Sorcha Faal is a weirdo with respect to her beliefs, but I just check her news highlights.  The italicized wording in her articles comes from legitimate news sources.  She does do a bit a "fear mongering", but that's not to say that what she concludes is outside the realm of possibility.  There are many other trustworthy and documented articles that back up what she reports.  The fact that the elections may be canceled due to an "event" has been discussed for a long time now.  We just don't know what the Jesuit General, the CFR, and the CIA and their affiliates are up to when the final bell rings.  The Obama situation is leading up to a climax which could end in a race war.  The fact that the Supreme Court has backed the Second Ammendment will feed the fury for anarchy as the economic situation worsens, not to mention the fact that many neo-Nazi groups and other radicals will not stand for a Black Muslim president.  This indeed is a bomb ready to explode. 

 

The President signed both the Military Commissions Act of 2006, and the Presidential Directive for Homeland and National Security of 2007, giving him the authority to act without permission of the government during time of "national crises."  These were not signed into law without a purpose.  Something is on the horizon.  To call this a hoax is stretching it a little, since we know the many of the media sources are working hand-in-hand with the Vatican to deny any such claims.  Many have concluded that some false flag event on US soil could very well lead to Marcial Law and the cancelation of the November election.  The Iran situation is also building in its intensity, which causes me to believe that something is about to pop, which could also be the "crisis" that would offset the election. At this point, it is difficult to tell what the NWO big shots have on the drawing board.

 

Sorry that you have to retract the material.  I weigh all the news that I read with the general scenario of reliable sources on the topics discussed.  If something does not line up with the general argument of documented facts, I discard it.  As you know, many sources are way out of line when it comes to personal beliefs, but some do report the facts.  If several sources report the same thing, then they have to be getting their material from reliable news sources.  All of them could not be falling for the same "hoax."

Bush Declares US In 'State Of Emergency" Over Iranian Nuclear Fears

Russian Military Analysts are reporting today that the United States President has declared that his Nation is now in a 'State of Emergency', both militarily and economically, by his signing of an Executive Order, and which we can read in part as reported by the White House News Service:

"By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.) (IEEPA), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) (NEA), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code,

I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, find that the current existence and risk of the proliferation of weapons-usable fissile material on the Korean Peninsula constitute an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States, and I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with that threat."

These reports state that upon North Korea's presenting to the United States the complete dossier on its nuclear weapons programme, and for which President Bush immediately dropped all sanctions and removed them from the American list of countries supporting terrorism, the US Intelligence Community 'shuddered' at the full implication of Iran's involvement in the building of North Korean's nuclear weapons.

Since the establishment of North Korea's large-scale atomic energy research complex in Yongbyon in the 1960's with the help of the Soviets, say these reports, the North Korean's have amassed enough nuclear material in their arsenal for the making of over 200 atomic weapons in the 1-5 kiloton range.  

However, since the conclusion of the Supply Agreement in December, 1995, North Korea utilized their relationship with Pakistan's 'Father of the Atomic Bomb' Abdul Qadeer (AQ) Khan to build a nuclear bomb which they exploded on October 9, 2006 to the 'shock' of the Western Powers.

Most ominously for the West, though, has been the North Koreans detailing in their reports that the financing of the nuclear research leading to their atomic bomb was conducted on behalf of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution, a branch of the Islamic Republic of Iran's military.

Even worse for the Americans, continue these reports, was that Pakistan itself had been funneling billions of US supplied terror funds to assist the Iranians in their efforts to acquire atomic weapons, and which has set the American's on a 'collision course' with the Pakistanis.

According to the United States Government Accountability Office, over $6 billion given to Pakistan by the US since their 'war on terror' was begun in 2001 has been 'lost'.

Pakistan has also refused the demands of the US Congress to be given access to AQ Khan, and as we can read as reported by the Sify News Service: "Pakistan has rejected the demand of US lawmakers for direct access to nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan, saying it alone can probe into allegations that he proliferated the country's nuclear secrets. "We have made it clear, at every level, that no outside authority can interview Dr Khan," a senior official of the foreign office told IANS."

The 'greatest fears' of the Americans have now been realized, said one Top Russian General in these reports, due to Iran now being able to combine the nuclear bombs they now have with the cruise missiles they had previously acquired from Ukraine, and of which we can read as previously reported by the BBC News Service:

"Ukrainian arms dealers smuggled 18 nuclear-capable cruise missiles to Iran and China in 1999-2001, Ukraine's prosecutor-general has said.

The Soviet-era Kh-55 missiles - also known as X-55s - have a maximum range of 2,500km (1,550 miles). They are launched by long-range bombers. Official Ukrainian state bodies were not involved in the sales, the prosecutor-general's office said.

It added that the missiles were not exported with nuclear warheads."

But, to the most concerning element of the American President's declaration of a State of Emergency lies in the extraordinary powers granted to him, and which include his ability to bypass the US Congress to launch immediate attacks upon Iran and any Nation that comes to their defense.

Even more ominously, for the American people, is that under this new State of Emergency, President Bush is able to suspend all civil liberties and institute martial law over his citizens, even to the extent of suspending the upcoming elections should he declare it to be in his Nations best interest.  

It is no wonder that the United Nations has 'warned' that an attack upon Iran by the US and Israel will result in a 'fireball' being ignited in the Middle East, but to the truest reason behind the igniting of Total Global War by the West lies in the words of the Iranian President himself, and who has warned that the astounding rise in oil prices is a 'game' being played upon the citizens of the Western Nations as our World is currently 'saturated' in oil not being used, or shipped.

For the American people to fully understand the truest state of their World, and the catastrophic horrors to come, they only need follow the rise in the price they pay for fuel to see the destruction of their economy is being deliberately manipulated to coincide with shock of war upon their own Homeland.

To the World that will arise in the ashes of this planned destruction they are only now beginning to glimpse…but to little, and much to late for them to stop what is to come.

(IsraelNN.com) American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice hardened her stance on Jewish building in eastern Jerusalem Sunday, charging that construction in the post-1967 areas "does not appear to be part of the legal limits of Jerusalem." The government annexed the areas in a step that the international community does not recognize.

She has concluded a meeting with Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who echoed her earlier statement that the construction is undermining negotiations between the PA and Israel.

Four Presidents of the United States did not think so. They all subscribed to the following language:

"Whereas recognition has been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country.

"The Administration of Palestine ... shall facilitate Jewish immigration ... and shall encourage ... close settlement by Jews on the land, including State lands and waste lands not required for public purposes."

Inbal Hotel Apologizes for Flying PLO Flag

In response to dozens of letters of complaint, the manager of Jerusalem's Inbal Hotel says he feels he had no choice, but he's sorry for flying the flag of the Palestinian Liberation Organization-Palestinian Authority last month.

The flag was flown for two days at the end of May, when the hotel hosted the International Security Forum, chaired by Public Security Minister Avi Dichter of Kadima.  Government representatives from various countries, as well as from the Palestinian Authority, took part, and flags of each participating country - or "political entity," in the case of the PA - waved proudly in the breeze of the hotel. 

News of the enemy flag adorning the popular Jerusalem hotel spread quickly after Arutz-7 blogger Yisrael Medad published a letter by Yonatan Adler informing of the Inbal-PLO flag display.  Various grassroots organizations quickly took up the gauntlet, and letters by citizens expressing extreme concern began arriving at the Inbal Hotel. 

By last week, Inbal's General Manager Rodney Sanders had answered at least a few of them.  His first letters expressed regret that the letter-writers were offended, but by the end of last week, at least one writer received a straight-out apology. 

Sanders wrote, "I, too, felt uncomfortable when asked, even by the Israeli government, to fly the colors of the Palestinian Authority at the hotel... We were instructed by the Israel Ministry of Public Security and the organizing committee to fly the flags of all those participating in the conference, including that of the Palestinian Authority."

Sanders explained that Minister Dichter "chose the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel to be the venue for the International Security Forum, a conference on 'Challenges to Homeland Security,' of which MK Avi Dicter was the chairman.  US Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertkoff and a dozen other internal security ministers from Europe and beyond were invited and Minister Dicter also invited the Palestinian Minister of Interior."

"While not meaning to add to anybody's distress," Sanders continued, "I think it important for me to mention that other prominent hotels are often asked by the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host Israel-Palestinian negotiating sessions. Sometimes this also involves flags."

Apology
"I would like to apologize for placing the flag on the building," Sanders then wrote, adding, "I have now since learnt how sensitive this issue is to the feelings of our nation and our people, but I believe I had no choice but to follow the request of the Ministry."

Response
Susie Dym, spokesperson of the Cities of Israel grassroots organization, commented afterwards, "Our activists feel that the people of the Inbal Hotel must be proud Israelis with a strong backbone.  If the manager of the hotel had acted so, Minister Dichter of Kadima would have learned how to straighten the national back, and the peace negotiations would have gained greatly from this. We will not respect a hotel that does not know how to respect itself and its country."

Some activists say the campaign should be pursued by faxing protests to Minister Dichter, at 02 (9722, from outside Israel) 542-8039.

This is where you are wrong. You DID have a choice.You could easily have said "No" to Mr Dicter's request.

You could have said:

" I am sorry Mr Dichter. The Inbal Hotel has a policy of not flying the flag of Arab terrorists whose platform is: Murder Jews and destroy the State of Israel. In fact, we here at the Inbal Hotel would like to understand how you Mr. Dichter invite  the Palestinian Authority at a conference which title is : "Challenges to Homeland Security" when our homeland security is exactly  being challenged by those PLO terrorists!

We at the Inbal Hotel are loyal to the people of Israel and to the Land of Israel. We refuse to insult and hurt the feelings of thousands of victims of Arab terror in Israel and abroad and hence the Inbal refuses not only to fly the PLO flag but we refuse to host your conference."

You could have said all that. But you didn't.

Sadly you chose to "obey the orders".

The time has come for all Jews to understand that no orders are holy. The fact that a Prime Minister or a minister or a policeman  or a IDF officer gives us an order, does not mean that we immediately must obey. We must think twice before executing the order and ask ourselves: is this an order that I, as a Jew, loyal to my People and my Land, should carry out.

we assume Mr Sanders that if some extreme leftist minister would have asked you to serve pork in your hotel, you would have refused. So why did you not refuse to fly the PLO flag?

People who blindly follow orders are punished by the people for their disloyalty.That is what is happening now at the Inbal where so many people have cancelled their stay.

Let this be a lesson to all the minor officials everywhere in the country, in the government, in the army, in business....: the sentence "I believe I had no choice" is a sentence that must be erased from our vocabulary.

How long did it take Islam and their oil money to find a candidate
for President of the United States? As long as it took them to
place a Senator from Illinois and Minnesota? The same amount of
time to create a large Muslim enclave in Detroit? The time it took
them to build over 2,000 mosques in America? The same amount of
time required to place radical wahabbist clerics in our military
and prisons as 'chaplains'?

Find a candidate who can get away with lying about their father
being a 'freedom fighter' when he was actually part of the most
corrupt and violent government in Kenya's history. Find a candidate
with close ties to The Nation of Islam and the violent Muslim
overthrow in Africa, a candidate who is educated among white
infidel Americans but hides his bitterness and anger behind a
superficial toothy smile. Find a candidate who changes his American
name of Barry to the Muslim name of Barak Hussein Obama, and dares
anyone to question his true ties under the banner of 'racism'.
Nurture this candidate in an atmosphere of anti-white American
teaching and surround him with Islamic teachers. Provide him with a
bitter, racist, anti-white, anti-American wife, and supply him with
Muslim middle east connections and Islamic monies. Allow him to be
clever enough to get away with his anti-white rhetoric and proclaim
he will give $834 billion taxpayer dollars to th e Muslim
controlled United Nations for use in Africa.

Install your candidate in an atmosphere of deception because
questioning him on any issue involving Africa or Islam would be
seen as 'bigoted racism'; two words too powerful to allow the
citizenry to be informed of facts. Allow your candidate to employ
several black racist Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan followers as
members of his Illinois Senatorial and campaign staffs.

Where is the bloodhound American 'free press' who doggedly
overturned every stone in the Watergate case? Where are our
nation's reporters that have placed every Presidential candidate
under the microscope of detailed scrutiny; the same press who
pursue Bush's 'Skull and Bones' club or ran other candidates off
with persistent detective and research work? Why haven't 'newsmen'
pursued the 65 blatant lies told by this candidate during the
Presidential primaries? Where are the stories about this
candidate's cousin and the Muslim butchery in Africa? Since when
did our national press corps become weak, timid, and silent? Why
haven't they regaled us with the long list of socialists and
communists who have surround  this 'out of nowhere' Democrat
candidate or that his church re-printed the Hamas Manifesto in
their bulletin, and that his 'close pastor friend and mentor' met
with Middle East terrorist Moammar Gaddafi, (Guide of the First of
September Great Revolution of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab
Jamahiriya)? Why isn't the American press telling us this candidate
is supported by every Muslim organization in the world?

As an ultimate slap in the face, be blatant in the fact your
candidate has ZERO interest in traditional American values and has
the most liberal voting record in U.S. Senate history. Why has the
American main stream media clammed-up on any negative report ing on
Barak Hussein Obama? Why will they print Hillary Rodham Clinton's
name but never write his middle name? Is it not his name?

Why, suddenly, is ANY information about this candidate not coming
from main stream media, but from the blogosphere by citizens
seeking facts and the truth? Why isn't our media connecting the
dots with Islam? Why do they focus on 'those bad American soldiers'
while Islam slaughters non Muslims daily in 44 countries around the
globe? Why does our media refer to Darfur as 'ethnic cleansing'
instead of what it really is; Muslims killing non Muslims! There is
enough strange, anti-American activity surrounding Barak Hussein
Obama to pique the curiosity of any reporter. WHERE IS OUR INVESTIGATIVE
MEDIA!?

A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after
the Iranian revolution in 1982. The plan was summarized in a 1991
memorandum by Mohamed Akram, an operative of the global Muslim
Brotherhood. 'The process of settlement' of Muslims in America,
Akram explained, 'is a civilization jihad process.' This means that
members of the Brotherhood must understand that their work in
'America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the
Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house
by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is
eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.'

There is terrorism we can see, smell and fear, but there is a new
kind of terror invading The United States in the form of Sharia law
and finance. Condoning it is civilization suicide. Middle East
Muslims are coming to America in record number s and building hate
infidel mosques, buying our corporations, suing us for our
tradit ions, but they and the whole subject of Islam is white noise
leaving uninformed Americans about who and what is really peaceful.
Where is our investigative press?

Any criticism of Islam or their intentions, even though Islamic
leaders state their intentions daily around the globe, brings-forth
a volley of 'racist' from the left-wing Democrat crowd.
Lies and deception behind a master plan - the in gredients for 'The
Manchurian Candidate' or the placement of an anti-American 
President in our nation's White House? Is it mere coincidence that
an anti-capitalist run for President at the same time Islamic
sharia finance and law is trying to make advancing strides into the
United States? Is it mere coincidence this same candidate wants to
dis-arm our nuclear capability at a time when terrorist Muslim
nations are expanding their nuclear weapons capability?

Is it mere coincidence this candidate wants to reduce our military at a time of global jihad from Muslim nations?

Change for America? What change? To become another 'nation of Islam'?  Is mainstream America now so liberal that we can't think?  We, as a country, must wake up!

Ofra Rabbi Oks Arabs To Build Jewish Homes on Sabbath

(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Avi Gisser of the community of Ofra, north of Jerusalem, has ruled that Arab workers may work on the Sabbath to build homes for Jews because of the possibility of a High Court halt to construction. Left wing groups have appealed to the court to halt building of nine homes in Ofra, claiming that the land belongs to Arabs.

Jewish law prohibits working on the Sabbath except in special cases or if lives would be put at risk by not working. Non-Jewish workers may work on the Sabbath, but Jews generally may not tell them to do so on their behalf. In this case, Rabbi Gisser explained that the commandment to settle all of Israel overrides the prohibition.
 
However, other rabbis differ from his decision and say that preservation of the Shabbat is the most important consideration if there is not a direct threat to life.

UN Resolution Banning Construction in Judea, Samaria

(IsraelNN.com) The Arab League and Saudi Arabia have proposed a resolution in the United Nations Security Council banning Israeli construction in Judea and Samaria. The US is expected to veto the resolution, which is likely to be approved next week.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon last week slammed a decision by Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim to issue a tender for construction of 300 new housing units in Jerusalem, which he called "not helpful."

Dear Sir/Madam,   I am responding to your note of concern regarding reports of "PLO flags" displayed at our hotel during the last two days of May.   Firstly, let me say directly that I am very sensitive to the concerns of our guests, and that I, too, felt uncomfortable when asked, even by the Israeli government, to fly the colors of the Palestinian Authority at the hotel.   But that is exactly what happened. The Israel Minister of Public Security Avi Dicter chose the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel to be the venue for the International Security Forum, a conference on "Challenges to Homeland Security", of which MK Avi Dicter was the chairman.   US Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertkoff and a dozen other internal security ministers from Europe and beyond were invited and Minister Dicter also invited the Palestinian Minister of Interior.   We were instructed by the Israel Ministry of Public Security and the organizing committee to fly the flags of all those participating in the conference, including that of the Palestinian Authority.   While not meaning to add to anybody's distress, I think it important for me to mention that other prominent hotels are often asked by the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host Israel-Palestinian negotiating sessions. Sometimes this also involves flags.   I can assure you that I, as the General Manager of the hotel had no intent of making a political statement and have no desire of doing so in the future.   I would like to apologize for placing the flag on the building. The keffiyeh, the checkered scarf worn by former Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Yasser Arafat, has caused a second uproar in two weeks by its appearance as an Australian fashion item. Australian newspapers said Jewish community leaders have played down the debate on whether the keffiyeh is a fashion item or incitement for Jihad, the Arabic word for a holy war against Israel.

Last week, the American-based Dunkin' Donuts chain yanked a commercial that was criticized for showing a television celebrity chef wearing the Arab headdress. "Most people would be unaware of its connotation for Muslims and Jews, and it's therefore, clearly being worn as a fashion item," Jewish leader Vic Alhadeff told the Australian Jewish News. Others criticized a Jewish-owned clothing label for promoting the keffiyeh and "ignoring such community standards and societal norms, by blatantly advertising these keffiyehs--symbols of the Arab terrorist movements."

The Dunkin' Donut advertisement showed celebrity chef Rachael Ray with the checkered scarf, but conservative columnist Michelle Malkin wrote that the scarf is a symbol of terrorism. 

Whether incitement or fashion, the publicity serves as a warning to marketers. "The Dunkin' Donuts dust-up means that marketers now have to start looking more closely at what nonverbal messages their ads convey via design and fashion," the Wall Street Journal wrote Wednesday, quoting Cliff Medney, a marketing officer.

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to 'the reasonable' Muslim demands for their 'religious rights,' they also get the other components under the table.

 -  1% - 2% Muslim.  As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. 

 In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:
       Examples:  United States -- Muslim 1.0%, Australia -- Muslim 1.5%, Canada -- Muslim 1.9%,  China -- Muslim 1%-2%,   Italy -- Muslim 1.5%,   Norway -- Muslim 1.8%
 
 - At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:
     Examples:   Denmark -- Muslim 2%,   Germany -- Muslim 3.7%,  United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%,  Spain -- Muslim 4%,  Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%
 
 - From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. 

They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims.

 They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. (United States).
        Examples:  France -- Muslim 8%,  Philippines -- Muslim 5%,  Sweden -- Muslim 5%,  Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%,  The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%,  Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%
 
At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law.

The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
 
  - When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris -- car-burnings).

 Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam - - Mohamed cartoons).
         Examples:  Guyana -- Muslim 10%,  India -- Muslim 13.4%,  Israel -- Muslim 16%,  Kenya -- Muslim 10%,  Russia -- Muslim 10-15%
 
  - After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
       Example:  Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%
 
  - At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:
        Examples:  Bosnia -- Muslim 40%,  Chad -- Muslim 53.1%,  Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%
 
  -  From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:

Al Jazeera Host Fumbles Jerusalem. Quotes Quran But Can't Find it!

Most muslims - even educated, top-rated journalists - believe that Jerusalem is mentioned

in the Qur'an.  But it isn't, not even once.  In fact, an Egyptian newspaper published a

column a few years ago, stating that islam had no connection with nor claim to Jerusalem.

(Wonder why it hasn't been reprinted very often.)  But of course, as every good student of

political islam knows, once any land has been subject to islamic rule or presence, it

becomes forever islamic.  This includes greater Andalusia (al-andalus; the Iberian peninsula)

and, I would imagine, parts of London, Paris, Detroit, and Brooklyn.

JERUSALEM AND AL-JAZEERA'S PATIENCE

Dr. Keidar of university Arab studies department tests Qatari network's patience by saying during televised interview, "Jerusalem not mentioned in Qur`an"

It can be assumed that Al-Jazeera's top journalist Jamal Rayyan will not soon forget this year's Jerusalem Day, which was celebrated this week.

Following reports of Israel's intentions to construct housing units in areas located beyond the Green Line (1967 borders), the Qatari news agency decided to hold an interview with Dr. Mordechai Keidar, a lecturer from Bar Ilan University's Department of Arabic Studies. The interview - in Arabic - can be seen in full on youtube.

Rayyan opened with the question, "Mr. Mordechai, is this decision meant to constitute another nail in the coffin of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations?"

The journalist appeared taken aback when Keidar answered, "To tell you the truth I don't quite understand this. Must Israel ask permission from some other authority in the world? It has been our capital for 3,000 years. We have been there since the time your forefathers used to drink wine, bury their daughters alive, and pray to multiple gods."

Keidar was referring to a period Arabs call jahiliyyah (ignorance of divine guidance), which prevailed in the Arab world before the time of the Islam. "So then," he continued, "why must we speak about this? It has been our city for 3,000 years and will be for eternity."

Jerusalem is ours for eternity

The stunned Rayyan refused to give up. "Excuse me Mr. Mordechai! If you would like to speak about history let's talk about the Qur`an as well. You cannot deny the existence of Jerusalem in the Qur`an! I ask you to refrain from making statements that offend Arabs and Muslims. Let's please stay with our topic," he said.

"Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Qur`an," Keidar said.

Rayyan stated the verse that, according to Muslim belief, refers to (some distant place which some muslims claim is) Jerusalem, but Keidar continued to object. "Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Qur`an even once."

Rayyan continued: "Let's talk politics, please. Doesn't this decision oppose the Road Map, which determines that Israel will halt construction of the settlements in Jerusalem?"

"The Road Map does not mention Jerusalem," Keidar argued "Jerusalem is outside of negotiations. Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, Period! We cannot discuss Jerusalem in any way. You return to this issue time and again, but Jerusalem is not referred to in the Road Map. My brother, go and read the Road Map."

"At this rate Jerusalem will soon include all of the West Bank," Rayyan countered.

"My brother, Israel does not involve itself in housing that Qatar constructs in the Qatar Peninsula," Keidar answered. "What do you want with Jerusalem? Jerusalem is ours for eternity and no one, not Al-Jazeera or anyone else, has any say in it. Jerusalem is solely a Jewish city and no one else has any connection to it."

The interview went on for a few more minutes, after which Rayyan parted from Keidar without thanking him. It is interesting to point out that Al-Jazeera's slogan is "The one opinion, and the other opinion." It seems this slogan has never been put to such a test.

Rivka Meirchik, 29, from Kiryat Ata near Haifa, was arrested during one of the violent evictions of the Shvut Ami outpost in Samaria over two months ago.  She, like others before her, has refused to recognize the authority of a Jewish court system in the Land of Israel that refuses to recognize Jewish rights to the Land.  She therefore has not posted a bond guaranteeing her presence at future court sessions, nor has she cooperated in any way with the legal system. 

The courts have responded in kind, refusing to release her from prison - and refusing even to set future court dates.  She is being held in solitary confinement until the end of the judicial proceedings, and has been denied visitation and phone rights.

Judge Shashua Returns Meirchik to Prison
Her most recent court experiences were Monday and Thursday of last week. She was brought before a judge on Monday, and the defense and prosecution presented their arguments regarding her continued incarceration.  On Thursday, Judge  Nitza Maimon Shashua of the Kfar Saba Magistrates Court announced her decision over the course of less than a minute, sending Meirchik back to prison without announcing the next court date.  Her attorney Aviad Visouly told Arutz-7, "This trial could have been over a long time ago; they are simply stalling and dragging it out."

No formal charges have been filed against the quiet female inmate, who appeared "emaciated," observers said.  She suffers from severe food allergies, and in fact only eats fruit in prison. Prison guard Orit Hasidi told IsraelJustice.com, "We don't have, here in the prison, the other foods that she eats."

Appeals Filed
Attorney Visouly said he plans to file an appeal on Tuesday in the Petach Tikvah District Court.  "The evidence simply is not sufficient to justify keeping her in prison," Visouly told Arutz-7, "based on the necessary standards in criminal trials.  In addition, the court is simply violating the law by refusing to bring her to court every 48 hours." 

Visouly said he filed an appeal on this matter in the Supreme Court last week, "one that was much more severe - yet there too, the Court simply ignored it. I filed a habeas corpus suit, meaning that [Meirchik] is being held in prison illegally - because the courts are not fulfilling the law requiring them to have her brought to court every 48 hours."  Visouly's position is that the "every 48-hour" clause applies even when the defendant has been remanded until the end of the legal proceedings.

"Because this is a habeas corpus case," Visouly said, "they should have heard the case immediately - but instead, the Supreme Court is just ignoring the law. There has been no response at all, nothing."

Meirchik is following the pattern set by previous arrestees in the struggle for the Land of Israel - most notably mother-of-ten Esther Ettie Medad, whose husband Shmuel Zangy Medad heads the Honenu Legal Rights Organization; she spent 25 days in prison in 2005.  In addition, teenager Tzviya Sariel spent nearly four months in prison this year, and several ulpana yeshiva high school girls were imprisoned for a month earlier this year.  All were arrested while engaging in pro-Land of Israel activities.

None of the above gave in, and as Shmuel Medad of Honeny told Arutz-7, they were ultimately freed from prison after their cases were widely publicized.

Subject: PLO Flags at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Inbal Hotel and... the Palestine Liberation Organization?!?!

Last Friday, as I drove by the Inbal hotel in Jerusalem on my way home from Friday errands, I noticed a number of large banner-flags hanging along the facade of the Inbal. There were flags from various countries - the United States, England, Germany, Spain, and... Palestine!!

I couldn't believe what I was looking at - a huge PLO flag draped on the front of the Inbal hotel in the heart of Jerusalem!

When I arrived home, I immediately called the Inbal hotel to ask why they had a PLO flag draped across the front of their hotel. The answer that I received was that the hotel was hosting a conference, and that the organizers had requested that the PLO flag be displayed together with the national flags of various countries.

I promptly returned to the hotel in order to meet with the general-manager of the Inbal, Mr. Rodney Sanders to inquire why an Israeli hotel in the heart of Jerusalem would think to fly a huge PLO banner. Mr. Sanders presented the same laconic reply as I had received on the phone.

Upon leaving the hotel, I found more PLO flags displayed in the lobby, which I photographed (see attached photo - please note the Inbal insignia in the background).

At this point, the security in the lobby quickly escorted me outside, and I was unable to photograph the banner outside.

Israel's Water Problems

(IsraelNN.com) Binyamin Ben Eliezer, a not terribly bright politician, has offered various solutions for what is likely to be a water crisis for a long time to come. He wants to build more water desalination plants, apparently to offset his party's famous plans to abandon the Golan Heights, one of Israel's principal water sources.

But Ben Eliezer may not have taken into account the raw sewage sabotage that the Palestinians are implementing by letting untreated sewage run into the sea from Gaza. The prevailing currents push the sewage north, contaminating Israel's coastal areas where more than 70% of Israel's population and Israel's main industrial base in centered.

Once the contamination levels of human feces and chemicals reach a certain level of density (PPM = Parts Per Million), any desalination plant will be closed down. Their filter membranes would clog and the disease-laden water would simply flow through. One doesn't expect Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert or his leftist party coalition (Kadima, Labor and Meretz) to do anything to stop the sewage flow.

Then there is the matter of gifting Jordan with millions of cubic meters of water as Israel's most famous singular gesture of good will. Israeli leadership is full of such "gestures" - among other foul-smelling substances.

Permanent Drought

Israel's so-called "leadership" is gesturing away the Jewish nation into a permanent, ever worsening state of drought. Have you ever spoken to so-called Israeli "leaders?" Outside of dirty politics, at which they are superb, in practical matters they are dumb as a collective stump.

Water futures? "Not to worry." Pollution? "Not to worry." Terrorist growth? "Not to worry." Loss of the water protected from Israel's Golan Heights? "Not to worry." Loss of the aquifers under the Israeli mountains of Judea and Samaria? "Not to worry." Sewage contamination? "Not to worry."

Why worry when the members of our esteemed parliament have plenty of food and filtered water in the Knesset dining room? Reality simply doesn't enter those rooms the lazy, craven leftist Knesset members think are hallowed.

What to do?

First: Cut off water and fuel supplies to Gaza until they build sewage treatment plants sufficiently large enough to treat sewage to the highest level technology allows.

Get rid of incompetent leaders and make them take educational tests to determine if they are fit to hold any post in government (like the psychometric tests Israeli students must take to attend university).

Start building more desalination plants - which should have started 20 years ago.

Cut the water being delivered free to Jordan.

Dig a channel from the Haifa area down to the Jordan Valley. This channel is to parallel the Jordan River and NOT mix salt water with fresh water. (Note! I offered such a water plan to Israel more than 25 years ago - which contemplated hydroelectric power, desalination plants, modification of the moisture content in the Jordan Valley for improved crops' production and sea water lakes for recreation and fishing.

No Vision

But, there were people then in power - like Ben Eliezer - who simply had zero vision and an inability to process information. As they say, those chickens have come home to roost.

Drought is endemic in the Middle East. Biblical records speak of 7 year droughts - as in Egypt - but, in fact, droughts of 50 to 100 years have been recorded in core borings of land. However, when you are a politician, you talk about solutions (to raise your public image) but do nothing to implement them or something too little to be effective.

Experts in hydrology, water conservation and recycling of waste water have been alerting successive governments about serious water shortages, pollution and contamination for years but they have been ignored.

How can you expect politicians who have never worked a day in their lives to deal with down-to-earth critical, issues like water, national security, resettling the 10,000 Jewish men, women and children they uprooted, etc. when they could not even run a small vegetable stand in Machane Yehuda (the local outdoor market)? This is not a trivial matter, given that droughts can last 50 or more years across the Africa/Asian Middle East, much of which is in an advanced stage of desertification. This is before the forecast effects of climate change due to measurable global warming.

Israel desperately needs a highly intelligent government of problem solvers. She cannot survive on government "leaders" whose first morning thought is how to stay in power.

THE NATIONS ARE GATHERING #8

I recall reading Tanach (Torah, Prophets, Writings) about the prophecies that speak of the nations gathering against the Jews - at which time HaShem would wipe them all out. It has to be at least 50 years since I first thought about that passage as a serious matter that could now be imminent. Since that time I have always been mindful of that promise and, as events transpire, I add them to my mental list. I have written and published 7 articles entitled: "THE GATHERING OF NATIONS" which outline adversarial assaults by the world's nations against Israel.

I feel we are close to the prophecies going critical - just as a nuclear core reaches a critical mass before a nuclear plant explodes. The Ishmaelites (Arabs, Islamists, Jihadists, Muslims) who have ramped up Terrorism, are passing past their threshold of rage by means of Terrorism and then they proceed onward into war. Their mixture of a pagan religion, machismo and the excessive wealth they extorted from all of us for the earth's  oil under their countries is lethal. Tied together, this gives them a sense of power, invincibility and purpose, namely, to rule the world by Sharia laws under Islam.

First, they feel they must challenge and destroy Israel - along with her Jews. This will confirm Allah's superiority over the G-d of the Jews. Then they will expand their war against the Christians and their lord who was a Jew.

As oil users, the nations in the continents of Europe, America, Asia have, in the main, fallen into line to demands of the Arab Bloc, leading to the West's subsequent subservient appeasement policies. They have adopted the hatred of the Muslims for the Jews as a gesture of business friendliness. However, once you carry water (dirty water) for a people or nation with certain hostilities and prejudices, you begin to adopt their attitudes.

This is happening around the globe as oil become almost unaffordable. (Some in Africa call oil "the Devil's excrement".) The nations who are suffering have to placate their own populations for fuel and food shortages - as well as exorbitant prices for both. Frustrated people who are in dire economic straits or even when starving, can easily be directed against other people as a source of their pain. There's no logic when you're starving. Riots are breaking out in different nations as famines, wars, droughts, ethnic cleansings continue and grow.

But, there is more.

Global climate change is causing parts of our planet either severe long term drought leading to famine, or deluge of rains which flood the fields so crops cannot be grown.  If the ice continues to melt, we shall have flooded cities and shrunken land mass.  It's not just the polar bears who are threatened.

Let us look forward into the immediate future. Our planet is going through some sort of re-adjustment. The earth's tectonic plates are shifting, causing small to massive earthquakes and volcanoes erupting - leading to violent weather. The earth is over-crowded with 6.5 billion people who have built over the earth's tectonic fault lines, with cities too easily toppled. We watch on TV the total displacement of millions of homeless humans suffering starvation, disease and death.

"We are now firmly ensconced in the Age of Extreme Weather" according to the May 31^st New York Times Editorial by Charles M. Blow "Farewell, Fair Weather". According to the Center for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters, this Earth has had 4 times as many weather-related disasters in the last 30 years than in the previous 75 years. The United States has experienced more of those disasters than any other country. (1)

People are rightfully angry, hysterical and desperate to blame someone.

We humans may not have the sensitivities of animals, birds and fish who sense coming earthquakes and tsunamis shortly before their occurrence but, we do pick up some of the signals. What do humans do when the earth's molten core is agitated? When humans suffer undefined agitation, they riot; they start wars; they look for someone to blame for their pain. For decades, the Jews served as their lighting rod to relieve their frustration and rage.

This is happening now and, indeed, the nations are gathering to assault the tiny nation of Israel as a cure for their pain. Naturally, the more primitive they are on the scale of civilization, the quicker are to go to war. Enter the Ishmaelites, Arabs, Muslims, Islamists (Muslims who war for Islam) or whatever name suits your thoughts.

The questions are: Will they go to war first? Or will their cities be leveled by massive earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones, tornadoes, floods, tsunamis, volcanoes which come alive to spew ash and darken the skies for a year or two so nothing can grow? Or will they suffer crippling drought, famine and devastating forest fires? By the way, hurricane season began on June 1^st.

Israel's dedicated enemies must go through several phases to achieve their goals.

They must enlist the people - particularly those in pain. Hitler and his advisors understood this very well. Because of extensive financial depression in Germany, Hitler redirected his peoples' anger toward the Jews. This tactic worked as ordinary Germans and other Europeans joined the Nazi killing machine with enthusiasm.

How will it work this time? As before, there will be a great effort to recruit Christian organizations to join the Ishmaelites. This is already happening where the twisted logic of Islam is being fed into Church organizations, telling them Islam is not a Terrorist religion and is only killing globally because Jews and the Jewish State are falsely claiming that the Jews have returned to the Land given to the Jewish people in perpetuity.

Recruiting academic Leftist intellectuals to rationalize hatred for the Jewish State and Jewish people was not difficult. Strangely, leading the pack attacking Jews are Jewish academics who despise the idea of their being Jewish and having to follow Torah law - which they equally despise. Recruiting such Jews who hate the ground that Israel sits on is key for the radical Ishmaelites and their radical followers.

Jews called Leftists are important because they are a volunteer "Fifth Column", working from the inside in Israel and in the Diaspora to push the nation of Israel into extinction. Such Jews have been with us from the time Moses took the Hebrews out of Egypt. They were called the "Erev Rav" who hated the restrictive laws that G-d gave the Jews to govern human behavior even before receiving G-d's Ten Commandments and Torah Law. These Jews carry the hatred of their own people and bond with the Ishmaelites in their hatred for the truly observant Jewish people.

Therefore, in order to extinguish the "Light Unto the Nations", the radical Islamists must recruit the nations, Leftist Jews, hostile Christians to gather and wipe out the Jewish nation as so often and vehemently expressed by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran. (Note! In this description, I do not include Christian Zionists who believe in the Jewish State as fulfilling G-d's Promise to the Jewish people.)

It is well known that today's Jewish leaders in Israel are weak, have no belief either in themselves or the Land gifted by a G-d in Whom they do not believe. They believe the radical Ishmaelites can be appeased and they offer pieces of the Land to assuage the Muslims' anger. When it doesn't work, as Olso I and 2 and Wye failed, they believed their "gifts" were insufficient and so they plan to surrender even more.

Surely, they think, there must be a level of gifting where the Ishmaelites will finally be satisfied. They also hope that IF the Jews can satisfy the radical Islamists, the nations of Europe, America and the West will also ease up and no longer have to be a target of Arab Muslim anger. Of course, none of this will happen.  The weak Jewish leaders are ignoring the nature of the radical Muslims visceral hate for and goal to eliminate "first the Saturday people, and then the Sunday people".

As predicted, inevitably, a clash of civilizations and nations will go against Israel and their G-d - HaShem. Much as Pharaoh was moved step-by-step toward his own destruction so, too, will the nations ratchet up their hostilities to a final confrontation and, sadly, be destroyed.

Jews search for underlying reasons for such rage and hatred. The answer has always been there but, it's an answer that cannot be undone. The Jews accepted a mission and obligation to carry a message to earth's people that there are universal or cosmological rules given to the Jewish people by G-d. The message of restraint as in the 10 Commandments and the 613 rules of conduct in Torah Law were hated by humanity. Humans do not wish to be restrained or to carry guilt for all the rules Torah Law teaches.

Even when modified by new religions, these laws kept man from doing what his nature drove him to do or want to do. Who brought such laws to humanity? The Jews brought Torah Laws from a G-d the nations did really not want. They could not confront or bargain with a G-d they could not talk to so they assaulted the next best targets...His messengers, the Jews. Killing Jews became a global sport - although part of what the messengers brought was blended into the three Monotheistic religions.

Jews cannot retract the message because it now floats in the ether. In the warped thinking of the nations, their solution is to get rid of the messengers and burn the Torah scrolls.   The ancient laws would simply vanish with the extinction of the Jewish people. Then, they would have to find this irritating G-d, put their own demands in front of Him or banish Him to the furthest reaches of the cosmos.

But first, they must find Him.

This is another example of "rule of law" in Israel. The people who wax most sanctimonious over it are the ones who have no understanding of the concept at all. If the judges are not bound to obey the law, how can they demand that citizens respect and obey it? "Do as I say and not as I do" is no basis for anything pretending to be a legal system. It says, quite simply, "Sure I believe in the rule of law. And I am the law."{

Olmert Says Farewell to Bush, Vows To Remain in Office

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is en route to Tel Aviv after ending his three-day visit to the United States with a phone call to Kadima supporters. He told them he "will rule the country for a very, very long time." 

He wrapped up his three-visit with another threat that Israel is closer than ever towards staging a full-scale counterterrorist operation in Gaza. Egyptian peace efforts "are not ripening in a way that can bring a cease-fire," he told reporters in Washington.

One-Minute Hearing Sends Woman Nationalist Back to Jail

(IsraelNN.com) A Kfar Saba judge held a hearing of less than one minute before ordering a 29-year-old woman nationalist back to jail, where she has been held for two months without charges. Attorney Aviad Visoly said he will appeal what he called "a mockery of the law" by the judge, Nitza Maimon Shashua. She accepted police evidence against Meirchik but refused to hear defense arguments.

Visoly said that the judge also is not abiding by the court's decision to bring the woman before the court at least once every 48 hours. Judge Shashua did not schedule another hearing for Meirchik, who was shackled in leg irons for her court hearing.

She was arrested April 2 in Shvut Ami near Kedumim for allegedly assaulting a police officer. She maintains that she was beaten by police but refuses to recognize the authority of the court to try her.

Talansky Charged with Assaulting Dentist

(IsraelNN.com) Moshe (Morris) Talansky, the financier who is suspected of giving Prime Minister Ehud Olmert cash envelopes, is due to appear in court in New York on Tuesday because of a fight with his dentist, Jpost reported.

Talanksy's dentist, Leonard Barashick, 84, said the 75-year-old Talansky slammed him in a heavy steel chair and threw him against a wall with a fist as big as a "kosher ham". Police arrested Talansky last July and charged him with third-degree assault.

Deere acquires Israeli irrigation company

Deere & Co. has completed the acquisition of Plastro Irrigation Systems Ltd., headquartered in Israel, positioning the Moline manufacturer as the world's third largest agricultural irrigation company.

In a news release issued this morning, Deere said it will combine Plastro with its growing John Deere Water Technologies operations. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The announcement comes on the heels of Deere's acquisition of T-Systems International Inc., a San Diego, Calif.-based manufacturer of agricultural, nursery, landscape, mining and greenhouse irrigation equipment.

"This sale demonstrates that we have been on the right course in our continuing effort to create value as a company," Plastro Chairman Yonatan Bassi said in the release.

Plastro was established in Israel in 1966 and is a leading provider of irrigation system components including peripheral equipment; agro-technical consultation; design and planning; installation assistance; and training.

"Precision irrigation will help the world meet its demand for increased productivity from agriculture," said Michael McGrady, the president of John Deere Water Technologies. "The world's population growth, demand for improved nutrition globally, and increased interest in renewable fuels all require much more precision in the management of the world's fresh water and arable land."

John Deere Water Technologies, headquartered in San Marcos, Calif., produces plastic micro and drip irrigation products for the agricultural, nursery, landscape, and greenhouse markets. It was founded in June, 2006, with Deere's acquisition of Roberts Irrigation Products, Inc.

I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about "whitey" describe it as "STUNNING." I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright's Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.

Barack may have quit his church but his religious problems are not over. Barack Obama has a Nation of Islam problem that will receive more attention in the coming days. Before Barack came on the scene, THE MAN in his political district was Louis Farrakhan. No one could take Alice Palmer's seat without Farrakhan's blessing. No one. I do not fault Barack Obama for seeking out the blessing of Farrakhan, but the story of what was done behind the scenes to get rid of Barack's predecessor—Alice Palmer—has not been told. A knowledgeable source tells me that Tony Rezko played a direct role in this feat. And Rezko has been tight with Farrakhan.

It also should come as no surprise that Barack hired two members of the Nation of Islam to work on his staff—Jennifer Mason and Cynthia K. Miller (And no, I am not merely recycling info initially reported by Debbie Schlussel. I have two independent Chicago sources for this info.) If Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger had kept their yaps buttoned none of this would mean much. But the fact that both men have been—until scrubbed from the website in recent weeks—listed as spiritual advisors to Barack Obama and also are very close to Louis Farrakhan, forces the question about Barack's faith and beliefs.

In probing those matters we begin to understand that the Nation of Islam has been a critical component of Barack Obama's base of support. And, I am told, Louis Farrakhan has been careful to use Tony Rezko as the intermediary in his relationship with Barack. This is not guilt by association, this is guilt because of actual relationship. Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.

NONSENSE!! He knew and he knows. And the gig will be up when the Michelle tape hits the airwaves. One source described how this tape was acquired. Let's just say that one of the republican candidates who is no longer in the race, but had a dandy oppo research capability, uncovered this gem. If Republican poohbahs have their way the tape will remain on ice until October. But when it comes out, Barack will be permanently branded with the Nation of Islam. That's not a winning platform in November. And Barack's bundlers understand this threat. I also have learned some major financial backers are asking the Barack team about the tape and are being stonewalled. It is a wild card in the political campaign that has not yet played out.

As we told you, On the eve of the liberation date of Hebron, 29^th of Iyar, the IDF has destroyed the Chazon David outpost for the 33^rd time.

This time, because of the IDF's lack of sensitivity, destroying the outpost on the day Hebron was liberated, the residents of Kiryat Arba – Hebron decided to rebuild the Chazon David synagogue and make it much bigger. With nightfall, with presence of Rabbi Dov Lior and head of the Kiryat Arba council Tzvi Katzover, a truck unloaded building materials. Throughout mincha and ma'ariv, the afternoon and evening prayers, the sounds of hammers could be heard mingling with the cantor's voice.

After just a few hours, a new synagogue was raised, bearing a massive Star of David.

The elation the builders just intensified when we heard from a trusted source – that Olmert told Condoleezza that "We have taken down four outposts", only to have her tell him that "No, you have taken down only three. Chazon David has been rebuilt".

 

A drive has been organized, in which every citizens will be able to buy blocks in order to rebuild the outpost, hopefully boasting not only a synagogue but also a neighborhood center.

After his alleged crime was exposed, Chen and his family fled to Canada, ultimately making their way to Sao Paulo. Israeli sources said Chen's extradition to Israel would be carried out soon. Advertisement Chen's lawyer, Ariel Atari, said that his client turned himself in after reports in the Brazilian press began to surface, blaming the Jewish community for giving shelter to a child abuser. "It's something Elior Chen couldn't live with. What caused him to turn himself in was the desire to prevent blasphemy." Chen is considered the spiritual leader of a Jerusalem sect that was found to have abused young children, two of whom, aged 4 and 5, were hospitalized in March in critical condition. Chen's wife, Ruth, and their four children traveled to Brazil with him, but departed last week for Belgium. Hoping to pressure Chen's wife to turn him in, Brazilian authorities had removed the children from their mother's custody and placed them with a foster family for two days, after which they were returned to their mother. Representatives from Israel Police went Brazil to pursue Chen last week. An international warrant for his arrest was issued in April. Chen allegedly ordered his followers to "discipline" children by beating, burning, pushing and shaking them, and tying them up as a way of "correcting" their behavior. Chen had fled to Canada with one of his disciples after the arrest of a Jerusalem mother, apparently another of his disciples, on suspicion she severely abused her eight children at Chen's bidding. The mother was indicted for allegedly burning her toddlers, making them eat feces and locking them in a suitcase for days at a time, among other charges. Would-be Pilot Asked to Shave Beard, Peyot

(IsraelNN.com) "Y," a young yeshiva student from central Israel, was recently determined to be suitable for the Air Force's pilot training course. However, just weeks before his enlistment date, Y was informed that in order to take the course he would be required to shave his beard and peyot (sidelocks).

When he asked if the requirement was truly necessary, he was told that he must remove his beard for "operational and security reasons," and that the IAF wished him to remove his peyot for the sake of "unity among trainees." Y later discovered that there is no operational reason for pilots to shave their beards, and that they are not required to do so.

MK Uri Ariel (NU/NRP) has asked Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai to explain the IDF's "very bizarre" request. The IDF is creating difficulties for religious men who seek to serve, he said. The argument that the change is necessary for the sake of "unity" is ridiculous, Ariel said, adding that women who serve in the IDF "are not in unity with the young men in any way... some even have a ponytail..."

In honor of Hebron Day, the authorities once again destroyed the Chazon David synagogue

located in Kiryat Arba

 

Like thiefs in the night they came and destroyed

 it for the 33rd time!

 

What bothers them so much in Chazon David?

It is not even an outpost where families live. It is simply a synagogue built in memory of our dear friends David Cohen HY"D and Yehezkel Muallem HY"D who fell at that place and for that place.

 

The answer is simple:

What bothers them is not the "law and order" but rather the persistence, stubbornness, rebellion and strength of the Kiryat Arba-Hevron residents.

In Kiryat Arba-Hevron one will not find Jews who agree to bow down to corrupt leaders!

 

TODAY, 29th of IYAR, THE DAY THAT HEBRON WAS LIBERATED, WE WILL RETURN TO CHAZON DAVID AND REBUILD IT!

Israel's Plan to "Improve Life" for PA Arabs

(IsraelNN.com) The IDF plan to ease restrictions for Palestinian Authority Arabs in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley, is being implemented "in accordance with political echelon directives," according to a statement by the army spokesperson's unit. The plan was created following a series of meetings between regional IDF commanders, PA security officials and other PA senior officials.

"The IDF and the Civil Administration are constantly operating to enable different relief measures to the Palestinian population whilst   guaranteeing the security of the citizens of Israel," the IDF noted. Much of the plan has already been implemented, but much more is yet to come, according to the notice sent out to the media, including significant easing of security restrictions as well as major improvements to infrastructure and economic development.

For example, the plan calls for construction of two intersections in Hevron, upgrading of five checkpoints in Judea and Samaria and establishment of industrial zones in Jericho, Jenin and Tarqumiya. A hospital is to be built in northern Samaria, and "the authorization of 14 plans will allow the legal settling of thousands of Palestinian [Authority Arabs]." In addition, 20 PA police stations are to be established.  A PA tourism conference held in Bethlehem in May brought in a profit of some NIS 20 million and contracts worth an estimated $ 1.4 billion. Security concessions included the removal of 70 checkpoints and roadblocks in the month of May alone, a 40% increase in the number of PA workers allowed into pre-1967 Israel, permission for 5,000 PA workers to stay overnight in the area and 500 permits issued for senior PA businessmen.

We do listen to Bilaam. We even quote him, every day: "Ma tovu ohalekha, Ya'akov…." As to the latter seers, they are not prophets. A prophet is one who speaks for Hashem which they did not do. But the Pieszeczner Rebbe, Kalonymos Kalman Shapira, hy"d, explained that it says something like Bat kol yotzeh kol yom mhHorev." (A [heavenly] voice goes out every day from Horev) in the present tense. That means it still goes out today and we can pick it up. The problem is that we live in a very low place and reception is lousy. We have to learn to hear and properly ID what we can while we try to get to higher ground. It seems that Bilaam's folks can also "hear" it if they listen properly. Interesting, scary...but whose prophecies are more powerful: the Bible, or these convoluted , bizarre thoughts?

And where does the Catholic Church fit in all of this? I can see Masonry, i.e. Jesuits, but I don't see the pope here! Where is the connection between the Vatican and Hitler, that was apparently quite strong?  This philosophy is very close to the NWO philosophy. So going by that, according to these later day "prophets", this third leader, after Hitler, would have to be a follower of the same philosophy; it couldn't be an Ahmedinajjad. The BLACK POPE ( i.e. the Jesuit General) would be a closer fit.

Anyway, why should we listen to Bilaam?

Parole Board Grants Omri Sharon Early Release

(IsraelNN.com) A Prison Services parole board decided Monday to grant Omri Sharon an early release. Sharon will be released in three weeks, after five months in prison.

Sharon, the son of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, was convicted of violating campaign finance laws and giving false testimony. He was originally sentenced to nine months in prison, but his sentence was later reduced to seven months.

Should I Pray Today?

(IsraelNN.com) Every morning I rise before dawn and try to steal a few moments for myself.  Usually it is so close to dawn that the birds have already started to converse in a raucous din, I plunge into the cool of the morning to retrieve my newspaper, and return to grind the coffee.  I say Modeh Ani and reach for the washing cup.  It's automatic. 
 
Morning blessings, Shema . . . automatic.
 
Wash for bread. Eat.  Pray.
 
Except, today it's not automatic.  I pause before I reach for the cup.
 
Should I pray today? Why should I?  What would be the point?  After all, maybe I'm praying in vain. 

Mikvah in Vain
 
Thousands of converts to Judaism who thought they were doing the right thing by converting through the Israeli Conversion Authority are now considered to have been praying in vain. Every mitzvah they did, in vain. Every act of chessed, in vain. Every mikvah, especially the mikvah for conversion, in vain.
 
Their marriages, their children, their lives, their deaths, their burials—all in vain.
 
I hear that Rabbi Sherman's High Rabbinical Court has now added to his list of "invalid" conversions, throwing out the conversions of people who are deaf and/or mute.  The logic goes something like this:  Deaf people aren't required to keep all the mitzvot, and since converts must intend to take on all the mitzvot, deaf people and mute people can't convert.
 
Another day, another outrageous ruling. 

What about women?
 
What's next?  A ruling that says that since women aren't required to keep all the mitzvot, that women can't convert?  Then, perhaps, because converts can't be Kohanim, and part of the Mitzvot are for Kohanim, that no one can convert?
 
Should I steel myself for the next ruling, or slide away into nihilism?  Does anything mean anything any more?  Am I who I think I am?  Does it matter?
 
One might say to me, "But you aren't a Convert!  Why should you care?"
 
Because I feel that it is only a matter of time before every Jew's Jewishness is questioned.   It is only a matter of time before every single one of us is determined to be unfit to perform a mitzvah or keep Shabbat or live in the land of Israel.
 
Nobody's Perfect

Can you say you are a perfect Jew, after all?  Do you know EVERYTHING about your family's past?  Do you know who your great, great, great grandmother was? Can you prove she wasn't a convert?  Can you prove her mother wasn't? If one of them was a convert, can you prove she didn't convert for marriage?  Can you prove she was completely mitzvah observant?
 
Have you or anyone in your family now or in the past ever been a member of a religious Zionist organization?  Have you always observed the halachot (Jewish laws) regarding modesty (tzniut)? 

And what about your family?  Are there any pictures of you as a baby, for example, drooling and naked on a bearskin rug?  Were you ever, for a moment, caught smiling out of context?  Are there any witnesses who might attest that you may have been present in a movie theater?
 
Have you, G-d forbid, every gone off the derech?  Did you, as a seventh-grader, dare question your rabbi in Chumash class? Have you ever wondered what bacon tastes like?  Did you think about kissing a girl you weren't married to?  Did you imagine what her elbows must look like?  Did you ever tie your left shoe before your right?

Witch Hunt
 
The truth is that if one Jew is no longer a Jew, how long will it be before every one of us is a victim of this witch hunt?  Why isn't anyone saying anything?  Why is no one doing anything?  Why are we just taking this craziness and going on with our lives?
 
Is it because it is not your problem?  Let's put it in perspective.  Are your thoughts something like this:
 
First they came for the converts, and I said nothing because I was not a convert. 
 
Then they came for the deaf and the mute, and I said nothing because I wasn't deaf and I wasn't mute . . .
 
Sounds familiar.  Too familiar for me.
 
So what do we do? What will happen to us, to our Ger Tzeddek, to B'nai Israel? 
 
Today, I chose to pick up the washing cup and finish my prayers, but I fear that there are thousands of people, in addition to those converts who have been pushed out, who wont.

GOVERNMENT GONE WILD -  BUT - THE CROOKS WANT TO STAY IN POWER by Emanuel A. Winston, Mid East Commentator & Analyst

When an animal becomes rabid, it can be unpredictable and extremely dangerous to all others. Such animals become bold; they will attack; they will infect those they bite. It's a disease that kills both the rabid aggressor and its victim - unless treated quickly.

What does one do with a government made up of principals and followers who seem to have been infected to the point they can no longer distinguish friends (their own people) from enemies who pledge to kill them - and then actually carry out this pledge?

Unlike rabid animals, it is not the Jewish way to put down government officials, even when they make it possible for their own people to be murdered. Worse yet, those in control, like the biased Court system and certain Police officials delay trials and the subsequent caging of incurable corrupt, ineffective elected officials who have already enabled the murder of Jewish Israeli citizens. Successive governments have done this through secret agreements which have strengthened Israel's declared enemies and, at the same time, weakened the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).

It would be merciful to the Nation to put these people safely away so they can no longer harm themselves, the Jewish nation and especially the Israeli people.

For exceptional crimes against humanity (the Jewish people), the international Allied community held the Nuremberg Trials in Germany and the subsequent hangings of those convicted criminals. Adolph Eichmann was caught, tried, and executed in Israel. Of course, many were never caught and/or were protected so they could do it again.

We Jews are not immune from having traitors among our own people - in our midst. We remember the 'Judenrat' from the days when they served the Nazi regimes. We know them from today, sometimes called Left Liberals, sometimes using the name of "Peace", Kadima, Labor or a dozen other fronts.

Collectively, they have a few things in common. They do not like being Jewish; they do not believe that the Land G-d gave the Jews in perpetuity actually belongs to them - by right and by G-d's Will. Jews are too quick to kneel before the enemy and will even sacrifice their own kind - their own families - in order to appease Muslim Arabs or Western friends tied to Muslim Arab oil.

The current Olmert government and those who support de-Judaizing Israel are a very sick bunch. Some are in an advanced stage of a "political dementia" - not unlike having gone mad with rabies. They never learned the history of the Jewish people or are anxious to forget it. They are willing to see their own killed IF it will appease the Islamic "Jihadists".

Surely, a compendium should be assembled of those who committed crimes against the Jewish people and the nature of this crime. While it would be preferable to bring them to trial immediately, we Jews are reluctant to mete out Justice - even for the worst of crimes - against our own humanity. So, let this book of dishonor be assembled, with no provisions for exclusions in the future.

The Government of Ehud Olmert, with Ehud Barak, Tzippi Livni and Shimon Peres has made every mistake possible with respect to weakening the Jewish nation.

BUT, THE CROOKS WANT TO STAY IN POWER

The unreliable Kadima members are meeting with urgency to maneuver the public into letting them stay in power after Olmert goes. Remember these are the same moles who planned a "coup d'état" while yet inside the Likud Party. Then, the "Party Jumpers", led by Ariel Sharon, subverted Likud by creating Kadima.

Maybe it's a good idea to vote for Kadima because we will know where all the crooks are and we can keep an eye on them. Besides, in future criminal investigations they can have one pool of criminals to bring to trial instead of separate indictments.

At the moment, they are trying to rescue Kadima from its all encompassing reputation as being the den of corruption by saying the current Foreign Minister, Tzipi Livni, is squeaky clean...Oh. Really? Was Livni really so dumb, so unaware of her cohorts' behavior that she didn't see (or didn't want to see) their corruption? If she was that deaf, dumb and blind, then this is a mighty strong reason to insure she never becomes Prime Minister.

Livni is reported to want November elections as Teheran signs a coordinated missile agreement with Syria, Hezb'Allah and Hamas. (1) The Crooks wish to stay in power - even in the face of a saturation missile attack - caused by their naive and stupid policies.

One is reminded of Josephus Flavius "War of the Jews" wherein he describes how the Jews of ancient Israel were consumed with fighting each other as the Romans crept up to cut their throats.

Livni is, however, well loved by the U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Andrea Merkel, Prime Minister of Germany because Livni has been so malleable. Whatever they say, she repeats like a wooden lap dummy. Most Israelis know she is a slow thinker, but obedient, which is why she was added to Sharon's staff and kept on by Olmert. Her decisions have been notoriously problematic and dull-witted - especially when she worked with the U.N. and Rice to end the Lebanon War of 2006 on the worst terms possible.

Now, as before, UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon) troops are working with Hezb'Allah, allowing them free access to South Lebanon and the continual build-up of their missile stockpiles.

The Kadima Party became a magnet for the most inept, corrupt politicians who could be gathered in one spot. There is talk that Likud under Bibi Netanyahu would seek to recruit some Kadimites to "Party-Jump" back to Likud.

Israel never gets a break politically. Here is an opportunity to get rid of the known corrupters gathered in Kadima now and yet Netanyahu wants to rescue them. What does this say about a Likud government under Netanyahu?

Let's ask Netanyahu to state his platform and then sign a contract with the Israeli people to keep every pledge. (Recall how Sharon lied - lied - lied and, once in power, ignored every pledge he ever made.) I doubt that Netanyahu will make a binding contract with the Jewish people and agree to resign if he breaks this contract.

I wonder what Israel would do if they elected One Honest Man who had backbone and really believed in the Jewish Nation?

What we do not need is another spineless crook ready to give up the Golan and 40% of Israel vital water resource that comes from the Golan Heights. The Golan has been peaceful for 35 years because Israel's observation posts in the Golan, on Mt. Hermon and Mt. Dov can look down into Damascus and spot the start-up of the first aggressive tank or plane.

We do not need to surrender Judea and Samaria and uproot more than 250,000 Jewish men, women and children. Why should we destroy their lives and homes? How would Israel even begin to pay to re-settle them? The 10,000 Jewish men, women and children evicted from Gush Katif/Gaza in 2005 still do not have permanent homes and most don't have jobs.

Must Judea and Samaria become like another Gaza with 3 to 5 million Muslim Arab Palestinians dumped into it so they could fire at the entire Israeli coastal area? Add to that the mountain areas aquifers which provides what was once clean water to the Tel Aviv coastal areas. Now the Arab Muslims allow sewage to flow into the valleys and from there into the fresh water resource aquifers.

Israel needs a new government that starts clean with people known to be ethical and well out of the circle of corruption. There really are people like that in Israel but, it will be hard to break the choke-hold the political parties have on the people. It starts with the Prime Minister with a clean record and his willingness to clean house.

I grant you such a successful selection will be a miracle. But, Israel was born and survived many wars by such miracles where the People fought for their lives, rights and the Jewish State so HaShem granted the needed miracles.

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the cabinet Sunday that his trip to the U.S. this week will have "great importance, especially as regards the subjects that are at the roots of Israel's survival."

The diplomatic-security cabinet meeting which was planned to discuss the situation in the southern front was postponed until next week. Olmert said Sunday that the government would fulfill its promise to act in order to give residents of the south a "feeling" of security.

It was a waste of life and talent. He spent it all on trying to erase
any remembrance of Judaism from the world. He hated more the religious
Jews than any enemy group of Israel. He did waste it. He was an honest
politician but the cancer that ate him up to start with was the cancer
of hate of G-d.

The Holocaust created far more than the 6 million direct victims of its horrors.  Many were mangled for life and generations psychologically.

Those of us, my immediate family that is, that escaped that by being for many years in South America before WWII, cannot possibly internalize in full the malignant effects of the monstrous acts against our people.

What is even less possible for me is to understand why would anyone that survived it, attack other Jews just because they believe in G.d.

The victims themselves can possibly be understood on their bitterness, but not against other Jews. 

That is unforgivable and on the later Mr. Lapid was even worse as he was key to the Pogrom against Jews in Gush Katif-Shomron.

 

I hope the Lord has pity on him and allows him to find peace after a very terrible life.

Former Shinui Party Chairman Yosef (Tommy) Lapid Dead at 77

(IsraelNN.com) The former chairman of the secular Shinui Party, Yosef (Tommy) Lapid, died early Sunday morning at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv at the age of 77.  He was suffering from cancer.

The veteran journalist and politician had been hospitalized six months ago after suffering a heart attack at his home.

Lapid served as chairman of the world-famous Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial council, having himself lost his most of his family in World War II. He was born in Benovitz, Serbia, as Tomislav Lempel, son to a well-to-do Reform-Jewish family. He immigrated to Israel with his mother from Yugoslavia in 1948. The two arrived three years after losing Lapid's father, who died in a concentration camp just two weeks before the war ended.

A long-time journalist (he served on the editorial board of the Hebrew-language Ma'ariv newspaper), he also served as director of the Israel Broadcast Authority, director of Israel TV (when Israel had only one TV station) and chairman of the cable television union. In 1998 he was awarded the Sokolov Prize for Print Journalism, Israel's equivalent to the Pulitzer Prize. He also wrote a series of successful travel guides.

In 1998 Lapid was asked by Shinui, a centrist party founded in the 1970's, to head its list for the Knesset, after polls showed it would not make it into the Knesset in the upcoming elections. Lapid accepted the request and led Shinui to an electoral success, with six MKs in the 15th Knesset. The party's messages concentrated on opposition to what it termed "religious coercion" and it vowed to force hareidi-religious men to serve in the military. Lapid's anti-religious line proved popular and in the 2003 elections to the 16th Knesset Shinui grew to 15 MKs, and became the third largest party.

Lapid became a major force in the government, serving as Justice Minister and deputy Prime Minister. He was a supporter of Supreme Court President Aharon Barak's policy of "judicial activism" and of the Disengagement from Gaza, as well as Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyhau's economic reforms. Shinui also succeeded in pushing through a reform which lowered child allowances for families with many children, a move which was seen as detrimental to the interests of the hareidi-religious and Arab populations. In late 2004 the party was ousted from the government after voting against the budget. It began plummeting in the polls after Ariel Sharon founded Kadima and did not make it into the 17th Knesset. Lapid quit politics in 2006 and chose instead to return to journalism.

Tommy Lapid and his wife, the writer Shulamit Lapid, were parents to three children: journalist Yair, Meirav and Michal, who was killed in a car accident in 1984.
