for an immediate ceasefire.
The organizers number 18 groups, including the Coalition of Women for Peace (itself a coalition which includes groups like Machsom Watch and Women in Black), Ahoti, Ruach Nashit, Isha L'Isha, Bat Shalom, The Organization for Women's Economic Empowerment, Women's Parliament and other groups.
In a letter to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, the women's groups demanded an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza. "The masculine way of killing and destruction must stop and give way to women's language and action for peace and dialogue between nations," they wrote.
'A wide range of political views'
Claiming to represent "a wide range of political views," the women's groups demanded "an end to the use of instruments of killing and bombs, and to immediately sit around the negotiating table and talk peace, not war."
"We want the cycle of killing and destruction to cease," they added.
Feminist groups and pundits were the first to come out against the Gaza operation from its outset. In an op-ed for Maariv/NRG Sunday, feminist activist Dorit Rabinovich called upon Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to oppose the war.
"In a move that is nothing but pure chauvinism and sexism, made up of slogans about invasion, occupation, penetration and a disregard for the will of the public in the country, this is Livni's time to say 'enough' to the government's rape of society," she wrote.
Rabinovich predicted that soon, hundreds of thousands would take to the streets against the war, and the pundits will also come out against it. As a precedent she cited the successful protest by women's groups against the IDF security zone in Lebanon, which was aided by feminist journalists like Shelly Yechimovich (now a Labor MK). That movement is credited with causing then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak's decision to withdraw from Lebanon in 2000.
Complaint to the UNSC
On Monday, a coalition of Israeli women's groups filed a complaint against Israel to the United Nations Security Council. The groups claimed that Israel is not complying by a law passed in 2005 that requires the participation of women in the Israeli government's decision-making forums.
According to Attorney Anat Tahoun Ashkenazi of Itach-Maaki, "the winds of war prove the need for placing women in the government institutions and the centers of decision making."

Frontpage Interview's guest today is Jonathan Schanzer, deputy director of the Jewish Policy Center. He has served as a counterterrorism analyst at the U.S. Department of Treasury and as a research fellow at Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He is the author of the new book, Hamas vs. Fatah: The Struggle For Palestine. Daniel Pipes wrote the foreword to the book and some of the research was undertaken at Pipes' Middle East Forum.
FP: Jonathan Schanzer, welcome to Frontpage Interview.
Schanzer: Thanks, Jamie.
FP: You are an expert on Hamas and Fatah. What were Hamas's calculations in it its rocket attacks?
Schanzer: First, it is important to stress that these rocket volleys are not at all new. Hamas has been firing rockets consistently at Israel for many years now – since 2001. Even during the recent ceasefire, or "lull" as some call it, Hamas fired salvo after salvo of rockets against Israel.
From a targeting perspective, as I note in my book, Hamas really has no calculations. Qassam rockets are very crude homemade weapons. They are virtually impossible to fire with any accuracy. Hamas simply aims them in the direction of Israeli civilian populations and then hopes that they cause damage or casualties.
In terms of a broader strategy, Hamas fires these rockets because its financial patron, Iran, encourages the group to do so. In fact, I would venture to say that Hamas would not have broken the ceasefire had it not gotten permission from the Mullahs to do so.
On a grassroots level, Hamas gains popularity by carrying out violence against the Jewish state. In other words, causing Israeli bloodshed strengthens Hamas's political standing on the Palestinian street, where the majority puts a premium on anti-Israel violence.
FP: So if the majority of Palestinians in Gaza support Hamas's vision of destroying Israel, which is reflected in the fact that the Palestinians elected these radical Islamists to power in 2006, how exactly can the world not blame the Palestinians for what we now see unfolding? Expand for us a bit on Palestinians' support for violence against Jews and how any peace can even be possible if that kind of hate is not dealt with and denounced.
Schanzer: You get to the crux of the Palestinian–Israeli conflict here. The conflict exists because most Palestinians still seek the destruction of the State of Israel. This is why Hamas, an organization that is known primarily for its suicide bombings and rocket attacks against Israel, won the popular vote in the free and fair legislative elections of 2006. Suicide attacks and rocketing get wide approval ratings in the Palestinian territories. This is, to some extent, why Hamas and other groups continue to employ these violent tactics. The decision to support murder and bloodshed is now backfiring horribly on the Palestinian people.
FP: Did Hamas hope for this Israeli response?
Schanzer: Unquestionably, Hamas knew that Israel would respond with force and probably looked forward to it on some level. They readied their photographers and public relations people to begin disseminating stories of Israeli "aggression."

FP: So why does the international community support Hamas in its tahdiyeh when it is so clearly employed just as a preparation for renewed conflict against Israel?
Schanzer: The international community wants to avoid conflict at all costs, even when it's just kicking the can down the road. That's exactly what happened here. The tahdiyeh was just a temporary calm that enabled Hamas to prepare for another round of fighting.
My question here is not why the international community supported this re-arming period. I question the Israeli rationale for allowing Hamas to replenish its military supplies, train fighters, and prepare for battle.
FP: Let's move on to the military action itself. Why did Israel react and why now? Is it the right thing to do? Is Israel going about it the right way?
Schanzer: What the public needs to understand is that this violence did not simply "break out," which is what the mainstream media reports. Back in June, Hamas declared that it would maintain a lull in violence against Israel for six months. This was not an agreement with Israel. It was a unilateral decision. Similarly, it was a unilateral decision for Hamas to begin firing rockets into Israel when Hamas chose to end its ceasefire. Not surprisingly, when the rockets began to rain down on Israel, the Israel Defense Forces responded. And it is doing so in accordance with international law.
There are, of course, those who make ludicrous claims of "disproportional force." But these are merely opinions of what an appropriate response might look like. This has nothing to do with the legality of Israel's military operations.
In my opinion, Israel's strategy to date has been the right one. The Israelis have not risked the lives of their soldiers. All the while, the air force continues to pound high value Hamas targets with the help of satellite imagery. The Israelis now warn that there will be new phases in its counteroffensive.
FP: Expand a bit on how what Israel is doing is in accordance with international law.
Schanzer: Without getting too technical here, Israel is hitting only military targets with surgical air strikes and expending great effort to avoid civilian casualties. It has also made a compelling case that it is acting in self-defense. Israel is also warning Gaza residents of impending strikes in some cases to further reduce civilian casualties.
I think it's worth pointing out that when Hamas launches rockets, the goal is to kill as many civilians as possible. Israel takes the opposite approach.
FP: Your thoughts on the hypocrisy of the international community's, the U.N.'s, and the liberal Left's condemnations?
Schanzer: The United Nations's silence in response to Hamas rockets has been deafening. The tired calls for restraint on both sides – after Hamas launched nearly 7,000 rockets into Israel, demonstrates yet again that this international organization lacks credibility.
Surprisingly, some states in the Arab world – notably Egypt and Saudi Arabia – have condemned Hamas for the violence. Similarly, some European states – notably Germany and the Czech Republic – have stood behind Israel's decision to respond. I expect this support to trail off, however, the longer these operations continue.
As for the liberal Left, we continue to see blind condemnations of Israel's self-defense measures. This is nothing new.
FP: What explains the United Nations' silence in response to Hamas rockets?
Schanzer: The United Nations has lost all perspective regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict. Many nations vilify Israel simply because it is a close and vital ally to the United States. Perhaps more to the point, these nations realize they need Arab oil more than they care about international justice. Thus, they vote the way the Arab regimes lobby them to vote. Again, the U.N. has lost all credibility in recent years.
FP: Why have some states in the Arab world, like Egypt and Saudi Arabia, condemned Hamas for the violence?
Schanzer: I believe these nations fear the creeping power of the Iranian axis. Hamas is clearly in Iran's orbit. None of these Sunni states want Iran's influence to grow any more than it already has.
FP: Fatah has criticized Hamas in all of this? Your interpretation?
Schanzer: As I detail in my book, Fatah is in a full-on war with Hamas. It should therefore come as no surprise that Fatah has slammed Hamas for this confrontation. There are even reports circulating that Fatah seeks to be re-installed as the governing organization in Gaza. We'll have to see whether Israel sees this as an objective.
FP: Should Israel see re-installing Fatah as the governing organization in Gaza as an objective?
Schanzer: In my view, Israel should not hand over control of the Gaza Strip to Fatah for two reasons.
The first reason is that Fatah seeks the destruction of Israel. Yes, there are moderates within. But the organization as a whole still seeks to replace the Jewish state with an Arab one.
The second reason is that a transfer of power to Fatah would almost certainly fail. Fatah is weak. It's a group of loosely-affiliated militias that cannot work together. Accordingly, Fatah would almost certainly fail to hold this territory.
It is also worth noting that the residents of Gaza would reject a transfer of power from Israel to Fatah, primarily because it would be viewed as some sort of malicious Israeli initiative.
FP: Final thoughts?
Schanzer: Israel has all of the means at its disposal to destroy Hamas in the Gaza Strip. It has the strongest, best-trained, and most mechanized military in the Middle East. However, the IDF cannot expect limited operations to eliminate Hamas. Limited means will only yield limited results.
FP: And so you are suggesting?
Schanzer: I'm suggesting that Israel should not stop short of a victory. If Israel fails to fully defeat Hamas – if it does not force it into an unconditional surrender – we will see a repeat of this war in another six months or another year.

Israel has no clear objectives in Gaza
1. Israel has no defense against missiles from Gaza, as we are now so painfully seeing across the south of Israel just as our brothers in the north of Israel saw in the summer of 2006.
2. Israel has no clear objectives in Gaza, just as they had no clear objectives in Lebanon. What's the goal? To destroy Hamas? Hamas is not a ruling party - it's a grass-roots movement of devout Moslems. As the Torah tells us, they live by the sword - they can't be destroyed by conventional weaponry. Hi-tech armaments can't blow up an ideology.
3. Israel is deathly afraid of a ground assault; this is apparent in the Government and Defense Establishment's loss of momentum, excessive and contradictive rhetoric, and lack of conviction to fight the vicious war on the booby-trapped Gaza turf. That is also why they're trying to sign a truce.
4. In effect, the military arm of Hamas - Izzadin Kassim - is relatively unscathed and underground. Only a long and bloody campaign can flush them out of Gaza. They know that and are therefore praying five times a day that Israel attack Gaza on the ground.
In a most illogical move, the Israeli Defense establishment is recommending to the government a ceasefire with Hamas. Hamas claims that it has been approached about a truce, but has flatly refused it.
If the above repotss are true, then it means that we have the same confused leadership that bowed to Nasralla and the Hizbulla 30 months ago. At this point, any ceasefire will be a huge victory for Hamas and allow them to upgrade and restock more deadlier and longer-range missiles for the next inevitable round of hostilities. Also, just the thought of a truce or ceasefire at this point is an indication that Israel lacks the conviction and the means to end the missile threat from Gaza.

1.More than one high level commentator has predicted that the US will collapse into chaos approaching anarchy c. 3 months after the inauguration, when the euphoria has passed and people realize that the economy will not turn around. Let Obama fume.
Does Obama think there will be peace if Israel capitulates to Arab demands and returns to the 1949 Armistice lines and allows millions of "refugees'" descendants into Israel. Let him give us his wife and daughters as hostages, not to do anything heroic, of course, just to live quietly in a luxury apartment in a pleasant town on a peaceful border, someplace like Kfar Sava, Modiin or Jerusalem. Let them attend our schools and ride the buses with us and eat in pizza parlors and restaurants with us and sit in outdoor cafes with us. Let us see them every day to assure us that he is sincere in his conviction that we will have peace. And if Dhimmi Carter believes also that we can have peace if we give up "Apartheid," let him send us his grandchildren as hostages also. Same goes for James "F----the-Jews" Baker and Martin Indyk and all the others who want to "save Israel from itself." B. Rockets of far more power and accuracy are hitting Beersheba, near Nahal Sorek Nuclear facilities, etc,
on what appear to be trajectory adjustments trials by Hamas/Iran in Gaza.
If you may notice the Gazan islamics have five critical facilities near the Gaza Border that for now they have nor hit to harm.
A huge electrical power station called Rotenberg. Ashkelon about a Km from Gaza.
The israeli national fuel terminal and depot only a few hundred meters away from the power station.
The Ashdod oil refinery, chemical tank park and port.
C. The talk is that Hezbollah is waiting to see if and when the completely worthless idf command plays around in Gaza with ground forces and then 5000 rockets will fly over here from the North. Another 40000 will remain in their storage until later.
D. Turkey has just announced that they will also enter nuclear weapon development programs.
E. Iran is suspected to be about three months away from their first test.
I really believe that we need to address the above and leave Mr. Obama, (with or w/o a birth certification... LOL), and his Jewboys playing whatever games they feel like playing while the US financial and social structure falls apart.

The whole farce is unraveling fast.
A. No one saw 340 dead islamics being buried in Gaza after the BIG surprise... attack.
Usually that gets first page coverage in the press the world over. Pictures anyone?
B. Rockets of far more power and accuracy are hitting Beersheba, near Nahal Sorek Nuclear facilities, etc,
on what appear to be trajectory adjustments trials by Hamas/Iran in Gaza.
If you may notice the Gazan islamics have five critical facilities near the Gaza Border that for now they have nor hit to harm.
A huge electrical power station called Rotenberg. Ashkelon about a Km from Gaza.
The israeli national fuel terminal and depot only a few hundred meters away from the power station.
The Ashdod oil refinery, chemical tank park and port.
C. The talk is that Hezbollah is waiting to see if and when the completely worthless idf command plays around in Gaza with ground forces and then 5000 rockets will fly over here from the North. Another 40000 will remain in their storage until later.
D. Turkey has just announced that they will also enter nuclear weapon development programs.
E. Iran is suspected to be about three months away from their first test.
I really believe that we need to address the above and leave Mr. Obama, (with or w/o a birth certification... LOL), and his Jewboys playing whatever games they feel like playing while the US financial and social structure falls apart.
Lets talk about the above a bit.

The rabbis are suspected of issuing calls for revenge against Arabs following the attack on Mercaz Harav. Two-dozen rabbis are also suspected of distributing flyers after the bulldozer attacks in Jerusalem, describing east Jerusalem residents as "the tip of the iceberg of a national problem which has become an existential threat to the people is Zion." Also under investigation is Rabbi Dov Lior of Kiryat Arba, who warned his followers against the perils of hiring Arabs or having them as tenants. The Israel Religious Action Center issued a statement saying "over the past few months we have seen deterioration in incitement activity in Israel. This matter should concern anyone who cares about the Israeli democracy. We welcome these investigation and home the will serve justice."

Israel has no clear objectives in Gaza
1. Israel has no defense against missiles from Gaza, as we are now so painfully seeing across the south of Israel just as our brothers in the north of Israel saw in the summer of 2006.
2. Israel has no clear objectives in Gaza, just as they had no clear objectives in Lebanon. What's the goal? To destroy Hamas? Hamas is not a ruling party - it's a grass-roots movement of devout Moslems. As the Torah tells us, they live by the sword - they can't be destroyed by conventional weaponry. Hi-tech armaments can't blow up an ideology.
3. Israel is deathly afraid of a ground assault; this is apparent in the Government and Defense Establishment's loss of momentum, excessive and contradictive rhetoric, and lack of conviction to fight the vicious war on the booby-trapped Gaza turf. That is also why they're trying to sign a truce.
4. In effect, the military arm of Hamas - Izzadin Kassim - is relatively unscathed and underground. Only a long and bloody campaign can flush them out of Gaza. They know that and are therefore praying five times a day that Israel attack Gaza on the ground.
In a most illogical move, the Israeli Defense establishment is recommending to the government a ceasefire with Hamas. Hamas claims that it has been approached about a truce, but has flatly refused it.
If the above repotss are true, then it means that we have the same confused leadership that bowed to Nasralla and the Hizbulla 30 months ago. At this point, any ceasefire will be a huge victory for Hamas and allow them to upgrade and restock more deadlier and longer-range missiles for the next inevitable round of hostilities. Also, just the thought of a truce or ceasefire at this point is an indication that Israel lacks the conviction and the means to end the missile threat from Gaza.

However, most of what he reports is straight up, being confirmed by other reliable sites. For example, the article about the Russian professor saying that the US would be eventually broken up into six parts? Turner reported that bit of information back in November!! Eric Phelps was the first to fill me in on Turner's position, and also that even though Turner was a Neo-nazi racist, his news articles were mostly all reliable. In fact, Eric has used Turner's report on the North American Union and the introduction of the Amero which will soon replace the dollar. I see that there are ostensibly intelligent people who believe that conquering the Gaza Strip and turning it over to the "Good Terrorists" is a viable option. I am astonished at the stupidity of the notion. Once they have lost credibility and legitimacy and been thrown out, they have lost face. In the Middle East, that is the end. One cannot return to power, most certainly not on an Israeli tank, and be accepted as legitimate. The PLO would remain in power only if the Israeli military imposed it on the "Palestinians" with draconian force, the same way that Quisling ruled Norway under Nazi Germany. As it is, Abbas is derisively called the "Mayor of Ramallah" and cannot even travel to Nablus except under Israeli army protection. 1. To re-elect Kadimah and re-empower our PLO (Peres, Livni and Olmert)
2. To replace Hamas in Gaza with Fatah in order to bring about the one state dissolution.
3. To give Gaza to "our" terrorists -the 'moderate' murderers under Abbas with whom Israel can negotiate away its existence

While every death deeply affects family and friends, few of those deaths can be described as a monumental loss for Zion. The passing of Tsafrir Ronen - a stalwart, non-intimidated defender of Zion - will surely register as such when the history of modern Israel is told in full.
As a former sayeret matkal (General Staff Reconnaissance Unit) commando, a prolific documentary filmmaker and a founder of the Nahalal Forum, to name a few of his accomplishments, Tsafrir was a totally devoted defender of the land and people of Israel. An individual with great vision and a sweeping understanding of Jewish history, he knew instinctively that the war being waged against Israel had many dimensions. As a warrior he understood well the military dynamics, but it was his visceral and incisive understanding of the media war being waged against us that caused him to stand head and shoulders above the rest.
To that end, he decided to direct all his passions and energies - through the use of his extensive knowledge of the media - to save Israel both from its external foes and internal ones. As the ex-CEO of the Israel History Channel, he knew what needed to be done media-wise. Constructively, he put his vision to work by creating the conceptual and business underpinnings for Israel World Television, the first pro-Israel satellite channel to be broadcast worldwide, providing for 24/7 coverage, FOX News-like.
He assembled an all-star lineup of backers, which included major players in the Israeli and worldwide business scene, coupled with a roster of the most astute political thinkers on the Israeli landscape today. Most importantly, he had the backing of Natan Sharansky, a man of worldwide respect as a champion of freedom. What his diverse group of supporters had in common was the intrinsic understanding that Israel is losing the battle on the media front and that we are at an existential crossroads. On a national level, his loss will most likely be appreciated when history is written. In the same manner that few understood the profound essence of all of Ze'ev Jabotinsky's efforts for our homeland while he was alive, so too will Tsafrir's undertakings resonate in future generations. I suspect that he will be the model that future generations of Zionists will emulate when his activities on behalf of Zion become more widely known.
Rest in peace my dear friend. May your memory be for a blessing.

the article below was written by our dear friend Rachel Saperstein, expelled from Neve Dekalim and now living in Nitzan. Rachel describes how the Gaza War has reached them too,expellees from Gush Katif, living in their cardboard homes.
Feelings here in Israel are very mixed. On the one hand we of course pray for a succesful IDf operation against the Arab enemy; on the other hand we have no trust in the real intentions of the Livni-Barak leftist government. People are furious that this government has done nothing for years against the kassams and the missilies, has done nothing to free Gilad Shalit, has agreed to give the Hamas months of quiet which enabled Hamas to arm itself with the most modern missiles that can reach Ashdod and Beersheva, and now that elections in Israel are around the corner and all polls show that Barak and Livni will be shamefully thrown into the opposition...all of a sudden Livni and Barak are waking up and are doing something. Something they should have done years ago. The fear in Israel is that this is just a brief and cynical show of strength by Barak and Livni to try to gain some political points, or even worse...to justify postponing the elections completely. Likud MK Steinitz even came out yesterday warning that a postponement of the elections will be a victory for terror.
Another fear we all have is that one of the secret purposes of this military operation is to bring down Hamas only in order to reinstall Fatah.
Since the Oslo agreements, the Israeli governments have tried to convince us that Fatah members led by the holocaust denier and arch terrorist Abu Mazzen are really "partners" that we can talk to and make agreements with. Yet , we have not been fooled and we know that this is a big lie. Fatah, Hamas, Jihad, Hizbollah and El-Kayeeda are all one and the same: Arab terrorists who work towards one goal: the destruction of Israel as a first step to a global islamo-fascist Jihad against the Western world.
We, parents of IDF soldiers, are sending our children to the army ,knowing full well the price that we might pay, and this, on condition that our IDF soldiers will be sent to fight for the people of Israel and the Land of Israel. On the other hand we do not agree to have our children used as canon fodder for Abu Mazzen and the Fatah. At the contrary, we believe that all Fatah , Hamas and other terror leaders must be killed and their organizations destroyed once and for all.
So on the one hand, we all pray for the wellbeing of our brothers and sisters in the south, for our IDF soldiers and for a succesful military operation against the Arab enemy. On the other hand we must remember who is responsible for all this.
Let's remember that the Israeli Left laughed at us in 1993 when we warned that the criminal and shameful Oslo agreements would bring katyushas to Ashkelon and Ashdod . The Left even called us "hysterical warmongers".
Let's remember that when the IDf had full control over Gaza and Jews lived and flourished in Gush Katif , there were no katyushas on Israel at all. Only when the IDF abandoned Gaza in the year 2000, did the katyushas start falling; first on Gush Katif and Sderot and after the expulsion the Arab kassams reached Ashdod and Ashkelon.
Let's thus remember that it is Israel's abandoning first of Gaza and later Gush Katif that enabled the Arabs in Gaza to arm themselves like an army and launch missiles and kassams on Israel. Yes...let's remember that Ariel Sharon, Ehud Olmert. Tzippy Livni, Ehud Barak and all other pro-Oslo and "pro-disengagement" (expulsion from Gush Katif) politicians have created this mess, have created the monster of Hamastan in Gaza.
And thus let's make sure that we will have elections in Israel on February 10th. In those upcoming elections , let's make sure that we punish all those politicians who have enabled the Arabs to take over Gaza. Let's make sure Livni and Barak will be thrown far into the opposition. and let's make sure that this time the Israeli people elect a proud Jewish Zionist government that is not scared to tell the world:

Luckily, lovers of the Land of Israel will have whom to vote for in these elections. Yesterday , finally, the real national camp united and formed one party. GAZA WAR REACHES US by Rachel Saperstein, Neve Dekalim/Nitzan
We have forty-five seconds from the time the missile leaves Gaza and reaches us. The tracking system lets each area know that a rocket is due to land in their vicinity. Then the siren wails. It may not land on your doorstep or penetrate your roof but it is somewhere around.
I know all of this because we got notices from the Home Front Command, the Regional Council and our own Neve Dekalim Council. The first two were slipped under our door; the latter, via email.
Today we even were visited by the army, which has taken over the Community Center. Reserve soldiers, both English speakers, knocked on our door, introduced themselves and asked me how I was feeling and could they come in for a chat about security. My first reaction was to say "You pulled us out of our home instead of cleaning up the mess we lived under for five years." My second reaction was my general politeness when people come to my door. I invited them in.
I assured them that I don't feel very secure in this cardboard house.
The two young men felt uncomfortable especially when they informed me that the Home Front Command was planning on bringing in large sewer pipes. Yes, you read that correctly, sewer pipes, made of thick concrete, for our protection. The pipes would be distributed to each cul-de-sac. When the sirens wail we would run outside, crawl into our very own sewer pipe and wait five minutes or at least til we hear the explosion. Then we crawl out and return to our cardboard homes.
I stared open-mouthed in disbelief. From our homes in Gush Katif to cardboard caravillas in a refugee camp to a sewer pipe. We have certainly hit rock bottom. I laugh as I write this. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. I was assured that the pipes would withstand an explosion close by but not a direct hit. Our bit of security.
The south of Israel has become a war zone. We went to Ashkelon yesterday. The health clinic I visited was practically empty. The mall in which it is located was mostly closed. Even the pharmacy, open when we arrived, was closed when we left at 4:30pm. Except for a shop selling mobile phones all was dark and deserted. A large city lives under the shadow of massive rocket attacks. Children can no longer go to school. Social and cultural events are cancelled.
Our local grocery and greengrocer are still well stocked. Mail is delivered. Electricity is still on. For how long?
This afternoon the sirens wailed. We heard three explosions in the distance. Friends are calling offering us a place of refuge. An emergency committee is being formed. I volunteer for it.
A reporter for a Danish newspaper called. Would I meet with him and give him my take on the war. I agree, and he is thrilled to be entering a war zone. Journalists are not allowed into Gaza, but those who lost interest in us after our expulsion are interested once again now that the war has reached us. I keep thinking of a motto from our days in Gush Katif: "Those who flee from Gaza will find Gaza coming to them."

Washington - For a decade, Russian academic Igor Panarin has been predicting the U.S. will fall apart in 2010. For most of that time, he admits, few took his argument -- that an economic and moral collapse will trigger a civil war and the eventual breakup of the U.S. -- very seriously. Now he's found an eager audience: Russian state media.
In recent weeks, he's been interviewed as much as twice a day about his predictions. "It's a record," says Prof. Panarin. "But I think the attention is going to grow even stronger."
Prof. Panarin, 50 years old, is not a fringe figure. A former KGB analyst, he is dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry's academy for future diplomats. He is invited to Kremlin receptions, lectures students, publishes books, and appears in the media as an expert on U.S.-Russia relations.
Mr. Panarin's résumé includes many years in the Soviet KGB, an experience shared by other top Russian officials. His office, in downtown Moscow, shows his national pride, with pennants on the wall bearing the emblem of the FSB, the KGB's successor agency. It is also full of statuettes of eagles; a double-headed eagle was the symbol of czarist Russia.
The professor says he began his career in the KGB in 1976. In post-Soviet Russia, he got a doctorate in political science, studied U.S. economics, and worked for FAPSI, then the Russian equivalent of the U.S. National Security Agency. He says he did strategy forecasts for then-President Boris Yeltsin, adding that the details are "classified."
In September 1998, he attended a conference in Linz, Austria, devoted to information warfare, the use of data to get an edge over a rival. It was there, in front of 400 fellow delegates, that he first presented his theory about the collapse of the U.S. in 2010.
"When I pushed the button on my computer and the map of the United States disintegrated, hundreds of people cried out in surprise," he remembers. He says most in the audience were skeptical. "They didn't believe me."
At the end of the presentation, he says many delegates asked him to autograph copies of the map showing a dismembered U.S.
He based the forecast on classified data supplied to him by FAPSI analysts, he says. He predicts that economic, financial and demographic trends will provoke a political and social crisis in the U.S. When the going gets tough, he says, wealthier states will withhold funds from the federal government and effectively secede from the union. Social unrest up to and including a civil war will follow. The U.S. will then split along ethnic lines, and foreign powers will move in.
California will form the nucleus of what he calls "The Californian Republic," and will be part of China or under Chinese influence. Texas will be the heart of "The Texas Republic," a cluster of states that will go to Mexico or fall under Mexican influence. Washington, D.C., and New York will be part of an "Atlantic America" that may join the European Union. Canada will grab a group of Northern states Prof. Panarin calls "The Central North American Republic." Hawaii, he suggests, will be a protectorate of Japan or China, and Alaska will be subsumed into Russia.
"It would be reasonable for Russia to lay claim to Alaska; it was part of the Russian Empire for a long time." A framed satellite image of the Bering Strait that separates Alaska from Russia like a thread hangs from his office wall. "It's not there for no reason," he says with a sly grin.
Interest in his forecast revived this fall when he published an article in Izvestia, one of Russia's biggest national dailies. In it, he reiterated his theory, called U.S. foreign debt "a pyramid scheme," and predicted China and Russia would usurp Washington's role as a global financial regulator.
Americans hope President-elect Barack Obama "can work miracles," he wrote. "But when spring comes, it will be clear that there are no miracles."
The article prompted a question about the White House's reaction to Prof. Panarin's forecast at a December news conference. "I'll have to decline to comment," spokeswoman Dana Perino said amid much laughter.
For Prof. Panarin, Ms. Perino's response was significant. "The way the answer was phrased was an indication that my views are being listened to very carefully," he says.
The professor says he's convinced that people are taking his theory more seriously. People like him have forecast similar cataclysms before, he says, and been right. He cites French political scientist Emmanuel Todd. Mr. Todd is famous for having rightly forecast the demise of the Soviet Union -- 15 years beforehand. "When he forecast the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1976, people laughed at him," says Prof. Panarin.

Maybe, but I took a good look at his last pictures. He appeared to me to likely have hyperinsulinemia, which usually accompanies heavy belly fat. This syndrome, syndrome X, usually entails high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, glucose intolerance, and atherosclerosis, So from a medical point of view I would not be surprised if he had a heart attack. At first the word was going around that he died of heart failure. That would have been very strange, in a young man, without a heart attack. I think it was just a mistranslation. A heart attack in a 53 year old obese man is not unusual.
On the other hand, we have to consider the question of motive: was there, or was there not, a motive to do away with him? Barry doesn't think so, I do. I think he was a symbol of Homesh, and just at a time when even Eli Yishai recommended to return to Homesh, his disappearance, again symbolically on Chanukah, is very important. So yes, there definitely was a motive.
This said, I am very familiar with the weapon of the Jesuit: THE CUP OF BORGIA, which was used NUMEROUS TIMES , and for centuries, against enemies of the Jesuits , including popes, political figures, anybody whom the Jesuits would consider a threat ( and of course, as Jewish lovers of Eretz Yisrael, we are ALL enemies of the Jesuits , and of their poodles in the Israeli government)

(IsraelNN.com) The Supreme Court on Sunday night overruled Saturday night's decision by the Tel Aviv District Court to give Michael Ratzon the 21st spot on the Likud list of candidates for Knesset in the February elections. The Supreme Court ruling puts Ratzon in the 34th position on the ballot.
The decision means that Moshe Feiglin, Ehud Yatom and Tal Brodie also remain in spots on the ballot with a relatively low chance of being elected to the Knesset.

Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah said Saturday that they were prepared to assume control over the Gaza Strip if Israel succeeds in overthrowing the Hamas government.
"Yes, we are fully prepared to return to the Gaza Strip," a top PA official told The Jerusalem Post. "We believe the people there are fed up with Hamas and want to see a new government."
Another PA official said Fatah had instructed all its members in the Gaza Strip to be prepared for the possibility of returning to power.
"We have enough men in the Gaza Strip who are ready to fill the vacuum," he said. "But of course all this depends on whether Israel manages to get rid of the Hamas regime."
The two officials voiced hope that the current IDF operation would end Hamas rule in Gaza. They said that the PA was also prepared to dispatch security forces from the West Bank to replace the Hamas militiamen.
However, they denied Hamas allegations that the PA had urged Israel to launch a massive attack to overthrow the Hamas government.
Also Saturday, Fatah called on its supporters in the Strip to storm Hamas-controlled prisons to release Fatah detainees. The call came as most of Hamas's security installations were demolished by IAF planes.
Fatah representatives in the West Bank said that Hamas was holding more than 250 Fatah men in its various prisons throughout the Gaza Strip. They expressed fear that Hamas would use the detainees as human shields against the Israeli air strikes.

Inauguration faces credible bio-weapon threat; insurrection threats
Washington, DC -- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is working feverishly to thwart what they believe is credible evidence of a planned bio-weapons attack during the Inauguration of Barack Obama on January 20.
According to sources who demanded anonymity for fear of being fired and prosecuted over revealing national security information, Domestic groups obtained several different genetically-engineered, militarized, bio-weapons from laboratories that lost security and were ultimately destroyed when Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans several years ago.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) routinely licenses labs to research bio-weapons with the goal of improving the possibility of curing them if an enemy unleashed such an attack. Quite a number of these laboratories were located in the southern United States and in Louisiana in particular, when Hurricane Katrina struck.
Prior to the arrival of the hurricane, labs were told to euthanize test animals and lock-up or destroy their bio-weapon samples. Most did. Some did not. (Would you destroy your life's work?)
When the hurricane struck, electricity and telephone lines were cut, meaning security at all the labs was totally offline. Several hours went by between the time security was rendered useless and the time that the labs themselves were blown down or destroyed by floods.
After the hurricane struck, it became clear to federal authorities that not only were some test animals not killed, they got loose when the labs were blown down. They remain loose to this day, spreading the diseases with which they were infected to other animals.
It is also widely known in national security circles that "many active cultures" of military grade bio-weapons were intentionally stolen by former lab workers who intended to earn huge money by selling those bio-weapons to the highest bidders.
According to the source from DHS, authorities know for a fact that the following biological weapons were acquired by unauthorized persons: Weapons grade Anthrax, weapons grade Y-Pestis (Pneumonic plague), genetically-modified mousepox and, worst of all, militarized smallpox. All of these diseases have a 75% and higher mortality rate. (At least 75% of those who become infected, die.)
According to the source from DHS, federal authorities have information that the weapons will be used to attack the inauguration in a manner that cannot be defended against. DHS has been told weapons grade biological materials will be placed inside helium-filled balloons which are tied shut with the same type of fuse cord found on typical firecrackers.
The poison-filled balloons can be driven in cars, vans or trucks to a position near the inauguration which can take advantage of prevailing winds, which would carry the balloons over the crowds.
Once the fuses are lit, the balloons could be released, the wind would carry them over the crowd and when the burning fuse hits the thin rubber balloons, they will pop, dumping their deadly payload over the assembled crowds.
Short of grabbing the groups involved prior to inauguration day, there is no way to prevent such an attack. If such balloons are released, there is no way to round them up before the fuse burns causing the balloon to pop. Authorities also cannot shoot down the balloons because shooting them will cause the same release.
Civil Insurrection?
If the potential bio-weapons attack isn't bad enough, there is also word of coordinated civil insurrection on the same day. According to a source within the FBI, groups unhappy with the present economic crisis, intend to attack and overthrow the US government by mass assassinations of members of Congress and the Senate.
Adding to the danger is yet another group of furious Americans who are allegedly planning to kill members of the US Supreme Court for refusing to deal with the very legitimate questions surrounding the citizenship of Barack Obama.
The U.S. Constitution requires Presidents to be "natural born citizens." According to wide ranging and reputable sources, Barack Obama was born in Kenya and thus is not a "natural born citizen."
Despite proof from several reputable sources incluiding the Kenyan Ambassador to the United States who confirmed Obama was, in fact, born in Kenya, courts in various states have refused to consider the issue. The US Supreme Court has refused at least two of those cases.
These groups allegedly say that if the Constitution is not obeyed, then a Barack Obama Presidency would be totally illegitimate. They view the courts as co-conspirators in violating the Constitution and several of these groups allegedly plan to attack the court members, using the massive crowds attending the inauguration as cover to make their escape.
Justices of the Supreme Court may have one chance left to avoid such a confrontation; they have scheduled another "conference" about the Obama issue for January 16. Four days before inauguration day.

URGENT UPDATE: MORE PRISON RAIL CARS OUTSIDE NYC
Ridgefield, NJ -- As previously reported on this web blog ( here), additional prisoner-transport-rail-cars have once again been found in a secluded rail yard off the New Jersey Turnpike at mile post 116.6, southbound on the western spur.
In the previous story at the link above, I obtained actual video of the rail cars when I first found them at night. Within 12 hours of publication of that original story, the first set of prison rail cars were moved somewhere else.
This latest photo, from the same rail yard, shows more prison cars in the same rail yard!
The image below, taken in the DAYLIGHT, clearly shows more of the FEMA-purchased rail cars have been shipped just 6 miles outside of mid-town New York City. This latest shipment brings to more than 100, the number of prison rail cars outside of metropolitan New York City.

Each rail car has three levels, with shackles welded inside to hold upwards of two hundred fifty (250) prisoners in each car.
Clearly, the federal government is intent on rounding up many, many people and is strategically locating it's prison rail cars for that purpose.
Prepare yourselves, a real fight is likely coming soon.

This is exactly it...And that is why this whole arrest of the Jew Madoff, exhibited as some kind of a monster who devised a diabolical scheme, is such a phony - as distasteful and ugly as what he did notwithstanding -.The US government has been doing the exact same thing for years. Not to mention the banks. After all, what is this whole idea of "CAPITALIZATION", if not exactly this:
HOW MUCH MONEY DOES THE BANK HAVE TO COVER ALL ITS DEBTS, SHOULD ALL THE DEPOSITORS WITHDRAW THEIR FUNDS AT THE SAME TIME: 5%? 10%? 20%? , etc?? What that means is that the bank has only that many dollars to cover all the debts due - 5%, 10%, 20%, ETC. After that, good luck to all the other investors; a typical PONZI scheme.
The problem with Madoff was, he was a Jew, and he tried to play a game only the big - NON-JEWISH boys are allowed to play. And therefore, knowing fully well what he was doing ( they had been warned about his shenanigans for almost a decade) , they used HIM to cover their own tracks!
Unless, of course, the BIG BOYS are playing an ever uglier game: remember the video I just sent you last week, about the DOUBLE SET OF BOOKS KEPT BY, AND ALL THE MONEY SOCKED AWAY BY THE GOVERNMENTS. With other words, they only PRETEND to be broke, They STILL PLAY THE PONZI SCHEME, but WHILE THEY KEEP ALL THE MONEY TO THEMSELVES. And are NOT broke a bit.

The question asked is, why was this report of the real murder scene kept hidden from public knowledge? I have discussed this on my show a few times, but I would like to re-emphasize here on this blog by giving you an example. In Israel, it goes something like this: "Son, are you ok? Were you near the scene? When will you be home? Thanks G-d you're alright." And after making all the calls to our loved ones we believed could have been in the area of the attack, and after viewing film on the news at the scene which has been carefully censored, we turn off the TV and say, "tsk tsk" with our tongues and go about our day. After all, when we see the censored 'parev' film footage on TV news (wherever we are in the world) what were we allowed to actually see? We only see the coverage of people being wheeled on stretchers into ambulances. No blood, or very little of it, is shown on the news. Instead, the wounded that ARE shown, are lying on gurneys with their arms flailing. They have a pained look on their face with their hands on their head. It looks like they have a migraine headache. So why should people who see these bland scenes get incensed and demand the obliteration of the enemies attacking us? After all, what we are allowed to see just looks like a lot of peoople who got scared and are at worst suffering from shock. In Israel, the very next day, shattered store fronts at terror scenes are hurredly repaired and the blood is cleaned away.
Attack against Israeli civilians in a Netivot apartment. The problem here is that the attack today on the Hamas was like swatting at a bee. You're just going to rile him up while he still has his stinger. Our own news reports say this operation will not stop attacks. What has to be done is that this war that has been launched against Israeli citizens has to be WON by us. We have to neutralize the enemy who is attacking us, once and for all. Two weeks ago, there was a demonstration in Gaza where most of the Hamas leadership was, including the thousands that actively support them. Perhaps this demonstration should have been hit? We could have cut off the head of the snake when we had them all gathered together.
When I was speaking to my mother on the phone and telling her Israel could have attacked the Hamas leaders and their supporters at that demo, she commented, "You may be right. We're going to get flack anyway for today's attack. It wouldn't matter if we killed 2 or 20,000 it would be all the same to the world's media." I hung up and then watched the news with my family tonight, they showed a press conference with PM Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzippi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak sitting at a table and saying that they don't wish harm to Arab citizens in Gaza and will continue to make sure that food and supplies will keep flowing to them through our borders. I remarked, "Yah, like the Allied forces would worry to make sure the Nazis in Germany had food supplies? How sick to worry about a population that elected Hamas murderers to lead them." My 12 year old son seemed to agree that it was ludicrous to feed our enemies who are still holding kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit and launching missiles against us. He looked at our leaders blah-blah-blah-ing about how they are trying to be so magnanimous to our enemies and he looked at me and stated, "I wish someone would throw a shoe at them". I received word this morning of the untimely passing of my friend and fighter for Israel, Tsafrir Ronen. I echo the sentiments of Women in Green
Women in Green are shocked, pained and in mourning over the untimely death of our dear friend Tsafrir Ronen Z'L.A proud and fearless Jew, Tsafrir fought for Eretz Israel with all his heart and soul.
He never flinched from expressing, in every possible forum, the spiritual and historical truth of the Jewish People in its Land.
Women in Green pledge to continue in his path the struggle for Eretz Israel.
We will miss him - his wonderful personality. His humor. His speeches. His words of strength. His courage. His optimism.
We will always remember him and draw strength from his spiritual power. may his memory be blessed.

Just the day before his passing he told me that he just got word that Israel Broadcasting Authority was going to finance a four hour documentary on his article Hadrian's Curse: The Invention of Palestine as a Psychological Weapon for Conquering Eretz Yisrael . He was so excited. He was to produce it. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
The funeral will be tomorrow Sunday in the community of Moledet in the Galil. For the exact hour pleas check arutz 7. We were told that it will be around 2:30pm.

This was terribly shocking news for us. Tsafrir was someone we had come to know very well. His plans, his grand ideas…. what will be of them?
This week's Parsha was Miketz. Much is concentrated on Yosef the dreamer and his ability to save a country from the brink of disaster. Today we lost such a dreamer.
Here is a picture I took a little over a year ago in Homesh, the beautiful Shomron hiltop community plowed flat by the Israeli government and its "defence" forces. Tsafrir in on the left, and his good friend and twin fighter for Eretz Yisrael, Boaz Ha'Etzni, son of Elyakim Ha'Etzni.

Tsafrir was at the head of efforts to keep on putting Homesh back on the map. Tomorrow was supposed to be a march to Homesh. Unfortunetly the march was cancelled because of security concerns resulting from today's Israel military actions.
We will continue marching to Homesh. We will continue to build, no matter how many times the government knocks us down. In memory of Tsafrir, we won't stop.
We miss him. May his memory be blessed.

It was calling for all-out revolution on the part of the people as the only remedy to save the nation from financial ruin. Prayers Asked for Injured in Chanukah Accident

(IsraelNN.com) People are being asked to pray for fourteen people who were injured, including several critically, in a tragic accident at the Chabad Chanukah Wonderland in the Five Towns area of Long Island, New York Thursday afternoon. A 76-year-old driver lost control of his car, slamming it into the holiday site, which was filled with some 150 children and their families.
At least six of the injured were children, hospital officials said. "We are doing whatever we possibly can for the families of these children during this most difficult of times and urge all people of good will to keep them in their prayers," said Rabbi Zalman Wolowik in a statement posted on the Chabad of the Five Towns website.
The Hebrew names of eight critically wounded crash victims were released on Friday on the crownheights.info website. The names are as follows: Yitzchok ben Hadasa Devorah Basya Faiga, Shmuel ben Tova, Yehudis bas Tova, Yakira Breidel bas Rache, Rivka bas Chana, Yitzchak Zev ben Masha Ehsha, Yaakov Tzvi ben Sara, and Daniel ben Rivka.

In 1997, an attorney visited me twice hoping to convince me that the president of Israel's Supreme Court, Aharon Barak, was involved in the Rabin assassination. He insisted that Barak is, "the most dangerous man in Israel. He's taken over the state. In my circles, Peres may be the chief suspect but he couldn't have done it without Barak's approval." He added, "Why do you think Meir Shamgar ran the commission of inquiry? He was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and that means the Supreme Court has taken full responsibility for controlling the crime." My problem is the Supreme Court certainly turned down every appeal to it to re-investigate the murder, so it abetted the murderers of Rabin, but I could find nothing on Barak himself. And I just didn't have enough legalize in me to understand how powerful Barak really is.
Then, in December 2008, I gave a speech in Omaha and my sponsor was a rabbi, Jonathan Gross, far wiser than I, who had delved in depth into Israel's current decay. He recommended a book he possessed to understand the quick and unstoppable decay in Israel's core values. The book is Coercing Virtue by Robert Bork.
Admittedly, I was reluctant to even look at the book because Bork gained judicial power after Pres. Nixon ordered his attorney general, Archbald Cox, to fire the special prosecutor investigating Watergate. Cox refused, his deputy refused, but Bork, by process of elimination, rose to the office of attorney general by signing the order. That said, my prejudices were overcome by Bork's later integrity, and the good rabbi gave me the book to study at home.
Bork was the inspiration to my finally understanding Barak. He explains how Barak took over the state, substituted justice for oligarchy, and has, indeed, gone to great lengths to protect Peres.
Coercing Virtue explains how the Knesset was taken over by the Supreme Court. As the new Prime Minister, Rabin, took office in 1992, a law was passed that was, in essence, Israel's unknown constitution. Without even reading the clauses of the law, without debating its provisions, with fewer than half of Knesset members in attendance, the Knesset passed a law giving executive powers to the Supreme Court. From this point on, anyone could get an instant hearing on their petition to indict any member of the government. The petitioner need not have been personally injured by the Respondent, and no long lower court process was required to get a hearing from the nation's highest court.
The real change of regime occurred when PM Rabin opposed a Supreme Court ruling that his coalition partner, Rafael Pinchasi, could be stripped of his Knesset immunity and tried for corruption. Without Pinchasi and his Shas Party, Rabin couldn't form a governing coalition. Rabin ordered the government's attorney general to present its arguments to the Court and he refused to defend Rabin. The only party legally authorized to defend the government is the attorney general and when he said no to Rabin, he and the Supreme Court took over Israel, including its military forces. We cite Bork's Coercing Virtue:

The Israeli Supreme Court is making itself the dominant institution in the nation, an authority no other court in the world has achieved. Israeli Legal Advice: Fire On Gaza Only In Open Areas
Israel Defense Minister Ehud Barak requested advice from the security establishment's legal adviser to enable the Israeli army to fire into Gaza, due to the escalation in Gaza rocket fire in the past month.
The Legal adviser to the Israel Ministry of Defense, Mr. Ahaz Ben-Ari stated in his opinion that according to international law, fire can only be aimed at open areas, yet not at built-up areas. "There is no blanket prohibition in international law on artillery fire towards military targets in the Gaza Strip," wrote Attorney Ben-Ari. "However, in light of the fact that artillery fire has a very low level of accuracy, and causes a relatively high degree of damage, artillery fire can only be carried out towards relatively open areas, if it is believed that the rocket cells will be hit as a result and that the launches from these areas will be stopped or reduced, and this fire will not cause excessive damage to civilians who may be in the area."
Despite these restrictions, the legal adviser clarified that if repeated fire is identified from a built-up area, "the response can be increased by giving the residents of this area warning of the intention to respond with fire, with a recommendation to evacuate the area within a reasonable period of time."
Mr. Ben-Ari made it clear that in any case, "carpet bombing" was not authorized, even if the population had abandoned the area, in order to prevent complete destruction of civilian property. What Mr. Ben-Ari did not consider was that any warning delivered by the Israeli army of imminent attack on an Arab village would generate a counter response, with the likelihood being that terrorists would invite TV crews and various levels of the civilian population to act as human shields against any planned Israeli attack.

Having been victimized by Israeli kangaroo courts, and reporting on endless judicial outrages, I had to find one event as a metaphor for the hideous coordination between the Supreme Court and the government it controls. One incident, found in my book Bye Bye Gaza, stood out as an example of how the court victimizes the people.
In late July 2005, over 50,000 people had gathered in Sderot for a protest organized by the Yesha Council, supposedly to march to Gaza and save Gush Katif. We got in our cars for the mission but the police, predictably if you're me, had blockaded our passage. Thousands of cars pulled over to the side and word was spreading quickly to march half a mile to the blockade to confront the police.
In my car were my friends Jerry and Iris. I said, "It's going to happen at last. Let's meet the police and push them out of the way." Iris felt like me, nervous about police reaction, but knowing that if Gush Katif was to be saved, we had to defeat the authorities. Jerry joined us, but was worried how injury or arrest would be viewed at work.
Half way to the police lines, worried Yesha Council workers ran up and down the lines, warning everyone to get back in their cars because, "The Bagatz, (the Supreme Court), is hearing our petition to continue right now."
As I watched the mob return to their cars, I said to Jerry and Iris, "Let's go home. Gush Katif is gone."

Twice as Many Indictments, Half as Many Convictions
Another statistic shows that while the rate of indictments per criminal case averages 14% across the country, in the Judea and Samaria District it was no less than 38% - more than twice the national average.
Even more significant, however, is the rate of convictions: While across the country, 97% of those indicted on criminal files are convicted, in Judea and Samaria it is only 54%. The report therefore concludes that the judicial system ends up doing the "filtering out" work that the police are supposed to do, "and this is a grave blow at the basic civil rights of suspects in Judea and Samaria, who, because of the selective law enforcement policies, find themselves in the status of 'accused' who are forced to defend themselves in court, with all that that implies, in order to regain their status of presumed innocence."
pp. 115 - The court's values implement a socialist impulse to cultural and social affairs. They are universalistic in scope, and to the exclusion of competing values, stress such concerns as dignity, freedom, and equality of individuals. As rhetoric, those words are highly persuasive, as operational concepts, they have often proved highly deleterious.
pp. 120 - There would seem to be less and less reason for the Israeli people to bother electing a legislature and executive; the attorney general, with the backing of the Supreme Court, can decide almost everything for them... Democracy is slowly being replaced by oligarchy.

The court's rejection of specifically Jewish values was also evident in its decisions that the importation of nonkosher meat cannot be banned, new communities sited for defensive purposes may not be limited to Jews, and Hareidi youth groups may not be funded by the government as other youth groups are.
pp. 130 - Barak and his court are redefining Israel's values so that, in area after area of Israeli life, the Jewishness of the state matters less and less...According to Barak, when the values
of Israel as a Jewish state cannot be reconciled with its values as a democratic state, the decision must be made according to 'the views of the enlightened community in Israel.'
pp. 131 - In cases where the general public would prefer a value a value specific to Judaism, that public is left without a voice in the ability to govern...realization of the degree to which the public has been disenfranchised and the executive branch emasculated in Israel comes as a shock to most outside observers. The more friendly to Israel such observers are, the greater the dismay.

(IsraelNN.com) In a split decision, a three-judge tribunal of the Supreme Court ruled in principle on Tuesday that the justice minister does not have the option of not signing a pardon signed by the president, according to Maariv/nrg. The ruling requires the government to provide the president with the fullest information possible about any prisoner in question.
The decision was born of disagreement between then-President Moshe Katzav and then-Justice Minister Tzipi Livni about the reduction of a sentence for a convicted murderer, when Katzav overruled Livni's recommendation, based on the convict's behavior in prison. It could be relevant in the release of security prisoners for abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
In his minority opinion, Justice Elyakim Rubinstein said the justice minister's option of not signing was part of the system of checks and balances.
pp. 132 - Israel has set a standard for judicial imperialism that can probably never be surpassed, and, one devoutly hopes, will never be equaled elsewhere. The sad irony is that the Supreme Court, operating with na Basic Law that specifies that Israel's values are both Jewish and democratic, is gradually producing an Israel that is neither Jewish nor democratic.

It also says that Jews in America are scared to death to be noticed as Jews, especially by the authoritiesand the establishment, the power centers. They are terrified that they might incur the disapproval of thenon-Jewish Powers That Be. For all their protestations of their being as American as anyone else, despite the power and influence that Jews wield, they know it isn't true. It could all end in a moment. Rubashkin has done the unforgiveable. He has embarrassed the assimilated Jews in front of the goyim.

With Jonathan Pollard, Caspar Weinberger and James Baker made sure Jews were definitively out of intelligence as anything resembling senior level. Remember the super mole, "Mega"? That was in 1996-1997. I told you I met the real Mega here in Israel. He was trying to find a right wing Israeli politico to buy some secret papers concerning the Oslo process, including secret agreements signed by Shimon Peres, the "black dossier" on Netanyahu, etc. It was a scam from his point of view. He would get to keep the money paid for the secrets. From the State Department's point of view, it was a sting. Jews had looked too prominent and too powerful at the Democratic Party National Convention in 1996 and they were looking for a new Pollard to beat them down with. If they could not find one, they were not above creating one. I won't tell you how we found that out.

The CEO, Bernard Schwartz, was accused of passing secret technology to China. Schwartz was a compulsive record keeper, however, and was able to prove that everything he did was on instructions from President Bill Clinton. If I have your attention, look up the research being done at Johns Hopkins Medical School on what they have determined to be a high rate of bi-polar syndrom among Ashkenazi Jews. Can such people be trusted with billions of dollars of other people's money? The only powerful political people to take a serious view of this are the Kennedys, including Senator Ted and Ahnold, the Governator. John F. Kennedy's only living descendants are from his daughter Carline, whose husband is an Ashkenazi Jew. All of her descendants, meaning all of JFK's descendants after Caroline, will have those Ashkenazi genes. I don't suppose it is an accident that Caroline has become quite an authority in the law of privacy.

We immediately identified with the millions of children who have done no wrong but whose parents' incarceration brings them unending suffering.
Shmuley BoteachIn this spirit, consider the case of Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, the former chief executive of Agriprocessors in Postville, Iowa, who has been denied bail and is being detained pending trial in the Dubuque County jail where his wife can visit him once a week for 25 minutes and communicate only through video conferencing. She is charged with looking after their 10 children on her own, including their 15-year-old autistic son Moishe.
WHAT COULD this rabbi have done that would cause the justice system to be so harsh? To be sure the charges against him are serious, including child labor violations and knowingly employing hundreds of illegal immigrants. But Bernie Madoff allegedly ripped off $50 billion and took scores of Jewish charities to the cleaners, including the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity. Yet he's sitting under house arrest at his $10 million East Side apartment! Rubashkin and his wife Leah long ago surrendered their passports to federal authorities, not to mention the fact that he was previously fitted with a GPS ankle bracelet. So why did the judge deny a multimillion dollar bail package offered for his release, with 32 people offering mortgages on their homes to back the bond?
In his November 20 decision, federal magistrate Jon Stuart Scoles offered the astonishing and disquieting rationale that Rubashkin is a flight risk because "under Israel's Law of Return, any Jew and members of his family who have expressed their desire to settle in Israel will be granted citizenship." Huh? A federal judge designates 5.5 million American Jews as potential flight risks due to Israel's Law of Return, and the Jewish community responds with silence?
It is possible that there are uncharitable motives behind the absence of any Jewish outrage to a ruling with potentially devastating consequences to our community's basic rights. Until he imploded, Bernie Madoff was in a business Jews consider sophisticated and noble, finance. He was a secular Jew who made good on Wall Street and even brought the community pride by becoming chairman of Nasdaq. Rubashkin, by contrast, was essentially a glorified shochet and butcher, the country's largest producer of kosher meat. Rubashkin's beard and black hat were enough to unnerve many Jews. But that his missteps at Agriprocessors highlighted what others consider the unsavory sight of Jewish ritual slaughter all but guaranteed Rubashkin's total abandonment at the hands of American Jewry.
THIS EXPLAINS why, in sharp contrast to what is developing in the kosher meat industry, there has been no move afoot to establish something akin to "Hechsher Tzedek," a rabbinic certificate of ethical excellence, for financial institutions. After all, how is it that when so many of the people going to jail on Wall Street turn out to be Jewish, the Modern Orthodox and Conservative movements have not immediately launched a campaign, as they are doing with kosher meat, to evaluate firms that invest Jewish money to ensure that they conform to the highest ethical norms in terms of treatment of employees and overcompensation of dead-beat executives?
Why is it that only kosher meat is being singled out as being in need of ethical reform? I suggest it is because the Jewish community has an obvious sense of discomfort with ritual observances that the non-Jewish world finds confusing or distasteful rather than the Jewish money machine which, when it works soundly, everyone rather enjoys.
To be sure, Judaism commands the highest ethical treatment of animals, including the commandment to feed one's livestock and pets before oneself. Indeed, the whole purpose of shechita is the severing of an animals' carotid arteries leading to death by asphyxiation so that an animal dies without suffering. I for one applaud many of PETA's goals of ensuring humane treatment of animals, even as I decry some of its more radical means, like their comparison of the slaughter of animals to the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust.
BUT LET'S be honest, the hatred that Jewry feels for Rubashkin cannot be completely divorced from his profession as a giant kosher butcher no more than secular Israelis natural scorn for the bearded settlers can be completely divorced from their view of them as religious fanatics who are obstacles to peace. Consider the fact that Israelis have expressed no strong outrage against former Knesset speaker Avrum Burg who recently published a book, highlighted in The New York Times recently, suggesting that "Israeli Arabs are like German Jews during the Second Reich and that the entire society felt eerily like Germany just before the rise of Hitler." Burg adds that "the Israeli government would probably soon pass the equivalent of the Nuremberg laws, with provisions like a prohibition on marriage between Jews and Arabs."
Now who is more of a fanatic? The settlers, or Burg who equates Israel with Hitler but is largely given a pass because of his essentially secular bearing (diminutive yarmulke notwithstanding).
WHEN I was a teenager at Chabad yeshiva in Los Angeles, my friend Dovid Goldman's sister Leah married a young rabbinical student from a Lubavitch family distinguished for its pedigree and vast philanthropy, including a decades-old soup kitchen in Brooklyn that fed thousands. His name was Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin and there was great chatter in our yeshiva because his wife Leah was a ba'al teshuva (returnee to Judaism). I had never met him but respected him for rejecting some of the sillier ideas inherent in Orthodox courtship, including the fact that those from religious backgrounds do not marry those who are new to Jewish observance.
Those who read my columns know that I can be a sharp critic of this kind of Orthodox excess. Still, I have always been extremely proud of my faith, just as I have encouraged my Christian and Islamic brothers and sisters to be proud of theirs. If Rubashkin is guilty, he will pay a terrible price. But our rejection of him as some kind of fiend before he even goes to trial says more about us than it does about him.

Along with the Presidential Directive for National and Homeland Security of May, 2007 which gives the President full command in times of national crises (dictator power), the Military Commissions Act of October, 2006 eliminates Habeus Corpus (Rule of Law) and gives the President full authority to arrest at will anyone he thinks is an "enemy combatant," which could eventually be any citizen who is not totally submitted to the government.
With Barrack Obama soon to occupy the White House, these signed decrees are laying out the red carpet for socialist-marxist rule in this country, i.e. the New World Order.

For years I have beat the drum to get states to reconstitute the constitutional militia because our very freedom depends on it. The proper role of our military is not to be used against we the people, but to protect and defend against foreign and domestic enemies of this republic. We've all seen the increase by police using tasers for even a minor encounter with law enforcement. The number of deaths continues to grow. We've seen law "enforcement" raids that kill innocent people: November 23, 2007. Kathryn Johnston: "A Year Later. 92-year-old woman's death has done little to curb the use of paramilitary police tactics around the country. "It was one year ago this week that narcotics officers in Atlanta, Georgia broke into the home of 92-year-old Kathryn Johnston. They had earlier arrested a man with a long rap sheet on drug charges. That man told the police officers that they'd find a large stash of cocaine in Johnston's home. When police forced their way into Johnston's home, she met them holding a rusty old revolver, fearing she was about to be robbed. The police opened fire, and killed her." Taking the word of a felon, and without checking to see who lives at that home, the cops go in blazing and gun down an old lady. And, for that you expect we the people to respect you? We've seen raids on the homes of innocent Americans where not only are their inalienable rights stomped on, these jack booted thugs from SWAT teams go out of their way to kill the family dogs; another botched raid, kill the dog first. SHAME on these cops for grabbing a 12-year old girl and terrorizing her and her family. Another "mistake." Earlier this month there was another raid that should have brought maximum outrage by the American people: "On Monday, December 1, a SWAT team with semi-automatic rifles entered the private home of the Stowers family in LaGrange, Ohio, herded the family onto the couches in the living room, and kept guns trained on parents, children, infants and toddlers, from approximately 11 AM to 8 PM. The team was aggressive and belligerent. The children were quite traumatized. At some point, the "bad cop" SWAT team was relieved by another team, a "good cop" team that tried to befriend the family. The Stowers family has run a very large, well-known food cooperative called Manna Storehouse on the western side of the greater Cleveland area for many years." SHAME on law enforcement for these Nazi-style assaults on American families. As I said in a column long ago, men and women who wear a uniform in civilian law enforcement had better remember one thing: One day you will no longer wear that uniform. Is this the kind of tyranny you want to live under when you no longer wear the badge? Do you want your family and freedom assaulted by officers who operate as if the Bill of Rights doesn't exist? Think you will be immune to this kind of tyranny? Think again. Is your paycheck more important than honor and the oath you took? I have repeatedly warned in columns that as more and more Americans become aware of the growing police state and laws that strip us of our God given rights, the closer we get to civil unrest. No one wants it, but when you push a real man's back to the wall, bad things can happen. For those who might have missed those columns, let me give it to you real straight so there's no misunderstanding how bad the situation is becoming.

In past columns, I have directed readers to this link where you will see the headline: 'Our civilian-military face-off' (Sacramento Bee, November 30, 1997): "One startling quote in this article is from Admiral Stanley Arthur, Commander of U.S. naval forces during the Gulf War, where he says, "Today the armed forces are no longer representative of the people they serve. More and more, enlisted as well as officers are beginning to feel they are special, better than the society they serve." "When you turn to page two of this story, the headlines read, "Bill of Rights no obstacle for the Corps." Another disturbing quote jumps out at you, "Because of the rising potential for civil disobedience within the inner cities it is 'inevitable' the U.S. military will be employed more often within American borders." "Further into this shocking story: "...Major Reeves notes, when faced with violating doctrine or violating the law, some Marines chose the latter course and detained suspects and conducted warrant less searches. Indeed, with characteristic Marine Corps bluntness, the major states that, "in interviews with Marine officers involved in domestic peacekeeping missions with officers responsible for articulating the Marine Corps' policy on domestic peacekeeping, it became apparent to the author that Marines took whatever action was necessary. At times, these actions required Marines to violate U.S. law. "Similarly, Marine Capt. Guy Miner reported in the Gazette that Marine intelligence units were initially worried by the need to collect intelligence on U.S. citizens, which would violate a 1981 Executive Order, but that "this inhibition was quickly overcome...." And to chill you even further, "To enable the Marines to execute these new domestic missions in the same way that they do abroad, Major Reeves calls for major alternations in U.S. laws. "Experience from the Los Angeles riots," he warns, "demonstrated the need to grant U.S. Marine forces the legal right to detain vehicles and suspects, conduct arrests, searches and seizures in order to accomplish the peacekeeping mission."

"The announcement follows the controversy surrounding a September 8 Army Times report (revised on September 30), which revealed that the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team, fresh from combat duties in Iraq, would be operating inside America for tasks including "civil unrest and crowd control," a detail that was later denied by Northcom despite the concession that forces would be armed with both non-lethal and lethal weapons as well as having access to tanks."
What was so succinctly and brazenly laid out in the Sacramento Bee in 1997, is now upon us and the situation will continue to get dangerous as the economy worsens.
